Hi All,
My name is Winston Antony Almeida, I live in TC Palya, KR Puram and a victim of Act broadband’s pathetic internet connection.
I am writing to you after having spoken to the customer care, emailed helpdesk and also updated issues on Facebook and twitter.
It’s been 6 days since my internet connection isn’t working, as per my dad, it wasn’t working since 30th May, but since I wasn’t in town, I lodged a complaint with Act on Sunday, June 1 2014 and I was assured by a certain “Praveen Kumar” that my internet would be fixed by 6:30 pm on June 1st after having gone through my twitter page and the Facebook wherein i had mentioned about ACT broadband’s disappointing Internet service.
What surprises me is that when I opted for ACT, the person in charge of collecting forms (Nathan Novan) came in running and was at my doorstep in 15 minutes, he collected the cheque etc and left only to assure me that there would barely be any problems with ACT broadband. Once the Internet was installed, or March 17th, I’ve faced terrible issues, I’ve not had internet for 4-5 days straight (the same has been updated on Facebook, along with the screenshots of complaint numbers I received). Just want to know, if this is a scam? Because I have never faced anything like this ever!!! As a matter of fact, my old ISP BSNL, worked without issues, and even if there were, it would be fixed without having to complain to them.
Every day that I call “your” customer service, I have been assured it will be fixed that very day but to no guarantee and this goes on and on. Also, in regards to the Turnaround Time, I was mentioned 24 hours at the time of being a customer, now they say 24 business hours, which means 3 whole days of no internet.
When is this issue due to be rectified? By the way, I had a call with Avinash from customer care department yesterday around 6:30pm (You could check the call details and hear him say the timeline) “Sir, the issue might take a month or longer to be fixed!!”
I also feel your Network Engineer’s are not qualified enough to do the job, as they have come to my place atleast 10-15 times in the last one month to fix my problem alone. Their names are – Vinod Kumar and Arun Kumar. I am also updating the same in the consumer court forum as this considered to be public harassment.
