Redbus cancelled my bus ticket on their own and on calling them they told me that i was the one who cancelled it. After arguing for a while i was informed that there was system issue owing to which the ticket was automatically cancelled am i would have to book a fresh ticket from my end. Now the tickets for the same route is almost double owing to holi. Redbud is running a money making scheme where they cancel tickets and force customers to book the same ticket at higher price so that they get a higher cut and margin all at the customers expense financially and mentally.

Imagine people booking their tickets via redbus for ease of travel just to find out all their efforts are in gone in vain and they are being harassed by this company. Redbus in this case.

      Hi my name is akhil and i tried to book tickets from shiridi to hyderabad on 17th of march but the date changes automatically and tickets are booked for 16th itself and immediately i have reached the operator of bus and redbus but no one responded properly and they are saying cancellation time is over.

      How can they do like this due to some error in their site the tickets are booked for wrong date. That isn't my problem. So i want an immediate cancellation of tickets and refund.

        We booked a ticket from chennai to coimbatore on 14th march 2019. Through red bus app in swamy iyyappa travels. Time of departure was 10.30 pm. We were informed at the last moment that the bus is not operating today so you should travel in the bus starting at 9.45 pm. The seat number also changed at rear most of the bus instead of my middle seats. We asked them to change it at middle. Uprubtly they dropped us at the midway at 10.30 pm. Even they have not made refund of the fare. We both are ladies. What we can do.

          I tried to book tickets from redbus app and because of some ltechnical issue, it got cancelled. After that i got a mail that amount will be credited back in bank account within 5-7 days.

          But somehow that amount got credited in redbus wallet. I want you to transfer that amount into my bank account as i'm not a frequent traveler and hence won't be able to use the money.

          They mailed me that, refund is initiated on your account but till now I didn't got the money on my wallet.
          I used to tried contact the customer service that service was not working.
          Company don't have expert call service too.

            I booked one ticket from chennai to trichirapalli on 12.03.19 afterwards i changed my plan and i will try to cancel ticket on 11.03.19 9.05pm but i am not able to cancel. Normally all online ticket booking site having cancellation policy 50% of refund if cancel the ticket within 24 hours but in this case red bus is not followed also they allowed cancel the ticket withing 24 hours with 50% of refund but suddenly in this case they are telling different policy and they are not refund the amount. So now i am filing complaint against them for getting refund.

            We are sorry to hear this. The cancellation charges depend on the time of the journey. They do not depend on the time of booking. The cancellation policy for each bus is pre-determined by the bus operator depending on date and time of the journey. These policies are promptly displayed on our web/app, so that customers can make an informed decision.
            However, the cancellation policy of your ticket TN4A16550216 was expired at 8.45 PM on 11th March 2019. Hence you were not able to cancel the ticket.

            ok but you need to have standard policy for cancel the ticket for all buses. Currently your having cancellation policy for maximum of buses 50% refund if cancelled the ticket within 24 hours, so if one or two buses you are maintain the above policy means you are cheating the people only.
            I can't receive cancellation refund amount

            I have not informed that bus will be change.i was picked up by another bus and then it was changed.
            Also it's almost 2 hrs late to reach destinations if I asked to staff but Staff behaviour is rude.

              I have made a booking on 16th feb, 2019 from rajkot to surat, boarding at 1:00 a. M. From rajkot, but somehow bus operate told me that your booking is made on 16th feb, same day but at 10:00 p. M.

              I have received a ticket of timing which is actually 1:00. A. M., which i have selected.

              Then redbus customer support has told me that 50 % refund will be provided immediately after cancelation and remaining 50% after checking of technical error., but it is now almost 25 days after canceling tickets, but they haven't issued refund yet. Every time i called him they are saying that it will be resolved in next 48 hours, but this next 48 hours doesn't comes till now.
              Amount refunded is 1118
              Amount remaining is 1142

                Today i am travelling to vizag in svkdt travels, i have booked tickets trough red bus, actually my boarding point is hanuman peta and i was reached at right time but bus was left before boarding time without informing me, later i was received cal from travel agent and he said come to control room stop and i reached and asked superior mr. Bujji reason for this inconvenience, he responded very arrogantly and aggressive tried to attack me. Please take appropriate action on him to avoid these type of actions towards customer

                I have booked 5 tickets from vellore to bangalore on 3rd march 2019 boarding point is bypass road departure time is 6:45pm and bus came at 8:35 when I called the operator he was rude against us
                Ticket booked for 4 people from Chennai to Coimbatore for March 8th Travel for emergency. But ticket is not processed. but amount debited from my bank account.

                Request for immediate money, as i need this money to go to Coimbatore for emergency purpose.

                  I have attempted to book a ticket via redbus app which actually shown up as successful, but ticket not booked. After multiple follow-ups with all parties involved in the transaction, i understood that the money reached to redbus's (Ibibo account), a redbus support personnel confirmed the same, and told me to initiate the request for refund with redbus. I have provided all the details to redbus via email. But they never responded.

                  I request redbus via this forum to initiate my refund.

                  Important: please do let me know if i need to provide the transaction details.

                      I booked my bus ticket by redbus on 22 february 2019 (Ticket number (Tin): tn3r29878160 from kakinada to hyderabad for dated 22 march 2019 that tckt amount was 650/- rs. And cancelled it on 22 february

                      But my problem is that still i have not received that refund amount in my bank account and in received cancellation mail you mention that i will return that amount within 5 days

                      Why they are not refunding my cancellation amount and my request is to please refund my money. Please give me response as soon as possible.

                          I osim khan, purchased a online red bus ticket no. Tn[protected], pnr-449manou, seat no.24 of rs. 945/- through new banking for travelling on 07.03.2019 at 2010 hrs from durgapur (West bengal) to cuttack (Orddisa) by shyamoli paribahan pvt. Ltd. On 07.03.2019 i reached city centre bus stand at durgapur well in time. I had a hand bag and a kent ro newly purchased from the market. The bus conductor did not allow me to board the bus and demanded rs. 500/- extra as luggage for the kent ro which i was carrying with me. I told him that i can only give him rs. 100/- extra for carrying the kent ro with me in the bus, but he did not agree. Inspite of my repeated request and showing the online ticket he did not allow me to board the bus and left with the bus living me at the bus stand in a hopeless condition. As a result i could not travel from durgapur to cuttack on 07.03.19 night as sheduled. I tried to cancel my ticket at the bus stand as well as online but failed.
                          In this regard it is also intimated that i have been unnecessary harassed by the bus conductor and cleaner on 07.03.2019 night. As a result i am under tremendous physical and mental agony and as i failed to reach my destination in time.
                          I therefore request you to refund my ticket amount of rs. 945/- in my bank account as i have purchased the ticket through the net banking. If i failed to get a refund within 15 days i will have no other option but to take up the matter with the consumer court in this regard. My details are giving as under:-

                          I have received your reply in this regard in which following have been intimated:-
                          “ that as per bus operator's luggage policy, each passenger is allowed to carry one bag o[censored]pto 10 kgs and one personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase o[censored]pto 5 kgs only. Bus Operator reserves the right to deny boarding or charge additional amount in case passenger is traveling with extra luggage than what is mentioned above.
                          Though the Bus operator has the right to deny boarding due to extra luggage (Kent water purifier) but he has no right not to refund my ticket amount. My main complaint is that if Bus operator was unable to accommodate me on 07.03.2019 night at 2010 hrs at Durgapur (City Centre Bus Stand) due to extra luggage he should have refunded ticket amount of Rs 945/- paid by me for traveling by cancelling the ticket which the Bus operator is failed to do so.
                          Further, in your reply letter under reference you have mentioned about the luggage policy, however you have not mentioned that how much amount of per Kg is charged for additional extra luggage more than 10 Kg. Kindly enquire the matter with the Bus operator and intimate. Also further it is requested to refund my ticket amount of Rs.945/- in my account within one month failing which I have no other option but to take legal action in this regard.

                            Redbus online bus booking is very simple but most of time payment was done for the booking & ticket could not be booked its third class booking system.

                            Refund process is there but it was taking so much time nearby one week.

                            Some one go with less cash & booked like this bus then he have to be facing lots of inconvenience & monitory loss.

                            I suggest please go through local agents at least you will not facing any inconvenience and monitory loss.

                              Yesterday we booked ticket in canara travells from mangaluru to bangalore. While booking the time shows as 10.35 and even ticket also had same timeing but bus people shifted the bus and sent us bus timeing as 9.45 while we received msg its alredy 9.15 from our place to busstand its take 45mints journy while we recched bus stop they left without a concern. Its very difficult if they do like this for faraway place people to reach busstand. Later they make us to come their own other bus but seat is upper while we booked for lower seat the seat also not in a good condition. And also driver behavior is very roud. So herwith i am saying have to refund the difference amount of lower to upper seat. And have to take nessassary action against of this kind of problem

                                I am deeply disturbed by the service or response from redbus india. I had booked ticket on 22nd feb and i haven’t received my refund money yet. The bus got cancelled due to the natural calamities. I have been advised by different person 24 hours. Every time i call i get the false promise by the customer care. And the people are not scared if i say that i will lodge a complaint against redbus.

                                  I trusted redbus for booking a bus for my aunty and grandmother, two old ladies travelling alone. I booked two seats on 27th feb 2019. The bus arrived 1.5 hrs late atthe pick up point. No live location tracking was available which was mentioned while booking. Bus quality was pathetic, very unclean. After that bus driver stopped bus at latur without any prior intimation and asked to board on other bus which was seater. This alternative provided was also not upto the mark. I called customers care about this escalated this issue, i got a reply that operator is not ready to give a refund. How is that my problem? Redbus is supposed to take care of that. I booked ticket on redbus platform and they are not at all ready to take the responsibility. Redbus was not even aware of this incident untill i raised a complaint. Is that how redbus treats its customers. I need a full refund for this trip and also i need redbus to remove this operator from their platform or else redbus will loose a loyal customer.

                                    Booked 3 bus tickets from pune to latur for 3rd march 2019. And bus has to be arrive at 7: 30 am. But bus is not arrived till 9: 30 am. We want our money back that is 1830 rs... Very bad service.. I called each and every bus operator whose no. Is given by the redbus. But bus is not arrived... We want our money back otherwise we will file 3 cases against redbus... And will promote a very bad feedback on every social site... That is fb, insta, what's app, messenger, youtube, hike, google websites... We want solution today only... Otherwise we guys will file and promote bad feedback from tomorrow...!!!

                                      I am venkateshwaran from madurai. Yesterday i booked the bus ticket from chennai to madurai in srs travals. The bus time is showed 19.45 from koimbedu at the time of booking. After payment made the departure time is showed 18.25 from perungalathur. I was confused how the time is changed after the booking. When i was booked the ticket, the time is 6.08 pm. I called the respective person in perungalathur boarding station for srs travels. I explained everything, he simply told this happens oftenly. So you can contact customer care of srs, like that he told. I was tried to contact customer care. That is also not reachable. The time was 6.15pm when i was doing all these things. Then i try to cancel my ticket. But there is no option for that too. Then i was helpless and worried a lot about how the timing is changed from 19.45 from koimbedu to 18.25 from perungalathur. I was in hastinapuram and ordered dinner in hotel. Then i cancelled everything and hurriedly pack up the things and went to perungalathur by auto. I caught the bus at their mentioned time. I was asked the bus ticket checker about the issue. He ignored me and told me to take my seat. Then i went to my seat. My phone was going to switched off. So i was trying to put the charge. The charge point is also not worked. I enquired about that to the concerned person. He told me the inverter is sent for service. Once it is come all the charger point will work. Again i was getting tired and back to my seat. Morning i wake up when the bus was crossed trichi. After 2 hours i didn't see the matuthavani bus stand. I was asked him, he told that bus didn't enter in to madurai. Only we stopped at bypass road. We were crossed madurai and we were in thirumangalam right now, like that he told. I was asked him to enter into thirumangalam and dropped me there. He told me to get down from the bus and take some other busses here to reach madurai. I was dropped at the mid of the thirumangalam bypass road at 2.55 am. I was hurted a lot and walked 3-4 kms and waited for 1 hr to take a bus to madurai.

                                      I didn't have a this kind of bad experience from redbus service. I just need my ticket money 750rs back. Otherwise i will raise this issue to the next level.
                                      And i am kindly requesting redbus should avoid this type of cheating behaviour from the all bus services. This will spoil the reputation of redbus booking app.
                                      I have enclosed my ticket for your reference. Please take necessary action.

The person asked me rs. 300 extra chargr gir lugage and said u have booked online therefore this us not our responsibility.                                         I booked my bus ticket by redbus on 24 february 2019 (Ticket number (Tin): tn3s13515527 from namakkal to bangalore for dated 24 february 2019 that tckt amount was 1, 834/- rs. And cancelled it on 23 february.

                                        But my problem is that still i have not received that refund amount in my bank account and in received cancellation mail you mention that i will return that amount within 5 days (For your reference i am forwarding your mail with this mail).
