Hello,
I have been a loyal customer of Whirlpool for the past decade and today perhaps was the worst experience that I have to endure so far. My refrigerator (WHIRLPOOL NEO FR278 ROY PLUS-35/262Ltr REF-WINE REGALIA) bought on 28th July 2016, had recently started having cooling issues and as a result, I lodged a service request online (number:[protected]. A person attended to the request on 20th June 2020 and charged me 413 INR (ID no on bill: KOL[protected]). He suggested that I had a gas leak from the refrigerator and will send someone to repair it. Today (22nd June 2020), a person from Mondal Refrigerator Co (authorised service franchisee from Whirlpool, 81/K A.K Mukherjee Road, Kolkata 700090) came and attended to the call. He repaired the leak and also changed a spare part. He charged 2500 INR for the same. Now I have the following questions:
First, when I asked him to adjust 413 INR (for the previous visit) with the current amount, he said that he can't do that as it is not the policy of whirlpool. Although, from my experience at resolving service requests with several other companies, you usually get the amount that was charged during the initial inspection adjusted with your final bill. I want to know why I couldn't avail the same request. Second, in the bill attached, he has mentioned two items that were repaired or attended to. The first was the copper filter drier that was changed and he also did a gas refill for my fridge. The refill came with 170gm bottles (from Godrej) and he said that he has refilled only 100gms for my refrigerator. Now the gas canister was priced at approx 250 INR in most websites online and the spare part (the copper filter drier) was charged at 10 INR each a piece. He replaced one only.
So my question is, why was I charged 2500 INR for the repairs and also why the 413 INR that was not adjusted? And second, I want a price-wise description of the repairs done or the product replaced. Please note that I am not asking for a refund. All I am asking is you provide the part-wise breakup of the bill and not just provide the same in a lump-sum format. I hope this will get resolved soon. Whirlpool has always been my first choice.

    One service engineer, mr sonu kumar visited us on 8th june 2020 to attended the complaint no 25388, but failed to fix the issue of error code p3. He told us to register another complaint mentioning error code e3. We did but no one has come to fix the issue.

      I have registered complain about front load washing machine drum is not rotating on 1 st june 2020 (Complain no.[protected] but still no body is attend the complain every day i call in whirlpool service center and they give me reply service engineer call you in 2 hours but no body is call back still today. Washing machine serial no.[protected], model fresh care 7010 (I), purchase date 23.11.2019. Machine in waranty period but no respond from whirlpool.

        Respected sir/madam,

        I have purchased a whirlpool fridge from kalamassery bismi connect on july 04th, 2019 of rupees - 34100/-. On june 02th 2020 our fridge was not working and i have contacted the whirlpool customer service and registered a complaint (Complaint no: coc[protected]). After that, there was no contact from the whirlpool technician. So i have contacted the bismi connect where i brought the fridge and i have informed the complaint. They told me that they will directly contact whirlpool service and inform them to send the technician. Two days after the technician came home and verified the complaint. He said the dc board needs to be replaced and it should come from pune. We have to wait for a one-week maximum to solve the complaint. so we have waited for 1-week but still, the issue was not resolved. Hence i called the technician again and asked my fridge status. He said the whirlpool company has informed them to replace our fridge. So i contacted whirlpool service area head for the update. Still, there is not update from whirlpool service and the bismi connect when our product will be delivered. Today it is the 18th day of the complaint. I have contacted the whirlpool service area head today morning also he said it will take 12 days to approve a new fridge. Please help us to resolve the issue and avail of our new fridge. I am providing the whirlpool service head number below. Please do the needful asap.

          Have purchased double door fridge 1 and 1/2 year before till now it was got repaired for 3 times and now from last 4 months i am facing new issue that is cooling was not at all coming to my bottom door fridge and also motor is making very huge noise.. For this i was keep on calling customer care and raised multiple complaints from last 4 months but no one has come to my house from whirlpool to check my refrigerator till now (Its been 4 months). I am extremely fed up with the product and i can't bare this pathetic customer service provided by whirlpool.

            We purchased the Whirlpool's Supreme Care Front-Load Washing Machine 3 years back thinking its one time investment but we were wrong. After only few months, the washing machine started asking for regular maintenance and each authorized maintenance costed us thousands of rupees with the agent always selling something new that is not covered under the warranty. But we made sure to invest in the regular preventive maintenance from authorized centers.

            As soon as the product warranty ended the agent convinced us to buy extended warrant for 5k promising that he will get the product replaced as it has always created trouble. Despite regular care the product is completely rusted from inside and outside. But that was just false hope as the agent from Bhardawaj Service Center, Ghaziabad fooled us to gain commissions. So in three years of buying such costly product and investing more that Rs 10k on overhead, it sits completely rusted, jammed and useless.

            I am requesting Whirlpool to either replace the product or refund our Rs 5k of extended warranty which Whirlpool's Authorized Service Center deceived us to pay and have not come to any use.

              I am mahender sharma from vadodara, gujarat. Once i done a mistake by buying whirlpool refrigerator in 2017. Now my refrigerator not working. I lodeged complaint many times buy calling whirlpool customer care center. After complaining many time, after 1 week two service person came and checked refrigerator and said that it's compressor not working need to replace. They asked rs. 400 for visiting. Then they agreed at rs. 300 and gave a bill of rs.300. And said that tomorrow they will replace the compressor. But they didn't came. When i called they said they will come next day. But next day they also didn't came. When again i called they said they will come day after tomorrow. This kind of service i am getting from whirlpool. Should i choose consumer court. This is the last message i sending you. I want brife discription of this kind of service.

                Dear sir/madam,

                I have purchased the whirpool fridge from vijaysales ashram road on 13th july, 2019.

                However after the purchase suddenly it stopped cooling on 19th february, 2020 complaining about the same on 22nd february, 2020 to whirpool it was repaired without cost as the same was under warranty. (Problem was gas leakage)

                Now again the same problem was detected today. I called the customer to mention that this is again happened please send the good technician they sent a person who was not even having the proper tools to repair and went away stating i will sent another person after 3 days for repair..

                Even after 3 days the senior technician came and repaired it is again suffering from same issue

                My claim are as follows

                1. Why this defective product has been delivered?.
                2. I have purchased new product why this problem again and again coming. (I want complete product check report)
                3. Who will bear the loss of inconvenience causes of 3 time so many days the fridge was not working properly.
                4. Even after saying over the call sent the technician without equipment. Deficiency in service
                5. I want complete replacement of the fridge with the new one.

                  Replacement awaited for complaint number pu[protected] since 17th march 2020. Your customer care and local service contractors are unable to provide any details or timeline regarding same. Please stop harassing customers like this improve your after sales service.

                      Hello,
                      I divraj singh sohal, owns a whirlpool semi-automatic washing machine for about 2 years. My registered mobile number is +91-[protected]. I have also paid for extended warranty of 3 years to the service center.
                      My complaint is as follows :

                      1) ever since i bought the machine, it has malfunctioned for about more than 7 times.
                      2) maybe there is a manufacturing defect, the dryer i. E. The spinner side motor has stopped working for about 5 times and every time the motor has to be replaced.
                      3) now, coming to my current complaint, near about 10th may, 2020, the spinner stopped working again and i raised a complaint with whirlpool customer service on the same day.
                      4) on 12th may, 2020, i got a call from technician mr jagdeep singh and he visited our house and inspected the machine and said maybe the wiring has gone faulty and said within a day or two, he will change the faulty part and the machine will work.
                      5) after waiting for about week, i tried calling the technician but there was no response
                      6) the technician never visited again for next 20 days
                      7) after 20 days approx i. E. On june 2nd, 2020, i again contacted whirlpool customer service on call and asked to solve my complaint, to which the customer executive raised priority and ended my call.
                      8) even after making the complaint again, no one came to visit my home.
                      9) on 3rd june, 2020, i called to technician who has earlier visited about a month ago and to which he replied and asked me to raise the complaint again with whirlpool or with local service center at lawrence road and even gave their number.
                      10) so, this time i called the local service center and raised my complaint with them
                      11) the technician again visited my house after raising the complaint and this time when he inspected the machine, he said the dryer i. E. Spinner motor has again malfunctioned and has to be replaced again, and he said he will replace it in a day or two.
                      12) after waiting for about 4 days i. E. On june 7, 2020, i again called the technician and he said the motor order has been placed and soon the motor will reach their service center and he will replace it and asked me to call again in a day or two to know its status from service center
                      13) on june 9, 2020, i called technician again to know the status to which he replied that call me around 11 am & when he is in service center he will let me know the status of motor
                      14) today i. E. On june 15, 2020 after waiting for more than a month, i called local service center and lady named sweety who always responds to calls, answered my call.
                      15) i told her my name and registered mobile and asked the status of my complaint to which she replied that "what is your problem and complaint regarding"
                      16) i was shocked to hear her reply and i reminded her of my complaint and to which she replied, okay now i remember you have a complaint about 2 weeks ago i guess.
                      17) this clearly shows the lack of service & responsibility on the part of whirlpool & specially the local technicians & service center.
                      18) so, today when i called, i asked her to revert back to me within an hour about the status or i will have to file a written complaint, to which she agreed to revert back
                      19) but as usual, at the time of writing this email, no reply has been received from local service center about the status of replacement of motor.

                      Lastly, i request whirlpool to solve my complaint at the earliest without any further delay & extend my warranty for the period for which machine has not been repaired and replace the motor as washing machine is a daily necessity machine

                        Dear sir / madam,

                        I am writing to you to raise an issue about: my 2 yr old split ac having compressor issue

                        The issue that i have experienced was: service request[protected]
                        I bought whirlpool split ac in september 2017 but from very next year it started giving me problems. Last year i had to get the gas filled but issue was not resolved even after that and cooling issue was still there. Again since the starting of this season this ac is not cooling at all and the 2 engineers visited (Not from whirlpool) and said its compressor needs to be replaced. I made complaint on 28 may but still no one visited and i got call from one rajat (Area service manager) 15 days back but still no one visited or provided me solution. It is really very hectic and in current situation it is difficult to take the follow up as no customer care is opened. Please help me to get the issue resolved.

                        Compressor of my ac is in warranty and need to be replaced. I want whirlpool to send some one on urgent basis and replace my compressor to resolve the issue

                          I had a circuit problem in the second week of jan’20 where the display screen was displaying some error. Whirlpool amc took this machine to vikas refrigeration, where in they changed tcp, and even though i told them not to change the lid, they changed the opening lid costing 3500/₹ which is not covered in amc. They changed the water inlet pipe costing 1300₹, not covered in amc. My machine was purchased in 2011, and i have been renewing my amc since, a total of atleast 30-40, 000₹, much more than the cost price of around 26, 000₹ (360 degree model).
                          Around mid of march, the display again started giving problems, related to incomplete closing of the lid. I had to close the lid multiple times for sensor to work.15 days after that, a grease like substance started dripping from under the mother board onto my inner tub. By this time lockdown had started due to coronavirus. We attempted contacting the mechanic for some information for the cause, but he would not pick the phone. My amc expired on 15 may’20, and despite repeated attempts of calling tollfree complaint no. Of whirlpool and emails, they sent a technician only in first week of june. He told us that the pcb was melting down and can even cause a fire, but since my amc had expired, and this is the last year of amc renewal, they wont do anything. On speaking with vikas refrigeration, they are willing to change pcb for 4500/₹. Now i dont know what they had done earlier, but im sure this problem was made to happen, forcing us to buy a new machine with new amc exploitation. All i can say that this is a criminal negligence and nexus of both whirlpool and their repair contractors.
                          Because of lockdown, showrooms are not getting the stock of model i want, and im forced to use this fire hazard all the time breath trapped in my lungs. Im never ever buying a whirlpool ever again atleat.

                            Purchasing whirlpool is foolishness in india as they are useless. Its my personal experience.
                            On 27th february 2020 i purchased whirlpool 2 ton 3 star inverter split ac, it was installed on 3rd march 2020. After a week air conditioner stopped cooling so i registered a complaint. The service center technician came and said me that there is gas leakage issue in my unit and did gas recharge and went away.
                            From the next day the same issue started and i again called the whirlpool technician.
                            He said after checking that sir your ac unit is under warranty therefore we will replace it as there is an unforeseen problem in the unit.
                            I agreed with him as i want to resolve my problem.
                            Now came the real truth of whirlpool india its more than 2 months and my whirlpool ac unit has not been replaced yet. I daily call the customer care about the update but they said your replacement unit will be installed shortly.
                            I call service centre but they talk in rubbish language and simply delay my issue.
                            No service and help from the whirlpool india ltd. They are just cheater and doing a big fraud with indians. The whirlpool products should be banned in india my amount of rs.36990/- has been wasted.
                            Now i will take a legal action against whirlpool of india ltd.in the consumer courts as i am suffering a lot due to them.
                            I suggest all that please buy indian products as these foriegn company are just making fraud with india consumers.
                            It was my overall experiences with the whirlpool airconditioner hope i will be helped by writing a review here.

                              Bought whirlpool double door intellifresh refrigerator in nov 2019. Frig stopped cooling after 5 months. From may 5, 2020, i have called innumerable times but there has been no response. Frig has been making constant whirring sounds and other sudden loud sounds. A technician (Who did not visit me but to whom i sent the video of the sounds) said it is a faulty piece and needs to be replaced. From then, no communication at all about what is the expected date or anything. Food/milk, etc are getting spoilt in the middle of summer.
                              I want a refund on this product. Bought it at croma, bangalore.

                                I was charged rs 500 just for replacing the fused bulb and i think 500 is very high for the job. Whirlpool should fix charges according to the issue. For minor issues charges should be less.

                                  I dropped the request for whirlpool machine, as it was not working.

                                  A person (Mob :[protected]) from whirpool came home on 1st June'20 and examined the machine. He said that it needs to be sent to the workshop.

                                  The machine was took by 2 people saying that they are taking it to the workshop for repair on 2nd June '20. Since then, we have been continuously asking for the update, but the supervisor ( [protected]) sometimes doesn't pick the call or switch off his phone.

                                  Each day we call them and, they say, that, we will get by next day. Next day when we call, they again say next day.

                                  Today 10th June'20, we are still trying to connect the supervisor, but, no response.

                                  Please tell me, what sort of service are you providing. We completely understand the Covid-19 situation, but, atleast they should tell us one particular day, when we will be getting our machine.

                                  Also, they said the Repair Cost will be 8000/-.

                                  Now, Can you please tell me, where is the machine. ?

                                  Is it there in the workshop or has been sold by whirlpool service center to any other place, just for the sake of money. Because you are creating this image of your services in our mind.

                                  Can you please call me and tell the update.

                                    I have already lodge a complain that my whirlpool double door refrigerator is o/o since 12.5.2020. Compl. No. Koli[protected], dot 18.5.2020 due to pcb failure. But no action has been initiated till. I wanted to know how much time to take for rectify the same? Either it will rectify or not? May clearly mention.

                                      मुझे मेरा AMC का पैसा वापस चाहिए मुझे आपसे कोई काम नहीं कराना है क्युकि आप कोई सर्विस प्रोवाइड नहीं करते है मुझे AMC लेने के बाद से ( September 2019 ) कोई सर्विस नहीं मिल रही है और परेशान किया जा रहा है मैंने September 2019 2 साल के AMC ली थी Rs. 8045 की लेकिन आपने 10 months की वारंटी ख़राब कर दी बार बार कंप्लेंट करने के बाद भी मुझे परेशान किया जा रहा है मेरा AC September 2019 से ख़राब पड़ा है तो मुझे आपसे कोई सर्विस लेनी ही नहीं है कृपया मेरा पूरा पैसा वापस करे.

                                        Myself himangshu saha, purchased a whirlpool 1.5 ton magicool pro + 3star split inverter ac from flipkart on 27.05.2020 in favour of my father in law dilip kumar saha at kolkata, dumdum cantontment location. The invoice is attached below. This item has been delivered by 31.05.2020. Installation cost will be 499+18% gst was also inclusive in the offer.

                                        From 31st may i am facing ultimate harassment regarding installation and demo. First i received call from whirlpool birbhum service centre for installation at bktpp, birbhum, west bengal in the name of chiranjon roy. Then i cancel the request and called whirlpool customer care number ([protected]), they told me that my details are not updated as per shipping address, and they raised a fresh installation request at shipping address (Pin code-700065) in favour of dilip kumar saha.

                                        But next morning the service engineer called me and told that he can’t do any ac installation job in the above mention pin code, as they are not doing any ac installation so i have to cancel the request and again raise a new installation request through customer care. He also mentioned that service centre located at pin code-700056 will do ac installation job at pin code-700065 (Service centre at pin code 700065 is m/s mondal refrigerator)
                                        I raised another installation request via whirlpool customer care but again service engineer from pin code-700056 called and told that he can’t work in that pin code area, i. E-700065, that is not their jurisdiction. I have to raise another fresh installation request. Every time i contact customer care they simply say they will solve the issue immediately but they dont do anything.

                                        Again, i raised a fresh installation through whirlpool customer care on 05/06/2020 and they told me technician will contact me within 24 hrs, but no one contacted till 07/06/2020, 11am, so again i called to whirlpool customer care and told total issue but the person behind phone gets irritated and just told me that he will raise the issue to higher authority. Nothing changed thereafter.
                                        I mailed the issue with all details to "[protected]@whirlpool.com" on 04/06/2020, but no reply or any positive action i have received yet.

                                        I also contacted flipkart to look into this matter, they simply send a regreat letter, and just told me they get back to me by 9th june.
                                        My last day of returning the ac is 10th of june, and untill and unless i check the ac by whirlpool appointed technician i cant even return back the ac to flipkart.
                                        So please help me to install the ac by 10th june, 2020. Or return back it to flipkart and refund my money.

                                        Thanks a lot for your immediate action. Whirlpool customer care person arranged the installation on 9th June, and installation done also on 9th June by whirlpool technician, they charged 499 + GST as per offer. Thanks again AKOSHA.
