In december 2016, i received a call regarding one assist plan and thereafter the sum of rs 1799 was deducted from my icici bank account. Since i was not informed about the expenses and i didn't require the plan, i visited the bank branch to get it cancelled but was rather given customer care number.
In july 2017, after repeatedly making calls to the customer service and visits to the bank, i was promised that the amount would be refunded by 26 july 2017 but again, nothing was done.

On 21 august 2017, i was told that i would have to continue with the plan till december 2017 even if i didn't want it. This is completely uncalled for and unacceptable.
1) money was deducted from my account without my consent.
2) despite repeated requests the one assist plan was not cancelled.
3) i have not received the kit of this plan yet which implies that i have not used their service.
Though i have been making efforts to get the amount refunded to my account but now i am being forced to use the service (Without getting the kit).
Please deactivate my subscription of the one assist plan as soon as possible, now that it's been almost a year of making my request.
ICICI Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

This request is critical in nature and would require verification in person. Please visit the nearest ICICI Bank branch along with Certified true copy of the relevant pages of the Official Gazette publishing details of the change of name and/or surname along with Photocopy of ID proof in new or old name.
I did the same as suggested in the email but the bank is not sure about the process and not accepting the request.
