Hi,
I applied for HDFC Regalia on 21 Dec, 2018 and checking the eligibility.
Application Reference # - 18L[protected]CN
I have a saving account and a credit card with HDFC already. My salary gets credited every month in saving account, my credit card is set for auto pay.
In fact I pay in advance sometime, this month's I paid more than a lakh in advance.
Now my application got declined citing this reason -
"We observe from our records that we have issued a credit card earlier to you and the said credit card account is currently suspended due to service/repayment/dormancy related reasons.
Hence, we regret to inform you that we would be unable to process your current application for issuance of a credit card at this stage.
Assuring you of our best services at all times."
Which best service and which suspended card are you talking about? There is no service but nonsense. In Dec, 2016 you linked someone else's credit card to my saving account and put a hold on my account and started deducting amount from my saving account. I had to get that resolved in 1 month - these are the correspondence number - [protected].

You guys removed the hold and refund the amount but did you ever care about removing that card from credit history. This is the best service you talk about?
I called the customer care about the same issue few day back - reference # - [protected]. And replied on the 2 year old mail about why you are seeing a suspended card on my credit history, got a call from your customer care, but has there been any action after that. I wonder they ever cared about that after putting down the phone.
I have been an old HDFC customer and this his how you treat your loyal customers. The fact that you can't resolve a simple issue and I cant get a credit card as per my need despite having a salary account and a credit card with you already make me think about switch to some other bank for my banking need.
Go check my credit card transactions, pay history, my salary credits and then tell me about the suspend account you talk about and after that I'm going to close all my accounts with you. I'm not going to waste anymore of my time, calling your customer care where you seldom find human, writing thousand of mails, wait for month to get a resolution and then years later see that issue was never resolved properly - I better start looking elsewhere.
