My Whirlpool top load washing machine suddenly stopped working last week and I raised a service request by calling Whirlpool customer care. SR no. is BA[protected]. Whirlpool technician ([protected]) misguided me through out after inspecting the machine briefly. He informed that Motor & Gear Box are damaged and approx repair cost would be 9-10k. He took 480/- and left my premises. But I got a doubt and called a local technician. He inspected the machine properly and fixed it by repairing the PCB. Now the machine is working fine.

Today I called Whirlpool customer support team to lodge a complaint against the technician and demanded a refund of 480/-. But she asked me to talk to the technician directly. When I contacted him for the refund, he denied to do so.

At first place company technician gives wrong information, misleads the customer and then denies to pay back the service charge which he doesn't deserve to have. I have never expected such an unprofessional service from a company.

Please take strict actions against the company who try to mislead and loot customers and also do the needful for the refund of 480/-. I don't want to pay this fees to these guys because they tried to cheat me.

    I have purchased the whirlpool washing machine front load in April 2018. within 4 months the machine got repair and was not running. We have raised a service request immediately to the company. The service agents have not diagnosed properly. so the same issue started repeating again and again. now it been more than a year the problem is not resolved for us. Totally the whirlpool washing machine product is not upto to the mark and service provided them which is very poor. Not expected this from such a big company. I would focus more on the service guys, which they are well qualified to solve the issue. i also the escalated the issue to the higher managers they said they going to replace the whole machine itself. but still the our problem is not resolved.

      For the past 1 week i am waiting for the installation mechanic... I bought refrigerator from police canteen... They told me to call toll-free for the installation are otherwise if any fault we won't accept it. I registered my mobile number on wednesday... Nobody has come to install... I shifted to new home, its urgent to me because am having 1 year baby... # response from the toll-free tele callers

      I am also facing same problem, I purchased the fully automatic washing machine from Amazon on 1st March and its been 15 Days no one visited to installed the same. Pathetic after sale service of this company. I am really disappointed to buy this product.

        I have purchased a refrigerator in may 2015 from home shop 18. Now it has become faulty, as checked by service center it has compressor issue which needs replacement, but they are not considering it under service warranty as i have lost invoice somewhere.

          My self surumi, my father in law purchased a whirlpool fully automatic frontload washing machine from a retail shop edappully emporium, edappully complex, tana, in irinjalakuda, pin 680121, kerala, thrissur district on 29 june 2017. It had a sudden
          Functional issue on august 2019 and immediately called to the retailer shop from where i purchased the product and they came a checked and said it's board got ruined and we need to repair or replace it. After 2 weeks we called them and they returned the board and said they couldn't repair it and even they can't replace the board with a new one. So then i called to whirlpool customer service centre and they came to check from their irinjalakuda branch. They came and checked the product and said that this product is a discontinued proct of whirlpool and so even the products spare parts are not even available. We were shock to hear that from them because it was just years that we brought a product which cost us rupees 21900 and with in 2 years just a spare part got a complaint and they could provide it. They asked us make a complaint so that they can replace it with new one so that we need to pay the half price of it. We went more than 3 times to the whirlpools irinjalakuda service center to know the status of our complint. They at last said that they can't do anything, and they opened it up that this product was already an outdated product when whirlpool sold it to the retailers for small rate, and customers we did not know about it and brought it, now just after 2 years with a small issue now the product is useless and company do not even value our spend on the product. So i would like to request to please do the needful so that they could atleast replace this product or pay us half money.

            Dear sir / madam,

            I had purchased whirlpool washing machine from snehanjali electronics virar east on dated 5-feb-2020 costing rs.12500/-. On next day machine delivered at my home but it was faulty piece. Drayer of the machine was not working. Therefore i asked to snehanjai electronics and whirlpool to replace this machine. But they both given me reason to delay for replacement. I had purchased this machine for convenience of my old parents. But both were not agreed to replace machine as early. So i registered complaint to grahak suraksha sewa to get me justice in this case. Their executive promised me to do the needful for early replacement and also told they will provide me compensation from whirlpool and snehanjali for whatever delayed done by them and due to suffered by my old parents. Grahak suraksha sewa executive charged me rs. 3250 for this process and to get compensation amount. Finally by lot of follow-up machine replaced after 19 days on dated 24-feb-2020.
            But till date no any kind of compensation amount received me from any party. I have attached herewith all concerned documents of this case. These are washing machine bill, grahak suraksha sewa snapshot and snap for rs. 3250 paid to them as fees. Letter send to grahak suraksha sewa regarding this case.
            Now i am sending any email to grahak sewa but it's getting undelivered and if i tried to call or message them through their whatsapp number then they are not replying.
            I don't understand how grahak sewa can ignore in such case.
            I am not demanding more amount of compensation. I am expecting to get at least whatever expenses/fees i have incurred in this process that is only rs.3250 and nothing else.
            Requesting you to please do the needful to get me compensation.

              Dear sir,
              I am feeling sad to intimate you that the ac installed at my house in the year 2016 is incorrect. The cooling from the ac was low from the very beginning. When i raised this issue with the service engineer at the time of 1st service, i was told that it was because if the room size.
              After the 1st free service, there was no further service.
              The cooling kept on decreasing. Recently i engaged an ac technician, he explained me the reasons for the low cooling.
              From pictures attached you can clearly see, how bad was the installation. From ceiling even 15 cm gap has not been provided.
              I would request you to kindly take up the case and do needful at the earliest. I hope you understand the pain of suffering for last 3 years. Also the excess electricity bills which i had to pay because of the fault of technician who installed it wrongly. Ph-[protected]

                Timeline:
                25 Dec 2019 - product is 2 years old, refrigerator ice box is damaged
                26 Dec 2019 - complaint is raised to whirlpool customer care
                27 Dec Senior Technician comes in, charges INR 354 for looking at the issue which is ice box has been damaged, and needs replacement with gas recharge
                27 Dec Junior Technician comes and replaces ice box and fills up gas, charges INR 4700, asks to monitor issue for 3-4 days
                29 Dec Issue is not resolved, no cooling in the refrigerator
                30 Dec Junior Technician comes in again to check the issue, refills gas and tells to monitor again, If the issue isnt resolved he informs that the compressor will be replaced under warranty
                January 2 week onwards - after calling the service centre employees, they keep on giving contact number of different people in their organisations
                February 1 week - Service request number is closed multiple times and new ticket is assigned even i didnt provide with the customer satisfaction number. Case is escalated at the support centre.
                February 2 week onwards - Support centre supervisor himself coordinates with the Bengaluru service provider maxserve but no action is taken after telling that the a senior technician will visit the premises and check the problem
                February 3 week - after multiple leaves taken by me with nobody showing up as promised, a senior technician comes up and says that there is a just a gas leak and a junior technician will come up and fix it. Even after he was told that a junior technician has already checked for gas leaks and suggested a compressor change.
                February 3 week onwards - Multiple calls to the support centre and service partner, neither of the technicians are showing up even after giving time slots for the fix.
                Till the time of writing this report no action has been taken

                The complaint is not resolved, stop misleading the consumers. Even after this complaint nobody cared to visit the site and come take a look. This complaint will be escalated to District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, with a demand of hefty compensation.

                  Its really sad to inform you that your customer care team at Gwalior, is not at all vigilant and willing to help their clients, even after calling them so many times.
                  I have filed a Service Request for my Refrigerator at the Gwalior Customer Care Office.
                  The concerned person didn't revert back for 3-4 days, even after reminding him daily on continuous basis.
                  After few days he came and said that something has to be changed, which we don't have right now and will come back tomorrow.
                  But again, he didn't bothered to revert back. We again reminded him number of times.
                  This series of action is going on from last 15 days.
                  The concerned person who is dealing with us, when we call him, he says i am coming one hour/2 hour and so, but he never turned back on the stipulated time.

                  Its a humble request that please consider this matter at you earliest and i will be highly obliged.
                  I hope you can understand the difficulty which we are facing.

                    It is been more than 26 days i have lodged complaint with whirlpool regarding my new refrigerator which has a faulty machine and stopped cooling and lot of deposition of ice. Technician visited told he will change some part and he did not turn up when i enquired again after couple of days he told part is pending from head office. He came again with that part and after opening he told whole conductor is faulty and it is going to take another 10 days to come. I am not able to use the machine since then. Whirlpool is not at all taking initiative to get the whole machine changed as because the problem arised so early. Please get it resolved.

                        Hi,
                        I have a fully automatic washing machine which is having some issue. Its still under warranty. I raised a ticket (Ba[protected] on 24th jan 2020, a technician visited our home and tried to fix the issue. The issue is not fixed, since then i called the whirlpool customer care number multiple times but no one is revisiting my home to fix the issue, the customer care person informs that he is putting a reminder in the ticket but nothing is happening. No technician ever visited my home after the first visit. I am not sure what else i could do as the response of customer care seems very unpromising and they are saying that they cannot do anything apart from just adding another reminder. I cannot keep waiting with an unusable washing machine still under warranty and hence planning to go for consumer court if i don't get a response in 1-2 days as its a huge inconvenience for me.

                          We bought top loading whirlpool fully automatic washing machine in december 2014.
                          It worked well for three years but from the last week there was a heavy sound in the spin tub while rinsing and spinning.
                          We lodged a complaint in whirlpool customer center they said that two year warranty period was over so inspection charge will be rs 300/-. I accepted it and their person came to our home and checked the machine and confirmed that the sound is due to the bearing problem. And also said barring must be replaced. And said the cost is around rs 4500/- that also comes with only 6 months warranty. On hearing this i was shocked because actually we use only detergent to wash the clothes and in my home only there are three persons clothes will be washed once in a week. I asked him why the quality is so poor, he said all this top load washing machine after three years
                          Got this problem this is failure model. Please don't buy whirlpool washing machine.

Within a short period found water leakages from the machine body. Pfa of the video. We have complained to the help desk and the technician has visited the same and provided all functional reports to the company. As per the technician, there is a water pressure issue. Same type of machine is used in our building flats with the same water pressure and no such leakages observed. Requesting for the replacement of the faulty machine. Please find the communication with the company for the kind needful.

Your technician has given you wrong report about washing machine of above model is in working condition. regarding inflow of water as observed more by your technician is baseless because all our neighbours are too using either your brand or other brands from the same water tank. Water will fill up only inside of washing machine then how leakage is getting from the body of appliance /washing machine. It mean it is defective appliance sold to me. simply regretting customer problem without knowing fact is not correct. Now you depute your sr.                             This is to inform you the issue is not yet resolved. Is there anything wrong to complain about the substandard product delivered to me. It's the responsibility of Whirlpool to replace the defective piece as I am facing lot of inconveniences due to water leakages. Please resolve the concern issue at the earliest.

                              We see more motor noise when washing machine running even with lower load, purchased around 1month back.
                              Technician recommended to go replace and he said it would happen in some 20 days, its been more than 40 days, no replacement happened and people are not responding to phone calls.

                                  I have purchased a double door fridge 6 sense "intellifresh" model, (From vijay sales, noida) on 18 feb 2019 after using some months, internal body got cracked. Then i raised the complaint on 23/jan/2020 and technician who came declared that the refrigerator need replacement.

                                  Whirlpool customer care give me mobile of mr. Pankaj (Service head). Customer care told with in 15 days your fridge will be replaced & replacement will be provided by service head. Now service head telling your fridge request will be taken after feb month due to server and will not able to replace.
                                  He is not picking the call nor replace the product & meanwhile my product warranty gets expired.

                                  Nobody is going to resolve the problem of fridge. I am totally frustrated to brought the product from whirlpool due to really worst kind of warranty & service provided by company.

                                  I request to the consumer forum authority to intervene and help in resolving the issue so that my fridge can be replaced.

                                  There is no response from the service center and customer care already says "they dont have any solution" and service center not replacing my product as they are not picking up our calls.

                                  I have raised the complaint on 23 Jan, now there is no future action has been taken after technician visit. I don’t know why there is much delay.

                                  Could you please confirm the upto when this issue is resolved. I have discussed multiple time with your customer care department but except frustration I didn’t get anything from whirlpool.

                                  It seems from whirlpool side, the warranty is like joke and really such worst kind of service and warranty provided by whirlpool, as there is no one listening, no one taking action, regarding replacement of refrigerator product which is under warranty now. Request to take prompt action and provide replacement of problematic product.

                                  As I mentioned, my product warranty will get expired soon due to 1 year of completion, then whirlpool care will be raise such excuse “warranty expired” bla bla.. But if product is under warranty then no one listening the customer problem. What type of quality of service provided by whirlpool to their customer?

                                      Renewed amc online for whirlpool for my washing machine. But it turned that whirlpool amc department after collecting amc amount do not bother to update their system.
                                      They do not want to provide amc & support after that. I believe that some company have hired some unscrupulous middlemen who are doing frauds with customers.
                                      Very pathetic response from their call center. Please be careful taking any whirlpool product.

                                        I have a fully automatic top loading washing machine, which stopped working on monday 3rd feb.
                                        Complaint was raised and technician came on wednesday. Within 5 mins, the machine stopped again.
                                        Inspite of repeated complaints since then, no service technician has visited.
                                        Clothes are lying in water and getting spoilt.
                                        One technician, whose number was give by your service center, on asking when he would come replied "throw the machine in dustbin". This is no way to talk to a customer. Forget about providing the service.
                                        Kindly escalate the matter.
