I shifted my d2h connection from mumbai to hyderabad, i was charged the applicable money by the person who came for installation. Later i recharged my account online and without any notification i was charged again through my online recharge balance. I have been following up since 3 weeks and there is no response what so ever.

This is a fraud and something has to be done about the same.

    Dear trai,

    I am a dish tv (Formerly videocon d2h) user with customer id[protected]. Since from last 1 & 1/2 month, i am facing no. Of issues regarding services of videocon d2h, which includes non supply of remote (After lodging complaint no response to resolve the complaint). Finally we purchased the remote from out side. After a long time they came back for supply of remote.

    Fresh incident is after my recharge of the plan on 19.7.19, the signal is not getting and complaint lodged on 20-7-19, but so far complaint not attended.

    As it's happening frequently i request you to intervene & provide resolution. Lodging complaints again & again isn't feasible with videocon d2h. They keep our call on hold for mammoth duration (30 min). Sometimes call gets disconnected & they don't bother to call back. If we write email, they simply avoid to reply it.

    Now i am so furious, that i even don't want to use their services but unfortunately i have invested money in buying their useless products. I want my money back for the investment done on their set top box & umbrella.

    I hope needful action will be initiated from your end & strict action will be taken against videocon d2h.

      Whenever i try calling from my jio number to airtel number (My mothers) there are frequent cross connections i keep hearing other people talking.
      Its very annoying and moreover i thought the issue was going to get over soon but its been 6 long months that whenever i try calling my mother the call first connects to some 3rd party without me ever hearing any actual ringing and eventually after trying for at least 5 to 6 times the call connects.
      This brings me to the conclusion if i can hear other people maybe someone else might be eavesdropping my personal conversations which is annoying and invading consumers privacy.

      I want trai to look into this matter asap does this happen because jio and airtel are rival company and consumers have to suffer because i don't face any such issue with my other contacts.

        I am cable subscriber from den cable and lives in ghatkopar laxminagar mumbai 400075. I have asked my cable operator to provide a certain list of channels based on the recent order from trai. However, my operator has denied to provide the subscription to the list of channels as he mentioned he can only provide the package (Pre-defined list of channel in package) given by den cable only. This is totally against the rules of trai and breaking the rules. I request you to take action against the den cable. My details are as follows

        DEAR TRAI TEAM, Thanks for quick response & support. As per my request DEN cable solve my problem. They activate all channels as per my requirement. All credit goes to you. Request to den the channel started should continue as follows. I humble request to DEN please provide a certain list of channels as per customer requirement.

        As per i request to TRAI. They solve my complaint. LCO and DEN Cable give me channels as i required.

          Respected team,

          This is to inform you that i a using dish tv dth connection ([protected]) we are not getting good services from the service provider, we are unable to view 4 channels (Sony sab hd, star gold hd, star gold star bharat, sony pal) since last 5 months & we have loge many complaints for the same but still the problem is yet to be resolved always they asking for money as technician visiting charge & i have already pay near about 1500/- for the same but the problem is not resolve.

          Not only this by today[protected] we are getting 301 error due to bad weather but after 4 hours we are still not getting any channels then we called to customer care, then they asking to technician visit for the same & the charges is 200/- + gst, you are requested to please look into the same because these people have made this business, i do not know how many people like me would make money by making such an #.

            D2h is the worst service provider i have ever seen. On 12th may i recharge my pack of rs 300 after some days box shows no signal so i contact the customer care they were asked for 200 rs as engineer charge. Many time this things happen to me. Before engineer come there is a balance of rs 215 so they deducted 200 rs from the balance on that day the box started but with zero balance.in next recharge, i have asked them is there any balance? They said no so i make new plan nd recharge on 24th june of rs 345 for 28 days bt they continued it only upto 17th july. When i contacted to customer care they said they need to register my complaint but not given any solution. I registered my complaint nearly 4 to 5 time but not received any resolution by the end they said after deducting the engineer charges from the last balance our balance were in minus. But before recharge, they said there is not any kind of balance and our acoount is clear. This worst situation at every time of recharge by using different reason. Constant deduction is continued.

              I am use tata sky hd and the set top box is not working. I raised the complaint with customer care and they technician will visit home for inspection is set top box and if it not working then he will replace it.
              Cost of replacing set top box is rs. 400 and inspection and installation charges is rs. 150.
              Since the set top box is not working, i told them there is no need to do any inspection, i will come to tata sky office to handover old set top box and take the new one by paying box charges.
              Tata sky is not agreeing for this, they want me to pay extra rs. 150 for installation but why one should pay extra money just for connecting 3 wires, which i can do for myself.

              I hope necessary action will be taken against tata sky and other dth providers and rules should be set for such issue where the customer can do the installation for him self and the providers should not force them to pay extra charges.

                I have got idea prepaid connection. Last night suddenly my sim was not working, when i went to idea galery, they told your sim is damaged, you have to replace it, but it was working properly by 11.30. How it will get damaged after 12 midnight. When i was in idea galary, lot of idea customers are comming with same complaint. They charged me 75 rs. And had given new sim.

                  On my vodafone numbers [protected] and [protected] network is not working so that i am not able to call or use my internet where as i have sufficient balance in my account. The main reason is i had complained regarding this issue many times but still there is no response from the company side. Every time they say that our engineer will look after your problem but there is no response from them. So please solve my problem.

                      You also informed us that since esim problem is not being sorted out, the other sims
                      Also cannot be converted. This means that we are being forced to continue post-paid
                      Connections on the pretext of esim conversion not happening which is not our problem.

                      We, therefore, request you to give us a final decision on conversion of our sims from post-paid
                      To pre-paid else, we will be forced to discontinue all the jio sims we have and switchover to
                      Other service provider.

                      Also please let us know what we need to do to discontinue all our jio numbers so that we

                        मैंने इंडिपेनडेंट टीवी लगाया था 23 दिसम्बर 2018 को जिसमे मुझे एक साल की वैधता मिली थी, ओर ये भी बताया गया था कि हम सारे चेनल आपको दिखाएंगे,
                        परन्तु इनकी डिश टीवी की परेशानियों का कोई अंत नहीं, धीरे धीरे इन्होने अपने चेनल बंद करने शुरू कर दिए,
                        बाद में कलर के सारे चेनल बंद कर दिए, उसके बाद ज़ी के चेनल बंद कर दिए, बाद में स्टार के चेनल बंद कर दिए, ओर ध्यान देने योग्य बात ये हुई कि 12 जून को इन्होने अपना पूरा नेटवर्क बंद कर दिया, ।
                        दुर्भाग्य की बात ये है कि इनका ग्राहक सेवा केंद्र में भी फोन नहीं लगता था, जिस से हमे काफी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ा,
                        मै आपसे विनम्र विनती करता हूं कि इनके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए क्यूकी इन्होने अपने ग्राहकों के साथ धोखा किया ओर उनके भावनाओ के साथ खेला है,
                        मुझे इनका डिश टीवी नहीं चाहिए ना अभी ओर ना आने वाले दिनों में अगर दुर्भाग्य से ये आ गए तो,

                          I had a bsn tv connection. I had taken the connection on 7th of july. My tv is not showing any channel from 14 july. Therefore i called the bsn cable tv operator to fix this problem but he always keeps on saying that he is coming but never came.
                          And also he had taken money for all the channels
                          Now i want my money back because of the unprofessional attitude of the cable operator
                          Plz help

                            I put request to airtel dth for relocation of my airtel dish [protected] vide req id 91594496 on 13 jul 19. They advertise for relocation within 6 working hours. I got call from mech mob no.[protected] at 14.45 on 15 Apr for confirmation. He told that he is coming soon. After long wait I called him back at 18.16 hrs and asked, he told that he is cmng within 30 mins. Again i called him at 2007 hrs twice but no reply from his number. After that I called customer care at 2017 hrs and asked to talk to some executives but they put my call on hold for 14 mins and disconnected without connecting me forward. I sent email to airteldth at 2046 hrs on same day complaning all facts on same day. They replied to mail on 16 Jul morning and gave a call and assured me that it will be resolved soon. Furthur waiting for whole day again I called mechanic in evening but there was no reply. Again i sent email on 16 jul 2149 hrs for no action. Again they replied to email and gave call next morning. But all in vain. No action was taken for furthur one more day. I was shocked to get no response till now from company like airtel and left all to god. Lastly they approached me today on 18 jul 19 afternoon and asked for service. They finally done connection today afternoon but charged Rs280 in place of 250 as briefed first day. Sir I feel harassed and duped by poor services of airtel. Plse take appropriate corrective action against airtel dth and instruct them to compensate me so that no other subscriber faces this problem in future.

                              Hi,

                              My d2h connection is not getting any signal and raised a complaint with videocon d2h. Till date no engineer has come to resolve the issue. I would like to disconnect my connection and move to another d2h and want my refund balance amount back.in this regard, videocon d2h has informed that disconnection can happen but no refund.
                              I want my refund as we do not need such third class service providers.

                                After several complaint to Dish tv Customer care for signal lost, Dish tv does not not respond for sending the technician to attend complain. I was complained first time on 26.06.19 which is automatically closed by Dish tv without any attention on 04.07.19 from their side & again complained on 11.07.19 Reference number[protected] but no one has come till now.

                                    There are 25 emails written by me to airtel and till date the issue stands unresolved.

                                    I can share all the emails separately since the file size is bigger hence not shared over here.

                                    I got a call from aishwarya on friday afternoon when she bridged some executive/manager from airtel named gautam ojha, now; a new story evolves by gautam. He said that i am a liar and i have lied to everyone. He says that the engineer rajesh, who had come to my place for installation, had done the installation with my mother’s permission. My straight question to everyone in the dth team, can a sr. Citizen lady of 70 years age guide an engineer of 25 years age to install a dth connection and its wiring. What i as an engineer and a sensible individual would have done is followed the same wiring which was done for the previous dth connection. It’s not that we have installed dth for the 1st time in life, we already had an old connection since last few years, which we recently surrendered and ported to airtel, he should have used his common sense and should have done the wiring the way it was done previously, instead he choose to do a fresh wiring thereby ruining my wall paint and spoiling the whole room. Now, the question is, why he did that, let me explain he did that for his convenience and ease, since following the old wiring pattern was a bit cumbersome and time taking. Now, gautam says that i am a liar and he is trusting his engineer more than a hni customer like me. He says that he got due permission from my mother to do the fresh wiring and spoil the wall paint. This was left for a gazzetted officer like me to hear from gautam that i am liar.

                                    2nd issue: gautam says that i have created all this issue due to discount, what an interpretation!!

                                    I called airtel and for 2 connections with one antenna, the other connection as "child" connectioon, with 2 set top boxes. I was being told that i will be charged 1800 + 1500 i. E. 3300/-. Gautam gave me a discount of 500/- and charged me 2800/- when i asked him “is this the best he can do”, he said “yes”. Now, what gautam feels and believes is that since he did not give me more than inr 500 concession, i have created all these issues and ruckus? I want to know from airtel, that is 500/- so big for gov. Officers like us that we will live with this issue since day 1 if installation. Is this the level of thought of airtel employees that they allege customers like us that since 500/- discount was only provided; customers like us have created this issue. Think and ponder over it and pls talk to gautam like executives and send them for some customer relationship and behavioral training programmes.

                                    3rd issue: has airtel not taught basics of telephone handling to its executives, i have worked for bharti group in the leadership team for almost a decade and we used to teach basic etiquettes and manners to our employees, perhaps gautam missed……he called me today on a sunday and national fastival of election voting day, when i was at polling station, and without even seeking my consent to continue with the call and even not bothered to find out, whether it’s a good time to speak or not, he bridged his supervisor on the call, when, i had to disconnect, that’s not the need, he again did that and again i had to disconnect. Guys, its a sunday and more over it’s a polling day, you can’t barge in one’s privacy on a holiday and just call whenever you feel like, and the atrocity is that you dot even have the basic courtesy despite barging in one’s personal hours to seek his permission to continue with the call. Where is the level of customer friendliness gone in airtel. I am really perplexed and worried as an ex bharti employee…..

                                    The same thing was done by the engineer rajesh, when he visited for rectification at 8 pm on 13th may, which was completely shocking and unbelievable for me.

                                    4th issue: till now, i have not received any sms, email or any snail mail from you regarding my customer information as in id etc., am i a customer of dth on board till now or not, if yes, where is my id and other details like plan information, date of expiry, recharge information etc.

                                    5th issue: gautam has taken it to his ego and decided that rajesh will not visit my place for rectification of my issue, where he has spoilt my wall paints etc. I humbly request airtel to teach people like gautam that you cannot afford to have ego with customers in this competitive and aware world. You have to be loyal, customer friendly and needless flexible with the customers, he has a big ego and he is simply not sending that guy due to his personal ego. I got a call today i. E. Sunday again, from amit and once again, without seeking my permission to continue with the call, he goes on and says that he will send the engineer but not rajesh to correct the wirings etc. I said no and pls teach him also to seek customer’s consent to continue with the call. He said gautam has told him to send an engineer but he cannot send rajesh.

                                    6th issue: just to let you know one of the deeds of rajesh, he has not fixed the antenna with nut and bolts and screws, he has tied the antenna with a plastic rope and he asked my mother to purchase a rope so that he can tie the antenna, does airtel pays so less to its engineers that they have started stealing nuts and bolts of the antennas now. Tell me, where in the world have you seen dish antennas being tied with a rope and not fastened with screws and nut and bolts. You can very well imagine the level of craftsmanship from engineer rajesh.

                                    7th issue: gautam has said that he cannot send rajesh, since he is not working anymore. It’s very hard to believe since we have done skip tracing and mystery shopping and found that he is very much working and has been told to say to anyone calling him that he has left the sf. This is not ethical and not right. Let me ask you, airtel has a process of on boarding and off boarding. On boarding involved the verification and other documentation check which gets attached to his v and personal file. Similarly, exit has an exit form and full and final settlement, kindly help me with the exit documents of rajesh, to make me believe that he has genuinely exited.

                                    8th and last issue: you can imagine and understand the severity of my plight and how much aggrieved i am that i have written such a lengthy and long descriptive email to you, despite my busy schedule. I am sure very rarely you get such long emails, trust me, these emails should be welcome, in today’s world when customers hardly give feedbacks. I am so much perturbed, disturbed, hurt (By allegations from gautam) that i wrote such a long email. The level of hurt is so much that i really feel bad having a connection from you guys. Pls take some action against the fellow gautam. Also, these guys have bothered and deliberately frustrated and annoyed me so much that i thought of writing to you guys, otherwise, generally, i refrain from complaining mode.

                                    I would appreciate a point by point revert on the above. Also, aishwary's efforts are really fantastic, she is a great resource and i wish her all success in future.

                                      I have videocon d2h subscription customer id 6998635 i registered a complaint with them on july 10th 2019 to change my set top box, to which i was told an engineer will visit your house in the next 48 hrs. No once came, i registered another complaint on saturday july 13th 2019 to which customer service said an engineer will visit in the next 24 hrs same result no one came. Then i emailed them another complaint that no one is coming to help me on sunday july 14 2019 to which they replied on monday that an engineer will come in 24 hrs but again the same result no one came. I have taken an add-on channel to watch cricket world cup. I was paying them extra for that but i could not watch the world cup final videocon d2h has failed to provide me that service to my satisfaction. Till now my tv is not working

                                        Worst service ever. I have been charged for engineer visit, however no engineer came to resolve my issue and i need to contact private executive by paying extra. Customer care executives disconnect the call while speaking and if they speak they do not have resolution. Twice my complaint was closed without resolution. I would request the trai team to intervene and resolve my issue. How can someone charge on my account without intimation. These people send sms alerts for recharge of the account. Why can't they send messages for debits and reason???
