I was using debit card of HDFC bank , same lost at ATM card , on 9th may 2012. since passed year i have not received proper details as well as answers form both the banks . (HDFC & Canara ) . I have visited at branches of hdfc they have told to fallow up with canara bank i have visited 7-8 branches till not get any replay , escalated matter on mails to higher authorities they have told for FIR same have sent team, till the time i have not received any answer as well as no action was taken.
also requested for the CCTV Photos still no body have replied .

i have lost my 25,000/-
cash withdraw from Canara bank ATM, & ATM ID :28297118 Location : new Sangvi pune

Time of theft :- 10.45 to 11.15 am on 9th May.

hope some body will help me in this issue

I Mr. sandeep kumar singh saveing account holder in vijaya bank bandra (w) . this is pertaning to my debit card no. 421341xxxxxxxxx1 transaction which was made in perry road bandra west state bank of india ATM ID S1AN00030035 the amount rs.1900/- was debited the tranction was unsuccessful plaese look into the matter as i want my amount to be reimbursed back into my account.

this is naveen kumar from hyderabad, miyapur. today 03.03.12 time 7:10pm. i withdraw amount 3000 rs from hdfc bank. in this time i entered 3000 rs but atm machine msg came your transaction being in process. i wait some time but cash not came out, but in my icici account amount 3000rs debited . so please solve my problem as soon as possible.

    I have a home loan from HDFC for the past one year. As per my account statement issued by HDFC or available on my online account with HDFC, my re-payment track record for the home loan has been perfect for the entire tenure till date. My payment is through ECS from my salary account and get debited every month on the due date, without any issues. Today, i got my CIBIL report, and i was shocked to see that despite an impeccable payment record, HDFC has shared info with CIBIL which says that twice (Mar'13 and June'12) i have gone 30 days past due date before making my my payments. My bank statements and HDFC account statements show a complete different picture, they clearly show that all payments have happened on the due date, without fail. Now, i dont think people at HDFC understand the impact of misreporting of such facts on CIBIL scores, or for that matter, the attitude of the customer call centre rep showed that they couldnt care less. I think HDFC trains its call centre personnel to be rude and indifferent to customers!! As per the extremely rude call centre person, HDFC doesnt report anything to CIBIL, and that i should talk to CIBIL to get this resolved. When i tried explaining to her about what CIBIL does and how banks share information with CIBIL, I was given the weirdest possible logic: I was told that since my payment date is 5th of every month, i am five days late every month (HDFC expects payment by 30th every month). It didnt occur to HDFC that they are the ones who give customers options to choose payment date from 3 options (5th, 15th or 25th of every month). And so, just randomly, for 2 months (June'12 and Mar'13) they reported me to be late by over 30 days!!! There was just too much more of such crappy logic for me to take from a rude, completely ignorant and uninformed HDFC call centre rep. While i have initiated my loan transfer process to another bank, HDFC needs to correct the CIBIL reporting on my account. I will take them to media and consumer court if they dont rectify. God help people who have to interact with their call centre. What a pain!!

      I am the ex-employee of the bank. But I totally disappointed the HR practices followed by the HDFC Bank Ltd specially in Gujarat State. HR personnels are not neutral. What they thought during the induction programmme relationg to processes and procedures that every employee of bank should follow were not implemented in Branch of Navsari-0135.

      There is no process adherence at Navsari-0135 branch whether it is in area of a/cing opening time period, locker operation, record maintance, customers did not receive the F/D and R/D receipt from directly.

      Auditors were not submit the neutral report for bank audits to respective cluster and zonal heads.

      Branch did not follow the 7:30 pm, bank closure time.

      HR personnel did not send a mail or letter relating to employee profile change main within the branch.

      There is communication gap between the Employee and HR personnel. some of the HR personnel think that senior officer are always are rights.

      THEN MY QUESTION IS "WHY THEY SELECT FRESH EMPLOYEES TO THEIR ORGANISATION, WHEN SENIORS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT?

      ITS MY REQUEST TO RBI, MR. ADITYA PURI AND MR. THOMSON SIR (ZONAL HEAD-GUJARAT) TO INTERVENE IN RECRITMENT, SELECTION, TRANSFER WITHIN THE BRANCH OR IN OTHER BRANCH OF EMPLOYEES, GAMES PLAYED BY SUPERVISORS, WORKING HOURS OF BANK. EMPLOYEE GROUPING WITHIN THE BRANCH.

      When some of the employees want to follow the neutral procedures of bank, there is always a problem. I also passed through this stage.

      Though i resigned from the bank. I dropped this complaint because more or less, few employees are face this problem. but they did not have any other earning means, they did not to raise their voice.

      If this is going on, ethical employee will not survive in this type of working environment and it may possible that Bank will loose his-her valuable Human Asset.

      HR policies of the HDFC bank Ltd specially at a Ahmedabad HR policies are not neutral.
      HR personnel send the new joinees to any branch without informing the each and every staff of the branch where the training is going to be provided by the branch staff.
      HR personnel did not issue the transfer letter to any employee within the or outside the branch transfer.
      HR personnel listen the any query regarding any employee from only supervisors point of view. No two communication between junior level employee and HR personnel.

      At Navsari-0135 branch, there is lots of politics. They did not follow the RBI guidelines in some areas which are very crucial from the banking regulation perspective,

      its my request to RBI governor-Subbarao, Mr. Aditya Puri and Mr. Thomson Sir (Zonal Head-gujarat), please take the corrective actions.

        I have told HDFC people in personal and registered complaint on HDFC bank site many times but still I these people are calling me.
        If I want any service from HDFC I will come to your office. please dont call me.

          Hi..
          i have an salary bank account with hdfc bank.i am from hcl technologies.
          I tried to withdraw in a non hdfc bank ATM and the transaction was declined .as i remember it is becouse of that atm not having 100 rs note or something yaa this is the reason. Later I came to know that my account is charged by hdfc Bank for the ATM decline charges as Rs 28.1.RBI allows customers to do upto 5 transactions in other bank ATMs and mine is an salary account with no charges as told by there representative on the day they came and lied us no extra charges are there.
          I am extremely unhappy with the ATM Decline charges that is levied by hdfc Bank on its customers as customers are charged when they are not aware of existence of such charges.
          this is just eating and fooling customers .we are charges even for atm's having no money or sortage of some specific type of currency.

          When I spoke to the customer care executive they refunded the amount once but now they refused to reverse the charges. I am just thinking of what to do by holding accounts with such bank.
          but i advice people not to use this sort of bank's specially hdfc.

          HDFC — ATM decline charges - HDFC

          Hi,

          Is it within the IBA/RBI norms to deduct ATM decline charges during the period APR 1 2009 - OCT 15 2009. During this period other bank ATM transacations have been made free as per RBI gudelines. Could anyone please tell me?

              I am currently holding these two policies in question

              Policy No. 13060983 bought in August 2009, Premium- Rs 55,000
              Policy No. 15359580 bought in August, 2012, Premium–Rs 55,000

              Please note that I wanted to prematurely surrender my policy 13060983–Unit Linked Endowment Plus II; in 2012 after paying regular premiums for 3 yrs (2009,2010,2011) as I was not satisfied with the type of growth and returns, nor did I wish to pay an annual premium of Rs 55,000. The HDFC advisor-thru his smart salesmanship advised me to buy this new policy –HDFC Savings Assurance Policy, saying that this is one time investment saving plan and that the funds-3 premiums paid in the old policy will be diverted to fund the new policy thereafter.

              The advisor suggested that the old policy 13060983 invests in Equity, while the Savings Assurance Policy invests in debts and is thus risk assured. Besides, Funds from old policy will cater to funds required for new policy. But that has not been the case. I am being asked to pay annual premiums for both policies. That was not my understanding. That was all smart salesmanship of the HDFC advisor, cheating me into buying a new policy to fulfill his targets.

              Besides, he had promised a Gold Coin being given on purchase of new policy, which has not been delivered to me till date. I followed the advisor for the same for a long time, but to no avail. There was never a revert from his side.

              I cannot continue with both these policies. And that is why, request for cancellation of the new policy and that funds of it can pay 4th premium of old policy[protected].

              I hold a long standing healthy relationship with HDFC as all my current & savings a/c are with HDFC & am a preferred customer. I have also bought another Policy ‘Youngster Suvidha’, paying an annual premium of Rs 40,000 towards that.

              I am pained by how these advisors cheat us

                Personal — miss behaving

                From 23 june to 28 june i came in your branch sec 17 faridabad haryana daily for completion of my pass book but your staff is telling me our printer is not working come tommorow.
                this answer is being given by your staff since 23 june. when i asked your branch manager he shouted on me n told me that is our technical problem and i cant help you. when i asked when should i come he told me that he dont know.
                i am your custmer from last 22 years and i have more than 7 accounts of my family in your branch. i have not met this kind of manager before kindly do the need full.my account no is saving 1296.my residence add is 294 sec 17 faridabad haryana.

                    My phone number is on the National Do Not Disturb Registry. On May 21st 2013 at 16:10 Hrs IST I received a solicitation call from HDFC loans about their loan offer.
                    Reference number to an earlier complaint I had given Airtel regarding this was 50424556.
                    For May 21st 2013 the new complaint reference number is 50632572
                    HDFC has been repeatedly calling my Airtel number [protected]
                    Despite Airtel having confirmed that a warning notice has been sent I continue to receive such phone calls.

                    Please help to stop such calls from HDFC Loan Sales team.

                      I have purchased a two wheeler through credit card by 72635 rupees. But 74450/- rupees was debited from my credit card account. I have already complained against this surcharge & submitted one dispute form 3months before.

                      But, once again this surcharge is showing in credit card bill of Jan’13.

                      As per you demand, I have already sent all documents as my proof. But unfortunately it was not reached to you. Once again I have submitted another dispute form with all purchased proof in January’13. But, still now I am not getting any response from HDFC bank credit card department.
                      That’s why I have totally stopped using this credit card.

                      Actually on 19th Aug’2012, I have purchased a two wheeler for my Brother Sk. Jiaul Hoque from Rajkumar Automobiles Sales (P) Ltd. in Midnapur by Rs.72635.18/-. But their Credit Card swiping machine was not working on that day. They told me to swipe my credit card at their friend’s Shop M/S Billimoria Brothers & they will collect the case from M/S Billimoria Brothers. Also they told me that no extra charge will be added on this transaction.
                      Also in that time I have no idea about the surcharge.


                      So that, please deduct the extra amount (Rs. 1815.88/-) & all fines from my account. Otherwise I will never pay any extra charges & fines.

                      Two Wheeler purchases case memo is attached with the latter as a proof. Please check it.

                      I can't attached others document as aproof due to low capasity of attachment.

                      HDFC Credit Card — HDFC Credit: Invalid Surcharge

                      I've fueled my bike and paid the payment by my HDFC C.C, as i've been told that no sur charge will be charged on any petrol payment, still I've been charged with Rs. 10 on it.
                      No action has been taken from the bank, after several emails, as i can not afford to go at the branch just for Rs. 10/-.
                      Just sheet service.
                      As per my last statement, my bill was of 3126.25 but I need to pay only 2911.72/- as there was some opening balance of -214.53/-
                      .
                      Therefore, I would like inform you that in last month I made 2 transactions (petrol) one was of 1450/- and the another was of 1500/- & according to your company/bank rules you had put a surcharge of 87.50/- & 88.75/- respectively, than I made phone call at customer care & had a word with Mr. Ikshit on dated 26 July 2009 at 12:00 a.m., regarding the reversal of the Surcharge & he had committed that the bank will revert this amount in the next statement, at that moment he was not in position to revert this amount as well as to provide the request no.because of some techniqual problem in the system.

                      Moreover, he had suggested me to make one more call in morning after 7:00 a.m. than you will get the reversal as well as the request number, so when I called up again on 28 July 2009 & had a word with Mr. Gitesh Nijara & with Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari they had refused to give that reversal.

                      In addition, I would like to inform you that all the transaction made at B.P. Pumps & according to my information; there would be no surcharge on the Bharat Petroleum Pumps.

                      Please note that my average petrol transaction is of around[protected]/- per month in case if I have to pay around 90/- on each transaction than it really doest not make any sense to use your card.

                      So, It was really a great experience with your bank and also thankful for your services now, I am not at all interested to do any further dealing with your Bank.

                            It's been almost a month calling and requesting customer care for the solution but have NOT got any solution till yet.

                            It is embarrasing to have a problem with HDFC bank inspite of the fact that I am a saving account holder for last 4 yrs.

                            I am sharing the false commitment made by HDFC employees:-

                            HDFC staff Neha (name told to me) called me and somehow convinced me to take the credit card on the basis of 3 points:
                            1) The card AMC will be approx 275 +taxes.
                            2) The card with the limit of 2.50 lac.
                            3) I can convert all my purchases into EMI through calling HDFC bank.

                            Unfortunately, it was totally opposite :-
                            1) The card AMC charges were approx 400+taxes
                            2) The limit is only Rs 50,000.
                            3) NO EMI option from the bank.

                            Moreover, the HDFC Staff member who collected my papers did not allow me to fill the form..he just took the signatures and told me that he will fill up the form in the bank as he does not have the time and has to reach office asap.

                            I have called Cutomer Care, Grievance department and spoken to N number of HDFC executives and Manager but no solution yet...I would request you to please look into it seriously to avoid this these fradulent cases with other people.

                            Looking for the quick resolution.

                            I have an HDFC credit card for a few years now. Few months ago, I opted for the SmartPay facility, where my mobile and telephone bills will be automatically paid by the Credit Card. I was promised that there will not be any processing fee for this. Also, there was a promise of 5% Cash Back. HDFC started paying the bills and also a processing fee of Rs. 10 per bill payment (3 per month, in this case). Also, I never received any cash back amount till date. The bills due this month were not paid, so I had to face problems from my service provider.
                            When I called customer care to lodge a complaint, I had to pressurize them to give me a complaint number. I was also told that "No Action" will be taken regarding the non-payment and "false promise" of cash back and no processing fee. Now, to cancel the facility I have to personally go to the bank and drop a letter, vis-a-vis, when they wanted me to sign up, they kept sending their executives to my office for 1 week continuously.

                            HDFC bank agent has come and told will pay ur Electriciy bill, phone and mobile and insurance etc.,
                            with 5% cash back and no extra fee. then I applied for that.
                            now they sent one mail saying that every quater you have to pay Rs25/-.
                            whe he came, he told me its absolutely free no charges. you will get back money.
                            wt a bank yaar... please dont believe anything from HDFC bank

                              This is in reference to the transaction made into my account without intimating me by HDFC Bank.

                              An amount of Rs 842.70 has been debited on 13th May from my salary account, mentioning about "DEPOSITORY CHARGES APR[protected]".

                              I mean, I cannot understand to what extent the bank can go to deduct money from the account without mentioning any reason.
                              The bank follows no principles and never thinks twice to harass a customer. And the bank salesperson are the worst people you can come across. They just want to sell you products at any cost and not giving you the right information on anything especially the charges associated with it.

                              Requesting you to please do something about this and get my money refunded back into my account.

                                I am Saravanan from chennai. I am using HDFC credit card since 2 years. I got a call before 5 months, and the voice says
                                "We are providing exclusive offer (i.e) Cash on call, If you want you can just click apply thro netbanking. Amount will credit with in 2 days. Etc..etc.." On that time i didn't accept it Bcoz, I no need that offer on that time. But now I really need for money(not huge amount) the bankers are being professionals, They are gently replied "Sir, as per bank policy now you are not eligible for the product, we can give you another exciting offer....i.e...etc.etc." I surprised Because my credit limit also extended. I am not having sense about the bank policy.

                                My question and suggestion is when we need we can get, when we don't why can we ?

                                But my brother using CITI bank card, They are providing anytime cash on call facility. My suggestion is, if you are going to buy a new credit card don't go with HDFC. Go a head with other providers.

                                Credit Card — cash availing facility not provided

                                Ihave got ICICI Bank credit. card no"[protected]" issued on 11/08 valid till 11/12. Total credit limit available 1, 52, 000. Out of which I have purchased aprox.13, 500/- last payment done 1700/- & cleared till purchase of 13, 500/-. Now Rs.13500/- balance is there in my account.will be due end of this mar-09. Now I want to meet my hospital eepence, for this I have tried to withdraw money in ICICI ATM many times but transaction is refused. When I have contact ICICI Customer care regaring cash withdrawl facilities, they told till 6 months cash transaction facility will not be given.
                                I have not told regarding this rules during issue of the card from bank authorities.
                                Regarding Electricity bill payment ICICI charged annual fees. But now they refused to provide this facility.For this many times I have approched customer care but no proper response got it from ICICI. This is totally arogance of the bank towards customer.Please look into the matter seriously & do the needful

                                  I already have a Personal loan from HDFC bank and the interest rate is 18%. One day the customer care of HDFC bank called me and told there was an Offer for new personal loan from HDFC the offer is the interest rate is 14%. So I applied for that I took 1,00,000 rs.and Closed my previous loan but they cheated me its interest rate is 18.5%.
                                  I have all the evidence I recorded their call conversation.
                                  So i want to file a complaint against HDFC personal loan dept.

                                  Dear sir, I have taken loan[protected] ,lan-no.-[protected], company gave 94493rs after dedution. I paid 113386rs till date now i want to pay pending amount in one payment but company demand 42000rs more at 18% rate of interest .I request to company that do not charge interest for rest of period .I will pay rest of amount if interest is reasonable.company collection executive abuse us every time they come.they did not know the origenal matter, this negative approach can not resolve matter.

                                  Hi Sir,

                                  I have taken personal loan from HDFC Bank in July 2009. When i applied for loan, at that time they said it is pre-approved loan for 1 Lakh, so the process was some what taking less time to get money into my account, but the main thing is when i was filling up it was mentioned 17% interest rate but i shocked to see that when i received loan agreement document, where it is mentioned that interest rate is 19%, please let me know what can i do in this case? i really want to complain it. I request all to help me in this case.

                                    HDFC Standard Life Insurance is fraud and they sell there products by providing the wrong information.

                                    At the time of purchasing the policy they give me lot of offers, however after purchasing they didn't give me any. Please help me, I don't want to continue and entire money invested by me return back to me.

                                      I wanted to submit cash deposit in my HDFC account but was denied on the basis that Cash transfer is not allowed in Salary account. My salary account number is [protected] . I was doing this transaction at Koti Branch, Hyderabad. After much questioning and complaining the manager asked us to write on a paper the reason why I wanted to deposit money in my own account!

                                      Even though after arguing for an hour with the concerned person and getting the money deposited, My question is that if I wanted to receive money for some emergency,the bank is not helping me and instead making the situation worse for me. The kind of service HDFC is providing is very strange for me. I mean HDFC is bank where you can deposit cash but denied.

                                      I do have other bank accounts and never faced such problem, but only in HDFC i came across this strange problem. Sorry to say i don't have other alternative than complaining to RBI and shutting down my HDFC account or make use of HDFC to the minimum. I will not recommend HDFC to any of my friends.

                                        My valuable time is wasted because of HDFC!

                                        HDFC least cares about customer service. Horrible experience to get a response from them for more than two weeks and nobody from HDFC has taken ownership of my problem! My ECS has started and automatically deducted the EMI from my bank account but the home loan statement still showing as outstanding and on top of it charged additional interest. Mailed multiple times but nobody responded. I visited their office in Singapore and i was told "what we can do is send the information to the office in India and you can wait for them to reply". HDFC is lousy bank and I suggest anyone new to HDFC please don't operate with them as their quality of service is pathetic. When i go to India i will look into the options on how to get out from HDFC.

                                        I will try to post my frustration in all social media sites that i know of as i really want this bank to close down if they don't bother to improve their service quality and waste people's valuable time.
