It’s been 3 days since i registered the complaint with act about internet connectivity issue and they kept on making false promises for resolving the same with a few hours, 24 hours, 48 hours and so on.. And still the same issue is going on. I’ve tried calling all act technicians whom i know in my area and they are just not fixing the issue. I’ve been calling the customer care number every now and then and they are just making false promises and some of them do not even have any update on the timeline. Some of them are very unprofessional in their behaviour as well and they are just playing with customer’s emotions and money.

My question here to act folks: you guys cheat us in every bill cycle. Whenever your services aren’t working and the issues are not resolved within 24 hours.. How do you compensate customers for that? In no way.. Right? You guys are just making money and cheating people on a daily basis.

I have complained regarding internet not working since 10 days. Till now there is no solution. The service is very poor. I believe the IT person visiting home does not have knowledge. I believe a strong action should be taken against this. When the complete amount is paid why there is so much delay. Everyday we have to follow up with this

    Hi team,

    I am nagaraj hs and staying in rr nagar bangalore with pin code 560098

    I had requested for a new internet connection last week and made the payment on the same day i. E., 13-may-2019

    Customer care executive told me that they need 3 days to get the new internet connection done. It's been 10 business days and i still haven't got the internet connection yet

    Action so far:

    1. A field technician named mr. Lokesh visited the site and told that we don't have any port available here to give the connections and he asked me to contact customer care.
    However, i understood from the customer care executive that they will take the payment only after checking if the ports are available in location

    Whom to believe here? Customer care executive or the field technician?
    Field technician left the place and never returned

    Several attempts were made to connect mr lokesh, but he never received my calls nor does he have enough courtesy to call back and update on what’s happening

    I contacted the customer care and escalated. Then this below happened

    2. Another executive visited the site and told us that a junction box has to be fit and we welcomed his ideas and told him to get it done wherever he feels right.
    He told he will come tomorrow and he never turned up even after continuous follow ups
    When he finally picked the call, he said that everyday his work location changes and he has been assigned to another area today and he can't help anymore and asked me to contact customer care

    I have notified customer care with everything that has happened so far. Customer care is only apologetic every time and only buys time to fix the issue

    I got a message that the sr[protected] will be resolved by 4pm today (24-may-2019). Not to my surprise, i still haven't got any call from a customer care executive or the field technician

    Is this the kind of customer experience one should expect from a reputed company like act. This is highly depressing and shows your commitment towards customer engagement and customer satisfaction

    If i knew that this is the kind of customer experience associating with act corp, i would have never gone for it nor will i recommend anyone within/outside of my network

      Hi,
      I have cancelled the act connection that was opted, even before the connection was operational in my residential address. I have paid a sum of rs.3750/- for 3 months. Due to various reasons i had to cancel the connection even before i got it at the address.

      I have been following up with the customer care from more than a month for the refund amount to be transferred to my account.

      Ticket number is sr[protected].

      The customer care representatives are very irresponsible and are not attending to my issue properly. They have been telling me that the amount has been processed and i do not see the amount credited in my bank account.

      The worst customer service representatives i have seen. They are closing my ticket without crediting the amount back to my account.

      Take this into priority and provide the refund amount back. Further to which, i would not suggest anyone to opt for act internet connection.

        I am existing customer of act fiber. Recently i was shifted from hyderabad to bangalore. I raised a request for deactivation of act account in hyderabad and new connection in bangalore as per act customer care advise. Account got deactivated in hyderabad. But, still i am waiting for new connection in bangalore from 2 weeks. I am always getting same reply from customer care team like "technician will call you and activate the new connection in two days". Due to which, i am unable to work from home and not able to attend skype calls. Even i paid half-year amount in the month of feb @ hyderabad and i have around more than 900 rupees in my previous account (I. E., hyderabad). I had plan to take new connection in bangalore and transfer the balance to new account. But, still waiting for new connection in bangalore. So, i am requesting act team either give new connection or please refund balance amount to my bank account. I will go with some other internet provider. I cannot wait and hear same repeated statements again and again. Please do the needful.

        I sent e-mail bangalore nodal offer and appellate team. There is no response from them yet.

          Act is not worth to subscribe. Bought the connection 2 days ago. It stopped working on the same night. Called customer service 4 times already, they all say the same thing (Rep will be there as soon as possible and issue will be fixed with in 24 hours...) bunch of lies, since i am waiting for more than 48 hours. Not going to subscribe with them after 3 months (Unfortunately paid for 3 months in advance).

On 24th wiring part has been done and your person has promised 48hr for activation.We are calling your customer care number almost trice a day and following about our activation.We have spoken regarding this issue to Vinod your nodel officer also he promised it will be completed by 4th may.Every day exculation department persons will ask for last chance 24hr time.

              This is to inform you that, i have cancelled my act connection (A/c #[protected] on 27th april 2019 and opted for refund.

              But till now nothing happened from your end.

              I would like to bring to your notice the following

              1. No one has called or visited our house for explaining how to connect to phone or pc after repeated requests also
              2. For cancellation also i raised queries en number of times
              3. For refund also same problem.

              This was a worst experience from act.

              I once again request you to refund my amount immediately.

                Hi,

                I'm act subscriber from last 5 years, facing worst experience in last few days, 14th i had raised request for relocation with same area (Moving out 2 lanes from current location).
                Where in relocation address have feasibility and entire apartment is serviced by act broadband. Just technician as to come and activate the portal connect the lan in split box.

                Feasibility check ticket has been raised and closed but field executive updated saying no connectivity in the locality

                Been following up with customer care each everyday no body is turning up at the site to resolve the issue,
                Every customer care person is telling 24 hrs will reslove it but none is turning up.
                Today i raised for disconnect of my subscription, from disconnection team sushma assured it will be resolved by 6:00pm of 20th may and will give update, none turned up nor gave an update

                No proper escalation metrics been followed in org., nobody knows about it.

                  It is strange that even after complaining on 18th may, the problem is not yet solved as on now 20th, may, 2019 (10.40 am).

                  The disturbance happens frequently and continuing for longer duration with out net connection. Please also see the recent past histories; it happened on 02/05/2019 and restored after (07/05/2019).

                  Now more than 2 days, but still waiting for the net connection.

                  The quality goes down day-by-day.

                  This type of poor quality of service is not expected from the reputed organisations like act.

                  The complaint was made on 17th May, 2019 evening through registered mobile and also on 18th morning through mail (the contact number and address). Therefore, the contact number and address are already captured in the system.

                  Now today (21/05/2019), we got the information that the connection is restored. Thank you for restoration of net connection after more than 3 days of disconnection.

                  Please see the recent past history and check the quality of service.

                  The previous disconnection happened at 3.15 PM on 07/05/2019. It was restored on the same day.

                  The another disconnection happened at 6.30 PM on 02/05/2019. It was restored at 10.00 AM on 05/05/2019.

                  Kindly try to improve the quality of service.

                    Sub: rectifiction of act fibernet connection & installation of gx box - reg

                    With reference to the above, i hereby bring this to your kind attention that the above mentioned act fibernet connection of a/c no.[protected], has been disconnected for a very long time (4 months) since febraury 2019.

                    We have made enourmous number of complaints (Nearly 15-20 times) in act customer care, they just raise a complaint and without even resolving the problem, they just send us another mail, saying "your complaint has been reloved & closed" but the problem has not yet been resolved till today.

                    We have already paid the payment in advance of 6 months, but we havent used our connection for the past 4 n half months.

                    We have tried to contact your area engineer, field workers, etc. Even they are not resolving it in any way. Few weeks before, their collection department person, rani mam & sheeba mam contacted us saying, that, we have advance payment of money valid till august 2019, they will attach us a separate gx box around for rs.2500/= and also they will rectify the connection & they will also wavier the money back for the unused months of act fibernbet connection. But still, no action taken yet!!!

                    We have tried to contact your customer care, field engineer, etc. But no1 is responsible. Experience with act this time is horrible. Past four months we are trying to sort out this issue, but still havent been solved yet. Please kindly rectify the connection with in this month or else please take back/cancel your connection and return us our advance payment money paid for the unused connection. We have no other way left.

                      My name is venugopal and my registered mobile number with act is [protected]. Due to a very bad service of act fibernet in our area, i wanted my connection to be deactivated and for this i called the act customer care. They take my details and put me on hold. And after som time the call gets disconnected. This is the same thing happened several times. Is this a some kind of training that act fibernet gives training to their call center executives when a customer ask for a deactivation. Not sure, it could be. I am not sure how to get out of this worst service provider.

                        I am surprised that there are already complains against act. I calculated that there are only 2 mobiles, and the total hours of youtube usage for regular hindi serials (Which means hardly they will be 720p which is about 0.9 gb per hour. And today the hours as per youtube accounts of my family members (2 of them) is 23 hours. And believe me act fiber net is showing 35 gb o[censored]sage. So far with airtel i never had this concern of over usage of data. But i guess having flexibytes feature where we have to purchase gbs beyond 400 gb, is what is making a good business for act fibernet. Really taken by a shock that a corporate with customers in so many cities is resorting to this cheap technique. And i don't think i would like to continue with such a provider in whom i lost trust. This is not ethical by any means. I think i am going to fight to cancel my account and give me back my advance that i paid for 12 months.

                          It's been 3 months, i had requested for connection shifting. Till now nobody had responded back properly. So i had requested for closing the account and reimbursement of the remaining amount.
                          Now nobody is picking the call to enquire about the status of the issue.
                          Later i had opted to take a new connection, so i call the number from the sign board kept for promotional purpose. These guys had given the connection in 6days. How come these guys had given connection immediately, where as it's not done by the act associates. I appears that act fiber services are became a pethetic and fraudulent ones.

                            I had requested customer care center for act blaze re-connection to my new address on 27-apr-2019 but no action has been taken from their end till date despite numerous calls to customer care center. The response from the team has been so bad that i am feeling sorry as to why i ever chose act broadband.
                            I have called and emailed and did everything in my power to get this issue resolved but they are not helping at all, instead make fake promises.

                            I am so disappointed in your services.

                              They are not providing the channels we have opted for.
                              Karnataka, bangalore. Act digital network collects money from customers and do not provide the channels, there is always black out for 15 to 20 days. They have taken our money and upsconded. Head office people are not responding at all. Most of our locality people have lodged complaint but it's of no use. They are not at all responding for anything.
                              Before they supplied us with den cable network now it's act cable network. What happend to den? They are not telling us. We contacted the den office they say we have not supplied any services to your locality. Then what exactly is happening?
                              I would like to say that you must ban act cable network from the market.

                                My act user id is 11339629. I have taken this connection five year back and they installed the modem and given 30 mbps plan. After that they upgraded the plan with higher speed. Recently i found that router (Modem) which they installed doesn't support the higher speed of 75 mbps. I raised the same query with act and relationship manager which works in indira nagar bangalore.in place of providing support he was rude to me. I am paying for the plan which i haven't use from last two years. Now other act representative calling and suggesting to buy new router (Modem). I want new modem free of cost or the difference of the plans which they upgraded.

                                  I made a payment for internet connection on may 5th and no one has come to install the servce till now. I have been calling the customer service everyday and they just say wait for 24 hours to receive a call. It's almost been a week and i have received no call and there is no connection.

                                  I even sent emails and it's been 4 days. There is no response from them too. I am not knowing whom to approach to get the issue resolved. I want someone to either provide the connection or to cancel and give me full refund.

                                  I called customer care on Saturday and was yet asked again to wait for 24 hours. I had no choice but to write an email to the nodal officer (e-mail address is on their website) and the appellate authority and to my surprise, they responded immediately and arranged for a call from the concerned team. I got the installation done today. Though I am happy that the nodal team responded, I am still upset that the customer care did not take any ownership to resolve the issue. ope they give proper training to these reps and improve co-ordination between their teams.

                                    The local service boys are not capable of giving proper resolution.
                                    The customer care number is unreachable always.
                                    Once they said the junction box needs to be shifted to our building from the neighboring building. Took almost a week.
                                    No result. Then they changed cable wire.
                                    Asked me to change modem and left. After about an hour modem started working again. For about 3 hours. The complaint was reopened. Complaint number sr[protected]. This happened about a week back. Since then i am reopening the complaint. They are closing it within 5 minutes.
                                    I smsed to nodal officer at [protected]@actcorp.in but of no avail.
                                    I informed the appellate authority also. No use till today.
                                    I smsed them again that i want to close the account and get back the money. No action and no reply too.
                                    Even the nodal officer and the appellate authority are like zombies.

                                    even i am asking to provide refund back still that also not happen.

                                      Their executive came on monday and collected documents and said that a technician will come and install. As nobody came, i called on tuesday. Customer service is pathetic, unprofessional rude and irresponsible. They kept saying that i will get a call which never happened. I called on wednesday. Customer care executives kept disconnecting my call and one lady said again that i will get a call which never happened.

                                      I contacted the person who collected the documents and he also kept saying that he will send the technician but that did not happen. I called today and again they disconnected my calls. Their website states it is 24 hours service but this is false and misleading. I can't even cancel as they keep disconnecting the call. Now, i have no money and no connection.

                                      If this is how they treat a new customer, no wonder why i want this to be resolved asap. I just called thrice today, and when i spoke to the sales team they said you should speak to the service team and they disconnected my call. I contacted the service team, they kept saying that they don't have my account at all and should speak to the sales team and this agent was very very rude and not empathetic at all. Now i am on hold for a long time and disconnected my call. I called the service team and this guy was not able to get my details and said that we can't do anything and i have to speak to sales team and he disconnected my call as i got upset. I called the sales team and once again another guy said the details are available online and they deal only with new sales i have to speak to service team and will transfer the call and the call got disconnected.

                                      I really regret considering the services of this company.

                                      I called the service team and this time with some effort a guy was able to see the records. He said that the account id has not been created till now by the concerned team which is the reason for the delay in installation. He asked me for another 24 hours again. I have no choice, do I? I said that I wanted to cancel it and you know how he responded?? His words, " How can we cancel when we don't even have your account id?". Is he asking me a question??? It is as if I did not do my job in getting my account id created. There is nothing I can do now but to just wait and keep calling these people only to be DEMANDED to wait. If this is how they treat a new customr, no wonder how they consider the issues!!! I either want the service to be installed or cancelled and refunded full amount in 24 hours.                                       I just called the service team as I wanted to get a contact number of the concerned team who is supposed to create an id and this time, and again this lady was unable to pull up my records. What should I say????? I said I just spoke an hour ago with a guy named Sai from her team and he was able to see my records with the same phone number.She spoke so rudely and said to me that I have set my mind to misunderstand her. I told that your mind is not right not mine and she said ok fine and disconnected the call. I was not rude and she used this statement against me. I really can't understand how they are trained to be so rude to their customers. They don't have respect for others and are not scared to even disconnect the call. What kind of ethics is this business following???? I have worked for international customer care as a quality analyst and have 6 years of experience and do you know what happens if somebody speaks like this. You would loose your job!!!You people just remind that this is India and this is how we are going to be!!!

                                      Called on Friday, no surprise...was asked to wait 24 hours for a call. No call!!! Called today, again asked to wait 24 hours. This is the only statement that I am hearing from the customer care since Monday! Can't cancel neither can get connection. Completely stuck with no connection!!!

                                        I requested for act beam connection however executive took me 6 month advance as 7176 and promised to get me connection in 1 week on 2 april, today is 8 may no connection so far, i want my refund, have called to customer center but no response.
                                        It takes 10 minute to get connected to customer center and they diclined my call many times, niether executive pick the call nor manager.
                                        Please help me to get my refund/connection, appriciate if you set any example that nobody could do in this future.

                                        I am frustrated with your pathetic service when you can't provide the connection then why don't you refund the money, 9connection supposed to be provided by 20 April 2019 while today is 16 may 2019, i have been following customer care, they all say thay in 48 hours connection will be provided, i got a call this week that server is not available in my locality so we will provide the refund, when will give my own money, Guys please suggest any idea, i am.planning to take a strict action now, I wasted my time even could not buy other connection because of their false wordസ്, please suggest any idea or else I can file fir against the company I have all the proof.
