Hello,
I booked oyo life residence for one month starting from 10th october, 2019 for three residents that include my two sick brothers. I paid the charges for three o[censored]s (As per their coupon discount policy) and one month’s rent without any discount as the security deposit for all the three occupants as per their rental policy. Again as per the terms and conditions of our contract, i emailed oyo life checkouts the notice for vacating on 10th november 2019 after completion of one month for all three o[censored]s. The notice was served 30 days in advance on 10th october 2019 as per their policy stating that all three o[censored]s will vacate the unit on 10th november 2019.
The rent for the october cycle is already paid for all three occupants. However, the rent for 10 days of november is due for all o[censored]s. Now, they are sending me the notice for payment for entire november 2019 and not only 10 days period starting from 1st november 2019. This is violation of the contract that we have executed with them. Their saying is since i did not serve the notice using their app (Oyo life app), they will not accept my notice. This ridicules me because my vivo y53 model phone is not able to download their app and i have sent them the screenshot of the same, where it says "this item is not available in your country". I have sent them all the information and several request through email and also made several phone calls for this, but in vain. They are highly uncooperative and making us suffer financially on account of their cheating and fraudulent instructions. I need help and support from your team on this account to avoid getting cheated by this company further and getting my equitable refunds back to us on time.

I am trying to get in touch with the sales manager local, but he declines the calls and does not reply at all even later. So, arrogant and ill-mannered bunch of people. How would they run this business-God knows.

This OYO Life has tarnished its image in the accomodation providing industry because of its poor management, incompetent customer service and biased charges with "cheating your pocket and baking own money" attitude. They keep calling me and asking only about my issues with them. I have sent some 20 emails and made 15 calls to their CUSTOMER CARE, but proved useless and futile so far. They just want to make money out of no proper service. Their saying is that you have to all bookings and checkout notice through their ### app only, lest you will loose your security deposit and in addition will incur penalty also. Notice given through emails in case your phone does not accept their app, will be liable to penalty and no refund. What is this policy? These guys are cheating customers big time. I have to face these problems with them and hence writing this message repeatedly. I have not received any email from OYO Life yet mentioning the amount to be refunded to me if they have accepted my checkout notice. I have shared the room with my two brothers, who are sick and unable to communicate. I am their legal guardian and hence communicating to OYO Life on their behalf. But these guys have sent eviction notice in the name of one of my sick brothers. Do I need to physically file a cade of fraud against them? I will have to take a recourse to that, if I don't get a proper email reply from OYO Life soon. No phone calls please, only reply through email.

    As i have booked an hotel name-spot on 49227 hotel siddarth from 27/09/19 to 29/09/19 and during check we have paid 1273 rupees to the hotel manager and my booking id-icua1209 we have went for work at 2 pm and come back to hotel at 4pm and we saw that the bathroom water is came from bathroom in our room and wet our bags so, we go to the hotel manager and said that change our room to the top floor and he angrily denies for changing our room and then we asked for refund he denies. And on that day 27/09/19 we checked out from that hotel and take a private hotel. Then we have discussed the issue to the oyo guest experience manager 100 times and they disconnects our call when we asked for refund
    So, kindly help me with this

      Hotel Golden Inn in MUMBAI (Jogeshwari) does NOT have any tie up with OYO hotels online application. OYO confirmed my booking on[protected] with me. Hotel does not allow me to check-in, I stayed outside hotel with my family and called 5 times OYO assistant but they did not even response positively. When all this happens with consumers where JAGO JHARAK JAGO takes stands ? What is punishment for such high mental harassment ? If it happened at night or misshaping happens with my family who will be held responsible ?

        I booked an Oyo room with booking ID VARU4578 after making the full payment but before checking when I called the hotel manager I was told that their relationship with OYO has been terminated and I have to pay again if I want to checkin. I had to call the OYO customer care at the middle of the night with my family( 1 kid and 1 infant) and pay for another hotel. I am yet to receive the refund of the booking amount and OYO doesn't bother to take care of customers

          I booked oyo for cabana hotel meerut from[protected] to[protected] when i checked in at 12:00 pm the hotelier denied checkin due to clashes with oyo we suffered a lot after waiting for 7 long hours we were made to shift to another hotel... It cost me more than 300 rs and lot of harassment to shift to a new unseen hotel...
          My itenary in first hotel included breakfast also but there in the other property i was denied breakfast tv was not working...
          Kindly refund my 2800 rs immediately

          Poor and un-hygienic rooms in the townhouse property. Pathetic response from the support and the hotel staff.Booking ID ZCAP0371.
          Consumer Grievance complaint number 1709222.
          Thank you very much for not sharing the resolution with the customer and showing the fake rating about the property on th website/application.

            This was the worst experience i have ever happed with me. First oyo spoiled my booking with yavehi hotel. Then they have shifted me in o-collection veronica hotel where only 2 staff member was there. Room was very unhygienic. They gave me a water bottle which was dirty and has no cap on it. There were only two staff member one on the reception and second in the housekeeping department in the entire hotel premises and this was pathetic. How can we trust you?
            At the time of booking, i choose complimentary breakfast for me and my family and when oyo transferred me they were very rude to me when i asked for it. Also, i have checked in at around 1;30 because of the oyo spoiled and i already confirmed with the person who transferred me to o-collection that please make sure my check-out time will be 1 as i am checking right now and also make sure about breakfast he said that okay we will do.
            But after checking no one was giving me proper answers everyone was just showing me the company policy. I agree if it happened because of me but the mistake was from your side then how can you give such answers.
            Main this i booked one room for 3 guests in the hotel room there was only one king-size bed and when i asked for the third bed they have given me a mattress to sleep. Seriously this is the way to treat your clients. It was a family trip and oyo spoiled my trip.

              I made a bookin under the name C H Anil Kumar in OYO 15965 Hotel Nandi Gateway with booking ID ERQT5906. The payment has been made via Amazon Pay. The hotel denied booking and the issue has been escalated to customer care. After few days, they checked with the hotel and they sent mail that refund has been initiated. But till now I haven't recieved the refund and after calling they are making me hold for 50 min, and not replying. Attaching the screenshot of waiting from Oyo customer service and also the mail sent from the escalation team.

              I think consumer complaint forum worked. Kudos for maintaining this type forum. They addressed the issue immediately, money got credited. But their oyo customer service is bad, they need to develop better alternative.

                I booked my room on 26/10/19 - 28/10/19 with booking id: xkbj 4591 property code: 1187 centerstage, room no: c-9-12 with online.

                I left my gadjet in the room when i checked out. I immediatelly called in the room captain in petaling jaya & inform that to get my gadjet. He said return call on afternoon. But failed to do it. I called back to the pj but no picked up the phone. (Worst services). The next day i called from morning until night also never pick up the phone.

                I fell angry & call back the customer care line. The cs said will called back to u to check my gadjet where it is plug in to tv hdmi point. The cs worst until now no reply at all.

                From 28/10/19 check out until now 4/11/19, the oyo malaysia worst never give customer to feedback.

                Trust n believe out in oyo malaysia.

                In my life totally black list in oyo booking when i travel around the world.

                If the cs still continous silent themselve i will post into social media n consumer affair department regarding this issue.

                  Booking id: baph5968. I booked a room through the oyo app on mobile for two days in mandarmoni and payed an advance for it.
                  Upon reaching the resort, they denied any accommodations to me and my family and as i reported to them over phone they could not find a solution. With several requests and appeals we have been accommodated with a much higher priced rooms at the resort. Upon completing my stay i called them again stating my bad experience. They first rudely talked to me and when i told sorry to disturb then and was going to cut the connection they asked me hold the call and they would solve the matter. The call went on for around 45 mins and still nobody said anything from the other side and the call got disconnected. Being a very old and loyal customer i felt so humiliated that it took me a while to digest the insult let alone paying back my money. Thank you oyo for your service for those 30 odd times i have booked in the past. I pray that this experience does not occur with other people especially any guest abroad which sends a wrong massage about our country. Jai hind. 🇮🇳

                  I have not received my refund of deposit amount from Oyo rooms in my bank account yet. The transaction has been initiated from them on 14th October 2019, and said that it will be completed in 5-7 working days. But it's over 10 days now, and I haven't received any amount. Pls look into the matter.

                    My booking was confirmed by oyo, however when i reached at the property, i was denied the room. I am extremely disappointed by the way my calls/complaint are treated till now. Since it was raining heavily, it was not possible for me to hunt for other property (Nearby vicinity) and hence, i was forced to book another hotel's room at higher tariff and that also 5-6 kms away.
                    I complained for the initiation of the refund that day only. At first, they incurred cancellation charges on me but after another call, they initiated the refund of rs 3000 and asked me to wait for 7-14 days. I waited and waited but nothing has been done from their side. Its been more than a month now. And, i have been informed that it got declined due to some technical issue and its been initiated again. Today is the third time it got declined and initiated. I am not letting this go. They're simply taking their customer service as a joke and their customers as fools.
                    I paid advance to oyo for booking, hence i demand refund of my money immediately and also would like to inform that the transaction was done through paytm. So there's no issue of giving bank details.

                    I have been calling oyo customer care since a month. Yesterday, I filed a complaint here and today I got my refund already. I'd like to appreciate the efforts by every customer care manager who worked on this since yesterday. You're saving this unit otherwise the rest of the lazy ones might lead oyo to its doomsday.

                      I booked a room at hotel sukun, verhaal, gujarat for 29 th oct 2019 oyo, booking id was a0sg1208.. With full online payment through oyo.. Booking was confirmed by ito before a day..
                      When i reached the hotel sukun, on 29th oct, i was shockingly denied by hotel give me to a room.. As per hotel, they are not allowed oyo bookings.. As per hotel management, oyo has not paid last three month hotel bills..
                      I was shocked, terribly harassed, i oyo was totally failed to give me alternate hotel stay.
                      I was forced to take hotel stay immediately 10 kms far from that hotel dukung, at triple cost..

                      Oyo has refunded my hotel booking amount but it is not enough,
                      I want compensation of rs 20000/- for my mental harrasement and finiasial damage to me! Immediately..

                        I stayed there and there was no wifi working, no set up box so tv isn't working as well... Dirty patches on the wall... Leave this... There was no electricity and water and when we decided to leave n called oyo customer care they kept in hold for long long time... N in the end when we said we want to leave hotel around 3am so after a long unhold of call from a female to male answered i asked suddenly who? Then said m outside ur hotel.. N started abusing so badly.. Kindly hear the call recording i was helpless.. Was harassed in call.. N now we got scared to leave the hotel as well.. We were in 5th floor n as no electricity we felt soo scared dat something bad may happen.. I suggest kindly refund me my money.. I got much better service in 500-700 too.. N hats off oyo service 😊

                          I booked resort from oyo at 7:45 pm, amount got deducted. I reached resort at 8:30 pm where i got to know resort was closed since last 1.5 months. There were no hotel/resort in 8 km from that resort. When called oyo, they started seeking information about bookings, resorts, mobile number... Instaed of helping with other hotel. I really doubt on their software since it does not reveal any information about customer to oyo and just deduct amount from bank account. Strange!! Mutiple times i called they disconnect the call saying connecting to sr. Manager. Though i called multiple times and repeated the same story to almost 6-7 employees. All employees were doing non-sense and illogical talks. Finally, i quit seeking help feom oyo and search resort by my own.

                          Oyo is fraud, employees are #, seems they are drunk while conversation. Such company should be sealed.

                          While rating it does allow to rate below 3. Forcefully, they want customer above 3. Great!!

                          I booked resort from OYO at 7:45 pm, amount got deducted. I reached resort at 8:30 pm where I got to know resort was closed since last 1.5 months. There were no hotel/resort in 8 km from that resort. When called OYO, they started seeking information about bookings, resorts, mobile number... instaed of helping with other hotel. I really doubt on their software since it does not reveal any information about customer to OYO and just deduct amount from bank account. Strange!! Mutiple times I called they disconnect the call saying connecting to Sr. Manager. Though I called multiple times and repeated the same story to almost 6-7 employees. All employees were doing non-sense and illogical talks. Finally, I quit seeking help feom OYO and search resort by my own.

                          OYO is fraud, employees are ###, seems they are drunk while conversation. Such company should be sealed.

                          While rating it does allow to rate below 3. Forcefully, they want customer above 3. Great!!

                            A week before hotel chain oyo listed our property hotel vista in goibibo, mmt and booking.com with the name of capital o vista. This is a very serious disaster which oyo has caused to our hotel. Our already existing listing with the name of hotel vista was automatically removed from these online travel agents (Otas) portals. Due to which we are suffering heavy losses this being the peak season due to diwali and two consecutive holidays.

                            We do not have any association with oyo.

                            We are missing out on major bookings and oyo is solely responsible for it. currently they have registered us on goibibo, mmt, oyoroom.com and booking.com. According to our estimates we have lost inr 1, 28, 000 in past two weeks of business because of this. All near by hotels are running at fully occupancy with mmt and goibibo being 60% shareholder in this booking. We are fully missing these earing.

                            We want oyo to pay all our losses.

                            They are not replying to any of our conversation through email or telephone.

                              I am one of the tenants in oyolife pg (Nod489 property) we are writing to you to seek an answer to all unfair means your company adopts in distorting money from their customers. Your company is running on very unethical grounds where you dont follow any clauses in your own agreement and all of your employees keep changing their statements as per their convenience.
                              I moved here in june on a fixed rent of 5800. When i came, as per our rent agreement this was the fixed amount we had to pay every month apart from electricity bill of our individual rooms. Just after 2 months you introduced "cam" charges overnight without any prior intimation or notice at all which would be added to our rent. I dont think it is valid in a pg set to pay for common area. Nowhere in pgs guests pay for common area electricity or facilities provided. The only reason pg is different from a flat is this very thing that it comes inclusive of all facilities. So saddening that i have to explain this minor difference to a ceo. Anyway, moving ahead when we inquired about this "cau/cam" we were informed verbally and in mail through all your executives, managers and bds that this charge would vary from 300-500 only every month. We have ample proof of this how many times it has been said that cam will max go upto 500.
                              Since a pg of (5800+500) was no more in my budget i paid for the rent+cam of october and same day i put a move out request serving 30 days notice. Now tomorrow is my check out date and today i see on oyolife app, i have to pay 1750 rs. For what? It says cam-1170 and bed charges - 580. Are you serious?? You really have the audacity to loot and over-bill your customers to this extent. I have left your pg and even now you are sending me an unreasonable bill. Is this how you run your business and this is how you value your customers. Every month i am tormented no end and i have to live with this fear that god know how much rent oyo will send this month. Stay in oyolife has been an absolute mental torture. Apart from our regular jobs we have to save time and energy to argue with your managers and bds who keep changing their terms and wordings. Need an answer why this hike in cam from 500 to 1170 when we were promised 500 would be max.
                              In addition to this, we informed now that there will be 300rs tax from next month.

                                I have bought oyo wizard gold membership. For payment i opted for gpay. My payment was successfull. But in oyo app its still showing pending. I don't know what's the issue. But money has been deducted from my account. I have payment receipt also of transaction done through gpay.

                                After completing the payment the app showed me 3000 oyo money has been credited to my account. I got confirmation pop up also.

                                  Hotel rajwada, gurugram

                                  Hotel owner denied my chekin because i had done online payment. He said that they are not accepting online payment due to some internal issue between oyo and hotel. Hotel owner not provide me room because i had done online payment.

                                  From last 2 months i am facing this refund issue. Oyo customer care giving 7-14 working days whenever i called to him. Still i dont know when i receive my payment.

                                    I booked a room at veraval, hotel dukung, gujarat for 29th oct before a werk with full online payment through iyo..
                                    When reached the hotel dukung xd on 29 th oct, i was clear denied by hotel to check in.. As per hotel recespetionist, iyo bookings are allowed hete, oyo has not paid our three month payments..
                                    At 5 o'clock early morning, i was helpless.. Oyo was failed to give me alternate stay on that time period..
                                    I was forced to another hotel 10 kms far from that hotel dukung.. I paid triple amount of rs 3000 for room..
                                    It is clear case of 420 and harassment.. You should give me rs 10000 for compensation immediately..

                                        I had made a booking at oyo against a booking id : iwlb2590 on 4th and 5th october 2019. My booking got cancelled as the hotel person did not allow me to checkin and i got a confirmation mail of refund of 1144 rs.

                                        I was said that i would get my refund within 7-14 working days. I still haven't received my booking after 20 days. I talked to oyo customer care. But they just say that's my request is in progress. I have contacted them 5-6 times. Everytime it's the same reply and they disconnect the call automatically.

                                        Please look into this issue.
