Sir I booked a sleeper class but the travel agent called me on the morning and said sleeper bus has been cancelled so will have to avail semi sleeper and when i agreed to it they don't show up at the said time. I had tp wait more than 2 hours. I need necessary action against them

      My name is vasudas, i booked a ticket in redbus application from Palakkad to Chennai on[protected], travels name is universal travels, i got a message from redbus my ticket was confirmed and seat no. is 6M and also gave me a contact no.         This is the worst travels in india...very bad behaviour by the office staff . especially in pondicherry office...bad conditioned buses. not reaching on time...if its supposed to reach at morning the they will take it till the evening...please take necessary changes against this...or stop your travels and choose some other business

          Booked ticket on Universal bus.very very worst service ever had in my life. Booked my ticket on 14.7.15. the stated departure time was 10pm but the pick up arrived only at 12 midnite, leaving me stand alone near thiruvanmiyur. Being a girl had to be there without any safety with no one around. Even after the pick up due to improper maintenance the bus broke down and my travel time was delayed an hour again for change of bus. Even after the change of bus i was not dropped on my destination. My destination was MANNARGUDI for which i was forced to drop down at THIRUTURAIPUNDI from where i had to take another bus to reach my place. Even after complaining to the owner([protected]) o[censored]NIVERSAL BUS there was no response. When the driver([protected]) was asked for his driving license to complain, he coolly said he doesnt have one. WORST SERVICE and worst maintenance ever.

            sir my name is jeeva yesterday night i traveled my universal travels from karikkal to coimbatore (9.00pm). The bus timeing was 9.00pm at karikkal but the bus came 10.30pm only and the bus reached coimbatore city at 7.30am . when the bus reaches the city the bus stopped due to some problem . So we all tock a town bus from there to the bus stand.the bus driver also did not no the root of coimbatore he was rounding the trichy city to find the coimbatore root . note:i was traveling for past 10 years in this root in the same travels. But now for few years the services was very very wrost there was no timeing no maintanacs in that services . so please make your sevices to be good other vices you will lost your coustamer. make sour of your travels comfort and safe. thanks you

                  Dear Sir/Madam,
                  The above passenger is supposed to leave Cuddaore on 8/03/2015, through your Bus Service mentioned above.
                  Around 3.30 PM, when your office at Cuddaoore was enquired about the status of departure, it was informed that the bus will be departure from cuddalore at 5.30 PM.

                  On the way to Cuddalore Bus stop, at 5.10 Pm, the passenger saw the Bus on the opposite direction and immediately contact your office requesting to stop the Bus, as it has travelled only a short distance but it was refused.
                  Now, we found following lapses from you part.
                  1)Bus is late should have been informed in through the contact Number given.
                  2) Before departure information should have been to the contact number given.
                  3) Actually your Cudalore contact person informed that he contacted but the number he mentioned did no match the given contact number. He accepted his mistake and ask the passenger to travel next day morning with the same ticket.
                  But unfortunately the passenger had an urgent appointment at Chennai on 9th March Morning hence with great difficult she returned on 8 th Night itself.

                  We feel this is a serious service lapse for Universal Travels and we shall think twice in future before travelling through your Bus Service.

                  We at least, expect the refund the ticket charges (Rs. 450)

                    This is Manoj, I had booked for a bus through Redbus.in from Karaikal to Chennai for me and my parents, Please find below the travels and ticket details, - redBus mTicket - Karaikal to Chennai TGAW97799573 UNI1048912 Universal Travels 11:10 PM Oct 5, 2014 26(M), 27(M), 14(F) Rs.1800 Below are my concerns, 1. Bus that we traveled was worst in condition, There was strange noise all through my travel. Please find attached a few pics of the bus with its number. 2. Though Bus was scheduled to start at 11.15pm, it started at 11.45 pm only. Driver's style of driving even with a unconditional bus like this was very scary and unsafe in spite of repeated complaint to him by the passengers who traveled in the bus to drive slowly and carefully. 3. Exactly at 1.45am, maybe after some 50km of travel, Tyre got punctured. In between the axle rod that connects wheels to axle was falling apart from its Position time and again maybe because of the unruly driving of the driver. 4. Inspire of all the passengers repeated calling and escalating even till 4.00 am no action was taken. Neither the driver had tools to change the Stepni (spare Tyre) but also was rude in accepting there was a problem with the Axle rod. 5. Since the Chidambaram bus terminus was nearby, I took a choice of traveling on the government bus to chennai which I considered safe than this bus. Please make sure Redbus and Universal travels, Both reputed concerns don't play with life of their passengers. Kindly respond fairly so that wrong people get the penalty, Thanks and Regards, Manoj

                      We bought a ticket from Pondicherry to Coimbatore for AC Volvo Coach from Ibibo for Universal Travels on the 17 th of August ' 2014 with Booking ID - Operator PNR No. UNI1004576 and GOIBIBO booking Id - GOBUSMOB[protected] . The departure and arrival time of the Bus was suppose to be 17:30 and 02 :30 respectively . The Bus we were asked to board was a Non - AC coach which was intentionally travelled to 300 KM in wrong direction towards South side to Karaikal . Misbehaving driver stopped us at an unknown Stop where Police was called due to negligence of Driver and Misbehaviour of Driver with Passengers . After having waited for 5 hours at the Spot a small 15 seater Tempo was called and Reached Coimbatore at 10 :30 in Morning . The cost Payed to Traveller was 3700 for a Volvo bus for 5 passengers and this intentional negligence by the Traveller caused us a lot of emotional and stress . Mobile Number [protected]

                          I book 2 tickets through RED bus in Bangalore from NAGAPATTINAM to BANGALORE on[protected]. The bus departure time is 20.35 & we (My MUM & my self) where standing in the pickup point (Nagapattinam Hi way) from 20.10 to 22.10. till that there is NO place to stand or sit. Just we are standing on the road as street dogs. During that time I got this mbl no of +[protected]. I called this no more than 100 times & no one picked up the call. Then I call Karaikal no then they said it will come in 15 min. Then we boar that bus @ 22.10 & the bus reach Karaikal @ 22.40.......... The drivers says he can't drive the bus because there is NO BREAK. Then the mechanic arrive @ 23 hrs then then finally we moved from Karaikal @ 22.30.(Going to all the bus stand & taking passenger like local bus & they is called SPECIAL BUS)

                          Next day Morning this bus arrived HOSUR @ 8.30 hrs then some one says change to next bus due to this bus don't have PERMIT to enter Karnataka. The bus which travel till Hosur is KL registration. What to do we paid & we have reach our place. So we shifted to next bus which is KA 01 3289. This bus reached Karnataka CHECK POST. When they submit all the related documents to check post authority THE DRIVEN DON'T HAVE DRIVING LICENCE THAT TIME & ALSO THE VEHICLE DON'T HAVE SOME OTHER CERTIFICATE. That time the helper or supervisor demands all the passenger to give some money to pay the fine & we have to collect that in their Madivala Office & also he says that he DON'T HAVE MONEY WITH HIM DUE TO WE PEOPLE ARE BOOKING THE TICKET ONLINE.

                          That time the driver use the WORDS in the bus in front of passenger (ladies are also traveled in that bus) on that time is not at all possible to accept.

                          Then finally we took a cab from there & we reach home...........
                          GOOD service keep it up. In my life what ever reason I will NOT RECOMMEND this travels for any one even during emergency also.

                            I booked a bus tickets online through http://redbus.in from cuddalore to Chennai for my brother (travel date: 2/9/2011-Yesterday). The service provider was Universal travels. Bus departure time was 6.30PM as it is mentioned in the ticket. But he went to the travels place at 6.15 PM itself. Travel peoples claimed that bus went at 6.00PM itself which is wrong. They have asked him to board another bus and they assured him that they will change the bus from another place. At night 11 or 11.30 PM he got his actual bus. When he entered inside the bus, he found that the seat reserved on his name already given to some other person. When he asked there was no response from bus person and they asked him to travel near bus driver. I have booked sleeper berth in that bus for him. He lost his sleep and peace. He spoke to bus person about his seat. But he was not issued my reserved seat. He was helpless at that time. They should be banned from running bus service. Attached ticket print screen for you kind reference. Sir, Pls help me what to do here.

                              I traveled from Cuddalore to Ernakulam by bus no PY-02-J 1879 o[censored]niversal travels on[protected] and I had a sleeper bearth B7.

                              Ticket was booked online.

                              After boarding the bus I was told that the bus will have to be changed at Coimbatore which was not informed at the time of booking.I could understand from other passengers that none of them were informed about this at the time of booking.

                              This resulted in a delay of 30 minutes at Coimbatore waiting for the connecting bus which was coming from elsewhere and instead of bearth only seats were available. Moreover, everyone had to be adjusted in the available seats as there were passengers already traveling. This resulted in total confusion and unpleasant situation with shouting etc. Later i understood that Universal travels is doing this everyday.

                              Further, the condition of the bus was not at all suitable for long distance travel. The bus did not have proper suspension and even in good highway there were severe jerks & vibration inside. Also, the bus was producing lot of noise.

                              All this after paying the price for luxury travel at Rs. 680.00 from Cuddalore to Ernakulam.

                                We booked a ticket from chennai to thiruthooraipondi in universal travels through redbus. We(myself,wife and 2 yr old son) were booked a sleeper seat and when we boarded we found that the seat was fully wet and we requested to change the seat. but their response is very bad. Lastly the cleaner provided a dirt cardboard and the fully dirt screen. With the 2 yr old son we travelled a very worst travelling experience. On the same trip, in tiruvarur, when the bus stopped we get down for a nature call, at that time the bus left without us and after that we reached through town bus. Request you to never travel through UNIVERSAL TRAVELS.

                                  This was a very bad experience with Universal travels Chennai. These people are irresponsible and really do not care about their customers. THIS IS THE NIGHTMARE EXPERIANCE THAT WE FACED ON DEC 4, 2011 BY ALL THE PASSENGERS TRAVELING FROM VELANKANNI TO CHENNAI.

                                  We were waiting for the Bus at Velankanni on Dec 4, 2011 at 8:30 pm and was told that the bus had a breakdown and would arrive by 9pm then time started ticking and till 10:30pm there was no bus and as an alternative all the Chennai passanger were packed in the Bangalore bus at 10:30pm and was told that they would be arranging for the bus at Nagapattinam. However that was a complete LIE and we were dropped at Karaikal @ 11:30pm. There was no bus we were told that the bus will be arranged in 10min and the bus is comming from their yard in Karaikal ever after 30 mins there was no bus. The Universal agent on the the ground started giving excuse that there is a truck in front of the BUS hence they were unable to move the bus (THIS WAS ALL ). Till 1:45 am (Dec 5, 2011) there was no bus at sight. Then they said that a A/C bus has been arranged and has aleady left to pick us up OK FINNALY WE HAD THE BUS.

                                  PEOPLE GOT ON TO THE AC BUS and THERE WAS A TREAT WAITING FOR US FROM UNIVERSAL GUYS the AC was not working by the time all the co-ordinator of the UNIVERSAL BUS at the site just fled from the site and we were left at the mercy of the Bus Driver in that COLD and STINKY BUS STAND WITH MOSQUITOS for 3 HRS. If someone would not have called the cops this bus driver would have also fled with the bus and we would have just been strangled there.

                                  THE PAIN THAT UNIVERSAL TRAVEL WANTED TO GIVE US (CUSTOMER) IS TILL NOT COMPLETE. THE BUS (SO CALLED AC BUS) THE AC IN THE BUS WAS NOT WORKING AND THE MACHANIC WAS ARRANGED AND HE FIXED IT BUT DURING THE ENTIRE TRAVEL THE AC WAS NOT WORKING. WE WERE SUFFUCATED AND THERE WAS NO VENTILATION .

                                  THE PAIN CONTINUES ...........THE BUS ALSO DID NOT HAVE SUSPENSION.... THE WINDOWS CURTINS ROD BROKEN AND FALLING ON PEOPLE THE ENTIRE JOURNEY. THE BUS WAS JUST LIKE A BOUNCING BALL AND WE INSIDE THAT BALL THE ENTIRE 9 HOUR OF JOURNEY... MY HEAD COULD TOUCH THE CEILING WITH THE BOUNCE EVEN WHEN THE BUS WAS ON ECR ROAD THE BUS USED TO BOUNCE. THE PEOPLE SITTING AT THE 3 ROW OF THE BUS COULD ALSO FEEL THE BOUNCE AND IT WAS VERY BAD.

                                  THERE WERE ELDERLY PEOPLE ON THE BUS I HAD MY FAMILY WIFE, 3 YRS OLD DAUGHTR AND 7 YEAR OLD SON... THEY WERE SO SCARED THE ENTIRE BUS RIDE AS WE GOT THE SEAT AT END OF THE BUS. THEN I MANAGED TO GET 2 SEAT IN THE FRONT ROW BUT NO USE. IT WAS STILL BOUNCING AND AS THERE WAS NO AC AND VENTILATION IT WAS WORSE.

                                  I NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF A EXPERINCE IN MY LIFE. REALLY WE FELT LIKE JUST BREAKING THIS BUS DOWN. FOR ME AND ALL THE TRAVELLER ON THAT UNIVERSAL TRAVEL WAS A NIGHTMARE . NEXT DAY MORNING OUR BODY STARTED PAINING LIKE HELL DUE TO TRAVEL IN THAT BUS THAT NIGHT. ALL THIS WAS COURTESY UNIVERSAL TRAVELS.

                                  WE ALL WOULD WANT THE MONEY REFUNDED WITH 200% INTEREST ON THIS FOR THE PAIN THAT UNIVERSAL TRAVELS HAVE GIVEN US.

Very Very worst service provider for travels company.Universal travels employees like Driver & Booking agencies keep an Very Worst Mentality People. Particularly Travelling time not keep. Driver & Cleaner's are drinking brandy in travailing time.... Universal travels Stupid Service provider...So people pls book & journey in other service provider..

                                      On 20th of June we have booked tickets in Universal travels for 8 people for my family from vellankanni to Chennai,

                                      while coming the driver was running the bus very very fast as me and the co passengers told him twice thrice to go slow , where he used busing language with us at last at 3.00am at nearby pims hospital ponducheerry the driver rushed into trees and the bus got fall down into trees, we saved ourself's , if it gone into any water we would have died, 70% of the people got injured, in my family 5 people got injured , we went to pims hospital got admitted you check the records in pims name with laxmi and lavanya, madhu, naveen, rajini, and three children were safe by god grace, morning i went to collect the laguage , police people told thast driver is in very druken, so the accident happen, how can the universal people hire such kind of people to drive and play with the people life its very horrible, i called universal people to ask about it i asked them just to refund the amount of bus fares , they using abusing language and disconnecting the calls, i never forget this incident in my life, please take severe action on them , seaze the universal travels becoz they playing with people's life,

                                      Travels in Chennai — Unreasonable ticket prices during festival season

                                      Travels at Koyambedu in Chennai sell tickets at unreasonable prices of double the normal amount during festival season for special buses from Chennai to other places in Tamil Nadu. These are extra buses operated during festival season and I doubt these buses would even have the permit for their routes to various places in the state. These buses add to the extra traffic during festivals within the state. I request the authorities concerned to look seriously into this matter and take adequate measures as this would help millions of passengers in the state to travel comfortably.

                                      I totally agree me too had the same experience in a universal bus with a single driver travelling from nagercoil to chennai.The driver slept off and rammed a lorry near tindivanam at five thirty on 31-10-11.Inspite paying 1100 for one ticket against a fare of 700 the service was pathetic and the travel administration are only keen upon cashing on the festival rush by launching special service and not proving proper service.

                                      My friend booked the ticket to chennai from chidambaram. The bus departed from vedaranyam at 8.30 and it reached chidambaram by 12.30am. when i boarded the bus i seen 3 kids (age 2 to 5) where there and also old aged people also there. My seat no is 41 and nearby me two aged couples were sitting. We just had a small talk they were got into bus on vaidheswaran kovil nearby sirkali and they were going to chennai. From where bus started the driver drove the bus very rashly. When we asked the driver to drive slow he responded very harshly. Due to his harsh driving that grand ma didnt slept because she was scared. As she afraid the bus got into accident nearby kollam at 4.30am. Bus fully upset down driver and cleaner ran away people screamed because none is there to help to get them out. I was trying to broke the rear glass but a man who drove TATA Ace came down and broke the and helped the people to get them out and with god grace none got severe injuries.

                                      likewise before three months after diwali holidays i was booked ticket on the universal bus from chidambaram to Bangalore. that day was heavy rainy for the first time in life time i saw the rain which raining inside the bus because bus condition was like that.

                                      I request all of the people not to choose "UNIVERSAL TRAVELS" at any cost for traveling i[censored] have wish to live a long life.

                                      Its true worst Universal travels is a worst travels. Last week 22nd May 2012 me, my 2 kids (age 10 & 2) and my brother traveled in Universal Chennai to Thiruthuraipoondi bus boarded at 9.45 in Koyamedu. Rash driving driver tried to over take a lorry and hit it. The lorry rolled down the the front portion of the bus was smashed where bus cleaner was severely injured, driver was missing by the time we got out of the bus. We were helped to come out of the bus by a local bus driver who passed that way. A Person who checked our tickets when we board the bus told the police that he was just a passenger just to help the travels person he checked it and flew away from the scene.Many passengers were sent in the ambulance. This useless travels didn't have the courtesy to arrange an alternate for the passengers to go. Moreover when I called them and asked for it very rudely in Koyamedu office a man answered "We cant arrange all this for you if you want take legal action against us we don't mind". Is this the way they response to a passenger? Human life is so cheap for them. They are not fit to run the travels. I am going to post it in FB too about them. Let us join together to put an end to this killer "UNIVERSAL TRAVELS"

                                      I am C T Joseph from Kolkata .I had a wow to visit vellankanni after my son's ISC exams .So on 22nd of march 2013 i flew from Kolkata to chennai in the late night flight and landed at Chennai airport at 11.15 pm and the bus to my misfortune i had booked in the Universal travels.he was supposed to pick us at Gindi subway and that was the last pickup point .I along with my wife and son some how rushed to the pickup point from the airport and waited for the Volvo bus that i had booked so that v can reach in comfort.The bus arrived from but to my dismay the bus cam from Koyamedu. till there without AC not working and the driver and the conductor had no responsiblilty and was saying further in 15 Kms .some one will come to repair the AC.But when i asked why did he start the bus at all from Koyamedu when he knew the AC was not working .His reply was so shoking he says go and talk in the office .And the all of a sudden he stopped an ongoing bus to o[censored]niversal and told just get on that bus i[censored] need to reach Vellankanni .With no other way in that part of the night had to get on to a dirty bus after paying for a VOLVO .
                                      Unfortunate it was i had bookd my return bus ticket also in the UNiversal travels and had to travel back to chennai in the same dirty bus .And this time in vellankanni bus stand the travels office told me that in 30 Kms the bus will be changed .
                                      At last we had to travel in the same dirty bus .

                                      I don't see any point in placing complaints in consumer complaints forum.the travel has been like this forever and nobody took any action. I have no words to explain how pathetic it is to see that not one person in the country is taking action against culprits like them. This travels should be banned totally.

                                        Hi Sir/Madam,

                                        I booked 3 bus tickets online through http://www.travelyarri.com from Pondicherry to Chennai (travel date: 23/4/2011. The service provider was Universal travels.
                                        When i boarded the bus with my family (my wife and my brother), we found that our seat has been given to someone else. When i checked with the conductor of the bus, he and his friend were not behaving properly with me and i found myself helpless in a new place.
                                        So after sometime, finally i boarded a cab from Pondicherry (although i booked the bus tickets in advance worth Rs 900) and reached my home.

                                        When i enquired about the refund of the money for bus tickets by calling the travelyarri.com agents, they were like the service provider is responsible for refunding the money, and when i enquired with the service providers they were telling me to contact travelyarri agents for the cancellation of the tickets. So i was helpless and stuck between travelyarri and Universal Travels.

                                        Dear Sir/Mam,

                                        15th April 2012 morning. My parents, My Grandmother, My Sister, Brother in Law and My Nephew (11 months old baby) had boarded the bus from Vailankanni by 5:00 am. There were 2 people sitting in the seats allocated for us. When asked the same with the agent he replies you have to check with the Universal travel Drivers only, When checking with them they reply these seats are allocated for those two passengers till Karaikal and then only you can sit in that. When confronted this is not fair. The driver and cleaner had said if you want to come you come or leave.

                                        When requested for stopping the bus for getting milk for the 11 year old baby, Grandmother and Father (both senior citizens and sugar patients) they did not stop the bus and replied stating the bus has to go for the 1:30 return trip from Chennai. hence they will not but they had stopped at unwanted places for change of Bus Driver and picking up passengers at almost 17 places in-between. They stopped the bus at Karaikal around 10 am for 10 mins only in the time we had to rush to get food and milk and the driver and cleaner had been using foul language to scold my Parents.

                                        When asked aren't they ashamed of their behavior when getting down from the bus at Koyembedu. They used a very offensive and abusive language against my parents and when my brother law confronted them two of them (cleaner and additional driver) had physically assaulted my brother in law tore his pocket, cut of his gold chain. while the driver who was driving the vehicle had got down and took a stone to throw at him in front of all the public. The auto drivers in the stand had to intervene and these guys got into their bus and left asking come inside and see what we will do to you.

                                        The issue was taken to the Universal Office in Koyembedu where the guys in the office just inquired and after narrating what had happened the cleaner started refusing and started telling without respect to elders that you scolded so only we used abusive language and the drivers had fled the scene by then. There was no action and the adamant cleaner refused to apologize, still used abusive language in front of the office guys. The Office Guys asked to close the issue and go.

                                        I dont see an end to it. They will continue this nasty business unless they are held in court for the following

                                        1. Causing Emotional Distress to passengers
                                        2. Threat to Public Life
                                        3. Public Nuisance
                                        4. Damages on Personal Front

                                        They should pay damages for the distress caused and owe a public apology for their behavior

                                        I had already had a problem earlier once when i was travelling from Vailankanni - 1 and half years back. There were two buses which broke down near Karaikal. They did not bring in replacement buses and left 72 passengers stranded at Karaikal Depo around 12:30 am. Where the next bus to Pondichery also was only at 5:00 am. They returned only 50% of the money then.

                                        Universal travels are blood suckers and arrogant guys. I would wish to tell every one. Don't ever travel in it. They are worst cheaters in the Transportation Industry.

                                        If anyone who wants to sue these arrogant guys contact me @ [protected]@gmail.com. I can see that the above two are not the only instances and there are many more. If you have experienced distress with them pls comment below. Together we can bring their arrogance down.

                                        I still have two persons contact who were affected with me when I traveled, They also can verify their arrogant and in-disciplined behavior.

                                        This is my bitter experience with Universel Travels:
                                        I booked two tickets through their Pondicherry agents. one for me and my wife from Tirunelveli to Pondicherry (seat No.s 19 & 20) and other for my son from Tirunelveli to Chennai (seat No. 21) . Both the tickets were booked on[protected] and the journey date was[protected]. When we went to their Tirunelveli office on[protected] night for boarding the bus, we were shocked to hear that the seat no.s 19 & 20 were allotted to some other passengers from Nagercoil to Trichy, booked on the previous date of journey, i.e. 6 days later then us. We were offered seats 45 & 46, in the last row. Through my son's seat was confirmed, it was shown as if it were booked from Cuddalore (though we booked booked both the tickets from Pondicherry ). They said that Pondicherry agents are not connected with Universel people and also scolded us as cheaters and fraudulent people. When I contacted their Pondicherry agents, through whom we booked the tickets, they told that since Tirunelveli agents lost their commission, they behaved like this.

                                        The bus we traveled was Volvo multi axil . But if we would have a pleasant journey if we traveled in a tractor instead from Tirunelveli to Pondicherry. The engine heat directly affected us. No AC for back rows. A lot of jerks and vibrations even in the four lane road.

                                        They do not deserve any apology. they should be banned from running any travel service.

                                        I Booked the ticket from nagapatinam to chennai(Night Travel). The Bus timing mentioned in E-ticket was @ 10:50 PM.Till 11:00, their was no sign of bus arrival.Then Tuticorin bus arrived @ 11:05. The person who is in charge for universal travel in nagapatinam asked me to board in this bus, since the chennai bus is waiting in velakani. Around 11 : 40, reached velakani and i inquired about the chennai bus.The person who is responsible for universal travel in velakani, said the chennai bus already left.It was shocking. When i boarded from nagapatinam, the person responsible in this branch said, i have informed in velakani branch and the bus is waiting. Totally frusated, with me another one guy from north side of india also started to asking question.then the person responsible for universal velakani, called the chennai bus driver to stop in the middle.Then me and the north indian guy boarded the bus from velakani to some place, where the chennai bus was waiting. when we saw the bus, we got angry again.We booked VolVo multi axle, but the bus standing was sleeper non ac. Totally useless bus service i ever met.
                                        Hi, I got a very bad experience ystdy (aug 17). I booked tickets in universal travels from velankanni to coimbatore. Bus type is volvo multi axle and the departure time is 10 pm from velankanni, but the guy who is in velankanni told tat bus in on the way and will come at 10:30 pm, time passed away and it was almost 11 pm, some other people who booked for the same bus started asking him what happen to the bus and he casually told that bus was breakdown. He did not respond properly and we asked for refund, he refused and asked us to get the money where I booked. I booked for volvo, but he arranged a cab at night 1 am (aug 18). Is this is fair?

                                        People in velankanni told this is the same prob with this universal bus. They r very bruttal and talking bad words in front of a lot ladies. They r not fit for this.
