My problem is, Card doesn't work for any International transactions! and it mostly gives "Transaction Declined" or "Do Not Honor"

    My customer ID of Axis Bank is[protected]

    I noticed on 27/08/2012 a debit enry of Rs.6127.83 was made by my Axis bank in my salary account ending 93772 of Senapati Bapat Road, Pune sating that a purchase was made from Life proof Sandiago which is not done by me. I sent emails describing this incorrect entry in my account to the following email ids:

    ON 27/08/2012 to "211.RM1" mail facility provided by net banking of Axis bank &

    "[protected]@axisbank.com", "SenapatiBapat.[protected]@axisbank.com", "salary.[protected]@axisbank.com"

    They asked for dispute form duly filled and signed through mail and I sent the scanned copy of it on 29/08/2012 to "debit.[protected]@axisbank.com" . I have blocked my ATM cum debit card.

    So far nothing has been heard from them and the debit entry still not reversed.

    I want this issued to be resolved & investigated.

      My complaint is related to Fund Transfer from Axis Bank to State Bank through NEFT. Several times , I have complained to Axis bank through proper channel since may-2012 but i am not getting the solution. Only i have received the acknowledgment no. I have mentioned the problem in details. On 04/04/2012 i have transferred Rs. 10000/- to State Bank A/c from my axis bank a/c through NEFT for urgent requirement of her mother treatment. When the time of registration, i have registered Miss Maitrayee Manna (Account Holder) , State Bank a/c no [protected] and CHINSURAH State Bank IFSC code SBIN0000056. After transfer the amount , I have found that, i have registered wrong account no. From state Bank, I came to know that the registered account no. exists in kolkata State Bank and account holder name is Mr. Joy Pratim Sarkar. After transfer the fund, Rs. 10000/- has debited from my account and this amount also credited to Mr. Joy Pratim Sarkar account(Came to know from his passbook). I have informed to axis bank through online as well as verbal with all documents and also submitted the scan copy of Mr. Joy Pratim Sarkar passbook. I have found in passbook of Mr. Joy Pratim Sarkar, Rs.10000/- has been kept Set Hold Condition by State bank as per my complain (on 04/05/2012). The money is too important due to urgent require for her mother treatment. Till now i am not getting solution.

      fund transfer — fund transferred to wrong account

      On 18-09-09, I transfered a sum of Rs2000 via net banking to an account located in Hardwar. By mistake the fund is transfered to an account in Delhi.This is because the account number entered was wrong but other details like account holder name and branch code was correct.
      Since I've transfered from ICICI net banking, SBI says to check with ICICI bank. And ICICI says to check with SBI since the fund is transfered from their bank.
      I'm stuck in the loop between the two banks.
      I didn't understand how they can transfer the money to an account that has payee name totally different what I entered while transfering the amount.
      Please advise me what to do at this time. Its more than 3 months for this issue and I'm not getting any response from amy of the banks

        My axis bank account not activated even after 3 months of issue of the Debit card. I approached the marketing people who are selling the cards in Marathahalli. They told that in 4 days card will be activated. then again i went to them, same they replied but, they told me to submit address proof and phone numbers, photos etc. done the same. Actually My bank account is in SHANTHI NAGAR, Blore. But why those people are delaying in activation of my axis account?

        I thought the account is activated and went to marathahalli branch to deposit Rs.5000. But i got an arduous reply that, ur account is not activated. Go to Shanthi Nagar Branch.
        This is like a Tom and Jerry Show! lol
        These are the details of the receipt i got from AXIS bank Mark Exec :

        But i request, why they didn't activated my account?

            Bank has done fraud to me. They had given me credit card by promising that I dont require to pay monthly fee and joining fee. I am lucky customer for bank.

            Right now, I have got my credit cared bill and they have included joining fee in that. I have called to customer care but They are not replying responsibly.
            They have given me request id and also said they have approve my request and still they have included joining fee.


            I want cancellation on my joining fee. I have already paid my bill but didnt not pay joing fee amount as bank has done fraud to me.

              Bank had given me credit card by saying that card which they were offering had no extra charges(no joining fee and monthly fee).
              now they are saying that credit card which they have issued is chargable(Means I need to pay joining fee and monthly fee).
              I have complained to bank for same.They had generated me one request number[protected]. that time they said bank has approved my req and I dont require to pay joining fee and monthly fee.

              last Tues day I have receive my bill and they have charged joining fee in it.

              Axis bank has done fraud to me and I want cancellation on my joining fee.

              Bank has given me credit card by saying that I am a lucky customer and bank will not charge any joining fee or monthly fee. On this condition I have accepted credit card.
              I have received my credit card bill. Bank has charged me joining fee. I had talked to their customer executive office. They had generated me req. no(req no is 6584280) when I had called them first time.they said my req is approved when I called them second time. and still they have charged my joining fee.

              they have given me new Interaction number[protected].they are not taking my problem seriously and want me to pay joining fee.

              bank has done fraud to me and I want cancellation on joining fee.

                I had purchased a costly sony zoom digicam item code[protected] through Axis bank credit card emi of 6 month option. The purchase price for item was Rs 20133/- + Rs 512.83/- as EMI charges taken by ebay . My ebay user id kavade1984.
                I received the item from ebay seller after making my payments through interest free EMI option. However, I was surprised to see my credit card bill. The entire amount i.e. Rs 20133/- + Rs 512.83(EMI charges) was charged in single month to me.
                I contact ebay through their customer care toll free number - They say that they have approved the EMI now the bank has to convert it to EMI. On contacting the bank, the bank says it has to be done by merchant. It is like a bull run here and there with no solution. Finally I wrote to customer care of Axis bank credit card and they are saying a whole different story - "WE DON'T HAVE ANY OPTION OF EMI purchase WITH EBAY"
                What is going on? If there is no emi option how come they charged 512.83/- as emi processing fee. Now i have to make full payment or they will charge interest which is head blowing (1.5% per month on principal - which is around 1500 per month for three months)
                If any one has faced such problem and has got solution; please let me know through email given at end of this complaint. I shall be grateful to you. We have to be as a team of aware customers to fight against fraud like this. Such fraudsters get away when we keep silent.
                I had made this costly purchase only because it was available for purchase under EMI option. But this type of cheat and fraud has seriously impacted my financial condition. It is almost a month salary to a person like me with a family to look after.
                Can anyone suggest me what action can I take against Axis or Ebay to get what is promised to customers? I have all valid documentation from Ebay as well as bank email correspondences required to sue these criminals but dont know how to proceed.

                See what reply the bank has given to me. This indicates that some sort of customer cheat process is going on in online transactions. How could we consumers be safe against such frauds. A site (ebay) mentions emi facility on Axis credit card, now the transaction is done, the bank says there is no such tie up with ebay. Worst the site( ebay) also charges emi processing fees and customers like me get billed for entire amount including the emi processing fees in one single month- This is simply absurd. As per conversation below bank is asking me to speak to Ebay. And ebay is asking me to visit bank as they say that they have processed the emi and now it is banks responsibility to convert it to EMI. Its end of month now since I am debating on this issue of emi facility and surprisingly ebay is quite on this and Axis is trying its best to avoid taking any moral/legal responsibility for such frauds.
                What is more surprisingly - that ebay is still continuing the emi offer with Axis credit card in emi payment option and Axis is silent while Ebay is minting money by cheating customers.

                BANK's Reply below:

                Dear Mr. Kavade,

                This is with reference to your e-mail with regards to 0 % EMI offer for e-bay purchase done:

                We need to clarify that, Axis Bank does not have any offer / tie up with E-Bay to provide the purchase amount into easy EMI @ 0 % interest as stated from your end.

                However, we would request you to kindly take up your complaint with the merchant as the offer is been done from the merchant's end and not by Axis Bank.

                We also need to inform that, Axis Bank credit card has been the mode of payment towards the purchase done on E-Bay website by the cardholder.
                Further, the EMI facility is available to the new customer(s) also for the minimum purchase of Rs. 2, 500/- done on their card account.

                Further, the emi tenures are for 03, 06, 12 & 24 months respectively for only retail transactions and not for any other cash withdrawal / total outstanding due/ Balance transfer on the card account.

                However, incase if the customer wishes to avail the EMI for his purchases done in future then the customer needs to ensure that there should be no cheque return charges in last 03 months to his card account.

                We also need to clarify that, the total reward points would be purged off once the transaction is been converted into EMI facility and the posting date should not be more than 20 days old.

                Further, there would an processing fee of Rs. 150 or 1.5% of the principal amount (whichever is higher) as a one time fee that would be levied to your card account and there would be a service tax @ 10.30 % on processing fee, EMI interest.

                However, if the customer wishes to pre-close the EMI facility before the tenure opted then he would be charged with Foreclosure charges @ 3 % of Principal (EMI) outstanding.

                In the light of above clarifications, we trust we have answered your query with regards to EMI facility available on your Axis Bank Card Account with regret to accommodate your request further and seek your co-operation on the demand raised at your end.

                We need to reiterate that, basis our earlier e-mail we had informed that the emi offer is not been offered by Axis Bank however the customer has the option of converting his any purchase above Rs. 2, 500 within 30 days of the purchase done and the internal policies / norms of the card are been met.

                Further, we need to state that there has been no offer of making the purchase / converting the purchase done at ebay from our end and the needful has to be done from the merchant's end.

                Post receipt of the required note from the merchant bank the emi conversion would be done on your credit card basis the offer provided by the merchant.

                In the light of above clarifications, we regret our inability to accommodate your request further and would seek your co-operation on the demand raised at your end.

                One more thing I would like to mention..
                I visited the the Axis bank operations office at Ahmedabad a month back when this issue started.
                Their employee told me that I have to wait for 10 days and check if EMI is converted later on.

                And now Axis has altogether a new answer..????
                Further to update on this issue - Surprise surprise -- I got my credit card bill and at the end of my email there was ad by AXIS for 0% emi on ebay purchase for 3 and 6 months. Based on this I again sent an email to greviance cell on 14 th Sept. See the conversation below. I am still with no solution.

                This is with extreme grievance i am writing email. As per your trailing email - you say that Axis does not have any tie up with ebay for emi option. Please refer the attachment received in my email from axis bank. It is the monthly credit card bill. At the end of page you are clearly advertising ebay purchase 3 or 6 month emi option and on other side you are replying to customer that you do not have any such scheme.

                Reply to above is coming everyday " We need to days to process and have initiated an enquiry why this offer was not given to me by axis marketing department.. Shocking cheaters..

                Above email is coming since a week and customers like me are suffering as the amount involved is really big for me. I need solution.
                The EMI option is interest-free for the customer. Please note that the full amount will be charged on your card on the day of the transaction. Within 7 days, you will see a credit for the full amount. The first EMI charge will happen subsequently. If your card's billing date falls within those 7 working days, you need to pay only the EMI amount to the bank.
                Such EMI transactions are at the discretion of your credit card issuing bank. If you have any queries about the EMI plan, we suggest you get in touch with your bank.

                      i sajal gupta have an account approx 5 month later, i get the atm card but i havent get atm password on that time i have several complaint there but the relationship manager there told me u had get the courier password just check at your home,
                      that kind of argue i heared several times, then i call to costumer care no ... i feed all the details he deduct the charges but when i entered the atm pin activation code on that time i heared the voice "ur activation code is wrong"
                      i dont know its nt my fault send me atm password as early as possible

                        i kamlesh gupta have open current account approx 11 month ago in axis bank at kamla nagar agra, on very first time when bank associate nitin arora came to me and promised he opened our priority account on zero balance, we havent pay any charges on the name of low balance, even he promised also we havnt pay anykind of service ceeharges
                        but the bank deducted approx rs 6000/- on my balance
                        i have complaint several times there but they always told me ur money will be back next week next month
                        now i am tired to hear excuse and uncommited promises.

                          This is Dilip Singh, i had applied for the credit card in the month of march i submitted all the documents and a executive commited me that i will get the limitation of min 50k according my salary. when i got my credit card there was the limitation only 20k i was shocked that was cheated with the company when i complained about this nobody was trying to listen and disconnect the call.

                          Now, I am using my credit card whatever i got the limitation amount i know that my bill generated on 30th of the month and have to pay the amount by next 10th of the month. for last 2 months i am getting a severly and harrased call form a lady from this number([protected]) and she talked me rudely everytime. I told several times to that lady please send me the statement that i can check my status even i provided my 2 mail id ([protected]@yahoo.co.in, [protected]@yahoo.co.in) but still i didnt get my statement for last 4 months.


                          I am really fed up with that lady call and whatever i have been cheated from the co.

                              ON 27 MORNING OF JUN 13, I GOT A CALL FROM AXIS BANK HEAD OFFICE LOCATED AT WORLI IN MUMBAI, A REP OF THAT BANK GAVE A CALL TO ME THAT Rs 4000/ HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY SAVING ACCOUNT. THAT REP CONFIRMED TWICE FROM ME THAT I HAVE DONE ANY FINANCIAL TRANSACTION OR NOT. I GAVE A CLEAR CONFIRMATION THAT I HAVE NOT MADE ANY TRANSACTION. SAME DAY A MADE A VISIT TO MY BANK WHERE MY ACCOUNT IS AND THEY ALSO CONFIRMED IT THAT FINANCIAL TRANSACTION HAS BEEN DONE FROM ACCOUNT.                                 I have tried to book the ticket in IRCTC twice on 7th august 2012 and it got failed on both the attempts . But the amount was deducted from my AXIS Bank (Rs 860 + Rs 860).

                                The same case happened on 9th august 2012 where i was debited with rs 242 + rs 242.

                                When i checked with irctc status, it shows "Refunded", "Refund instruction given to bank". But till now i didn't get the amount from AXIS bank.

                                    However, I may inform you that I have not received any Annuity amount till date. Kindly update me on the status of the same.

                                      Inspite of sending cheques before the due date the same are not presented by axis bank and
                                      Undue penalty and interest is charged for non- realisations.
                                      No separate counter is available to register the complaints.
                                      The unrealised ( not presented) cheques are not returned inspite
                                      Of several reminders. The balance outstanding doesn't seem to
                                      Reduce after months even if regular payment is made and all this
                                      Due to illogical penalties and interest.

                                        Axis Bank debited Rs. 17.80 and ST Rs. 2.20 wrongly on 28.07.2012 from my a/c [protected]. First I went to my Branch at Berhampore on 04.08.2012, the bank employees are not agree to entertain about the small amount deduction. A/C Statement shows the charge due to "CONSOLIDATED CHARGE" But after sending a complaint, Axis Bank mail me that the said charge is due to "Off-us ATM Withdrawal Charge" Then I call in toll free service no[protected]. But from the opposite side of telephone request me to give him my 4 digit PIN code to verify the actual cause. I embarrassed at the system. Can any one say me what should I do?

                                        Fist thing first, now that we are aware we can do make free withdrawals from the other bank ATM's, subject to a maximum of five transactions per month, I will suggest you to check and verify with the mini statements or the mobile notifications you get once you withdraw cash from an ATM.

                                        Secondly, it is pity of the bank employees that they do not entertain their customer and you should write an email to customer.[protected]@axisbank.com. They have been good, at least to me, for this matter.

                                        Lastly, you need to provide and verify your banking credentials in order to access your account when you call the toll free helpline number, as it makes sure you are the correct and legitimate person to be provided the details about your financial details, I am sure you would not want any mix-ups with that! Just make sure you are making the call to the correct number, though.
