Hello, For the past two days, I was trying to reach your customer care and it infinitely going through a waiting response. My Internet is not at all working and there are frequent disconnection issue also. My customer id : 460564 and user Id : 10688102. I have already send an email to [protected]@acttv.in and there was no response. Please let me know whom can I contact? If you don't have proper customer care, how can you provide a good service?? Such a waste of time.. Also let me know the procedure for closing the connection. Thanks, Jayanth.

    My Act broadband connection is not working since last one week and I have registered a complaint with ACT customer care on 16 Jun 2014. I have been following up with their customer care team every day for resolving the issue. The surprising act is that I have not received any call from their technical team as promised by their customer care executives that I would be receive a technical team member call to fix the issue over phone. I have made repeated calls to customer care to arrange a call with technical team and still no response from them. To be more specific, I have made 3 calls on 17 Jun 2014, 4 calls on 18 Jun 2014 (each call would make a customer wait for 5 to 10 mins and then customer executive would answer the call) for just to request them to arrange for a technical team call to resolve the internet issue as promised them earlier on 16 Jun 2014. However, I have not received any call from them until today (19 Jun 2014) and I have decided to disconnect the connection if I do not receive technical team call to resolve the issue. The customer care executive says that they would need 24 working hours (i.e. 3 working days) to resolve the issue and its been 3 working days since my initial complaint registered (Complaint # [protected]) and I do not see any action happening from their end today also (i.e. 19 Jun 2014). I have never ever experienced such a worst customer care response towards any issue in my life and the ACT team looks like they does not want to resolve the issue even after making so many false promises to arrange a call with technical team person. Please guys, whoever is reading this post, don't be a victim of ACT broadband false promises and promotions. If someone from ACT broadband team reading my complaint, I request them one more time to resolve the broadband issue as soon as possible. Its so scary reading remaining complaints in this forum as people say their broadband issue fixed after 20 days or after 3 weeks...I dont have patience wait for so many days just waiting for someone to call me or fix my internet issue. I hope my issue will resolved soon.

      I have recently taken a ACT broadband connection and after installation I'm unable to connect it internet. Ethernet cable is not at all detected. I have been calling for service, the personnel attends the call and assures to fix it. I'm trying from 2 days he is giving the same reply.         I have a Broadband connection from Beam Telecom Pvt. Ltd. H.No. 8-2-610/A, TRZ Arcade, Road, No. 10, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad 034, and H.No. 502, Amsri Shamira, Opp. St. Marys College, Old Lancer Road, Sec'bad -061, Receipt for paying Rs. 6174 on March 14 for six months service in advance. From 30 May to June 15 I put it on hold, as I was out of station, but they have not reconnected even after requesting more than ten times on 16 June, 17 June and 18 June 2014. They always answer from a call centre, ask for my details, even if I give the complaint ticket number. Then they say, from now onwards in 24 hours it will be addressed. Again I call and request, as nothing is done. Then again the reply, in 24 hours from now onwards it will be addressed. Has the consumer no human rights?         I called up the Beam Fiber again at 16.50 today, 18 June 2014. The same recorded like reply from the only number [protected]. In 24 hours sir. Is there no possibility in this country to get justice? Should I approach the court?

          Hi, We have Beam Fiber broadband connection and recently we had a connection problem and complained to customer care and the response we got is within 24 hours the representative will come and fix the issue. Now, it's 6days(144hrs) and we made frequent phone calls, but we received same answer saying that representative will come and fix it in 24 hrs, but no one turned up. I do online trainings and project works for students in abroad, now I have lost my 6 days of payments as well as my reputation as a trainer. I have no other option recovering my loss except putting it in consumer forum. If they would have told me straight away that we cant fix the issue in 24 hrs and it will take 7days or more, then I would have taken other alternative connections. When ever I called they always I got the response that in two hours the representative will come and fix the issue, but no one turned up. I appreciate the Beam telecoms for advertising as LEADING BROADBAND service provider, but if they continue to ignore the customer needs it will soon become a L(D)YING BROADBAND service provider. Beam Fiber COLLECTS regular payments from the customer, but they don't bother to CORRECT the technical problems to have permanent customers. My complaint No:12731457 I would appreciate

            Dear sir I have applied for new internet connection from Beam fiber in hyderabad on 6th June, 2014 and immediately the technical team has arrived at my house to collect the payment of Rs.1672/- and assured me the connection in 48 hrs and has given me the receipt with A/c. no.733936. They have installed the cable also the next day., ie. on 7th June. Thats the end of their service. From that day on wards i am keep on calling to the customer care every day min. 3 to 4 days to enquire about my connection. The same story follows that they will rectify the problem in 24 hrs and give the connection. I have fed up with their service and requested for cancellation of the new connection on 16th June, so that i can apply for internetservice from other operators. Still there is no response. I am just fed up and there are no other numbers to contact the higher ups. When ever I call the customer care, they issue a ticket no.s. 12603280, 12638167, and these nos are keep on issuing on SMS. I have incurred more than 200 rs just on phone calls as each call costs 3rs. for their service. If they cannot handle the service, please refund my money, and let me take connection from other operators. This is for your immediate action Regards Martin [protected]

Everyday i keep calling your customer care and I get the same response that a technician will call me by EOD. are you sure you have a techinician who will give me a call?

              I have raised the request for shifting of my connection from kaverappa layout to Koramangala 8th block on 25th of Aug 2014 and request no is [protected]. It was said that tie it will take maximum of 15 days for shifting connection. There executive called me for document collection on 02nd September 2014 and has mailed me the relocation form. I have mailed him the filled relocation form along with document for address proof.
              Today is 8th of September 15 days have passed and none of the executive has called me regarding re installation of connection on my new address. Everyday I am calling the ACT customer care and come to know about new story sometime like they haven't received the document of new address or it has not been updated in system, sometimes they say request has been raised for installation and will be installed in next 24hrs, only one thing common in all call is sorry for inconvenience and irritate the customer, and they are still having my INR 3000+ with them. If I would have been knowing that in shifting connection I will have to bear so much pain then I would have asked for my money and have aborted the connection and would have opted for new connection in that area which I think they install much faster.

                Hi Team, This is horrible, how many complaints a person can raise and Remember useless ticket numbers and waste money calling you customer service, its almost 12days I don't have Internet connection, your team kept on telling Sending technician, where you are sending him, United States to sit and search in GOOGLE from there my home address, from Bangalore to Bangalore local how many days you need to send, I am telling you people are not ready to fix the issue get rid your useless connection from my house, you are not only the one to provide service, I can take any corporate connection, and keep in mind its once you get a customer its your duty and responsibility to fix the issue with in agree TAT, you are not offering any FREE service, WE ARE PAYING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR WHICH WE STILL NOT USED FOR THAT MONTH. Value the days andt ime, do you know 12days what does it mean you people. What all can happen in12 days, to fix one small issue you are taking 12 days that would be 288 Hours.                   Hi All, My name is Murali V, I live in Hoysala Nagar and I am writing to you after having spoken to the customer care, emailed help desk It’s been 3 weeks now since my Internet connection is not working properly. I lodged a complaint with Act 2 times and I was assured my Internet issue would be fixed by 6:30 pm on June 11th June.                     ACT Broadband account number: 817206 (Chennai) We took the ACT broadband connection on 31-May-14. The very next day broadband was not working continuously for 36 hrs. From 31st May till 11th Jun we have registered about 6 complaints for each connection outage. There were no proper response from ACT customer care. Every time we had to continuously follow up to get the issue resolved. Please help to get the amount of Rs.1799 that we paid initially to get the connection. Also help to get us additional Rs.10000 as penalty as we had loss of business due to inconsistent internet connection, spent money, time and effort to speak to the customer care to get the issues resolved.                     Hello ACT,
                    This issue has not be resolved yet. The connection got disconnected again today (19-Jun-2014). This is the 7th time happening in less than 20 days. Each time When contacted the customer care, we have been told that it will take about 24 hours to solve the issue.

                    Even after making several complaints with the ACT customer care, no responsible senior manager has bothered to call the customer and check about the issue.

                    I will also take this issue to all social media possible so that other consumer doesn't get CHEATED by ACT Broadband.

                      We have paid 1572/-for a new connection of beam(15mbps)on 29th of May 2014 -Bill receipt number:137311. The marketing executive is Mr.G.Ravi who have been followed up with us until we paid the cash.

                      He assured us that the connection will be done in 5 days before 6th June'2014 and as ours is a urgent requirement he assured in 3 days .but after that never responded to our calls until now..

                      We have called customer care more than 10 times but the response was very vague and rude.

                      Every time the customer care executive will response that our issue is escalated and we will be receiving the response in next 1 hour..but no call or update from company neither executive.

                        The most fastest domestic purpose broadband service provide ACT in Bangalore is having the worst customer support and site engineers to address the complaints.

                        I have my connection down on 3-Jun-2014 and I had registered the complaint-[protected] for which no progress was done after a service engineer Manikant(phone-[protected]) from ACT visited and said as night he cannot identify the connection and fix this. After this he assured to fix that in morning which he never came and I tried calling him and for twice he said some other person will take care and later to which no one is taking responsibility. Now from 2 days he is not even answering my calls.

                        I see this as the worst behaviour that ACT has hired such neglecting service engineers and hoping to provide the best broadband in Bangalore.

                        I request ACT broadband nodal officers in Thanisandra region of Bangalore, to take this request on priority and resolve the issue ASAP with personal interest and not with useless engineers like Manikant you have.

                          I am using Beam telecom for Internet service and my Internet is not working for last 15 days. I have called them several times, but no use. It's a worst service provider. They always say issue will be resolved in 24 hours whenever you call.

                          Jaipal Reddy, I totally agree with you, I never saw such a worst service in my life, trust me BSNL was lot better. beam is such a worst service, they do not even refund the money for internet nonworking days, the escalation department is the biggest of the joke. the moment you forward a unresolved complaint you get a sms saying "we hope your problem is resolved" and close the ticket again. am having the same problem with beam last few weeks trying to shift to poineer to see if their service is any better. or finally back to BSNL at least I get the speed they promised and line always active unlike beam where do not even know what joke service they are providing to others

                            Hi All, My name is Winston Antony Almeida, I live in TC Palya, KR Puram and a victim of Act broadband’s pathetic internet connection. I am writing to you after having spoken to the customer care, emailed helpdesk and also updated issues on Facebook and twitter. It’s been 6 days since my internet connection isn’t working, as per my dad, it wasn’t working since 30th May, but since I wasn’t in town, I lodged a complaint with Act on Sunday, June 1 2014 and I was assured by a certain “Praveen Kumar” that my internet would be fixed by 6:30 pm on June 1st after having gone through my twitter page and the Facebook wherein i had mentioned about ACT broadband’s disappointing Internet service. What surprises me is that when I opted for ACT, the person in charge of collecting forms (Nathan Novan) came in running and was at my doorstep in 15 minutes, he collected the cheque etc and left only to assure me that there would barely be any problems with ACT broadband. Once the Internet was installed, or March 17th, I’ve faced terrible issues, I’ve not had internet for 4-5 days straight (the same has been updated on Facebook, along with the screenshots of complaint numbers I received). You could also check twitter for reference (@winston1306) Just want to know, if this is a scam? Because I have never faced anything like this ever!!! As a matter of fact, my old ISP BSNL, worked without issues, and even if there were, it would be fixed without having to complain to them. Every day that I call “your” customer service, I have been assured it will be fixed that very day but to no guarantee and this goes on and on. Also, in regards to the Turnaround Time, I was mentioned 24 hours at the time of being a customer, now they say 24 business hours, which means 3 whole days of no internet. When is this issue due to be rectified? By the way, I had a call with Avinash from customer care department yesterday around 6:30pm (You could check the call details and hear him say the timeline) “Sir, the issue might take a month or longer to be fixed!!” I also feel your Network Engineer’s are not qualified enough to do the job, as they have come to my place atleast 10-15 times in the last one month to fix my problem alone. Their names are – Vinod Kumar and Arun Kumar. I am also updating the same in the consumer court forum as this considered to be public harassment.                               Greetings, I am using Beam telecom for internet service and my internet has not been working from past 3 days. I have called them already 8 times in these 3 days and the issue is still not fixed. It looks like no one is bothered to look into it or care about it. All my work has been held up as I work from home some times. This happens 3-4 times every month. Thanks

                                I am from Bangalore, Srinagar area, my Internet is not working from last 5 days, despite raising complaint there is no proper response, even I threaten to disconnection the connection they are least bothered, this month I have got almost Rs.150 extra mobile due to repeated calls which I have made to Act Broadband customer care. This is not happening for the first time, their connection is not consistent, suddenly it disconnects and everytime I need to call customer care. I am in trouble because of this, I work in a industry where I need to support my team / client midnight and just imagine the situation.

                                I do Agree with this comment. ACT Internet service is worst than ANYTHING.. You'll enjoy speed and connectivity only for the 1st 30days.. After that It's really hard to deal with them.. ACT INTERNET SUCKS>> Don't go for it... From JAYANAGAR 2nd Block.

                                  Dear sir/madam, I am G, geetha from Hyderabad. I subscribed to BEAM telecoms on 25/5/2014 for 6 months package BMAX-, 2660 with Registered mobile number :[protected], i called to customer care unable to connect hardly when i get connected they said tech is going to come when came he is saying power supply is not available from were we connect the beam its very silly reason again i called they are saying tech will be coming till yet not responded either plz refund me or else get connected as soon possible.

                                    I have paid Rs1710/- for reinstallation of my connection on 20th May 2014. My beam service ticket no is 12439979. The commitment date for re-installation was on 20th May itself. However since the last 4 days I am have not been able to login. I have made innumerous calls to Customer Support and all they do is to update the information. Today its 24th May (4.30pm) and not a single technician has even called us. It seems Beam is just not bothered about its customers. Everytime customer care simply asks us to wait for 24 hrs and still no connection. I asked the customer care if I could get a Supervisor's number but they simply say that they don't have any. l would really appreciate if some serious action can be taken on them so that they resolve this issue ASAP.                                       Bills already been paid for whole month, my 40 GB o[censored]sage (15 mbps speed) hadnt been fully utilized and internet slowed down around 30 to 32 gb o[censored]sage. Now while i complain customer care regarding this i am told that my FUP of 40 GB has already been finished.I have been using slow internet after my 30 to 32 odd GBs and now way to recover 8-10 gb lost due to their damn problem. Its not about the 8-10 gb that i have lost this much, its about the service the so called 4th latest broadband ACT is giving and their reply from customer care to get away from the problem.                                         I have paid on 4th may for 6months, they came and fixed the main box on stairs by 13th may and not given the connection, since 16th of may i have been calling to them morning and evening, the customer care team is telling we will forward the request to area manager, they will call back you and solve your problem, from 16th they are repeating the same, no one called me, no one attended to give the connection. I sent mail as well twice, no one replied. My complaint number is [protected]. Is there any thing can we put a case against themI fed up to call them, but trying with my patience.

                                        Thanks for your update. As i got informed that tomorrow evening even any time by 7-30 or 8pm it will be resolved, but yesterday also not came. Hope at least today it will be resolved. If not it will be as usual. Or else please accept for you can't install and pay back my amount
