Activation of Caller Tune without Request
Hi,

My father has a vodafone mobile connection. He got a message that there is a lucky offer in the month of July . So, he checked the message and called the no. provided in the message to check what offer he had. Then suddenly the caller tune got activated and some Rs.40 got deducted. Then he called the customer care and they arrogantly told him that he himself had activated the caller tune. Then he enquired how to deactivate it and did as they instructed. But the caller tune did not get deactivated. But in August , he got a message again saying that his caller tune is going to be renewed on 27th August and the amount- Rs.40 was again deducted
Mobile No : [protected]. from his account. When asked the customer care they said they will refund the amount. But till now he has not got the refund.
This is the fouth time he is facing this issue. The amunt was not refunded previously also though the customer service executives say that it will berefunded.

Please help me out in resolving the issue.

Vodafone — Unwanted caller tunes

I heard my phone ringing picked it up and clicked. On hearing music I cancelled and Lo! I get message after message that a caller tune activation request has been sent. Then I am asked about my tune to be used. THen the best! I get a tune I have never heard of, next time my colleagues (I am a teacher) call they will get a shock of their life! My account gets a minus 30 and I am left with a balance of -4! Why ? Am I that depressed that knowing I do not have enough balance I activate tunes?

I requested a complete withdrawal and an immediate reimbursement of my money.

Vodafone — unwanted caller tune without request

I am using post paid vodafone since 3 years. Recently they have activated caller tune in my phone. When I asked about it to customer care ( 111 ), he replied me that YOU MUST HAVE PRESSED SOME BUTTON ON YOUR PHONE during making call to somebody. See, now we cant press any button of OUR personal instrument without permission of vodafone ! ! And worst still to come, they are not deactivate that unwanted service after formal request on sms.
This sofesticatd kind of loot of customer must stopped, otherwise vodafone must have to face legal battle.

Hi,

This is the first time in 7 yrs i am frustrated with the service of vodafone. I have made a selection of song for the Caller tune which to be activated on my number but the other song has been activated. After confirming from the CCE they says that the song which i have selected will be activated as well as they confirm the song too but, atlast other song is activated called up again in Customer care for the request to change it they say the procidure which will charge me again 15rs more why should i pay for their mistake.

Vodafone — complaint regarding unwanted caller tune activation

Hi,
Its simply just irritating to see that without my request the callertune has been activated in my vodafone prepaid number suddenly and they cut Rs 15 from my balance. being a doctor, its also very much disturbing to get the promotional calls or sms in every moinute. After trying several hours, i could not connect the customer care service. I really have no idea why such cheatings are done with customers. Similarly, the DND service is another nuisance. It never gets activated.
I am totally dissatisfied with Vodafone service. Just because I don't want to change my number I want to continue using their service, otherwise I will immediately throw away this SIM card and get a new connection from a better carrier, preferably Airtel or BSNL.
Expect prompt action regarding this complaint.

Vodafone cell — Caller tune activation

My mobile no.is [protected].On 29/07/2011 at 08.19 am I shocked when I had received a SMS from Vodafone that "Your request for caller tune activation has been received and will be processed within 4 hours." and Rs.45/- immediately deducted from my account.But actually I do not make any request for caller tune.
At 8.58 am caller tune set for 90 days and 12.37 pm sms received for activation charge for CRBT service. This type of happening done time to time from the company and no any action taken by customer care.Why should I bear such type of loss time to time?Where I go for the pledge?
It occurs mentaly and monetry loss.So pl.look into the complain and arrange for the refund.

    I am Ajay yadav using my vodafone no.([protected]) since last one and half year. And using this voda no. very genuinely and want to continue with this. But i am not happy with the bill of this month generated by Vodafone, As i am using Vodafone Mobile Pack and used net still Vodafone charged me for using Vodafone LIVE. First of all how would a customer know that they are charging from which APN they activated Vodafone Mobile Connect as i requested and activated Vodafone Live Promotionally w/o any monthly rental w/o informing me and while i access net they charged from vodafone line while i had Net plan and when i called/Visited to voda store even they did not inform me about that when bill got generated i come to know about the actual charges and then i mailed then they people informed me that chares are of Vodafone Live service,
    How would a customer know that from which APN they are charging if company not informing to cust. and i have paid for net pach then why i will pay extra for usage .they people have charged me very smartly w/o informing me for that and barred my services.In bill its showing Vodafone Live usage and charged, what is this vodafone live, i haven't used that if i am having net pack then why should i use vodafone live instead of internet.

    Plz help me in this matter if possible i will wait for reply sir.

      Honourable Forum Members,

      My name is Varun Pathak. i have to raise a complaint against vodafone mobile provider as they have Extremely Overcharged me for My Cell Phone usage (Cell # [protected]) with out notifying me the changes done to my plan and also when i Disputed the issue with them they are simply denying the fault at their end.
      Making the Long Story shorter. I have been a Loyal customer of vodafone For past 4 years and i am using the post paid connection from them. till month of may every thing was working fine and i had no issues with them but in month of may on 14th may i called up vodafone customer care and asked for the various plan on 3G as i boought a new cell phone that supported 3G service . so the rep gave me all the information about their 3G plan. at that point of time i was running on my 2G gprs plan of RS.99/month for 2GB data usage. So i confirmed with the call center Rep of Vodafone that will there be any changes in my GPRS plan.He "CONFIDENTLY" said that there will be no changes , i Can add another Plan of 3G and i can switch my 2G and 3G settings on my cell phone to use them respectively. in 14 days I was dissatisfied from the 3G service so i called again on 31st may to deactivate my plan. so again rep gave me the instructions how to cancel the 3G service, BUT NOWHERE HE MENTIONED THAT MY 2G PLAN WAS DEACTIVATED .ALSO I GOT A CONFIRMATION ON BOTH THE TIMES WHEN MY 3G SERVICE WAS ACTIVATED AND WHEN IT WAS DEACTIVATED. I NEVER RECIEVED THE MEAAGE THAT MY GPRS PLAN WAS CANCELLED AND NO ONE CALLED ME TO NOTIFY THAT MY PLAN WAS CANCELLED.

      in month of june by end of the month i got a message (as i usualy get every month for my bill). that my bill was RS.13256. THIS WAS SHOCKING TO ME and i rushed to check my itemized bill summary and i was shocked to see that my DATA usage they Showed was RS.11,022.

      Now I disputed it first to vodafone Call Centre and VOdafone Gallery and they said that the amount was valid and i have to pay. Further more i Disputed it to Vodafone Nodal Desk and talked to Atish Shetty and his Supervisor Kalpana. where Kaplana accepted that the fault was on vodafone's end and she apologized me for false billing. also she said that she has no authority o do the reversal of sucha huge amount. so she escalated to her manager. i waited for 2 week to hear from nodal desk but there was no response from them

      So finally I went to Nodal Office at andheri where again i talked to Nodal Officer Parikshit Rao and he said that he studied my case but they did not found any call recording made by me .they can only see their agents documentation that he talked to me and acording to PArikshit He CLAIMS THAT THE INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED TO ME... "WHICH IS FALSE". and he said that we cant revert it.

      I Asked him to let me talk to The Nodal Desk Head Ms. ZILLA VAZ. he did not allowed me to talk and said whatever action you want to take you can go ahead.


      NOW THIS IS A FRAUD TO ME AND VODAFONE IS CHEATING ON ME . THEY HAVE BARRED MY OUTGOING SERVICER AND SOON WSILL BE BAIRRING MY INCOMMING SERVICES AS WELL..

      Please take this to vodafone and also keep me in loop...so that i can discuss everything happenned..

      please help me. Now i can rely only on law.

      i completely agree with the complaint above, even i have suffered a similar case with Vodafone !

      they are goons, i dumped them and switched to IDEA !

      Vodafone is a BIG FRAUD, they have even duped the Indian Govt. of tax exempt of Rs. 18, 000crores !

        I want to port my number from Idea(prepaid) to Vodafone(postpaid) . For that I had submitted all the required documents along with unique port number with vodafone 12 days ago. But even after 12 days, I have not received any communication from vodafone and I am still using Idea. I regard Vodafone as a company with superior services. I expected a smooth transition in a much shorter time. Please help me to migrate from Idea to Vodafone as soon as possible.

          I am receiving at least 10-15 unwanted advertising messages daily. I am bugged by T, TD, TM, AM, TA groups of message which are causing me a lot of trouble. Please stop all those services.           Whenever I go out of Mumbai, I get frequent SMS i.e. one SMS per minutes from Channel 50.
          I complained to Vodafone 111, but no use and it is very irritating and my mobile phone also stopped working after 10-15 such SMS. Again I have to switch off the phone and switch on again. If it continuous I would like to change my mobile provider from Vodafone to any best provider.

              With reference to the above said complaint , Basically myself i am Manjunatha prasad a vodaphone user from last 6 years
              ( [protected]) and last year I have taken one more add on connection to my existing number ([protected]. )
              But the new add on connection number was used by somebody and the same is allocated by Videophone without proper in-formations. Now i am getting wrong calls from old numbers users and Disturbing my family peace.

              The same is already spoken with Videophone customer care and They are ( Videophone ) asking us to restrict those number calls with additional payments of Rs 90/ Month.

              I am not interested to bare this unnecessary videophone charges without my mistake .

              I Request you to look into the same and need full early actions.

                Despite the activation of DND, I am still receiving numerous calls/sms throughout the day. What kind of irresponsible behavior is this ? VODAFONE SUCKS !!!
                I also sent details o[censored]nsolicited sms to 1909 on the same day but it refuses to process the information on grounds that TRAI only accept calls/sms in last 3 days (i've always sent the complaint within 3 days).
                Vodafone people called me 2-3 times in past 3 days saying that DND has been activated. Still calls and SMS keep on coming. REALLY PATHETIC.....NEVER SEEN SUCH A PATHETIC COMPANY WHICH DOESN"T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ITS CONSUMERS.
                I think vodafone can't do anything. Now i've to do something.

                I am fed up of writing to vodafone so many times. It seems they just don't care.

                  i have using vodafone mobile post paid service my cell number is [protected], and i have request 98rs rental gprs plan for activation as on date 8/8/2012, then 12/08/2012 i have send request for decativate the 98rs gprs plan and pls convert the 98rs gprs paln to 199rs gprs plan.then my request is accept 13/08/2012 decativation but then i will us the gprs but 20/08/2012 my unbilled amout is 4781.21, then i will talk with custmer care about my bill he says that this bill is generate 98rs gprs plan.and ur 198gprs plan is activate 18/08/2012.but when i send my request to custmer care for deactivate and convert that time vodafone custmer care is not give me details information to me about the billing cycle.so this is not my mistake this mistake is vodafone mobile serviceses, so i cant paid the bill amount because vodafone custmer care services is not giving right information to the custmer.pls send me the replay to my mail addresss. and thanks, mail id : [protected]@rediffmail.com

Please maintain a minimum balance of Rs.26 at the time of placing the request. The call details will be sent to your registered address within 15 days post necessary validation. Kindly note that the SMS has to be sent from the number for which you would require the call history.

[protected] last three years approx. but they have changed my plan without infomation so i was disagree form this service so i did not make my due subscription and they stoped the sevices and disconnectd my number but after one year now the bill recovery department calling to my friends asking my no. and name and talking with abusive language so i don't like this mis behaviour so here i am warning the bill recovery deparmtment don''t do this other wise i have to take help of media news chennel because they are doing this on the behalf of vodaphone. i am ready to make the payment for which bill i have really used because i want full and final settlement so do the need full i hope now i will get the possitive response from you
                  the company is not sending me bill, always before10 days of due date of bill, call center executives ring me and ask me when m paying bill. when i ask about my bill copy they say it has benn sent.

                  agent: yes (he called one of his supervisor to make this confirmation)

                  me: what about movie tickets and pizza coupons?
                  agent: we dont offer any kind of service like this...the agent called you was misleading to you

                  agent: your itemised bill service is for 3 months free
                  me: but they told me its free for lifetime
                  agent: no not at all we dont have any such scheme

                  i got that the agent called me and told lie just to make his sale..

                  that was the first part of their fraud..

                  than on 12-june-2011 i recived a message from their side that " ur caller tune has been activated charges rs 30 song selection rs 15"... i never made any reqeust for any kind of service like this...i deactivated the caller tune..

                  than i told her about their marketing department ..hoe they people offer various FAKE add ons and offers for their sale..

But Mr. Deepak deactivated on the same day i.e 14.06.13, due to which there is error in my Bill which has come of Rs5765. which is not correct. I did not get any confirmation call regarding this from Vodafone that they are going to deactivate my plan. I am not able to make any call for the past 10 days.                   I got a bill of Rs1325.96 which include the internet charges of that four days(15 to 19).                     i have a Vodafone connection. in a recent order from the govt. of India on banning of bulk sms-s it is clearly stated that a customer cannot send more than 5 sms in one go(as read in the newspapers and seen in news channels) for 15 days.. but Vodafone and some other companies have made it that we cannot send more than 5 sms IN THE WHOLE DAY... this is ridiculous and against the order. we r having great inconvenience. general public is suffering because the order was a different one and implementation was a different one. i think this matter should be looked into. thank you.

                        Vodafone — No response from Customer care..

                        I am using vadafone number [protected] which is in the name of Sunil.

                        One month back customer care called me and told about the 52 pack and forced me to activate it.
                        After one month 52 pack got deactivated. When I called CC they informed me to go to a outlet and recharge for 52. It’s nonsense. Why I have to go to outlet and recharge every month when I am maintaining good balance. Why it can’t be deducted from my account?

                        I called CC and told them to deduct from my account. Ever after two day it was not done. I was fed up with the customer care and told them to cancel the request. Then I activated 49 pack. Money got deducted.

                        After one day again 52 got deducted and that plan was activated. Even after repeated reminders Customer care dint respond properly and told me to wait for 2 days for the refund of 52 rupees. They even told me that 49 pack will be activated once 52 is deactivated it dint happen.

                        Now I don’t have any pack and I m loosing 1 rupees for sms.
                        vodafone is not a good company in services...

                          I was using the Blackberry services in this area for last 7-8 months without any problem . However the problem started 2-3 days back. I have called the customer care several times and they just give me a monotonous answer that we are sending you a service book and your problem will be rectified on restart of phone after 15 mins . I am fed up of thier false assurance and i am sure that its a network specific problem and not a service book related issue as otherwise i would have got this problem throughout nagpur.

                          The vodafone customer care is pathetic and they have no one to understand and address to this matter.

                          My name is Praveen and a postpaid user with blackberry servcies enables. I have been using blackberry services since 2 years and i had some glitches issues in between and every time i had to go touch base with the customer service and then get the issue sorted out. Again now i am facing the same issue and without my notice or request the CSR mentions that my GPRS has been deactivated. I have been talking to N number of people and the pain is explaining each and everybody what is the issue am facing.
                          Its been 4 days my services are not active and today again i call the customer service to learn that they will log the comlaint today and my the services will be activated tomorrow.

                          Is this the kind of service vodafone provides?
                          I doubt if vodafone has a automated system to log a complain and close the issue.....

                          I was more happy with the services provided by HUTCH.
                          If this issue is not solved within a day, then i have decided to cancel my connection and go with another service provider.

                          FYI....I have been a Vodafone customer from past 12yrs.

                          They could not activate my black berry service even after assuring me 12 times!! It took three days for them where as it should have been four hours! this was a few months back and again the trend of the customer care not able to do anything has started.... lets see this time how many days do they take!! Already made six calls today! people spoken to :: Mina Sulchand Shinde, Ravi Raj, Chirag Patel, Sumit (last name unknonwn), two supervisors!! and every time I speak to them....... I get a message from them ::: Dear customer to know more about the latest products / services and special offers dial 121. this message was sent to to at 1:00 am

                          I have bought a blackberry curve which now comes with a year of bbm free...and i want net activated on my phone....but there is no such recharge for only internet for blackberry it comes with the bbm only...what should i do now?
                          I have followed the new advertisement of Vodafone where they would be giving free BBM (black berry messenger) services for one year on selected Blackberry handsets. I bought a new 8520 curve blackberry (8520 is under the list of selected handsets where they were giving this service) and inserted my vodafone sim 9 days back. Till date BBM services have not been activated. The call centre executives are highly unprofessional and disconnect the phone without talking completely. They just keep delaying the things. 5 days back, I formally asked them to give me a Service Req Number and a turnaround time. They give me a num:[protected] and 24 hours time. And till date, there is no resolution. I have e-mailed also but they just keep delaying the things by asking for more and more information. Meanwhile, their call centre exec asked me to activate a data plan of 95/- so that i can access internet. Now they are saying that since i have activated a data plan, so they cant provide free BBM services. Sometimes, their call centre asks me to just go to vodafone store since they cant help me from backend. Last time when I called them, call centre exec asked me to wait for more time and keep waiting. When I asked him to connect to a senior, he disconnected the call. Pls help.
                          Dear Sir,

                          Has there been any progress in the matter. The problem continues and i am unable to use the BB services for approx 10 days at my work location.

                            This email is to highlight and lodge a complaint against my New Vodafone Data Stick K3770 - Postpaid Number: - [protected], Purchased dated - 13th Aug, from Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt. Ltd. Account Holder's name - Deepen G Patel.

                            Summary about my connection: -
                            1 - I was requiring urgent connection at my reside location - A-504, Trimurti Paradise, Landmark - Gokul Diary, Plot - 16, Sector - 16, Khandeshwar, Navi Mumbai - 410209. immediately. Phoned on 11th Aug to Vodafone Customer Care 198 and transferred to sales person named - Raza. After having all my queries answered decided to apply for a new connection of Vodafone. Decided to send the executive on Monday 13th Aug to collect the documents and delivering Device and collecting 1650/- amount.

                            2 - Raza - [protected] committed that my connection activation is on a HIGH priority and send it to the process to our Back Office Operations.

                            3 - 14th Aug, Got a document verification call from Back Office Operation team.

                            4 - I was purposely told that, by Tuesday 14th Aug evening my connection will get activated without any issue. Which didn't happened at all. Did constant follow-up but no one has answered by calls neither got any update on my connection.

                            5 - 15th Aug, got Raza's operational manager's Mr. Sunil [protected] contact details from the representative. After infinite calls even he didn't answered my calls till date. Finally sent a text message to letting him know that I am requiring his help. But again no response at all.

                            6 - 16th Aug, the entire day went off but my connection is still not activated. Decided to phone 198. Anand who answered my phone call and conveyed that unfortunately they are not having any updates in their system, due to the connection has not been activated and updated in their database.

                            7 - 17th Aug, still 198 Vodafone Care guys are not aware the reason behind why it is not yet activated.

                            8 - Finally recommended that, I need to visit Vodafone Store to enquire about the same, why it is not being activated? They are not having any updates.

                            Questions to "Zillah V - Nodal Officer Vodafone/Systematic Knowledge Services Pvt. Ltd.," -
                            Q - After being aware that my request is on a high priority to get the connection activated, what are the reasons behind that you guys are taking this much time to get the connection establish?
                            Q - Why I have been committed and assured that, surely connection activation won't take much time?
                            Q - Why there is no follow-up calls or updates about my connection status?
                            Q - Who is responsible for this delay? When my connection will get activate?
                            Q - Why I have being suffered after completing my documentation process, verification call completion, device cost payment, etc., still I am the only one who is doing follow-up from my end, because I have taken the connection? Providers are least bothered about the service?

                            I need my connection activated within a day, coz I can't wait for one more day delay loosing my patience..........

                            Please help me to get this resolved and teach a lesson to Vodafone, so that this suffering should not get repeat to other genuine customers.

                            vodafone data stick — fake proposals

                            Iam having a hard time since the day i bought a vodafone data stick to access the net on my laptop.Well initally i was sold the stick saying that 3G unlimited would be for just 599,later i was told theres no unlimited scheme for 3G as yet.I was giving activation after 2 weeks ,during which i had to go a couple of times to the store and was repeatedly being told that it was a technical error.Finally i got it connected with a horrible speed ,it was point less downloading anything as it kept getting disconnected.I believe they should be a little honest in selling their products,as they keep forcing u to change ur 2G into 3G.

                              Hi,

                              I have been using vodafone prepaid connection from the last 2 years. I got it converted to a postpaid connection. I got a call from customer care, and I was told that I will get 750 mins calling, along with free calling to one vodafone number.

                              Hoping that I will get what was promised to me, I requested the customer care to convert my number to a postpaid one, and I was told that within 2 days, I would be able to get my number (local vodafone number) activated. Then I was told to wait for 72 hours, then another 72 hours, then another 72 hours.
                              Finally I was told that the service is not available on my cell.

                              Now I am trapped, I had paid the security also, also since I got my number converted to postpaid one just now, I can not even go for number portability to get rid of Vodafone.

                              Please look into it, it is a pure harassment on part of Vodafone. If I was promised something, that should have been delivered to me. If that is not so, I wish to get my amount refunded, and should be able to change my provider, without changing the number.

                                I have been using Vodafone mobile services since last 3-4 years. I had earlier registered my cell phone number on centralised Do Not Disturb Registry which was independent of service provider name at thta time. In the event of this registry responsibility being handed over to the service providers, I had again registered my cell phone number on Vodafone DND registry at least couple of months ago. However, after registering on DND of Vodafone, I had started getting offers/services descriptions from unknown number which I had never received earlier. The frequency of such messages has increased in the recent past and it is really annoying to see such messages coming especially after registering on DND registry.

                                It is extremely unprofessional and unethical conduct from Vodafone and I seek reimbursement in material terms for evasion of my peace of mind and trust on these services.

                                My Mobile No. [protected] was registered in DND Service. And I get Confirmation SMS that "The DND Service is Activated in your Vodafone Mobile. But till I get SMS & Calls. I think companies are responsible for disturbance. Now what should I do?

                                I activated a plan on 14th of feb 2012(1 paise per second scehme),by deactivating my previous plan (1 rs for 3 min).But today it is 22nd feb 2012,i feel very disappointed to inform none of my request is processed yet,neither deactivated the plan nor activated the plan which i require.
                                The same plan was requested my me on jan 2012,The same complaint i have with vodafone service provider.
                                I only called twice or thrice regarding it to vodafone crew members durin jan month,but they responded that my service is activated as per requirement,but it was not done.but my money was correctly deducted on time as requested for service during jan as well as feb month
                                Am also a professional,I agree some problems do occur between service provider and customer,i took it in that sense and trusted vodafone service provider and again activated the plan on feb 2012 as mentioned above.
                                This time in between 14th feb to 22nd feb,It would have many times i called 111-vodafone customer care and registered the compalint,but there is still the same response am getting,but my money is deducted for my request,along with am loosing money for calling customer care.Is this something my fait to call vodafone customer care and waste my time and money.Still politely informed them,If you cannot activate that service please refund the money,but that cannot be done it seems.
                                I am shocked to say that till 21st,atleast it is been told that my service is been activated for the money deducted.
                                When i again called on 22nd to inform that nothing is happed yet,am shocked to hear by a vodafone crew member that i have not activated any service it seems,nor your money is been deducted,I asked them to recheck it politely,but she just rejected my call.

                                I have full rights to complaint,since am not getting their service in free.Am paying them for the service i require.
                                What can be done for such issue.

                                  Vodafone — recharge refund

                                  I had done an online mobile recharge on July 12,2011. The recharge failed and I received an sms from Vodafone stating that the amount of Rs.52 will be credited back into my account in 5 working days. Since then I have called their helpline and sent many emails, the last 2 to their Nodal Officer. Both the times I received the reply that my number was not available and that the amount will be credited in 5 working days. I have now sent an email to 'Appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com'. I do not have much hope there hence I am appealing to you.

                                    Recenetly i have bought a new sim card postpaid connection for my mobile from Vodafone. I have been given cell number as [protected]. I paid Rs.300/- as fees for the same. The said simcard was activated next day. After a week i got a call from vodafone saying that i had an outstanding of Rs.1788/- against a cell number which was add on my old cell number [protected] ( this was 3 years back ). I went to vodafone gallery situated at Raghuleela Mall , Poisur Depot, Kandivli west Mumbai 400067. I sorted out the issue and my company - konect infonet pvt ltd ( where i am employed as accountant ) paid the total amount of Rs.1788/- vide cheque no.42124 drawn on HDFC Bank Sundernagar Branch Mumbai. The same cheque got cleared from companies bank account on 14/08/2012. Today i.e. 16/08/2012 around 3pm in the afternoon my cell started displaying SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED... I CALLED UP TO VODAFONE CUSTOMER CARE NO.[protected] MORE THAN 5 TIMES AND SPOKE TO THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THERE IS OUTSTAINDING OF RS.1788/- AGST MY OLD ADD ON CARD. TO MY SURPRISE I DONT KNOW WHY MY CARD HAS BEEN BLOCKED AFTER THE PAYMENT OF RS.1788/- SIR, I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND HELP TO GET MY SIM ACTIVATED.

                                      I have a Vodafone mobile connection , no [protected] as post paid connection. Since the billing was very high i had decided to change this to a pre paid plan and approached Vashi Sector 30 service center of Vodafone on 3/4/2012. The executive on duty Mr Wasim Shaik explained to me that retaining the connection post paid is better and i cam opt for having an upper limit of any amount less than the existing billing limit which will prevent excessive usage/billing. He explained newer plans and features and also reverted Rs 200 charges for late payment and confirmed to me that the billing limit is changed to Rs 300 and i will not be billed more than rs 300 in any case. Also the usage plan is changed to a mutually agreed plan.
                                      Vodafone changed the usage plan but did not bring down the billing limit.
                                      After 2 visits and innumerable calls, the service center persons showed me that the request was registered but due to higher level intervention, the limit was not changed.
                                      I have no information that they did not change the limit till i got the bill.
                                      I had approached the appellate authority and the lady sent me a form to be filled and sent to them for having the billing limit changed.
                                      This type of behaviour to a customer is totally un acceptable and i am requesting the forum to help redressal.
                                      My needs are reversing of excess charges above rs 300 per billing cycle, and re issuing the bill for the limit so that i can clear the dues. I would not like to pay for no mistake of mine.

                                        This is a complaint against VODAFONE SERVICES. I bought a Vodafone SIM the 1st week of March-12 & from the day the SIM was active,I have been getting flash messages on my cellphone for every 20 mins. I called Vodafone customer service (111-tollfress) as well as complained no. 198 (toll free) ,several times to get flash messages De-activated. They guided me through various procedures on my cellphone like looking for My services ,entertainment , media & god knows what all to get these. The customer service is so sick that they could not understand that i don't have any such option in my cellphone they are talking about. I was taken for a ride by so many agents as half of them hung up on me & the rest said that these messages cannot be De-activated. I spoke to Vodafone Office (Ameerpet Hyderabad) & eventually got angry & demanded to speak to a supervisor who promised me that these service messages will be DE-activated within 24hrs. But till now i am being bombarded with these flash messages which flash on my screen every-time (even when my phone is locked). It is consuming all battery charge as it is a flash message & I am forced to keep my phone on charger the entire day. I m fed up of talking to Vodafone as they seem to be enjoying the income from these flash messages but they don't realize how inconvenient it is to the consumer. Please take this matter very very seriously because Vodafone not just has this flash messages service but this service is active in mid night which is ridiculous. They don't even god damn let me sleep in peace. My phone keeps flashing till 2AM in the night. I have spent too much time talking to customer service .Please let me know if there is any other information required.

                                        Let me know your as soon as possible that whether I have to continue my Vodafone connection or not ?? Hence, I am compelled to switch other Telecom services. Now, Vodafone is totally useless for me.
