Hi All,

3 months back I had applied for cancellation of HDFC Bank - Titanium International Credit Card by calling customer care number and that was the mistake which I did. I was given with incorrect information that, it would be processed and I would need to pay the full due amount once I get a call from other department. However I had not recieved any call from either from cancellation department and I had to urgently go out of country for 3 months .I had made the payment for minimum due amount but I was late since it took time to transfer amount to India.

I was surprised when I came back to India to see that my card was not cancelled and on the other hand I was charged late payment fees for 3 months irrespecitve of my request for cancellation of the card.

I was shocked when I called customer care number to know the status and got to know that I need to submit a letter with my signature in HDFC Bank. When I mentioned about the information provided earlier then I got a response that, We are sorry that you got a wrong information from them and late payment fees cannot be reversed. I am so disappointed with this response from them.

Saddest part is that, I had asked for solution and the reply which I recieved is 'Standard' email from them.

I request you not to opt for credit card from HDFC Bank.

titanium card — harassment bills for non accepted card

SCB TITANIUM CARD NO. [protected]: CANCELLATION AND OUTSTANDING BILLS

I hold SCB Gold card no [protected] since 1996.

Now I was asked to take this titanium Card No[protected]r4893 and this card was forwarded . However I did not wish to accept this card in the terms and conditions it was offered and they were intimated according. So, it was cancelled and all charges including the annual fees for the card was reversed by a client service officer on phone.

However, I find that same are appearing again and again repeatedly in the monthly bills as arrears. This is harassment. I feel no harrast smen can be caused and no cards can be forced on any one.

Request you to make sure that this is stopped and proper correct bills are only presented against my cards

what should I do now ?

HDFC TITANIUM CREDIT CARD — INFORMATION

no. [protected] which is going to expire on Aug. 2008.
As i am now away from Delhi (home), My limit of card limit was
already enhanced to 2.25 lack in April 2008 by HDFC Excusitive.
i want the fabour/information that how it possible to get the new updated
next upper level of cradit card before 15th july 2008 as i will be
away to in some assignment to abroad for more than six months
from mid of july 2008.

HDFC Credit Card — extra charges

Respedted Sir,
myself Raj Kumar jamwal from chandigarh I had made a HDFC credit card in dec2008, and i had withdraw 15000 cash and some purchasing of rs.3500. I had taken loan of card rs.20000 in same month but i have not received any statement from HDFC.but in th month of march recovery agent called me that you have not deposit payment of credit card and then they come at home he demand for rs.4300 which is i have paid i demand him for statement but he said we will send it to u by mail but by mail they have send it but i was not able to open this after try. I dont know how much they are charging interest i m reugulary paying money every month but they didnt given me any sattlement for extra interest.I m not aware that which is due date for payment and ther are charging alot. just tell me what i have to do further.

HDFC BANK (Credit card) — extra charges

Dear Sir,
I have complaint so many time to HDFC bank costumer care but he is not given me my reversel. He alwayes not geving me my statment on time and charge extra. When i asked to customet care exutive he told me i am not giving u to revirsel. so I request to u please help me in this matter.

titanium card — statment problem

i am holding a titanium card No [protected] launch a complaint at your customer care lots of time that i am not getting statemnt at my mailing add regularly. because of that i am not able to see the transactions now it was showing above Rs 4000/- with your SMS i am not purchasing any thing on that card then how can you show that much amt please clerify it and i request to you that please send me the soft copy on my email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in regularly.

Credit Card — titanium card charges

Abn amro credit card deptt upgrade my gold card to titanium he sad no charges for upgrade to titanium, but after i got card after 1 month bank sent me statement with charges of titanium card Rs 3000+ 309 tax very strange, when i call bank they said you activated your card , even i didn;t requested for the same. bank is cheating to customers very badly. again and again....

I am having a Credit Cerd with your Bank as 'TITANIUM Card' # xxxx xxxx xxxx 9005, since Feb-Mar. '08. In begining during conversations with your 'Oneway Line holder Executive' for my mobile's bills, and as per request to be paid by our bank, and afterwards will add in your monthly bills, and I agreed which is my "BIG" mistakes as I belive, because before this, I was having my Mobile with same No. as "Post Paid Customer" since more then 7 years, but not a single time problem raised which I am suffering today since August-08 onwards up to till date.
Your Excellent services of Cr. Dept. haven't despatch me the said bill of Aug-08, so I can't make payment to your bank as reguler bases which I paid in previous months. The very next month I got "Two months" combind bills with said "Notice" !!!!!!!! [First time in my life] with additions of Your 'INTEREST' and related taxes, which are totaly wrong, if I m 100% innocent from my side.
Then every month I have paid which ever my utilisations and on behalf of me, bank had paid mostly all major or small amount I have paid 'EVEN YOUR BANK INSIST FOR ME TO PAY MINIMUM PAYMENT' , but I have paid which services- purchases actule bill amount paid by your bank regulerly and every month. Your bank day by day increased me the said amount inwhich I was not responcible, for these matter I have e-mailed four times, your Customer call Nos.[[protected]] "Never Connected" up to today. ( Please check last friday 08/01/09 how many time I have tried from [protected] & today from [protected]) Why your systems are not accepting calls from "BSNL" please don't insist me to try from Mobile you try. Because of your time consuming systems of phone calls for connecting, who will pay these bills amount ?????????? Please tell me atleast "One" no. of your bank to whom I can directly talk, I think I can't (Again One way lines so advance systems !!!! )
Even these are suffered from my side I have paid Rs. 1,500/- to your Bank on 11/January/2010, and your Credit Card Department again started to send me messages for minimum amout Rs. 500/- you pay.

I have made for my monthly bills of IDEA, every month, even if you instist minimum amount payment which are very normal. So against these my money paying systems what you understud/ how you calculated ? How many times I made the complaints regarding 'Deactivations of my Card' and your executive all the time said, contact "Customer Care" and customer Care's phons never connect, so is there any alternate of these, please specyfy in details, and how long and why I will have to make payments of your cheating systems ? So please "Deactivate" with the effect of SEP-08 month onward my card and tell me how much amount will I have to make, as Genuine & Honest Customer, if you want to keep or not it will in your hands !!!! I have your answer which may be aaja ..................... ! eg. pl. refer other customer's feedbacks you will get whole Idea !!!!

titanium credit card — unreasonable charge

Membership No.[protected]. Credit card No. [protected].
I was not inofmred about annual fees of Rs.500/ if I am unable to make use of card for less than Rs. 50,000/ during a year. Card is issued free for life and I would not have given consent for upgradation provided I should have been clearly informed of such payment condition. I am cheated on the issue and trapped under marketing propoganda for no fault of mine. This is unusual and cannot be expected from a renowned bank like ICICI which is otherwise famous for taking care of minor concerns of valued customers. I have already written on 9.3.11 but there is no reply. I did talk to the authoririties but there is no positive response. I am eagerly awaiting for the corrective action from your side.

      Ref: Life assured: Arbind Kumar; Policy no. 12111997, HDFC standard Life
      In 2008 I went to HDFC bank, Ranchi Lalpur branch for making fixed deposit of Rs. 140,000 but was misguided and assured about 12% annual return if it was invested in Sum assured Plan of HDFC standard Life. I was told that it was one time investment but later came to know that it was yearly premium and you could modify to Rs. 2500/ annum and your Rs. 140000 would still get 12% interest. From Sept. 2009 to July 2012, I was out of India but paid regularly 2500 premium.
      Now Today I inquired about value of the money and got shocked to know that first premium of Rs. 140,000 was lapsed.
      After searching the web I found similar kind of cheating to another person by same bank in which Bank realised the fault and returned the money with interest. Please help me in recovering in similar manner my amount also.

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        I had HDFC Credit Card which I was using past 4 years. I was using the credit card properly. Past one year, I could not pay the full amount within the credit period of 50 days. Hence, I was paying only the minimum due every month. So, my outstanding balance increased due to the interest which I could not afford and pay. Hence, we decided to close the credit card and we were planning to convert as EMI.

        We tried to contact the person regarding the issue. But, we could not find anyone to speak about settlement of credit card balance and we got frustrated. We don’t want to hold the credit card and wanted to close it. We were contacting customer service continuously. We advised us to come to Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai as the card hold an account with the Chennai branch. We stepped into HDFC Branch, E-City. The manager advised us to meet HDFC Bank – Credit Card Branch, Richmond Road Office at Bangalore. We went to the Richmond Road office and waited there more than 4 hours and could not find anyone to speak. We got irritated and step out from the office. We could not wait more than 4 hours as we came from very long distance.
        After 2 weeks, they called us and told us to pay the minimum due but we wanted to close the credit card. After 2 days, Customer service of HDFC Bank pressured me to pay only the minimum balance due. They didn’t advise the proper procedure to close the credit card. Again, they called and told me that they will pass the call to their manager. Then, I spoke with the employee (Emp. No. V1064 – Vijayalakshmi – [protected]) from HDFC Credit Card Branch, Richmond Road, Bangalore and then she advised me to settle the payment and asked me to continue the credit card.
        I wanted to close the credit card. But, they always insist me to keep the credit card (I don’t know the stupid reason for this). I was adamant that wanted to close the credit card. Finally, she suggested me to covert the outstanding balance Rs. 46482 as EIGHT EMIs. I agreed the same and paid the amount as follows.

        She also clearly mentioned, Once all the cheques have been cleared then my outstanding balance would be zero.
        Now, I have received the statement on 17th May 2013 which has the outstanding balance of Rs 22014. I have paid all the amount till date but these are sending wrong statements.
        So I have the below concerns,
        1. Why she is giving the fraud statement?
        2. What is the purpose of paying all the outstanding amount through EMI?
        3. Why should I pay new balance as I cleared the entire (outstanding) amount through 8 EMIs till May 2013 ?
        4. What kind of legal action can we taken for this?
        FYI, Credit Card expired on April 2013. I was not using this card for last 8 months .

        Credit Card-HDFC Bank — Settlement outstanding

        DEAR SIR,
        I WANT TO SETTLEMENT OF MY HDFC CREDIT CARD MY CARD NUMBER IS Gopal Kishan Sinha [protected].SO EVERY MONTH ADD TO LATE FEE ALSO. SO I REQUEST TO PLZ SEND ME THE SETTLEMENT OF MY CREDIT CARD. I AM HARRESMENT OF THIS BILL.

        I had taken a Credit Card from hdfc bank 1 years ago. when i get the credit card, i recieved call from hdfc bank for mediclaim. they told me you get the free madiclaim policy with this credit card. but when i get the statment for this credit card for that month, they withdraw Rs. Lumsum 3500/- from my credit card account. then i go to the bank and gave them a cansellation form for credit card & mediclaim policy. but they don't excepted this, & they told me you clear this amount of rs.Lumpsum 3500/- then they will close this things. but i had never paid this thats why my outstanding ammount was increased to 17422.49/-

        i purchase lumsum 3000 to 4000/-

        I am already deposited 4000/- + 1200/-.
        then i decided to settlement of this issue
        please help me i am in serios trouble

        HDFC CR CARD — Cr card final settlement

        Hi,

        I am holding HDFC cr and debit card both.

        Saving acc num- [protected]

        HDFC has put a hold on appx 8600 rs in my saving account without intimating me and also did not informed that the hold is active on my account. A/c hold on 26 may'11 appx.

        Earlier i was using Value Plus cr card which i converted into silver card bcos i was told by customer card that it has some special benfits like late fee exemption, 250 points on shopping etc. Infact it has 150 points.

        When I requested for late fee waiver , so customer care denied for the same.
        I was disappointed and stopped the payments.

        Then HDFC collection staff called me 3 or 4 times and i shared my problem with them but they did not helped me. And used very unprofessional language every time.

        Due to all these problems I was very disappointed and one day i called up cust care & asked for final settlement. They refused for late fee waiver and did not entertained settlement also. This happened in Jan2011.

        In the month of june'11 i again called up hdfc and they commited call back. i got call back but issue was not resolved. It was just for formality.


        I was final settlement, I want to know why financial transaction has been done without informing me.??

          Hi Sir,
          My A/C Number is :[protected], this is my salary account. In this account this month total Rs.698.56 was debited as “ASD D” Charge on 6/05/2013 = 50.56,23/05/2013 = 331.23, 24/05/2013 = 316.77 . I have complained for that, but not getting any response from bank for giving this money back but why the HDFC bank deducting my money.Please resolve this issue.

            i got call from [protected] .This person introduce himself from HDFC Life Insurance company.he told me about interest free loan against hdfc life Loan Policy plan.He is telling me he is senior manager of HDFC life Insurance/loan dept.He told me about and convinced me fully on it.

            By several follow up with these people They convinced me to get 10 times of loan of insurance value at 0% interest for ten years. IE-if i will paid 250000 Then HDFC will give Rs 2500000 for 10 years wiTh 0% interest and benefit of insurance policy will go to HDFC life .
            first it sounds good to ear and any one will attract to it. But be aware of such type of calls

              I had booked a property with Paras. By the property terms the first demand from Paras was for 5 Lac which i had paid. After the first demand from Paras the second demand was for 15 Lac which i was unable to manage. I had a word with HDFC bank and they took documents from me and my brother for the application. They assured me that there will be no problem in order to get the loan done. After 45 days they told me that the loan can not be processed. I asked them the reason for that and they denied to tell me the reason and said that we can not process the loan. HDFC bank took processing fees as well which was 10000 and they told me that this fees will be refundable when the application will be completed they will refund it.

              After that I have to switch my loan to Citi Bank and they approved it with in a week time and they took the same documents from me and my brother. Now as i will be getting possession for my property i came to know that the payment of 15 Lac which was delayed by 45 days i have to pay the interest on that as well which was approx 80000.

              As per the conversation which i had with HDFC bank they told me that loan will be approved and they assured me on that. Otherwise I might have contacted other bank for that. They set wrong expectation with me as a customer and I have to pay my builder some handsome amount for the mistake of HDFC bank. On top of that i was abused by HDFC bank and they didn't provide me my processing fees as well which i gave to process the loan.

                I was using debit card of HDFC bank , same lost at ATM card , on 9th may 2012. since passed year i have not received proper details as well as answers form both the banks . (HDFC & Canara ) . I have visited at branches of hdfc they have told to fallow up with canara bank i have visited 7-8 branches till not get any replay , escalated matter on mails to higher authorities they have told for FIR same have sent team, till the time i have not received any answer as well as no action was taken.
                also requested for the CCTV Photos still no body have replied .

                i have lost my 25,000/-
                cash withdraw from Canara bank ATM, & ATM ID :28297118 Location : new Sangvi pune

                Time of theft :- 10.45 to 11.15 am on 9th May.

                  I have a home loan from HDFC for the past one year. As per my account statement issued by HDFC or available on my online account with HDFC, my re-payment track record for the home loan has been perfect for the entire tenure till date. My payment is through ECS from my salary account and get debited every month on the due date, without any issues. Today, i got my CIBIL report, and i was shocked to see that despite an impeccable payment record, HDFC has shared info with CIBIL which says that twice (Mar'13 and June'12) i have gone 30 days past due date before making my my payments. My bank statements and HDFC account statements show a complete different picture, they clearly show that all payments have happened on the due date, without fail. Now, i dont think people at HDFC understand the impact of misreporting of such facts on CIBIL scores, or for that matter, the attitude of the customer call centre rep showed that they couldnt care less. I think HDFC trains its call centre personnel to be rude and indifferent to customers!! As per the extremely rude call centre person, HDFC doesnt report anything to CIBIL, and that i should talk to CIBIL to get this resolved. When i tried explaining to her about what CIBIL does and how banks share information with CIBIL, I was given the weirdest possible logic: I was told that since my payment date is 5th of every month, i am five days late every month (HDFC expects payment by 30th every month). It didnt occur to HDFC that they are the ones who give customers options to choose payment date from 3 options (5th, 15th or 25th of every month). And so, just randomly, for 2 months (June'12 and Mar'13) they reported me to be late by over 30 days!!! There was just too much more of such crappy logic for me to take from a rude, completely ignorant and uninformed HDFC call centre rep. While i have initiated my loan transfer process to another bank, HDFC needs to correct the CIBIL reporting on my account. I will take them to media and consumer court if they dont rectify. God help people who have to interact with their call centre. What a pain!!

                    I am the ex-employee of the bank. But I totally disappointed the HR practices followed by the HDFC Bank Ltd specially in Gujarat State. HR personnels are not neutral. What they thought during the induction programmme relationg to processes and procedures that every employee of bank should follow were not implemented in Branch of Navsari-0135.

                    There is no process adherence at Navsari-0135 branch whether it is in area of a/cing opening time period, locker operation, record maintance, customers did not receive the F/D and R/D receipt from directly.

                    Auditors were not submit the neutral report for bank audits to respective cluster and zonal heads.

                    Branch did not follow the 7:30 pm, bank closure time.

                    HR personnel did not send a mail or letter relating to employee profile change main within the branch.

                    There is communication gap between the Employee and HR personnel. some of the HR personnel think that senior officer are always are rights.

                    THEN MY QUESTION IS "WHY THEY SELECT FRESH EMPLOYEES TO THEIR ORGANISATION, WHEN SENIORS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT?

                    ITS MY REQUEST TO RBI, MR. ADITYA PURI AND MR. THOMSON SIR (ZONAL HEAD-GUJARAT) TO INTERVENE IN RECRITMENT, SELECTION, TRANSFER WITHIN THE BRANCH OR IN OTHER BRANCH OF EMPLOYEES, GAMES PLAYED BY SUPERVISORS, WORKING HOURS OF BANK. EMPLOYEE GROUPING WITHIN THE BRANCH.

                    When some of the employees want to follow the neutral procedures of bank, there is always a problem. I also passed through this stage.

                    Though i resigned from the bank. I dropped this complaint because more or less, few employees are face this problem. but they did not have any other earning means, they did not to raise their voice.

                    If this is going on, ethical employee will not survive in this type of working environment and it may possible that Bank will loose his-her valuable Human Asset.

                    HR policies of the HDFC bank Ltd specially at a Ahmedabad HR policies are not neutral.
                    HR personnel send the new joinees to any branch without informing the each and every staff of the branch where the training is going to be provided by the branch staff.
                    HR personnel did not issue the transfer letter to any employee within the or outside the branch transfer.
                    HR personnel listen the any query regarding any employee from only supervisors point of view. No two communication between junior level employee and HR personnel.

                    At Navsari-0135 branch, there is lots of politics. They did not follow the RBI guidelines in some areas which are very crucial from the banking regulation perspective,

                    its my request to RBI governor-Subbarao, Mr. Aditya Puri and Mr. Thomson Sir (Zonal Head-gujarat), please take the corrective actions.

                        i have an salary bank account with hdfc bank.i am from hcl technologies.
                        I tried to withdraw in a non hdfc bank ATM and the transaction was declined .as i remember it is becouse of that atm not having 100 rs note or something yaa this is the reason. Later I came to know that my account is charged by hdfc Bank for the ATM decline charges as Rs 28.1.RBI allows customers to do upto 5 transactions in other bank ATMs and mine is an salary account with no charges as told by there representative on the day they came and lied us no extra charges are there.
                        I am extremely unhappy with the ATM Decline charges that is levied by hdfc Bank on its customers as customers are charged when they are not aware of existence of such charges.
                        this is just eating and fooling customers .we are charges even for atm's having no money or sortage of some specific type of currency.

                        When I spoke to the customer care executive they refunded the amount once but now they refused to reverse the charges. I am just thinking of what to do by holding accounts with such bank.
                        but i advice people not to use this sort of bank's specially hdfc.

                        Is it within the IBA/RBI norms to deduct ATM decline charges during the period APR 1 2009 - OCT 15 2009. During this period other bank ATM transacations have been made free as per RBI gudelines. Could anyone please tell me?

                            Please note that I wanted to prematurely surrender my policy 13060983–Unit Linked Endowment Plus II; in 2012 after paying regular premiums for 3 yrs (2009,2010,2011) as I was not satisfied with the type of growth and returns, nor did I wish to pay an annual premium of Rs 55,000. The HDFC advisor-thru his smart salesmanship advised me to buy this new policy –HDFC Savings Assurance Policy, saying that this is one time investment saving plan and that the funds-3 premiums paid in the old policy will be diverted to fund the new policy thereafter.

                            The advisor suggested that the old policy 13060983 invests in Equity, while the Savings Assurance Policy invests in debts and is thus risk assured. Besides, Funds from old policy will cater to funds required for new policy. But that has not been the case. I am being asked to pay annual premiums for both policies. That was not my understanding. That was all smart salesmanship of the HDFC advisor, cheating me into buying a new policy to fulfill his targets.

                            Besides, he had promised a Gold Coin being given on purchase of new policy, which has not been delivered to me till date. I followed the advisor for the same for a long time, but to no avail. There was never a revert from his side.

                            I cannot continue with both these policies. And that is why, request for cancellation of the new policy and that funds of it can pay 4th premium of old policy[protected].

                            I hold a long standing healthy relationship with HDFC as all my current & savings a/c are with HDFC & am a preferred customer. I have also bought another Policy ‘Youngster Suvidha’, paying an annual premium of Rs 40,000 towards that.

                            I am pained by how these advisors cheat us

                                  My phone number is on the National Do Not Disturb Registry. On May 21st 2013 at 16:10 Hrs IST I received a solicitation call from HDFC loans about their loan offer.
                                  Reference number to an earlier complaint I had given Airtel regarding this was 50424556.
                                  For May 21st 2013 the new complaint reference number is 50632572
                                  HDFC has been repeatedly calling my Airtel number [protected]
                                  Despite Airtel having confirmed that a warning notice has been sent I continue to receive such phone calls.

                                  Please help to stop such calls from HDFC Loan Sales team.

                                    I have purchased a two wheeler through credit card by 72635 rupees. But 74450/- rupees was debited from my credit card account. I have already complained against this surcharge & submitted one dispute form 3months before.

                                    But, once again this surcharge is showing in credit card bill of Jan’13.

                                    As per you demand, I have already sent all documents as my proof. But unfortunately it was not reached to you. Once again I have submitted another dispute form with all purchased proof in January’13. But, still now I am not getting any response from HDFC bank credit card department.
                                    That’s why I have totally stopped using this credit card.

                                    Actually on 19th Aug’2012, I have purchased a two wheeler for my Brother Sk. Jiaul Hoque from Rajkumar Automobiles Sales (P) Ltd. in Midnapur by Rs.72635.18/-. But their Credit Card swiping machine was not working on that day. They told me to swipe my credit card at their friend’s Shop M/S Billimoria Brothers & they will collect the case from M/S Billimoria Brothers. Also they told me that no extra charge will be added on this transaction.
                                    Also in that time I have no idea about the surcharge.


                                    So that, please deduct the extra amount (Rs. 1815.88/-) & all fines from my account. Otherwise I will never pay any extra charges & fines.

                                    Two Wheeler purchases case memo is attached with the latter as a proof. Please check it.

                                    I can't attached others document as aproof due to low capasity of attachment.

                                    HDFC Credit Card — HDFC Credit: Invalid Surcharge

                                    I've fueled my bike and paid the payment by my HDFC C.C, as i've been told that no sur charge will be charged on any petrol payment, still I've been charged with Rs. 10 on it.
                                    No action has been taken from the bank, after several emails, as i can not afford to go at the branch just for Rs. 10/-.
                                    Just sheet service.
                                    As per my last statement, my bill was of 3126.25 but I need to pay only 2911.72/- as there was some opening balance of -214.53/-
                                    .
                                    Therefore, I would like inform you that in last month I made 2 transactions (petrol) one was of 1450/- and the another was of 1500/- & according to your company/bank rules you had put a surcharge of 87.50/- & 88.75/- respectively, than I made phone call at customer care & had a word with Mr. Ikshit on dated 26 July 2009 at 12:00 a.m., regarding the reversal of the Surcharge & he had committed that the bank will revert this amount in the next statement, at that moment he was not in position to revert this amount as well as to provide the request no.because of some techniqual problem in the system.

                                    Moreover, he had suggested me to make one more call in morning after 7:00 a.m. than you will get the reversal as well as the request number, so when I called up again on 28 July 2009 & had a word with Mr. Gitesh Nijara & with Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari they had refused to give that reversal.

                                    In addition, I would like to inform you that all the transaction made at B.P. Pumps & according to my information; there would be no surcharge on the Bharat Petroleum Pumps.

                                    Please note that my average petrol transaction is of around[protected]/- per month in case if I have to pay around 90/- on each transaction than it really doest not make any sense to use your card.

                                    So, It was really a great experience with your bank and also thankful for your services now, I am not at all interested to do any further dealing with your Bank.
