My name is vinay from delhi,. I am writing this letter on the behalf of my problem that’s i cheated by oneassist pvt. Ltd. Company. I bought an apple iphone 6s on 22.07.2016 from (Hotspot sales & solution, address-a 24 connaught place new delhi 110001, contact-[protected]) & there was a person namely moin [protected] from oneassist insurance company who insist me to buy insurance of this company. So i bought mobile insurance of my apple iphone 6s in 4599 rs. Actually, on 14.04.2017 my iphone 6s, laptop, cash from wallet were stolen by thief/thieves from our house (I am also enclosing brief description). At that day i immediately called police & registered fir also i called to oneassist company & registered complaint & claim they said ok & you should follow our steps etc. As whenever, whatever i received email from oneassist i followed, filled up forms & mailing them & also i sent all original documents to them as they said & through dtdc courier service (Tracking no. F[protected] at their address-

1. Duly signed form (S) that were downloaded from the link
(National insurance ltd.)
2. Original purchase invoice of my iphone 6s
3. Application for barring sim services
4. Declaration form
5. Fir or application for police complaint with stamp and signature
6. Cancelled cheque with my name printed on the cheque.
7. Self declaration form
8. My identity proofs


I also filled national company insurance ltd. Claim form, discharge voucher and sent it as i received information from oneassist step by step i followed. So many times i called this oneassist company on their toll free no. Every time their telecallers said that we are waiting from insurance company (Means national insurance company ltd.) for approval & you should wait for 2 days & i wait again & call again than listened always this & even they are not returning my original documents (Phone bills etc.) after approximate 45 they called me on your claim approval has been rejected by insurance company is as follows:
With reference to your service request number 1913093, basis the documents submitted by you, the insurance company has denied the claim.
The insurance company is constrained to deny the liability basis the following reason:
The subject claim is not admissible under exclusion 10 - loss or damage caused by wilful negligence (No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property)
We regret that we are unable to entertain this claim and therefore, we are closing the claim as repudiated on the grounds clearly mentioned above.

Now, also oneassist also saying that we can`t return your original documents (Phone bil etc.) after that when i called national insurance company ltd.in delhi, their staff said there is not any company namely oneassist that we have tie up with. They suggest me to write this letter & courier it to branch also. Sir i beg you that this oneassist company is looting persons, taking money, ignoring & they are running forged, fraud business also i request you to see how they are making fool peoples as sending national insurance ltd. Company forms, papers. Its my humble request to go deeply about this company & take hard action about this fake company & save other innocent peoples money also. Please help me, call me & mail me, i am available with each & every proofs & all call recordings of oneassist company.

    Oneassist rejected my claim after one months. I fell down in the bathroom that time my mobile was broken and its was not working and same day i took my mi protect card (Oneassist card). Then i went to mi office with my protect certificate. They told call to apply online. I did, after one month i got call from one person named yusuf they told my claim was rejected for service request number 1980395

        Hi sir,

        Despite requesting multiple times to cancel my one assist service, i'm still getting emails informing me that the service will be auto-renewed but i do not wish to renew it.

        I have given multiple calls to the customer care who told me that the cancellation service team will call me in 48 hours. It has been weeks now and i'm yet to receive the call.

        Back in january 2017, i did the same exercise and when i got the call, the executive said that they will cancel the service in june just before the subscription gets renewed.

        My subscription is due auto-renewal on june 2, 2017. I do not wish to continue the service.

        My account was debited Rs. 1799.00 on the 3rd of June 2017 with remarks WPP-SR[protected]Renewal.
        If the plan was cancelled, then how can you debit the amount??

          Oneassist was rejected my claim after one months. They told reason was late intimation, but they rejected my claim after 40 days.

          I fall down from bike on march 5th, that time my mobile was broken and its was not working also i infected small scratching on my hand, leg. After that i went to small clinic for first aid process. After one week, i went to my native and i took my mi protect card (Oneassist card). They i went to mi office with my protect certificate. They told call to apply online. I did, after one month i got call from one assist team, they told my claim was rejected due to late intimation and they required hospital record and discharge summary.

          Customer care guy told "we need submit the claim once you fall down or with in 24 hours.", see how they blaming. First we need see our health and body then only mobile. How do we apply claim with in 24 hours.

          I went small clinic, how can i submit discharge summary. One assist blaming customers. I strongly recommended don't buy one assist insurance for mobile.

              They automatically activated "power individual" plan and deducted rs.1299/- from my credit card "without my permission". I don't need anything related to oneassist. Please deactivate this plan and refund my money asap!

                I purchase the product Mi max from mi.com on 29 july 2016 with one assist insurance for some reason i cancel one assist insurance on 28 august 2016 and requested for my refund of 749rs as it was mention in their term and condition policy ic some one cancel their insaurance within one month they are eligible for full refund and after post 30day ony 50% amount will be refunded till from august 2016 to 30 may 2017 they are just making fool that we have take your complaint and our seniour will call back u regarding ur refund status but no one assist executive call back to ask my refund status so plss help m in getting my refund nd take strict action againts these fraud services they make people fool for money for services which they never provide after getting money.                       With due respect i (Saddique khan) want to inform you that an amount of rs. 1299 is been debited from my hdfc credit card by one assist which i am totally unaware of it. I didn't even get any call nor msgs regarding this. It's been deducted without my knowledge and i want to mention and clear it that i am not at all interested in such services. On calling customer care of one assist, they said it's been deducted as because the bank staff optioned for card security which again i want to clear that my card is been applied online through net-banking and no such option was selected.
                      I just want to conclude it by requesting to refund my amount as soon as possible through any mean.
                      Your kind co-operation in this regard will be highly solicited.

                        I received sms from hdfc bank today that rs-1299/- deducted from my credit card to one assist membership fee.

                        Your service request number for the email query is: 2004283

                        As per ur earlier mail dated on 22nd may, i have not received a valid call from ur side i request you to escalate mail to your higher officer.

                        According to me 48hrs is 2days but i have not received a call from your end. This is the way of service your providing to your customers??
                        I had never experienced such a disgusting service!

                            Recently i raised a request for claim for my damaged iphone 6s but one assist team is not accepting the claim and said that my imei number is not updated wiith them. But as i checked my emails and found that i have given the details with the screen shot with imei on jan 9 which they havent updated yet and now they are giving foolish reason that they dont believe in emails and update the details over calls only. I want to ask when you have asked for the details via email then why would i get them updated through call.
                            Also i want to ask when you have the imei screen shot in your mailbox which itself tells that you have the same in your records then why cant you verify that and proceed.

                            You have even mentioned in your terms and conditions that any notice made from the customer end should be in writing.
                            With this kind of service no corporates will enroll one assist for bulk insurances as being an hr personnel when i am facing this i will not want my fellows to face the same and have to figure out some other good and authentic options

                              I want to know the status of my refund. I called your customer care about refund they told me that our cancellation team will call you within 48 hours but it past around 5 days but no call is generated for me and no response is given me by your end about my refund. Whats the matter please clarify me. Refund my money as early as possible because bank charged me extra for this policy as dial an emi. Refund my amount ealry otherwose i have to take action against you in consumer forum. This is a very bad services from such a reputed company like you.

                                My display got broken and Iodged a claim. One of the executive called me and told that they will pick up the phone from my home. I asked them about the complete process and they told me that they will take the phone to one of its center. As it was not that much convincing, I asked them to deposit my phone myself to the respective service center. They completely denied. I asked them where they will take my phone, they denied to give any information. Also, I read the reviews where customers have not received the phone in the stipulated time. Now, I want my phone to be repaired from the service center where I will deposit the phone myself to service center.

                                  I purchased a mobile hand set of redmi-3s on dated 15th sept 2016 along with mi protect, the insurance cover provided by the one assist, on 17th of april my hand set got damaged and lodged a complaint on customer care of one assist with complaint reference no-1933572 on dated 23.04.2017 but its really pathetic experience dealing with such kind of insurance company, after doing all required formalities for taking insurance cover my phone has not been picked up for repair, i am in doubt if for picking the damaged phone after many followups taking more than a month time than what will be next for the delivery after repair. I am not sure about the authenticity about this company. Very very bad experience.

                                      Actually i was applied credit card recently and i got it after few days i got a courier or one assist membership.. Without any intimation i got this courier and 1300rs was cut through my credit card for this i was called to one assist customer care there is no service they are providing... I want my refund of 1300 rs as soon as possible otherwise cancel my credit card...

                                        I have requested one assist membership only for last year (2016). For this year i have not given any request for renewal though it was auto renewed and an amount of 1799 was debited from my HDFC credit card account without getting any verbal confirmation from me instead one assist team had simply renewed it by sending a mail. Now-a-days many o[censored]s are not checking personal e-mails often. Thus i didn’t check my mail so long. Hence I came to know about the renewal only after the credit card statement generated. Then i called HDFC customer care and complained that i don’t want to continue with one assist who has confirmed me to raise a complaint with you and get my money credited back to my account. After checking the next month's (May) statement i came to know that nothing paid back instead one assist team has given me some offer price worth Rs.500. Then i raised a call and had a word with one of your customer care executive who promised me raising a complaint for me and get the amount back then i received a call from one assist complaint team who refused to pay my money back. And the request reference number is 2023100 ( Bhavana - One assist team) there is no point taking my money without my permission. So I request you to please consider my complaint and cancel my membership and I also request you to pay my money back to my card xxx xxx xxxx 1770 kindly solve my problem as possible as early My registerd mobile number for one assist is [protected] alternate mobile number to contact [protected] and registered email id is ramya.[protected]@gmail.com.
                                        I would be grateful if get a solution on above mentioned complaint.

                                        Note: I have recently checked the mail from one assist in which they have not mention the procedure for how to cancel the one assist membership. Instead they have only mentioned within how many days the membership got renewed.

                                        Couple of days I'm receiving call from one assist who threatening that i will neither get any benefit of oneassist not get full amount 1799 back if i cancel its membership. Who gave you authority to take my money without my authentication. In welcome kit of oneassist auto renewal information nowhere mentioned and I have never choose mode of contact as e-mail or SMS for one assist then how could you auto renew by simply sending SMS or e-mail, If you did not repay my full amount Rs 1799 I will raise a legal complaint.
