tatacombo plan has been installed at my flat no c3 2nd fl.huns society dawoodbaug lane andheriwest mum58 on dt.1-6-12 for one month it was free thafter i rechrged my combo plan at rs.200/-on dt.04-07-12 because recharge was not available at rs.75/-with dealer Arihant electronics prop.m.yogesh h.jain t shopno.5A,sagar shopping centre j.p.rd.andheri w.mum58.again ihad recharged for rs.200/-on dt.23-07-12 my queriy is that why rs.200/-recharege not valid for one month? and there was instruction on face of my t.v.mentioning continous reminder for payment and tghis reminder is exactlly on middlof screen of t.v.this is againstfundamentalhuman right of the customer reminder couldbe placedon any corner of t.v.further there is continious noises and disturbances in channelof life o.k.and on soni channelswhy it is so?i had phond severaltims on [protected] tomr.Dilip gupta but he nvr attens my callsalso i reqired my password so i couldrechare through my mobile how can i get my password?i have already paid Rs.1100 how i can get refund of this amt.since nomore i aminterested with tatasky services please advise meand find remediesformy complaints frommahesh waghela ID no.[protected] my mobileno.is [protected] and off.telno.[protected] my emailid is mswaghela.[protected]@gmail.com

    I have been a TATA SKY user for some time now, MY problem started when I shifted to there HD STB.
    TATA SKY HD STB is a not at all recommended.
    Recently I had a problem with the new STB, I requested are service Eng to see it, they changed the STB (9th Jul 2012) and charged me 225/- Now again the STB is not working. On complaining about that they changes the STB with another old one on 23 July 2012 and charged me agian amt Rs. 225/-
    Now there is no response even after my complain.

    You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They have a scheme of 90 days wherein if anything goes wrong within 90 days of the service visit, you will not be charged. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and get you a new HD STB.

      Two days back I got the subscription to TATA SKY DTH Services (subscription ID # [protected]) and since then I have been calling them and getting misleaded by all the wrong information from customer care representatives.

      Seems that all the liars are sitting in customer care department of TATA SKY

      1. Intially at the time of subcription , they told that first month subscription will be free and it will include all the channels . But now when I see what they activated ,there are lot of channels which are missing and when I enquired , they said "Sir its not part of your package, you will have to pay for them".

      2. I called customer care and asked one channel TEN CRICKET to add to my package, he replied "Sir it wil be activated with in 15 mins". After 7 hrs gets passed , when nothing got activated I called them up again , this time I got another reply " Sir , it was not activated , your account does not have enough balance"

      3. I paid for the HD Box and HD channels not activated so far. It has been more than 48 hours , I have been calling them at least 3-4 times a day, every time i get the Diffreent replies.

        I am Nirmalendu chatterjee buy TATASKY CONNECTION from my nearest shop on today(21/07/2012).The reatailer take 1890. He did not give me the offer of July 2012.Which is going now that is two months subscription free.
        Please solve the problem as early as possible. My E-mail id is - [protected]@yahoo.com, My reagistered Moblie No is [protected]. My reference number is 1-[protected].
        I did not get any bill or I.D. No money is due to reatailer.
        Please solve the problem with in two to three hours other wise necessary
        action will be taken. You can send SMS/ email for I.D.and bill in my E-mail.

          i sahir karol want to complaint about tatasky service, as i made complaint on 18/07/2012 at between 2 - 3 pm, but today 20/07/2012 my complaint is not resolved, tatasky person says that problem is solve in 2 hours but till now no person arrive. but one person arrive at 18/07/2012 at 3.15pm but he ask me for rs. 300 cash but i does not give him rs 300 as per policy of tatasky service charges & material charges will be deducted from recharge, so he want away without solving my problem & since no person is arrive from there side, i brought to the notice this issue to tatasky person but they do not taken any action regarding this as i think all person involve in such type of inefficient service like sub-ordinate,superior & team leader, when i make a call why person has not arrive , than they said in 2 hours my problem will be solved but nothing happen till now. as i m very frustrated i making such complaint, tatasky satellite service is registered in my brother id. sohail karol.

          my tata sky is not working for past 20 days.. i have given them plenty of complaints but to no avail..
          they send a engineer everyweek who fixes the tv temporarily for some time . It should be noted that they charge for their every visit still they are not repairing it permanently.

          You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. If you are in warranty you shouldn't be charged if not charges will be applied. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and send a technician to fix your issue.
          Undesired pack was subscribed inspite of specifying. Rupees 7600 was deposited including due amount for the subscription Grand sports pack yearly, but Mega pack was subscribed by incharge, instead. When aksed for correction respondant denied any change.

              Requested for a simple shifting of connection on July 14 (WO# 1-[protected]) was committed service on July 15. Followed with multiple calls to call centre, & even a complaint on the website (SR15071208​15891), they just keep committing but nothing happens, finally the installation did not happen on 15th. Again on 16th fixed time for post 6pm & on calling calling the call centre was told its been rescheduled to 17th!!!!

              Pathetic pathetic service, unethical unlike you would expect a Tata company to be. Never believe what they commit as they can never deliver on it

                TATASKY is a disgrace to the TATA Group as far as Malayalees are concerned. When all the other DTH service providers can provide all the Malayalam channels, why can't TATASKY ? The only plausible explanation is that the person who makes decisions about the channels to air is
                blatantly anti-Malayalee.

                I request all other Malayalees to strongly protest so that someone wakes up at TATASKY headquarters and takes positive action immediately.

                  Since the last 4 days, I'm waiting for a new digicard from tatasky but there is absolutely no professionalism from them. My repeated calls to the call centre have yielded nothing but assurance and extra days.

                    We have a Tata Sky connection. Last month we took a secondary connection. At the time of booking the connection through Tata Sky helpline, I was told not to recharge for the first month as the service charge included in installation, also includes first month's subscription. However, at the time of recharge, I found that the same was not valid for one month and I only could enjoy that option for around 15 days.

                    At the time of this month's recharge, before doing so, I again called up Tata Sky Customer Care Helpline to know what will be my recharge amount. I also inquired if I recharge today for more that 601/-, shall I get the bonus of 45/-? The Executive said yes I can go ahead with a recharge for more that 601/-and I will get the bonus of 45/-.I even asked her confirm once again as there is some funda of 30 days for Tata sky for giving bonus. She confirmed me, yes I can go ahead with the recharge and I will get bonus of 45/-.

                    But after the recharge was done, we received the confirmation sms stating recharge done for 610/- but no bonus. On calling the helpline number, they said they are arranging for a call back but the same did not take place. I again called up today and another executive was giving me advice regarding frequency of recharge to get bonus. When I asked him that I am remember that for my future recharge but what will heppen to my current bonus entitlement, he agin promised me a call back.

                    I am still waiting to receive a call from them and hopefully with a solution. My point is not mere 45/- but the false commitment they are making to the customers. Isn't it cheating to do so?

Hwnce you are requested to credit the amout Rs 310/- to my account at the earliest.                       i have placed a complaint on 05/072012 to get my Signal checked ... since then 3 times people have made visits to my place to tell me that there needs to be a relocation of my dish .... on the 4th attempt , the replacement has taken place and the person now says "there is no issue with the relocation as that has been done already , but your LNB is not working which needs to be replaced .... and now has a cost of rs.800+....... i do not see a reason why i should have to pay for all the inconvenience that i have had to go through and have had to deal with ... the service men who have come to my house , have been so lethargic and disrespectful that i am speechless to express this bad experience ... this complaint has been given to the TATA SKY customer service for the behavioral issues of the service men and also that the issue had been delayed by all the servicemen till date ... i am writing this complaint so that i get some justice from here at least ... i am a premium customer of tata sky since 3 yrs , i have been loyal to them , but now i feel its totally in vain .. i have paid yearly in September last year for my subscription. Now i feel ripped off for no reason .... as a customer all these people are here to just rip off customers for no fault of theirs. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

                        I am Pramod Kumar dash, My TATA SKY SUBSCRIBER ID IS: [protected]. Registered Mobile no is: [protected]. I took this connection in June 4th. When the Engineer came for the installation ,he said I have to go for the Grands sports package Rs 385/month where as I had opted for Family pack Rs 180/month . when I objected they said there is no other option ,then I thought lets see for a month.
                        Question is why should they will impose a package on to the customer?

                        Secondly after a couple a days I found the connection is in some others name as Addesh Yadav,the mobile no & the address is also different. Immediately I checked from their website and found the same information. I called up their customer care and informed about this and requested to change it to my name . they say its not possible. So far I have given them 10 calls and the reply is same. They say its not possible to chage the name & address.

                        I surprise how can they do this unethical business. I am going to suit a case on their name
                        ATTENTION ALL PROSPECTIVE TATASKY BUYERS: PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS

                          i Rajendra G Valmiki i am using tata sky from last 3 years my id no is [protected] on 5 may 2012 my setup box not working i was call at call center a lady pick up the phone she said within 2 day your setup box will be replace and for new setup box our charges is 350 rupees i said ok i ready to pay 350 rupees after 2 days i was call so many time in call center every time they promise me today our engineer 100% come to visit at your home between 11am to 6 pm but after end of the day nobody come to my house for replace tatasky setup box and i am daily calling on call center and they put me hold 1 hour but i am not get any resolve my problem after 10 day in evening 6 pm on 16 may i called again in call center i spoke with this time with team leader he arrange 1 engineer he came to my house with old setup box i ask him i dont want to old setup box he said we dont have setup box in our stock office i just set this set up box for 2 day but on this setup box not cath remote signal you touch your finger for change the channel and before that you not pay any amount to us after that i replace your setup box you will be pay 350 i said ok after 2 day he not come to my house for replace my setup box and tatasky chared me 350 rupees in my account after that on till date 5july 2012 iam calling in tatasky customer service center every time they promised me today 100% we replace your setup box and this setup box is fully current if you touch this box for change the channel you face electrical shock if any accident happen in my family for reason this setup box who wil responsible. tatasky so i am requesting to Mr Harit Nagpal, MD & CEO, Tata-sky please solve the my problem as soon possible

                              It is indeed very annoying. Even during a light rain, the signal goes off and it takes quite some time to come back. Most of the time signals will not automatically you needs to re start your digicom every time. Biggest pain is that Tata Sky reports maximum loss of signal, even with light showers, while the others DTH tend to perform in the heaviest of showers (as compared with the Airtel DTH connection with my neighbour). This shows the inferior technology used by Tata Sky in this competiative world.

                              We are on the mercy of rain during the 4 month monsoon season. Infact there is no refund of monthly subscription for not providing the proper signals and its poor customer service adds to the pain.

                              Tata Sky — Loss of Signal

                              Chennai has just begun its monsoon. The rains are but scanty. However, the smallest shower causes loss in signal. After subscribing to the Jumbo South Pack, the Sports Platinum and now to the Ten Sports /Neo Sports and paying a hefty 395+, we have interruptions in signal MOST of the time. The Call centre attitude is totally unprofessional and there is no help
                              i complain for bad signal to tata sky but response is neutral everytime i call them they only said that our engg. will contact you as soon as possible but nothing will done with my complaint.

                                My tata sky ID is[protected].

                                We have taken the tata sky connection from past two years, but to our disguise this is the 4th set up box we have changed.

                                They are providing the used setup box without sealed packet which was used before and repaired. To our surprised they are aslo chargind us for the replacement of set upbos along with the service tax.

                                When called the customer care there is nobody to answer our query and the call is kept for hold for more than half an hour.

                                They are also using the wrong benefits of the recharge amount. They deduct the amount from our balance without information or prior intimation but when we call the customer care for the information about the deduction they give variable answers.

                                So friends beware of this cheating done by the TATA SKY. Please check before going for this services as I have the experince of this torture. Only Amir Khan is the celebrity and the name TATA but not the srvices.

                                  I am using tata sky since last 6 months. And I have been facing continuous problem of poor signal.
                                  I was foxed by the foolish commercials and purchased tata sky and now perishing.
                                  Tata sky may be good provided 1) clear sky, 2) no rain, 3) dish located at higher place 4) no moving object close to the dish. I feel cheated by using tata sky. HD channels are out of question many a times i am not able to watch regular channels. Now at this point of time if i stop using tata sky, i will straightaway lose the amount which i have paid for the digicomp and for installation.
                                  I know in our country a common man can't take on a corporate giant but i have suffered and i want my money refunded.
                                  If the service providers of tata sky have skin of human being please respond to my appeal and provide me with solution.

                                  You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check if there is signal issue due to the setup of Dish and make necessary changes. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and send a technician asap.

                                    My tata sky subscription no. is [protected]
                                    I have taken tata sky connection from last 2 months, from this Monday i.e 25th June'12 my connection is not working and called them the same day to complaint.
                                    Call center agent promise me that they will send their technician next day morning. nobody turned up. When i called them during evening hour complaining that problem is still unresolved, other call centre agent told me that request for the technician was not taken by the earlier agent, pathetic.
                                    Ok further he took the service and another promise to send someone to resolve the issue was done on 27th i.e today at 3pm, i called them again at 3-30pm to inform them that nobody has turned up till that moment..after long argument and speaking to supervisor manager they promise me that technician will come to my place by 7pm and imagine NO ONE TURNED UP, that is the heights of service deficiency....I want my installation cost to be reimbursed back to me and don’t wish to continue with such service provide who doesn’t value the customer.....

                                    I didnt expected this kind of disappointing, pathetic and horrible service from a TATA company...

                                      Hi My name is Ravinder Singh My number is [protected].
                                      I applied for Tata sky connection on feb 2012 i had been enjoying tata sky channels. but on 14th June i didn't know what happend TV screen was blank and giving set top box not recieving signal.

                                      I called tata sky customer care it charge me STD calling rate. everytime customer care executive takes 20-25 minutes to understand the problems. they send their technicians then technician comes to my home and check the connection & tell me that kindly call customer care and tell them that tata sky dish need to be relocate.

                                      Then i call again customer care then they send again technician then technician check the connection says same, call customer care and tell them that tata sky dish need to be relocate if i say to technician that i raised the complaint for relocate the dish then technician told me that he intimated for Field request/complaint request not for relocate.

                                      Again & again same thing going on. kindly help me out. it's irritating me now i am totally fed-up. you are my last hope. please help me. please contact me on my number [protected].

                                      Tata Sky — Set Top Box not received

                                      I have booked on line a Tata Sky Set top box with one year subscription SD No. is [protected] & ID No. I-[protected] on 04.11.2010.
                                      but I have not any call about delievery or instalation from Tata sky. Tata sky executive has comited to me at time of booking' you will receive your set top box within five days. but still not received any responce from Tata Sky.

                                      So Pls. help me in this case......

They will find out the reason why your set top box has stopped working/ unable to receive signal. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated.                                         I have tata sky set top box. I have already made my payment. Still there is an urgent payment reminder flashing on my tv. I have called up tata sky four times in 4 consecutive days with them promising me that they will fix the problem and they are at it.
                                        1)Problem not fixed.
                                        2)Customer Service - Highly inefficient. one person told me to keep my tv and set top box on for 3 hours and the problem will be fixed. I told him what if not, i expect a call from your end in 2-3 hrs telling me if its fixed or not. he said dont worry it will be fixed. I even explained to him ive been calling since 2 days , but to no avail, so i would like it if i get a confirmation call because im tired of calling up agn and agn and facing new customer executives and reexplaining my problem. i dont have all the time in the world to chat up with tata sky ppl!!
                                        3) Also the people dont speak c;ear;y, I spoke in english and hindi and still i had to ask him thrice before i understood what he was trying to say!!
                                        4) Next i think since I cant convey my message through the phone, I should login a complaint on their website, but guess what tata sky does not move ahead from the page where you put in your subscriber id. It just stops loading the page.

                                        Where does a customer go to after all this ??? - if you are expecting me to SMS my problem, im not going to type such a HUGEEEEE text on my phone.

                                        customer care service of tata sky is not bad but it is very very very bad...
                                        i have been using tata sky since long now...almost a year...i ahvent found the service that bad the way you are describing...its kind of much much better than what i have experienced previously while using a cable TV..
                                        I had bought the Tata Sky from Greenways Marketing. They doing their service well,
                                        If i want recharge my account just i want to go and tell For atleast 25times. Then only he will reharge. If I complain anything about tata sky they are not responsing. Please do the service well.

                                        TataSky — Service Complaint

                                        I have given a complaint last month regarding few channels missing like Zee Telugu, TV5, SET MAX and few other channels. Seema is representative who arranged a technician and told me that I will be charged if there is physical damage as my unit is out of warranty. Technician came to my home and replaced the part on dish. Later I was charged 350/- for which the problem is not fixed. I had this Tatasky from last 4 years, they just looted my money from last 4 years with damn signals and no clarity.
                                        Someone please advise.
                                        The service provided by Tata Sky is pathetic , whether its installation or recharge . They come with a new excuse , always for the delay ..

                                        Hello, I am user of Tata Sky DTH from last many years, I have recharged semi annually or annually regularly. Now I am facing very big problem from last 1 month due to digicom. i have complaint many time in customer care but they not resolve my problem till date. when i talk to customer care they always give me next day to resolve the problem but the problem is same still pending and i facing mentally harassment due to daily talk to customer care.i want to disconnect the service but due to advance payment i cannot do this.I want to share all o[censored] that do not pay advance to tata sky because the service of tata sky is very poor....
                                        i AM NOT GETTING TATASKY SERVICES , I COMPLAINTS AGAISNT THAT , I GOT A REPLY WITH IN 24 HOURS U GET SERVICE. PERSON TURN OUT AFTER 2 DAYS , HE CHANGE MY SET UP BOX , NEXT DAY AGAINST ITS STOP WORKING. YESTER DAY I.E. 23.05.12 MONING 7.30 I REGISTER MY COMPLAINT NO. [protected] . PERSON TOLD ME AS THIS IS UR REPEAT COMPLAINT ITS WILL BE REPLY WITH IN 2 HOURS. I TOOK LEAVE & SAT AT HOME , I WAITED TILL 6.30 NO CALL , NO TECHNICIAN. NIGHT 8.52 I RECEIVED ONE CALL FROM SERVICE CENTRE & HE INFORM ME THAT HE WILL ATTEND THE COMPLAINTS BY 11.30 TOMORROW. AGAIN I TOOK A LEAVE AND SAT AT HOME , 2 P.M. I CALLED UR COMPLAINTS NO.                                         We have taken the tata sky connection from past two years, but to our disguise this is the 4th set up box we have changed.

                                        They are providing the used setup box without sealed packet which was used before and repaired. To our surprised they are aslo chargind us for the replacement of set upbos along with the service tax.

                                        When called the customer care there is nobody to answer our query and the call is kept for hold for more than half an hour.

                                        They are also using the wrong benefits of the recharge amount. They deduct the amount from our balance without information or prior intimation but when we call the customer care for the information about the deduction they give variable answers.

                                        So friends beware of this cheating done by the TATA SKY. Please check before going for this services as I have the experince of this torture. Only Amir Khan is the celebrity and the name TATA but not the srvices.

                                        Complaint: Cust ID [protected]: Worst Service Experience‏

                                        This is to bring to your attention that Tatasky has provided me with the worst customer service I have received anywhere.

                                        On the 25.7.12, I called up Customer Care to inform them that I am relocating my residence & I need my connection moved. They informed me that they would put in a de-installation request, I then discussed & confirmed that I also wanted a HD Normal upgrade. They took down the details of the new address & told me that the jobs would be completed on the 26.7.12 at a time convenient to me. Within 2 minutes I received a call from the Goa Tatasky representative who called me from a private mobile number informing me that they were coming right away to disconnect the connection. I then told them that I required them to come the next day to do the job.

                                        The next morning I got another call from another private mobile number stating that they were coming to de install the connection but I have to put in another request to re-install. When I informed that that the call center informed me that the upgrade request was put on the new address the technician actually shouted at me in anger on the top of his voice stating that we have no idea of what we want, we have not communicated the process accurately, the customer care does not know what they are doing & so on & then disconnected the call whilst in mid conversation. When I called back the numbers, they told me that I must call on the official phone & not on their personal numbers without seeing to reason that I acquired their personal numbers only after they called me. I called back to customer care & spoke to a representative who told me that they would revert to me immediately & that they acknowledged tat the mistake was from their end. Nobody called back, again.

                                        The call finally came only on the morning of 27.7.12. The customer care representative told me that they have scheduled the visit for 1330 hrs & I informed her that I am scheduled to leave my residence at 12 for an appointment. She promised to call back to confirm the appointment but never did.

                                        I cancelled my appointment & waited for the technician who came at 1405 to my residence. When I questioned him as to why he is late he simply said that if I want to install it then allow them to do it or else he doesn't care & it doesn't make a difference to him & he turned & left. 1330 is his lunch time & the customer & customer care dont care when they fix the schedule.

                                        At the end of this whole scenario I am paying for a service that I am not even enjoying. The whole TV campaign of having your Tatasky relocation requests is a sham & totally misleading to the customer.
