I had a mobile shop and i used to sell sim cards and recharge also.Vodafone chated me many times. I made the complaint many times but there is no result.The following lines contain all the problems that i faced and reported to vodafone via e-mail followed by the e-mail received from their side:

Dear sir/madam

This is to inform you that two years back i started mobile recharge related work and so i was provided a vodafone e-top sim card(number-[protected]).about 10 months back(november-2008, approx.) I had a calling balance of rs245(approx.) in my account of this number(i.e., [protected]).I was out of town for 3 to 4 days.When i reached back I switched on my vodafone number(which was kept inside a locker), and found only 96 paise left in my account.i made the complaint regarding this at vodafone mini store but they told me that e-top regarding problems are not handled by them and also they told me to contact my distributor and I did so but no solution was provided to me, i kept on complaining but still no solution was given.Several times I called your customer care number(111), but they asked me to call the retailer care number but that service was never activated on my E-top number(I kept on complaining for the activation oh this service also).
later I decided to close the recharge related work and after few months my e-top sim was converted to a normal sim card, other companies also did so but I was ready for that.But now this month my vodafone number is showing "Sim card registration failed".
I asked the distributor regarding this and he told me that they cant do antyhing in this matter and the company has done so.I had rs. 150 approx. as my calling balance and rs 30 approx. as my e-top balance in my account.
I would like to inform you more on that i gave some vodafone recharge coupons(approximate value = Rs.1000/-) for replacement some 10 months back to the distributor but still no refunds have been made.
You always say that you are happy to help but my problems are adding up more and more, now I am feeling helpless, Please do help me.
My fault Is only that i worked as a retailer for vodafone, I am running other company sim cards also and they are running fine.
I can't bear that much loss, Please do something in this regard.Timely response will be appreciated.

Vodafone — Problem Regarding E-topup

I send a e-topup reruest for Rs 350/ for topup of talktime of my daughter's mobile at Noida, from Lucknow on 11th July, 2008.She told me that she got talktime worth Rs.181/ only.When she contacted the customer care at noida she was not given satisfactory reply.Please look into the matter and do the needful
My vodafone no.[protected]. Abruptly today message of simcard registration is cancelled received on mobile and now there is no network coverage. My vodaphone no. is equiped with incoming free up to 2010 but without disclosing reasons the above message have been received. kindly restart the sim card immediately.

1) vodafone has given sales target of Rs.2, 000 pm for dealers of vodaphone RC .
2) i[censored] shut down the vodaphone E-top RC facility, then ur Number comes in normal tariff plan.
3) This type of number has only one year of validity

i[censored] have to go for lifetime Plan then u have to activated it on your number,

    But its fraud call, i was allready aware of it.

    And please done respond to this kind of messages or call.

    This all are fraud and you will not get any thing but chances to loose it more...

    the vodafone centre: a man who didnt say his name called me on 26/11/11...he called from a no which was:[protected]
    ...the guy assured me a gift coupon of 25 lacs that i had own that day...the call came arround BEFORE 8:52 AM ...i guess it was probably in the early morning...then he told me to call a guy called VIJAY KUMAR(guess he is running a fraud gang) who tells me that u have to pay a 10 % of the cash deposit +18 000 buckes ...i was surprissed by his phone no...which was [protected] i gues which was an international call made by me...AND added to this he said that i will receive 3 emails from this company itself...one of the
    1::: cheque of 25 lacs prize
    2::: a six months outgoing call from my phone free to any user having any service providers(airtel, idea, etci lost a balance of total RS 650 total by talking to these guys over the phone..PLEASE tell me what action i have tio take against this unlegal and unauthorised calls...PLEASE HELP ME..

      HI,

      I am residence of kolkata. I was using Vodafone Post Paid connection earlier.
      Since few months I was receiving wrong biling information, so I called up the customer care for inquiry. They kept me transferring the calls form one person to other but none were able to solve my problem. I also told them that if they will not send me correct bill I will not make any payements and close the connection. Then also I never got any reply from them.

      Finally yesterday, after approx 1 year, a man came saying that he has got a court notice(from Lok Adalat) for me. I rushed down to my office to check what is issue is all about, but by that time he left and just left a message that I need to collect the court notice from the local police station.

      I am really worried what is issue is all about. can anyone help me with this.

      Sir,
      I Amarjit Singh r/o of 5K-59 (ff) NIT Faridabad 121001, user of vodafone no. [protected] hereby inform you that the bill for the month of Oct for amount 347.08 is not correct as per my knowledge as the details show a no.[protected] for which it has charged me Rs. 180.00 for a duration of 59.30 and as for as I remember that I have never made a call on this No. since the required digit of the No. are not connect able as this is only 9 digit no. and a STD calls are not of 9 digits. I have already spoken to one Mr. Ravi Kumar at your office at about 10.45 on 17.11.2012 but I was not convinced by his behaviour and the reply it seems he has not been trained, could you please check this no. and correct my bill so that I make the rest of the payment in time

          I am one of the exploited customer of your renowned communication company vodafone.My phone number is [protected], which is a postpaid connection and I bought this number 4 months back from one of the vodafone store at delhi.since then i am paying all my bills before the due date arrives through your low grade website which doesn't work most of the time due to your server problems.I have deposited the security amount in advance to keep my phone services alive all the time.I also registered with your ECS (auto debit through my saving a/c) payment facility for the same as my services will not be barred due to the financial aspects.But still my phone services are barred, my sim is been suspended due to the payment issues, keeping this in my mind i called up your so called very friendly customer care service where all your c.c executives talk to me in a bad manner and doesn't provide a proper reply of why services are barred WITHOUT INTIMATING ME (mind it)(my incoming also barred and sms are also not receiving). So when I came to know that my bill is exceeded my credit limit I have deposited 2000 RS. immediately and than called up again to your customer care to resume my services and they told me that they can't help me out in the issue, neither they forwarded any request niether any complaint regarding the issue is been lodged by your customer care service executives.While in night at 1a.m your c.c exc. gave me a reference number [protected] regarding the lodging of issue and still my services are not resumed.

          Apart from ECS payment i had made the payment of 2000 Rs. to resume my service but still my services are barred, i felt exploited and i lodged a complaint in consumer forum about it that u have barred my services without intimating me and still my services are not resumed after making a payment of 2000 Rs against the bill of 2700 Rs.The complaint ID at consumer forum is 2820/4/2009 dated 27th august 2009.

          Due to your services my company faced a loss of around 5 lacs because I am not able to recieve a international call by our client and my job is in danger because of your services.

          Will you please provide me the answer, why my incoming calls are barred without intimating me and please let your customer care executives behave like a civilize peoples.

          If my services will not be resumed in an hour than your company should be ready for a legal action which is being filed with in a day by our lawyers.
          This problem of barring calls is repeated in past also 3 times on the same number and this is 4th time this is done to me.

          Waiting for your urgent, positive and fruitful reply.Look into the matter and let me know what is my fault and where i have done wrong with vodafone is my fault is that i have trusted you more than other service providers.

            मेरा नाम आशीष कुमार त्यागी है और मै शुगर मिल मे नोकरी करता हूँ तथा काफी लम्बे समय से वोडाफोन नंबर ९७१९०३६३६३ का इस्तेमाल कर रहा हूँ, मेरा प्लान २५० फुल वेलु है जिसके साथ ४९ रूपये का एक प्रोमो भी एक्टिवेट है मै अपने फोन की लिमिट बढ़वाने के लिए काफी लम्बे समय से कोशिश कर रहा हूँ जब भी कभी मेरे पास वोडाफोन ऑफिस से फोन आता है तो ज्यादातर मै अपने फोन की काल लिमिट बढ़वाने के लिए कहता हूँ और जैसा कि जब मै ०४/०७/२००९ को शाम लगभग ५.३० बजे आपके वोडाफोन ऑफिस मेरठ(मेरठसी सी एस युनिवेर्सिटी के सामने) भी गया था तो मुझसे लिमिट बढ़ाने के लिए सैलेरी स्लिप कि लेटेस्ट लास्ट टू मंथ्स कि फोटो कोपी तथा पेन कार्ड कि फोटो कोपी भी मांगी गई थी मैंने १४/०७/२००९ को शाम लगभग ५.०० बजे आपके वोडाफोन ऑफिस मेरठ(मेरठसी सी एस युनिवेर्सिटी के सामने) आवश्यक कागज / दस्तावेज उपलब्ध करा दिए और १४/०७/२००९ को ही शाम को लगभग ०५.२३ बजे आपके वोडाफोन ऑफिस मेरठ(मेरठसी सी एस युनिवेर्सिटी के सामने) से एक रिकुएस्ट भी फॉरवर्ड कि गई थी जिसके बावजूद भी अभी तक मेरी लिमिट नहीं बढाई गई है आप मेरे अकाउंट के रिकॉर्ड से देख सकते हैं के सर्दियों में शुगर मिल मे काम ज्यादा होता है और फोन भी ज्यादा करने पड़ते है लेकिन ४९ रूपये का जो एक प्रोमो भी एक्टिवेट हैउसका भी कोई लाभ नहीं मिलता है कयोंकि आपका प्रोमो बिल साइकिल पर ही अपनी कैलकुलेशन करता है लेकिन उससे पहले जब मे लिमिट के बराबर फोन कर लेता हूँ तो मुझको बार बार अपने दुसरे फ़ोन बी एस एन एल से काम चलाना पड़ता है या फिर अपने भाई या फिर किसी रिश्तेदार से फोन करके अपने वोडाफोन नंबर ९७१९०३६३६३ मे अडवांस धन जमा करवाता हूँ, जिसे आप मेरे अकाउंट के रिकॉर्ड से देख सकते हैं, जैसा कि मेरी लिमिट ३०००/- है जो ०४/०६/२००९ को बढ़कर हुई है उदहारण के तोर पर यदि मै अपनी बिल साइकिल से पहले यदि ३०००/- कि बात कर लेता हूँ तो फोन/वोडाफोन मुझको इससे ऊपर कि बात तभी करने देता है जब मै उसमे कुछ धन अडवांस अपनी बिल साइकिल से पहले यदि जमा कर देता हूँ अन्यथा फ़ोन नहीं कर पाता और बिल साइकिल पर पता चलता है के बिल केवल २०००/- का ही हुआ कयोंकि आपका प्रोमो बिल साइकिल पर ही अपनी कैलकुलेशन करता है अर्थात छूट बादमे बिल साइकिल पर ही मिलती है हमारा ऑफिस बागपत जिले मे सिंघावली अहीर गाँव मे है जहाँ पर आपका कोई वोडाफोन ऑफिस नहीं है जिसकी वजह से मुझको बार बार अपने दुसरे फ़ोन बी एस एन एल से काम चलाना पड़ता है या फिर अपने भाई या फिर किसी रिश्तेदार से फोन करके अपने वोडाफोन नंबर ९७१९०३६३६३ मे अडवांस धन जमा आपके वोडाफोन ऑफिस मेरठमे करवाना पड़ता है आपसे बस यही रिकुएस्ट है के मेरी काल लिमिट बढ़ाने कि कृपा करें, धन्यवाद


            वोडाफोन की तरफ से ये जवाब आया लेकिन कोई कार्यवाही नहीं हुई

                Hello,
                My name is Tirath Singh Rawat, I am using your number since from more than half year.
                My number is [protected] that is a corporate number from THE TRIBUNE TRUST. My vodafone number plan is Talk Super Saver 149-L

                Recently i have charged of Rs 133.60 Pasia on 6th of june 2009 o[censored]sing VMC(vodafone mobile connect), but the fact is that according to plan VMC supposed to be charged as pro data base.
                Infact i have already given request for deactivation on 111 customer care helpline number on 4 th of june 2009 but company didn’t deactivated the service of VMC
                And in next bill i got charged of Rs 133.60 Paisa, I had a talk with 111 customer care executive regarding this issue Complaint Number-[protected], and with same as nodal officer.he said to me that i have to pay the amount of VMC and i have no other option said by nodal officer.

                Now the problem comes again in this month 8th july 2009.
                According to bill plan, i have activated VMC on 8th july 2009 till the end of my billing cycle which is 6th july 2009 to5th august 2009.
                According to the VMC paln, The VMC plan is unlimited downloading + surfing charges are free in Rs 300/Month (Pro Data Base)
                So, I have activated this service on 8th July 2009 and after the bill cycle, I found that in my bill company charged me total of Rs 497.71 Paisa Instead Of Rs 300
                It means Rs 218 are the extra charges on my bill was added by the company.
                I registered a complaint about this issue on 13th Of August at VODAFONE STORE SECTOR 19 CHANDIGARH.
                The executive given me the time of 72 hrs Complaint Number was [protected].
                But after 72 hrs executive said to me that the charges are genuine and I have to pay all the charges before due date. After this I made a call to a nodal officer on this number [protected]. Nodal Officer also told me the same as above and he was spoke with me rudely and no proper satisfaction I had received from any where.

                In Short:-

                VMC [VODAFONE MOBILE CONNECT] Monthly Rent – RS 300
                Billing Cycle – 6th july-5th august
                VMC Activate on my number – 8th july 2009
                Genuine Rent charged on my bill – Rs279.71 from 8th july-5th august
                Wrong charges on my bill - Rs218 on 8th july 2009.

                Vodafone — wrong charges for GPRS

                Hello, i was using vodafone number and they passed me wrong information from their call center dept. and i charged 700 INR in 2nd bill and 2200 rs in 3rd bill, i talked at the nodel desk but i got reply from there that i must paid that amount, after that i had many calls from there relationship manager but he dint came to meet me, after that vodafone issued me another bill, they charged me again for GPRS, where I hadn't use it. pls give me resolution so that i can reactivate my number.

                      I sent SMS to deactivate my 14Rs south STD pack(DCT[protected].Its not getting deactivated, after one day i booked complaint and get service registration number and they send 3 days time for responding about that query.But no use till now its not deactivated.There are lot of controversies between the customer care officers, they didnt know about all the information to provide for us.

                        i am a vodafone customer and have purchased my sim 2 months back,
                        but when i visited your mini store visit for a network problem, i came to know that my sim is not on my name issued, rather it is issued on girls name, and at the time of purchasing my sim, i submitted my documents and he issued my sim,
                        but as i have find that my sim was issued on others name, thus i would like to lodge a comlain against a retailer of your who issued my sim and also the person who is responsible, as to the larger extent i held responsible vodafone for this fraud and serious misusage of customer and the trai policies, thus i would be requiring your guidance on this and, and i am very much serious in filing a complaint against vodafone, you i will not get a proper response,

                          My name Bhupendra kumar dadsena i had taken vodafone connection from IBM location 3 months before that time i done my all formalities i paid my bill continue 2 months after that i changed my residential address so i inform the vodafone customer care and they ask me to send mail with my new address which i already sent to that vodafone customer care After that also they disconnect my connection without inform me, no single massage from them . I am working in IBM India private limited and that day i was on ON call support for IBM support team, Today my manager is asking for resignation, they are telling why u r mobile was switch off yesterday so who will responsible for this thing. Till now my mobile is switch off, its showing your Sim card registration failed.

                            Dear Ms Rashna
                            I'm writing to you due to the pathetic custome service of Vodafone
                            that has been meted down to me over the past month. My phone has been
                            disconnected for the 4th time in 4 weeks and the scandalous attitude
                            of Vodafone employees in resolving this issue has made things only
                            worse.

                            I have subscribed to a Vodafone postpaid phone connection
                            ([protected]) from your Vodafone Store in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai on
                            Wednesday, 22 July 2009. For your reference, my plan consists of Rs
                            99/month with the addition of "India One [protected]@Rs.40" pack.

                            The problems started with the word go. My first disconnection happened
                            just within a week. I went to the afore metioned store to resolve the
                            matter with Mr Anoop - the person who had assisted me in my postpaid
                            connection purchase. He saw into the matter and said that my
                            verification could not be completed at the given address (i.e. of my
                            company Tata Power) and advised me to provide my residential address.
                            he also temporarily reactivated my account.
                            As per the advice, I put in a request for "change of address" at the
                            Vodafone store a few days later by providing a letter of proof,
                            containing my company's (Tata power) letterhead and countersigned by a
                            senior HR manager . My request was processed by Ms Deesha Ajay
                            Bharwada of the same Vodafone Store: Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. That, I
                            hoped would be the end of this ordeal.
                            Despite all the assurances provided, my phone was disconnected for the
                            second time only after a few days. Frustrated, I again went to the
                            same store and talked to Mr Anoop why this happened. He gave me the
                            flimsiest of excuses - that my verification could not be completed yet
                            again because of some vague diffculties. To my astonishment, he asked
                            for another letter of proof because my request for address change had
                            not been processed the first time around. On ennquiring into the
                            lapse, he told me that the first letter had been lost/misplaced by the
                            company and thus he could not change the address again without another
                            letter. I thought it to be an honest mistake and promised to re-submit
                            the letter within a week's time. In the meantime, he again temporarily
                            activated my account.
                            A day before I was to re-submit my letter, I got a call from Vodafone
                            for verfification purpose. I explicitly asked the person on the line
                            THRICE whether this call was to be followed by a disconnection. All 3
                            times the person repeated the same thing: that my connection WOULD NOT
                            be disconnected any further. I was given a "Confirmation Number
                            [protected] as "proof" for the same. The next day - Tuesday, 11 Aug 09
                            - I resubmitted my address proof to Ms Deesha Ajay Bharwada at the
                            Vodafone Store. I repeated my question and the answer was the same -
                            that no further disconnections would occur, that my address change
                            would be executed without fail and verification completed
                            successfully.
                            These promises of Vodafone's incompetent staff, as always, turned out
                            be hollow when my line was disconnected yet again on THE VERY NEXT
                            DAY. On Wednesday evening, i made a call to Vodafone [protected]@111 and
                            expressed my anguish to a senior call centre member named Mr Rafiq
                            Khan. I was served the same stale excuse - that my verification could
                            not be done, that the address change could not be completed, etc etc.
                            I was fed the same advice yet again - that this disconnection was
                            temporary and that he would get it activated within an hour.
                            Which brings us to today, Tuesday 18 August 2009. Today is the 4th
                            time in 4 weeks that my connection has been disconnected and I believe
                            it to be within my right to demand an explanation yet again to the
                            same burning question: WHY IS PHONE LINE BEING REPEATEDLY
                            DISCONNECTED?

                            A good way to examine this issue would be to look at it from my point
                            of view. Despite my boundless patience and willingness to give
                            Vodafone repeated chances, the company has failed miserably by cutting
                            my connection as it saw fit, without any prior warning. The problem
                            is, in no small measure, being compounded by the incompetent fools
                            manning Vodafone's custome care division who always seem to resort to
                            hollow promises and flimsy excuses to escape blame. I've been unable
                            to make ISD calls to my parents living in Indonesia for over a month
                            now since Vodafone couldn't complete a simple verification excercise.
                            I have paid my bills in advance, but that has been of little use
                            because my phone has been disconnected more often than not.

                            I demand:
                            1. An explanation, in writing, of why I was subjected to mindless
                            repetitive disconnections within 24 hours of this mail.

                            2. A refund of my deposit money (Rs 99) for SIM card and billing
                            amount to be excused.

                            3. Termination of postpaid connection with immediate effect.

                            FAILING A SATISFACTORY REPLY TO THE ABOVE, I'LL BE APPROACHING THE
                            APPELATE AUTHORITY (LAXMI BHAN) WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THIS EMAIL FOR
                            FURTHER ENQUIRY. FAILING THAT, I'LL TAKE UP THIS MATTER WITH THE
                            RELEVANT CONSUMER COURT.

                              I have purchased a Vodafone mobile connection on 13. 7 .2009. I have subbmitted all required document. Line was also live.
                              On 16.8.2009 my card was block.
                              Yesterday i went to vodafone customer care office at vasai.
                              they told me that due to non summitting of document your card is expired.
                              I have card blance of around 350 and i also activected the 60 paisa per min.
                              they told me all money u put in card are lost.no money is given back and card is also not activeted.

                              My Sim card no is [protected]... since 3 day my outgoing calls are blocked and its says that it have been restricted due to negative address verification...than i call the vodafone help care and i told them that i my out of station in madras an will submit my document on July 2 when ill reached Goa they told me that they cant help me, i have to submit so i told my aunt to submit and he did but till now it is not activated, , , , morning when i called again on help line no they don't no what 2 ans and told me to send a mail on this email... so is there any way u can help me... one more thing if regarding the document you'll should inform in advance ... waiting for your feedback...

                                Sir,
                                I applied for vodaphone connection at shop name Mobile King, Phase 7, Mohali (Punjab). The number alloted was[protected] which was disconnected after five day of activation on the pretext of lack of documentation. I wish to state that all documents were submitted and I visited this shop twice. The shop keeper ( Mobile No- [protected]) admits that documents are complete but he can do nothing about it as Vodaphone services are very poor and he can not help it. This shopkeeper who is an authorised dealer of vodaphone has taken customers for a ride. Will Vodaphone authorities wake up and activate my number ? This shop should not be permitted to hold dealership for vodaphone unless vodaphone wants to pack up and march out of business from here.

                                    Dear Sir, by profession i am a doctor.My mob no is [protected].Due to illness of my wife Mrs.GOURI CHATTERJEE now staying at Kolkata.Her mob no is[protected].For last 15 days of your vodafone co. few no.always using slang langauage, teasing, attemt for murder specialyy at 2PM to 8PM.She is a patient and cannot tolerate this type of langauage.The two mob no are [protected] and [protected].I was notifing at our regional police station on 05.10.10.The GDR no is 216/10 under Goghat Policestation, hooghly, Westbengal.I hope u enquire about this problems and to serve us smoothly.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      My vadaphone no is [protected] i could not contact to customer care for soling my quries I have prepaired connection they are given me GPRS connection even I have no suffcient balance & now
                                      my current status balance is shown negative i.e.-146 rs .yesterday no one can give me explanation
                                      & today they deduct 2 rs. & today my balance is RS.-148 & TODAY I am unable to contact to
                                      vadaphone care center they are restricted me why this happen in case of me if you are not given
                                      me good customer care service then i will disconnect my vadaphone connection & you must kept my
                                      current balnace zero.

                                        I would like to have incoming call list from vodafone for July 2009 . My vodafone no is [protected].
                                        But Vodafone Thane Naupada, Maharastra office is not ready to give any incoming statement.
