Hello Sir/Ma'am,

I am maintaining a salary account with HDFC bank since couple of months. A month ago, HDFC bank allegedly dispatched a credit credit card on my name. Moreover, bank sent me an email of credit card statement where annual subscription fee of Rs 1000, plus IGST of Rs 180 (total Rs 1180) was charged. The fact is, I did not receive any credit card in hand and bank charged this subscription fee forcefully.

Immediately after receiving the alleged credit card's statement through email and SMS on registered mobile number, I intimated the bank's customer service division about non-receipt of credit card and requested them for cancellation of alleged charges. I did inform the bank's credit card support division through voice as well as through email. After no proper response from them, an attempt to auto-debit credit card bill through my HDFC salary account was made by HDFC bank. This attempt failed due to lower balance in my salary account. Since then, I sent numerous emails to bank's Grievance redressal team, greater grievance redressal team and senior management but no response arrived, except auto-generated emails. I complained about this issue to HDFC customer care over phone too. Details of all reference numbers mentioned below.

I humbly request you to intervene and help me get justice by cancelling the credit card as well as alleged charges. It has been over a month now for this drama by the bank and credit card bill is also growing with time. This could happen with anyone and bank may turn unresponsive all of a sudden. These sort of attempt by private banks to loot their customers will seriously become hurdle in establishing trust with these RBI approved dacoits. Looking forward to have your intervention in the matter. Thank you so much in anticipation.

No response from the bank till now. Grievance redressal of the bank is so poor. The bank does these sorts of frauds very often.
Still there is no response from the bank and I got credit card bill of the next month also. Pls help! HDFC bank is really setting the worst example in the name of customer service.

      Hello sir / mam,

      I am left with no other option but to write my complaint on this forum. I have been chasing hdfc life since last 3 months it is very sad that hdfc life representatives are not able to resolve my concern for such a long duration.

      My mother (Mrs. Kumkum singhal) has enrolled for a hdfc life policy (Policy #[protected] in 2014. But due to some personal reasons, she wished to surrender the policy after 3 years in 2017.

      We approached hdfc life office (Rdc, ghaziabad) in september 2017 and completed all the formalities for surrendering the policy. We were assured that within 2-3 weeks our amount would be credited to our account. It's been almost 3 months and we have neither received the amount in our account nor any of the hdfc life representative has been able to provide us the satisfactory answer about why there is a delay in our refund.

      I feel that we have been trapped with hdfc life. Hdfc life representatives have misguided us to get enrolled in this policy. Hdfc life's operation team & service desk are also not able to resolve my queries & concerns from a very long time now. This is really very frustrating. Hdfc life don't understand their customer's priorities, need & emergencies. I would rate this experience a pretty bad one and would never be able to trust private banks again.

      I did not expected such an irresponsible conduct from a brand like hdfc. Hope my concern gets acknowledged & resolved soon.

      For your kind information, our request was never resolved. Please re-open the the same request, if it has been closed at your end. How can you close a service request without notifying your customer. It is a failure on part of your Customer support team.

      We have never received any satisfactory answer for our our request.

      If it is resolved asap, I would have to post my dissatisfaction on social media, so that I make sure, none of my contacts fall prey to your unfriendly policies.

        priority pass - lounge charges imposed

        Hi i am a holder of hdfc regalia card where i had received priority pass for using lounges across airport terminals which is complimentary for some visits on yearly basis. I had used the priority pass in domestic terminal on 31st july, and also few other times later. Unfortunately for july i have been billed inr 4133. Reason not known, here are the issues
        1. I have not submitted my credit card during the visit, so i dont have any idea...

        Fasttag has been assigned for customerid[protected]. There are access deductions of 380 inr as adjustment entry on 10/16/2017. After that i am constantly trying to call the customer service but no response or no fruitful result. I have emailed all the details to their email ids hdfc. [protected]@sahaj.co.in, but no response in approx past 2 months. Their online portal is not working too, 10 days ago on 4 th december i could lodge a online service request, but there is no response.
        Hdfc has such a pathetic service when fastag is concerned. They are doing organized loot from this service. I am customer of hdfc bank from past 7 years, seeing their service i opted their fastag, but such a pathetic service from hdfc and sahaj.

        Whosoevr read this post, please do not apply fastag from hdfc if you want mental peace.

          Hi, i have salary account in hdfc 2 years back when i was working at that time. After that i changed company & they provided other bank account. Recently i changed new company. The new company have using only hdfc salary accounts. But my hdfc exsisted old salary account showing -9000 balance.
          The bank converts my salary account converted into savings account & charged monthly.. Now its 9000 negative balance. Without my permission how can the bank convert my salary account into savings account? Even they are not intimated verbally... According to rbi guidlines on savings account banks not charge even its negative balance.
          I approach branch, but they behaved rudly & refuse to close account.
          Plz juistice to me. 9000 is huge amount to me. What is the solution?

          I visited to branch today which is in DLF phase 1, I am literally disappointed by the branch manager "Ashish" behavior who directly and bluntly denied not to wave off the charges or to close account. paying 9k negative balance will be a big amount for me. I am literally disappointed by the service of HDFC bank. I would request to solve this issue asap.

          Even I am disappointed by their services.
          Poor HDFC bank employees making up their salary by customers money. Their customer service is more of sales service selling different types of loans instead of solving customer issues. Never follows up back nor reachable.

                    I have a complain regarding my amount (Inr 1450) is on hold.

                    Case-
                    I have a bank account in hdfc and my friend has his account in indusind bank. My friend transferred me inr 725 through indusind bank ios app on date 14 sept, 17. But when amount was deducted 3 times (725 each time) from his bank and transaction details are also showing that. I have also received the amount 3 times (725 each time). My friend informed me that extra amount is credited to you and then i transfer the inr 1450 (Extra two times credited) amount.

                    Indusind bank might have raised a complain and eventually my money (Inr 1450) had gone on hold by hdfc bank.

                    What i want is: i want my hdfc to remove hold from my money as there is no concern from my friend because i have transferred the amount to him.
                    If bank ask me to deduct money from my account and want to give refund to my friend, then i have no concern as i can get the amount from him manually.

                      I have opened 2 demate accounts 2 month ago with 1200 rs advance brokerage name. Till now i am hdfc dealer is not abe to map my acount. Could you please let me know how to close this accounts and how i can get refund of this account. Its waste of money. Now every day customer care officer says within 24hrs it will be done. Since now not happended. So please let me know how we can close this account. And initiate refund also

                        I was taken life insurance on nov 25 2017 and i was said to bank i can't able to pay the total amount (52, 250/-rs) at a time.. And bank staff said and forced me to take the insurance on credit card and that amount will be converted into emi..! Actually i don't know the process and i was believed that staff.. Now (14/12/2017) they are saying that 52250/- rs was not converted into emi and i should pay total amount at a time.. What the hell is going on there? I was said i can't able to pay at a time and i was agreed for emi.. Now the bank staff are asking total amount a time.. How a common man can pay that much of amount at a time? Why did you cheated on me? I was contacted to bank staff and they are saying "sry sir, we don't know.. U must pay the full amount now..!"...
                        They are very reckless staff.. Kindly convert my insurance to emi or cancel it...!

                        I can't pay the total amount at a time now.. Kindly resolve this issue.. Hdfc bank staff were cheated on me.. Kindly take an action.. I can provide all the details including with name and are with contact numbers to you...

                        Kindly don't cheat on your customers..!

                          While transfering from sbi credit card to payzapp 5000 money blocked,
                          This is happen three times so totally 15000 money blocked, it happened before 3 months. I am calling to all sbi customer care and payzapp customer care also, but payzapp customercare no is not responding. Daily i am calling to sbi customer care and payzapp customer nos. To whom i need to contact and how i will get my money back.

                            I had applied for personal loan in hdfc. Initially they told me that rate of interest is 10.99%. So i submitted the documents. After approval also... The called and confirmed that interest is 10.99% and i will get a free insurance coverage for the same. Later next day they are calling and telling interest is 13.5% and i have to pay 6k for insurance. How cunning. They are not responding properly and they are not reducing it. They will not even pick the call.

                              I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 4789 without my concern on date 01/12/2017 for oneassist mfee. It shows in my unbilled amount.

                              I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So i sumbitted a complaint on this forum (www.consumercomplaints.in) on 04/12/2017 and requested to cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/-.

                              On 05/12/2017, i got response from mr. Manoj (Hdfc bank customer assistance) and from mr. Sagar (Team oneassist). Mr. Sagar replied - "as per your request, we have cancelled your plan vide service request no. 2624739 & the refund will get processed in 7 working days".

                              But i am very much shocked by knowing that in spite of cancelling my oneassist fee, they converted it to smart emi (I. E.- loan) and also charged rs.100 for processing fee and rs.18 for gst.

                              I got email that -

                              "we are pleased to grant you smartemi as per the details stated below.
                              Loan no. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx8364
                              Unsecured loan type smartemi
                              Amount rs.1399.00
                              Fixed interest rate 1.50% p. M.
                              Tenure 3 months
                              Emi rs.480.39 (Excluding gst @ 18%)*
                              Processing fee rs.100.00
                              Preclosure charges 3% (Of principal outstanding at the time of closure) + gst @ 18%"


                              I have never opted for smartemi. Hdfc and oneassist once again made a mistake. They converted my oneassist mfee to smartemi. This is again an unauthorized transaction.

                              I contacted their customer care department by phone and also send emails on [protected]@oneassist.in, termloans. [protected]@hdfcbank.net, customerservices. [protected]@hdfcbank.com. I got acknowledgement receipt. But no action is taken. Till today (I. E.- 14/12/2017), my complaint is unsolved.

                              So both - hdfc bank & one assist - are kindly requested to:

                              1) stop unauthorized debiting various charges.
                              2) refund my oneassist mfee.
                              3) cancel my dial an emi of rs. 1399/-
                              4) refund my smartemi processing fee rs. 100/- + gst rs. 18/- along with interest charged + preclosure charges 3% + gst @ 18%.
                              5) please do not give me any more shock that could cause me a heart attack...!

                                The worst service i have ever seen in all bank is by hdfc bank. They put my whole amount on hold for not being paid credit card payment. And i have paid minimum due amount every month as genuine customer. You people can check my record as well. Just because i have not paid one month due amount they kept my whole amount on hold. This is so irritating. I have visited bank thrice before salary by asking them are you sure once i will receive salary nothing will happen to my account and automatically due amount will get deducted from my account so that i do not have to visit bank again. And for your kind information my auto debit is on for my account and even i have visited bank and let bank person to on my auto debit for my account. And as expected due amount didn't get deducted after auto debit was on. This let me suffer a lot. At present i don't have single penny in my hand bank person refused to help me. They asked me to call cx care and cx care gave me collection dept number and misbehave with me as i was so irate at that point of time. Instead of letting me calm down she started misbehaving with me. Plus she has given me collection department number i have called more than 10 times they are disconnecting my call and not getting any call back from them. Number given by cx care dept for collection team is [protected] and 02. And when collection team department used to call me they used to irritate me to pay this amount even after when i told them i will pay once i will receive my salary. And today when i have called them they even didn't pick up the call. So pissed up from your services. If i am not ready to pay the amount then you people could do that i would have never felt bad but when i am ready to pay the amount and this happened to me. This is so irritating. I have written this to your all concerend directors and ceo of hdfc bank and if i will not get any resolution in 24 hours i would love to give review on twitter.

                                Wao! I have received a call from complaints department from HDFC by stating till the time I won't give the whole payments they wont release my amount. I simply told them If would have never paid the due amount then I would love to pay the whole amount. But just because I missed one month due amount and this happened to me. I am also gonna do police complain for that. This shouldn't happened in this way. I need solution for that. or want my money back. Even I told her deduct the total due amount 10k and give rest back she was not ready and said pay whole amount then only rest will release.

                                  I had taken a hdfc life insurance policy no. 15555448 and my client id is 59733123 and plan description is hdfcsl classic assure.
                                  And paid first installment by chq. No. 44642 dated 31/10/2012.
                                  For the payment of second installment i had given chq. For amt of rs. 12500 to mr. Varun in the presence of mr. Aashish mathur of hdfc bank, kutchery road, ajmer. (Rajasthan) during the grace period may 2013. But they have not submitted in time for whatsoever, my second installment not paid by him. I got information he losted my cheque given him to pay. Then i had given another cheque of same amount. Again due to some panelty issue he hasn’t submitted that cheque also.
                                  I requested so many times in the presence of mr ashish he said you don’t worry sir.
                                  After that all the installments have been pending. Due to negligence of your employees (Mr. Varun), why customer will suffer.
                                  At last when i said to refund my previous (First installment) amount they said you don't worry, we are trying to refund. After that about this much time they are doing nothing.
                                  After that i requested to personnel bankers mr ashish mathur to do something, and to mr. Pratik tandon (Ex emp.) and at present mr. Vishnu sharma and branch manager also. They said if you pay remaining instalments now then policy can be continue.
                                  I was also agreed but still they have not given any notice/information to pay.
                                  Sir i don't want to continue this insurance policy now, pl refund my previous.

                                  Sir i had sent above complaint to hdfc life.

                                  Hi, please note that post receiving your email, the response informing to you about the total due premiums to be paid for reviving your policy was email by us on on September 06, 2017. Further, the policy is only cancelled with in the freelook period.

Samit banerjee, resident of asansol, west bengal having a "hdfc children's double benefit plan" (Bearing no. 11340110 with client id no.[protected] with your esteemed company. Sir, i was deposited a sum of rs. 1765/- by cash for four quarter of[protected]. But unfortunately i was seriously ill
                                    During november 2008 onward. Therefore i cant be able to continue the plan after 2008 as financially myself become very week due to huge expenses occurred during my hospitalization.

                                    My humble request to you that please refund my principal amount lying with you and oblige. If possible please arrange to pay some interest as my money was lying in your
                                    Company for last ten years long.

                                    Please find enclosed two nos. Receipt for two quarters duly receipted by your branch for your further action please. Arrange to return my deposited money immediately as the trust of common people like me upon hdfc is never ends.

                                      Dear friends,

                                      I got a call from call center from landline number saying that they are calling from hdfc loan department and offered 0% loan for 10 years against policy bonds has to be purchased from future generali company's pearl guarantee. They given me their mobile no. [protected] to send my documents through whatsapp for approval. Very next day they said loan of rs, 3, 00, 000/- has been approved and sent me a link for online payment to future generali. When i told them it is a general online policy purchase link there is nothing has been mentioned about loan. When i contacte them again they connected me to their senior mr. Siddarth gupta mobile no: [protected] and assured tht after policy purchase he will send everything in details by hard copy and hdfc agreement documents. I told him to send a mail by mentioned details of your verbal assurance as loan conformation and further processing to purchase policy. He denied that he is not authorized to send mail. I wonder how he can assured a guarantee of loan even he is not authorized to send conformation mail?
                                      I am requesting all of you don;t fall to the trap laid by these fraudulent agency who get omission money after selling company product.
