Hello,
I divraj singh sohal, owns a whirlpool semi-automatic washing machine for about 2 years. My registered mobile number is +91-[protected]. I have also paid for extended warranty of 3 years to the service center.
My complaint is as follows :
1) ever since i bought the machine, it has malfunctioned for about more than 7 times.
2) maybe there is a manufacturing defect, the dryer i. E. The spinner side motor has stopped working for about 5 times and every time the motor has to be replaced.
3) now, coming to my current complaint, near about 10th may, 2020, the spinner stopped working again and i raised a complaint with whirlpool customer service on the same day.
4) on 12th may, 2020, i got a call from technician mr jagdeep singh and he visited our house and inspected the machine and said maybe the wiring has gone faulty and said within a day or two, he will change the faulty part and the machine will work.
5) after waiting for about week, i tried calling the technician but there was no response
6) the technician never visited again for next 20 days
7) after 20 days approx i. E. On june 2nd, 2020, i again contacted whirlpool customer service on call and asked to solve my complaint, to which the customer executive raised priority and ended my call.
8) even after making the complaint again, no one came to visit my home.
9) on 3rd june, 2020, i called to technician who has earlier visited about a month ago and to which he replied and asked me to raise the complaint again with whirlpool or with local service center at lawrence road and even gave their number.
10) so, this time i called the local service center and raised my complaint with them
11) the technician again visited my house after raising the complaint and this time when he inspected the machine, he said the dryer i. E. Spinner motor has again malfunctioned and has to be replaced again, and he said he will replace it in a day or two.
12) after waiting for about 4 days i. E. On june 7, 2020, i again called the technician and he said the motor order has been placed and soon the motor will reach their service center and he will replace it and asked me to call again in a day or two to know its status from service center
13) on june 9, 2020, i called technician again to know the status to which he replied that call me around 11 am & when he is in service center he will let me know the status of motor
14) today i. E. On june 15, 2020 after waiting for more than a month, i called local service center and lady named sweety who always responds to calls, answered my call.
15) i told her my name and registered mobile and asked the status of my complaint to which she replied that "what is your problem and complaint regarding"
16) i was shocked to hear her reply and i reminded her of my complaint and to which she replied, okay now i remember you have a complaint about 2 weeks ago i guess.
17) this clearly shows the lack of service & responsibility on the part of whirlpool & specially the local technicians & service center.
18) so, today when i called, i asked her to revert back to me within an hour about the status or i will have to file a written complaint, to which she agreed to revert back
19) but as usual, at the time of writing this email, no reply has been received from local service center about the status of replacement of motor.
Lastly, i request whirlpool to solve my complaint at the earliest without any further delay & extend my warranty for the period for which machine has not been repaired and replace the motor as washing machine is a daily necessity machine
