kent RO carbon filter is of poor quality. It is blasted two times since 21/03/2015. Hence u r requested to take this RO back and return my money. I will buy aquaguard, that is more reliable than this. UR technician say " with Kent RO this is known problem".

    Hi,

    I had purchased Sediment Filter for replacing my existing Filter in my Kent Super+ RO Filter.
    The Sediment Filter delivered was of 10" Length . Since I had concern if 10" will be compatible, I called up the below service personnel no of Kent:-
    [protected].
    I told my model no & concern if 10" will be ok, and got confirmed twice that it will fit; following which I asked him to send the service technician. The Service technician came & told that 10" sediment filter will not fit, and demanded Rs 300/- without even attempting to fit the same.
    I called up [protected] & asked him why he gave false information. He mentioned that if I replace 10" filter with 8", he will ask technician to replace for free, as it was his mistake. Now when I contact, he is telling its not possible.
    I am filing a compaint for being given false information by the Service center.

      Product registered mobile no.: [protected], Name: PS Kohli. I had raised a service request on 11 Oct for leakage in my RO system. Following the request a technician visited me and told me that the pump of RO was defective and needed to be replaced. The pump cost was 2400. In addition he changed two filters (cost 800) and one UV light bulb. Service charges were extra. After service he checked the PH value and told me that filter is now fully repaired and the water quality is good. I paid the service engineer 3, 970 as total amount after which he left. After 5 mins of the service engineer leaving when the filter was full, the RO started leaking again. I immediately called the service engineer who said he had left for his home and would come again tomorrow. I called up the customer service again who said they would send the engineer in 24 hours. I did not hear on this request for a week and then raised another request on 16 Oct following which an engineer visited me on 17 Oct who after inspection said that valve that stops the water is defective and also the membrane of the RO is no longer good for use and I am drinking unhealthy water. My compliant: 1)Your service engineer on first visit assured me that water quality is checked and is good and that he has replaced the filters that needed replacement. Tell me what is your credibility as a company when another engineer visits me in less than week and says now I need to replace the membrane also? I feel totally cheated. Seems you guys are just out to make money 2) I had called the service center for leakage which after spending 2400 on pump replacement is still unresolved? How do I know if the pump at all needed a replacement? He also took the old pump along with him Your customer care totally failed to address my concerns. For 2 weeks now my RO is nonfunctional and I am forced to buy water from the market. I need this resolved immediately with no additional payments in case you guys have any shame and morals as a company. Further strict action must be taken against the first service engineer.         I had purchased Kent pearl model water purifier and after the thord month it started giving problems. Technician came and adddressed the problem and since it was under warranty they did free of charge. Same proplem again cropped up on 13th month where warranty is not applicable. I paid again 850/- and got it repaired. Now again i see the same problem after 20 days. I am trying to contact a person who repaired last time and he is not responding and deliberately avoiding. Probably has has come and done the repair on his own without lodging the same with company. I get a doubt that these peole are using the repaired parts for replacement whenever they get compliants. I am fed up with servise and if this type of problems are not addressed immediately, many more people like me would face problems.

        Sombody called me yestarday i, e on 26th and informed me that they have assigned this responsibility to local office and i would get a call from local office. But till now no body has called me and the water purifier is still under rapair from last week.

        Not sure whom to approach for ?

          I have brought a Kent Pearl RO purifier on 15th November 2014 and its in warranties, it was working ok, 2 months back there it stoped, and after multiple calls and follows these service guys came and replaced the motor, the issue that time they came some 3 or 4 time and changed, this each time they will come change some thing and after some time the it will stop, then again come and change some thing. Luckly they changed the motor and now on 13th october it stoped, i raised complaint in there customer care no [protected]. they sent AQUA CARE service guys, these guys come and change some parts and they dont even wait for 10 mins and run away. the moment they go the motor will stop, The came for 4 days, changed the Choke for 3 times and the moment they go the machine will stop. Then they stopped taking my call and comming, i started following up with KENT service center from 16th of October and till 23 they said technician will come and come and no one turn up. and on 23th luckly the same guys came, and changed the CHOKE for the 4th time. I made sure my electrician is at my home while this guy came and we fit one stabilizer also,
          This guy he did not even wait for 10 min and ran again after 20 mins the machine stopped again.

          Horrible service center guys they have no knowledge of the system and just change some parts. And the worst part is the call center. These guys dont even know to talk english, each time i call they say in 12 hr some one will come and that went for 5 day with no one.

          I dont even know any bangalore area incharge to escalate the matter, can any one help me with a bangalore area incharge or some higher authority to get this fixed, my warantee will expire in some 3 weeks and the machine is not working. I want this is to be sorted out pls help me.

          After todays service the service center guys closed the ticket as issue fixed, the problem is not solved the machine is still not working and i am lying helpless, please suggest a way for this.

            KentR.O. NO.[protected] has been giving trouble for last 6 months. Complaints have been lodged on toll free number of Kent several times but service technician has not been attending on one pretext or the other. This has been causing severe trouble for all house owners as the quality of tap water is no where near to potability.               I bought a Kent Grand in October 2014 with one year onsite warranty. The machine functioned properly for first few months but later on it got some glitches. The machine used to stop functioning every few months. Since the machine was in warranty, the company mechanics visited my house and changed the defective parts. After some more months the machine started facing a very serious problem because there was some manufacturing defect in it. The machine automatically stops and starts many times during refilling of drawn water. I several times raised a service request and company's mechanic visited every time but could not rectify this defect. In September also, the machine stopped functioning completely. So, the company's mechanic visited, he changed some parts but could not remove that defect of frequent on-offs which was the main reason behind the stoppage of the machine frequently. Thereafter I raised complaints to the company several times, but gone unheard. Now, the official warranty of the machine has expired but since the defect was intimated to the company many times during warranty, it is the responsibility of the company to repair or replace the machine at its cost. However, the company is now neither attending my complaint nor replying my mails. The company is only concerned with its income. Its representatives frequently calls me and request for AMC fees. However, I refused to take AMC as the services of the company are very poor. I am going to file a suit in court of law. I advise all citizens not to buy a product from Kent. It charges a hefty amount of Rs.[protected] for the lowest versions of its product and supplies defective products to cheat its customers. I will somehow recover the cost of my machine by resorting to legal actions but no one should ever think of buying a Kent product.

                My water purifier was working perfectly.Recently I called Kent service person to replace my kent water purifier filter since the expiry of filter was almost nearing. As requested the service person came next day.He verified the system and even TDS before replacing filters and confirmed all perfect and no issues.He repalced filter and asked other filter also since the date of expiry was nearing for that also.Totally I spent Rs-4000/- for the same. Service Engineer (Radhehyam, mobile - [protected]). Just in 1 hr after service the system stopped working.I registered one more complaint. Another service person came next day and intimated the motor got damaged and to be replaced.Cost Rs2600/- again. I told all were fine and only after service it got damaged.He told he will send the same engineer who did the service before. After continuous request for 4-5 days he came and confirmed motor damaged.I requested him to repair it from their side since it was damaged immediately after the service. He checked with his manager (Mobile Numer :[protected]) and they told they cant do anything since it is not the filter, it is another part. after requesting many times they were not ready to support in any manner. Then I asked them to take the filters back and give my 4000rs back since i dont feel any trust in their service henceforth.They told they can't do anything on that also and will get back after discussion with higher management.But till now nothing done.                     As you see above, even in your pull down menu the name of the company comes as Kent RO. Their advertisements, call centre, website, even a splendid phone call- everywhere company affixes RO to its name. I truly believed that I am buying a RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter when I bought the Kent product from the local shop. He is an authorised deLer & the model that I purchased was the only model that he had. Later, he did tell me that this is the only model that he stocks. The model looks identical to one of the three pics of Kent Filters that they print in their ads that come regularly in TImes of India & a host of other media. Except that the filter is not RO but the kind that Aquaguard is known for. Company, when approached simply blamed me and were very condescending & arrogant. I feel totally cheated & put down by the company & want my money back. Kindly help.

                      In continuation to my previous plight, I am writing this mail.
                      As you can see it has been 1 month now and still the issue is unresolved.

                      After writing previous mail dated 22 Sep, Mr Ganesh finally came on 25th Sep.
                      Citing that there is some issue with sensor, he replaced the sensor costing me 450/-.

                      However, the issue came back again within 15 days.
                      So, I had to open a compalaint - [protected] on 7th September.
                      I waited for 5 days for any technician to visit, but keeping up with standards of poor service no one came.
                      I called customer care on 13th October, and to my surprise complaint had been closed without any comments.

                      Now, this was a new low for Kent RO.
                      Thus, with no choice I had to raise a new complaint - [protected].
                      This time, I received a call from one of the technicians (not Mr Ganesh) and he said, as this issue has cropped up because of Mr Ganesh, he will only solve it. Thus, Ill not come and will close the request.
                      This was a very rude thing and being a customer, I believe it's Kent RO duty to deal with this.
                      But, as expected Kent RO proved that they setting new standards in poor service, the complaint was closed.

                      Now, today on 17th October I called customer care AGAIN to lodge a complaint.
                      Out of curiosity, I asked the reason to close my previous complaint ([protected]), and as expected anothe reason is given to me - "AMC with other agency". The fact is, I don't have any AMC.
                      This is outrageous and quite low on part of Kent RO, that all such things are allowed to happen.

                      So, without choice, today I have raised another complaint - [protected].
                      Let's see if Mr. Ganesh visits or again I am givem some excuse.

                      By the way, this issue(leakage problem with Kent RO) has been opened since 15th September.
                      Kent RO, you really suck, and I am advising everyone NOT TO GET KENT RO.

                      I know this mail will fall on deaf ears, but still you guys deserve my frustration!

                          I am a customer of Kent pearl R.O. water Purifier. I have done the AMC of Rs.5200.00 0n 17.09.2015. But after that, there is a constant problem of getting water. Several times, I called to the service centre whose phone no is[protected]. Every time they assured me that the service man will go to solve the problem very shortly.                             Hello Everyone,

                            After complaining here I did receive the above message and mailed Kent my details and after many calls from lot of people all over India, one service engineer turned up and found out that the adapter had gone bad. He replaced us with a new adapter as our machine was only 3 months old.

                            I did ask him why the issue occurred, and replied saying I was using my machine for long time. So, I opened the manual to him and showed him that the machine is specified for 15 liters/hour and I am using as per the specification. His reply to that was the machine is designed to run only 20 liters/day and the more we use the more wear. He also mentioned that within few months all the motors the choke and all the wires will go bad and since its under warranty he ll replace it and after 1 year I ll have to pay heavily for all this.

                            So, I would ask consumers to rethink before buying such a product.

                            I am also suffering...KENT providing there worst service...
                            I bought one KENT RO+UV water purifier (KR[protected] and installed on 16th July 2015, so my warranty was till 15th July 2016. Initially I was very happy with the product and was satisfied with 1st and 2nd service as well. When I asked for last service before warranty expired one person did the servicing which was not satisfying as, he was only trying me convince to replace filter, his name is Tanmoy (Das) mobile number is [protected].

                            It was ok, I understand he was more interest in selling products but today I got to know, one of the FRT is missing while servicing done by him. I understand this is happens in last servicing because after last servicing in July I am facing this issue of filling container with slow water .

                            Today I pay rupees 6000 to Parimal Ghosh from SUN SERVICES, because he told this slow water filling only because of 3 filters, but after changing all three, issue remain same and then he catch the issue with FRT missing.It was not required to change the filer I believe as the TDS was around 60 .

                            I request you to do a investigation and find out either it was done intentionally or it was a mistake. Any way I suffer as a Kent customer and unnecessarily I paid 6000/- .

                              Dear Sir/Madam, I raised a request (No.[protected] on 03-Oct-2015 that my Kent RO is not working properly. I received a message that Mr. Hari (Contact No. [protected]) will contact me to resolve my request.He called me to check our availability and visit time was confirmed for 05-Oct-2015 between 11AM-5PM. I called Mr. Hari on 05-Oct-2015 to confirm by when he would come and he said that my request has been transferred to some other person So immediately I called up at customer care where I was asked to be contacted by someone within 12hrs. But today (07-Oct-2015) I received a message that my request has been resolved. On calling at customer we got to know my request has been resolved with resolution comment 'Service Charge of Rs. 300 paid by the customer. TDS has been checked.' Kent Engineer visited to my house on 9th October. Since It had been more than 5 days so I had to install my another machine to arrange drinking water. And your engineer asked for installation charges just for connecting the pipes again. So on that day I asked him to go. I will mount it by my own and raise the request. Today I raised the request (Rq No.[protected] and got to know that my RO is out of warranty. I am not expecting this kind of service from Kent. So please look into the matter. Regards, Ashwani

                                Ear Sir, With deep regrets I wish to inform you that I had purchased kent at Kolkata invoice no 5609 dt 21.02.15.The equipment is under warranty only one free service has been availed from m/s Unique service centre. On 21st night at 10.30 pm it started giving alarms.On 22nd morning at 8pm I gave message to service on [protected] and [protected] as no response when called .At 10 am the same day I lodged a complaint, where they said they had a busy schedule and would attend today.At 2.30 and 5.15 pm I reminded them again telephonically at[protected] telling them I would raise the issue with kent and at consumer forum. They came at 5.30pm and said filter is clogged and will be charged at Rs 500/. If this the fate at warranty then god knows what will happen after warranty.I wish to take up the issue at higher authority in case I am not satisfied at this level.I found eureka forbes a better service oriented company who give's satisfaction to the consumer.The service person availed my phone to call up his senior as he did not have phone balance.Is it a professional approach?.i have spent Rs 18, 500/ and feel real unhappy about the decision.                                   I had bought one Kent 20L Gravity based Water Purifier 1 yr ago from Homeshop18.Problem is that everytime it's upper payer becomes empty you have to give some water by syringe to the Uf membrane filter then only water will flow from upper layer to down layer after next pouring water to upper layer.It is a very hectic process where other company same type of filter in my relative home working very well.

                                    I have kent grand plus ro which is not working since 17 sep 2014 . The complain was set resolved without technician attending. Again lodged complain and now after calling many times the technician visits on 04 oct 2015 and tells me that power adapter is mallfunctioning and need to be replaced. Mr samay the service engineer to whom complint is assigned says that he will also change filters whoch will cost 4000 rs other wise he will not change adapter also. On contacting him he starts shouting and using improper language. The machine is still in warranty. This is simply extortion and violation of warranty agrrement. All the emails sent to kent have gone unanswered.

                                      Before 6 months we got a problem and your servicing boy came and replaced Kent RO filter and collected 3000 rupees with 3 months warranty.but it was failed within 5 days and we have given a complaint, they said they will send but no one came.now 6 months completed they are not even bothered.we have given the complaint in time and now they are saying we should pay the money again.For complaint we contacted Kumar:[protected].sevice boy Santosh:[protected]. what should we do.consider our complaint and take action immediately

                                        I have been facing kent water purifier service problem since 30thOct2015 and there is no drinking water and i need to purchase from market .I did complain in Bangalore customer care and the request number is[protected] . When i called today 03/Oct/2015 to Bangalore customer care ( [protected] ) then Mr Krishna has picked the phone and rather resolving my issue he said they are not responsible for following with issue . Their only work is to log complain and that's it ... Really ridiculous ...Is this your customer service .When I asked Mr Krishna to pass call to manager then he told Manager is busy and he will call me in 30 minutes ... still i am waiting for call it's already 2 Hours ... really cheating to customer by false statement ... I received SMS to whom my complain assigned then i called to Mr Arun - [protected] on 2nd oct 2015 and he told he will send someone on 03rd oct 2015 as 2nd oct is holiday . I again called Mr Arun on 3rd oct morning then he told he will send someone in evening 04:00 PM, Again i called Mr Arun at 04:00 PM then he told he will send someone between 5 to 6 PM but still no body turned up . After that when i called Mr Arun he didn't picked phone . Things are very clear you person are fooling customer with commitment which you cannot fulfill . I have Invoice of the AMC and that is enough for anyone to drag in consumer forum and which is my next step . I tried reaching Manikandan ( [protected] ) who is so called sales/Area Manager of Bangalore some way around 4 PM but his phone was switched off . I am trying to get contact info of Varun Gupta Director & Mahesh Gupta, MD Kent RO Systems and definitely i will get and will explain what is happening with customer between customer care and AMC franchiser .
