Recharged on 19/01/2019 for two [protected]@Rs.209 per month-Rs.418
invoice no.TN[protected]
I had Excess amount of Rs.413 in my account (Rs.418 for Suscription and Rs.413 in Main account as on 19.01.2019)
Validity period:19/01/2019 to 19/03/2019
Rs.209 per month for (i)Base pack(ii)Tamil regional pack(iii)Kids mini
But today(28.02.2019) the most of the viewed channels are blocked.
On login in my account details it is found the pack has been changed from Rs.209 to Rs.252 and also deducted the excess amount from my main account(Rs 413 reduced to Rs 133.57) and validity period reduced from 19/03/2019 to 15/03/2019.
My queries are
(1)Without subscribers willing changed the pack from Rs.209 to Rs.252 per month
(2)without the knowledge of subscriber mishandled the excess amount in the main account
(3)changed the validity period for the amount paid to lesser period and deducted excess from the subscribers account

    This is shyam sundar, my mobile number [protected], tatasky customer id [protected]. Four days back i changed my sd pack to hd pack. At the time of selection i thought that free channels will come automatically. But some free telugu news channels are not coming. I called tatasky customer service for change my pack somany times for 4 hours. They said you can change pack no problem. I tried a lot but it is not taking and giving error message that you can't change because your earlier pack is in process. Customer service person says you can change. I tried a lot by selecting channels one by one. No use. I left it as it is. I think i go for another subscriber after balance finish. I said these words to them but no response.

    This IS GP JANA, tatasky customer id [[protected]]. I am trying to modify the pack. I called tatasky customer service for change my pack somany times for 4 hours. They said you can change pack no problem. I tried a lot but it is not taking and giving error message that you can't change because your earlier pack is in process.         Dear sir,

        I would like to raise a complaint against tata sky for their misleading practices against the customers.

        I had placed a request for activation of star sports 1 hd, english commentary channel no 454 by making a missed call on[protected] and followed the procedure displayed on the television screen. But instead of the requested channel they activated two other channels and charged me for the same.

        I contacted the customer care and explained the matter but they denied any help and refused to register a complaint. Later, after repeated request the tata sky executive accepted that this is due to the changes in their procedure and the new number is not updated.

        They said to resolve the matter online without giving any details and disconnected the call. Multiple calls and even the online chat facility did not help to resolve this issue.

        I was harassed and such a response from tata sky and their executives was not expected. I had to spend more than an hour to call them and they just disconnected the call when unable to resolve.

        Kindly register a complaint against tata sky.

        Hi, NCF charges of Rs.153 pm (incl. of taxes) for the first 100 SD FTA channel capacity will be mandatory as per the new pricing regulation by TRAI.

          I get calls from tata sky call centre executives offering me some channels that i am not interested in.
          Most of the times they offer tatasky comedy or tatasky dance.
          Everytime they call i make it clear that i am not interested in these channels.in fact, i also tell that i do not want to receive any more calls from them offering any channel/pack.
          In the beginning, i used to be very polite and patient with them. But as it kept happening, my patience worn out and i even tried to be very strict and clear about my problem.in some cases i might even have been rude.
          But thus doesn't stop. Nowadays the calls got evermore frequent. Now i get a call everyday.
          This is turning out to be a very bad experience for me. On the internet, i found several other people who had the same problem with this dth provider.

          Hi, we were unable to fetch any account details with the given number. Please share your RMN/Sub ID along with the details of your concern for further assistance.
          Getting regular calls from TataSky, EVERY DAY, sometimes 2 times, and they keep forcing to talk about channels, WE ARE NOT interested in.
          We have already talked to them, nicely saying we can manage our own. But they keep calling everyday, on talking to TataSky office, they say No calls from them.

          HOW CAN THIS NOT BE A CUSTOMER PRIVACY ISSUE ??

            Hi sir,

            Currently i am planing to upgrade the channels which is modified by tata sky, regular basic i was spent 310 for month all over south india channels and sports channels. But after modified the tariff even if take less channels like regional like telugu channels it is crossed 500 rupees for month.

            If i select normal telugu region i have to pay more than regular payment. I have not seen any less price.

              I have register new connection request on 24th feb 2019. While the registration call tata sky customer care person promise us to we get call from service centre within 2 hrs. Now its been 3 days gone, neither installation happened nor got call from tata sky as concern.

              After that i called again on helpline twice. They are just giving fake promises. Nothing happened yet.

              This is very disappointing behaviour. This is the way you treat your customer?

                I am trying to log in to my tata sky account but i am unable to log in and also getting problem of billing and various plan change while recharge automatically getting plan amount ie. Recharge amount increament. I want to change my plan as per trai rules as i am getting lot of trouble while recharging in every 15 days. The mail exception is without any prior information the recharge amount is getting higher than the real price.

                  I went to tata sky website and spent some 15 minutes choosing the channels i wanted. After that, when i clicked on "confirm", it just took me to a page that said only "technical error". And there was no message about what went wrong and i should do about it.

                  And to addinsult to injury, i was automatically logged out!!!
                  I hope tata sky knows that not allowing customers choose their channels is not ethical. And may be illegal also.

                  Hope this is resolved soon, else i will be forced to escalate this.

                    Hi, Please turn off the set-top box. Remove the digicard and wipe it with a soft dry cloth and then insert the digicard into the slot. Turn it on and check if the problem persists.

                            We had requested for creation of separate ID of a Tatasky multitv connection on 19 Mar 2019. The same is not carried out till now. My ID No is [protected]. Customer care is procastinating the request and extending the date of execution time and again which creates complete dissatisfaction. Every time the executive Engineer of Tatasky giving false assurance to carryout the request but bears no fruitful result. This is a complete harshness of service.

                              I had recharged my tata sky account on 13 feb 2019, i contacted customer care on how much should i recharge for as i need to retain the old package, i was told to pay rs. 725 pm which i did, i checked with the manager regarding trai rules and he specifically said that it has been extended to 31 march 2019 and i can continue using the old package which amounted to rs 725. I was able to get all the channels which i required even though the cost was high but all of sudden the packages are changed today. No movie channels are available and they have changed the package to something which i dont even require. When i contacted chat support they were ignorant and i called to speak to customer care. Just as a spoiler for a beautiful day the chat support and customer care agent on call both were in competition to prove who is more ignorant and how can they trouble a customer. Finally i spoke to a manager who agreed that previous manager gave incorrect information which led to this problem and it as a fault from tata sky but she was not ready to rectify the error, the call was disconnected by the manager however there was no call back made by tata sky as promised that if the call gets disconnected during conversation tata sky will call back immediately. There is no call back from them and shows their clear intentions of robbing customers of their money in the name of trai. If the managers knew that service providers will migrate their customers to the best fit plan carrying their key current channels why was i given wrong information and asked to pay more. The channels which i had selected was lesser than the monthly charge which i am paying now. I was ask to continue with previous package by the manager from customer care of tata sky. Even after acknowledging the mistake nothing is done and they are still asking to choose to the package which a customer want and not owning the responsibility. Why did they not inform us prior that packages will be changed. Now they are charging me for a package which is not to my expectations. A package that costs less than rs. 150. Where there are no channels that is required by me. Also every third channel is tata sky promo nonsense which is being forced upon a customer. If a customer activates it then let them give the specific channel. I have seen advertisement between programs, now its been between channels. Also please have some people with little bit of common sense in customer care dept. No customer will be unprofessional or rude on call until and unless they are forced. This happens with tata sky service and customer care who are very good at it, i think its common for them to make customers unprofessional,

                              Hi! As per TRAI direction, following the new Tariff order, service providers will migrate their customers to the best fit plan carrying their key current channels. This process is being done in a phased manner every day to migrate the millions of customers by the 31st March. Each customer has the option of changing their channels and packs at any point in time, before or after the migration. For this, please download the Tata Sky App or visit www.mytatasky.com and go to Manage Pack, or visit your nearest dealer.

                              The comment is same ### but not addressing the managers cheating customers by giving wrong information. Where have you addressed this. In spite of the fact that this is a FORUM people review tata sky has the aducity to cheat customers after accepting their fault.
                              Why did your customer support manager provide wrong information regarding recharge. Was he not aware of the so called migration. From the channels which I had the so called nearest channels is nothing compared. Why are you robbing customers in the name of TRAI. I have paid money for channels which I want and not which tata sky wants. I am as per TRAI. How can you change it so that you can make money and blame your mistakes on TRAI. When your managers accepted that they have cheated me by giving wrong information how can you have the aducity to reply that you are correct.

                                We wanted to activate the star sports channel service and trying from 6pm i'm calling customer care but it never connects and it took almost 2hrs to connect, once it gets connect they ask me to login via website and activate the service and best part is website is down. At night 1.30am i get a call from customer care to ask what problem i'm facing seriously this is ridiculous 😠😠 they don't even check the time before calling and in the morning when i check my annual subscription has been changed to monthly subscription.

                                  I have tata sky sd box. From friday it is showing only red light on screen and nothing is showing on tv. So i called on the helpline no. And they told that technician will visit. Next day i got the called from the centre and said will visit i. E. On saturday but not visited due to some issue, it is ok. Next day i again called them the centre told me that any how ur problem will be resolved by today i. E. On sunday but they dont came. Then i again called the centre and the guy was telling me that sd box is not avaipable and you have to upgrade to hd but i told them that i am not interested even though the guy was just forcing me to get upgrade. Is it true that normal set up box not available because the helpline no. Told me that its available.

                                    I feel like tata sky is cheating on its curated packages in the name of hd. Please explain me if i am wrong, the big brains of tata sky whoever has prepared these packs. Example:

                                    Telugu regional hd pack (21 channels):

                                    I counted the pricing of all 21 individual channels (Hd including) and it came up rs.188. But you guys are charging rs.216 for the same. A layman thinks that he will get benefited by opting the curated packs. But, this is nothing other than cheating. I am ready to hear from you and understand if i am wrong.

                                    Competitor sun direct has come up with a very good transparency and regional dpo packs for the users which is very user friendly to change packs. I think you should definitely work on this to keep your customer base.

                                    Hi, please note that broadcasters are advertising their packs prices without including taxes. As per the regulation, 18% tax will be applicable on all pack and channels prices. Applicable taxes are mentioned in broadcasters ads' fine print also for you to see.

                                    Why don't tata sky has a regional dpo base pack to offer, similar to sun direct? May I know?

                                      Not all the broadcaster packs are available on tata sky website for selection. For example, etv is coming up with two boquets sd and hd. But tata sky is only showing sd pack. I have called customer care a week ago and no one addressed this issue. Same thing with zee cinemalu telugu hd channel, not available at all.

                                      If you cannot provide me all options for me to pay an use, why are you taking a network access fee from me? Worst case is, your customer care wont even understand the problem or act like they don't understand.

                                        As per trai orders we dont get any plans on tatasky like trai packs they provide us expencive rates not according trai packs it is inappropriate to continue these type of services.
                                        So it is my humble request to you please take some strict action against the tatasky service provider

                                        Hi, with the implementation of the new pricing regulations on all Cable, DTH and IPTV operators, broadcaster channels and packages will now cost the same for all operators in the market and Tata Sky will not be expensive as compared to anyone else. Also, in order to prevent the hassle o[censored]nderstanding and choosing from so many broadcaster packs, Tata Sky has curated recommended packs using the same the broadcaster packs and channels to best suit your viewing requirements.
