I switched to Vodafone few days back from Airtel. It was working fine until one day I received below message.

Details of bill dated 03-MAY-2018 for Airtel : Total Due: Rs 220.40, Due Date: 21-MAY-2018, Bill Delivery Date: 08-May-2018. 15% service tax has been replaced by 18% GST. To view bill/pay online, click http://www.airtel.in/ccm

I called airtel and even they did not have any updates on this bill. Still to avoid problem, I went and did the payment in airtel store.I sent the reciept to Vodafone to the mentioned email Id.Still they sopped my outgoing service. Reciept has been sent thrice, still customer care is saying that they have not received any email from my ID. So basically no one from Vodafone is taking up the responsibility to resolve thi s issue and I as a customer is suffering even after paying all the dues.

    From last one month there has been series of activation o[censored]nwanted services & balance has been deducted daily for such services.. I had not requested nor searched for that services yet my balance is being deducted..

    I want to stop this... Requesting Vodafone to stop this kind of balance deduction..

      With due respect I do lodge my complaint to your kind perusal for early solution.
      Sir I had recharged my mobile with Rs 199.00 & Rs 201 (Rs199.00+Rs 2.00 service charge) but neither my number was credited with recharge amount nor it was refunded to my debit account. Please instruct these service providers to refund my recharge amounts to my debit account earliest.

        Hi Team,
        I am Swaroop Roy Gavini, holding vodafone mobile number # [protected]. From the past 5 days iam waiting for SIM activation. I had been asked to roam around the vodafone stores but till now the issue is not resolved. All I get to hear from vodafone stores is that "there is system exception and so SIM activation failed". They tried to activate my SIM for atleast 5 times till now with almost 5 new SIM cards. And I get to hear only one thing, please wait for 24hrs to get your sim activated. From last Friday (06-July), it is the same situation. I am left with no personal contact from past few days and service people are not even sure when this SIM can be activated. So, i thought of escalating this issue.

          Dear Sir,

          I am a vodafone postpaid customer with number [protected]. I am really disappoint with the vodafone services. My sim was ported from prepaid aircel to postpaid vodafone on first week of April, that time employee of vodafone store, green park branch told me that i can convert this postpaid to prepaid after 90 days. After 90 days, I went 3 to 4 times and wait for 1 to 2 hour each day in that store. Finally, their employee after talking with store manager replied me that It is not possible to convert before 120 days. I know there is no such type of boundation of 120 days with conversion from postpaid to prepaid. And I paid vodafone postpaid bill 2 times, first payment of Rs 154 and second payment of Rs 160 due to their employee fault and they are not refunding my excess amount. Now my outstanding amount of my postpaid connection is -195.96. here negative means I paid in excess They are doing completely cheating with the customers .
          Please help me.

          This whole mess up and issue created by vodafone store green park branch, employee handled my issue is name "puja" . Now she gave me new postpaid sim with same mobile number instead of prepaid connection. Ialready talked with store manager. She is also making fool. This is only for so that this postpaid number get work till 120 days and they can get advantage. This really unexeptable

We have provided enough proofs just to show them that the number we called was from dena bank toll free number and it’s not an international number. We also email them detail bill, copy of dena bank document and a debit card picture which clearly state the phone number listed on the document is toll free. So far we had to complain to the nodal officer of gujarat for vodafone also made another complaint directly to vodafone customer care. The issue is still pending and has no update from them. So far there total 8 complaints to vodafone.

            I have also contacted the nodal office for the same issue. But it seems Nodal office has resolved the issue saying that the number was ISD. How can be able to solve the issue without dialing the listed number on my account? Or without any raverification? The ISD number listed in my bill is Dena Bank toll free[protected].‬ In order to verify if the number is ISD or not, he has to only dial it from there own phone number or one of your companies number. This seems the nodal officer is not doing his job properly. I need help with filing a lawsuit against Vodafone.

              Hello,

              I'm being charged a ridiculous amount by Vodafone for an International Roaming bill (Rs. 13, 000).

              I had travelled to USA last month and kept the Vodafone Sim on airport mode as I had bought a local SIM for US.

              Today I received the bill with approx 10000 Rs of data usage. The customer service is helpless as they can only read the bill and nothing else.

              I request Vodafone authorities to waive this huge amount from my bill.

                I have been charged for some value added services for which i have never opted. I had sent several messages to stop these VAS. Now i am billed for this. I have also been calling SEVERAL times to reverse these charges. Every time i am told that the matter will be resolved within 24 hours.Since the last 4 days i am continuously calling up. The time taken to speak to a customer care executive itself is 10 minutes as there are prerecorded information on schemes. Now i am fed up of calling everytime without getting a solution to my problem. HENCE I WANT TO DISCONNECT THIS. PLEASE NOTE I WILL NOT MAKE ANY FUTHER PAYMENT

                    Sir if u will check u will find I have register my compalint is regarding vodafone company my old no which is 9999074515 i was using since ten year. Suddenly got disconnect and when I call to cust care they said due to non usage we have stopped your service . This is a big issues how can they stopped my services and given that no to someone else without any prior notice. I have complaint to cust care but found no response I also complaint to their head office and given a written complaint about this no response. I also register compalint in trai. But not response. This is second time I am registering my compalint. Pls help me

                      Its been 15days and vodafone mobilr plan has not changed even after continuously contacting vodafone cuatomer care, vodafone store, vodafone app, through mails from last 13-15days but they are not initiating a plan change. All of my request through all modes are still pending.
                      They are just screwed up and just giving absurd reasons for non-activation.

                        I have made the payment of outstanding amount to vodafone through online but i was informed that they have not received the amount.

                        In this regard i contacted my bank and they have confrimed on successfull payment done to vodafone.

                        I made many calls to vodafone and also send them snap shot of my transaction to vodafone and moreover i forwarded the mail received from bank confirming the succesfull payment done to vodafone but no reply.

                        I am not been able to contact past 3-4 days due to outgoing barred. I cannot contact my relatives and friends and cannot replicate mails as well

                            This issue began in March, 2018.

                            I'm being charged a ridiculous amount by Vodafone for an International Roaming bill (Rs. 1, 74, 000).

                            The way their billing system is structured, it seems like they're easily able to place the responsibility on the customer by using deceptive terminology and obfuscating prices.

                            I'm now being threatened with legal action.

                            Here are the details of what happened:

                            - Didn't have any international roaming available on my phone and landed in a foreign country

                            - Activated an International Roaming Pack (Rs.6, 500)

                            - The International Pack expired in 10 days as planned (but without informing me, it also left the International Roaming Service activated - this is different from the 'International Roaming Pack' - both of which I naturally assumed amounted to the same thing)

                            - Accidentally used a very small amount of data (1.7GB), and proceeded to receive a bill of Rs. 1.74 lakhs.

                            - After going back and looking through the messaging from before I activated the Pack, the price quoted for usage is shown as Rs.10/10kb - the equivalent of this is Rs. 1 Lakh / 1 GB. This basically asks the customer to do calculations in the multiples of 100000s within seconds simply to understand the real value of any of that data usage. It's usually too late by the time this happens - as I had already consumed 1.7 GB because of how fast internet speeds are today.

                            - The notifications I did receive while the data usage was happening never bothered mentioning price - they only seem to mention usage in GB and never once mentioned that my bill had crossed the Dynamic Credit Limit or gone beyond my average bill, or even mentioned what my usage in Rupees was.

                            Now, I know that a single incident like this wouldn't be deemed as fraud. But - the way the entire system is structured - including the disabling of credit limits for international roaming and its sudden impact on the bill - must at least be acknowledged and modified?

                            There are so many identical complaints on this forum of people with the exact same issue, and probably a whole lot of people feeling this singular pain point. All of it seems to be a result of a whole lot of intentional miscommunication on Vodafone's part to trick the customer into not knowing the real value of their bill while roaming internationally.

                            Desired Resolution:
                            Someone needs to get Vodafone India to modify their deceptive system. There are way too many identical complaints just on this site. Imagine the number of people that they're harassing daily over the exact same issue.

                                I am Srinivas, bearing mobile number [protected] which is currently not working just because of Vodafone which am using this number for more than 10 years.

                                The thing is I have kept above vodafone number portability from Andhra Vodafone to Karnataka Vodafone by paying Rs 99/-, now as of May 23rd I got message to my alternative number ( [protected]) as my number is activated, but no signal has come. As I have done number of possibilities like removing SIM, switch off and switch on suggested by your customer care no use, you can check attached screenshot.

                                From then I have called and visited Andhra customer care and Karnataka customer care N number of times, no positive response from them. Now am in Mumbai, as suggested by your customer care, I have visited near by Vodafone store in Mumbai and they said they cant do anything from their end as this is not belongs to this circle and suggesting me to visit Karnataka store.

                                You people have broken my relation with my parents for now who stay in states it will hit you people I say.
                                This is the worst and bad experience I ever had in my life as well as disgusting and disappointing for me and other customers too who are joined with me.

                                Till now I had a positive thoughts about Vodafone, please don't make to loose this hope from me or any customer and try to resolve my issue and activate my number ASAP.

                                Let me know if anything required from my end. Early response would be highly appreciated

                                      Courier handed over to Ranchi DTDC office on 7-Jul-18 POD no. V46219764 but still not delivered to the destination. This type of issue we are always facing with DTDC and authorized person not even picking the phones. On faith we are sending valuable documents with extra payments but not getting adequate services. In Ranchi there some Misharji who is the authorized person at Ranchi but his response is very poor and he is not even picking phones at critical situations.

                                      Even 6th building vodafone network issue,

                                      already tried to changed sim slot, Iphone mobile, same issue,

                                      the issue is the network fluctuation is happening in vodafone even i have airtel connection but in airtel i don't have any network fluctuation, last 1 month i am trying get solution from vodafone people, it is droping call due to network, next problem was 4g unlimited pack 458 rs giving 2G speed, there is no worth of paying this much amount to get 2G speed instead of 4G,
                                      now again one more problem : unnecessary balance deduction happening even data pack is closed,
                                      please see the screen shot,

                                      service request number:2350076616 is closed without giving any solution,

                                        I converted my 2 idea no to vodafone postpaid and trying to get status about it but your service center person without giving me information and complete my question cut the phone or put my call on hold and also not giving me proper answer and that happens 3 to 4 time in a hour then what i do for thay can i cancel my postpaid request
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
