In march i bought my redmi not 4 along with insurance of accidental damage warranty from one assist.
I just bought when i purchased the phone.
Few week back accidentally my phone fell down from my hand at home broke my screen at that time i contact to one assist for clam.
At that whole story was started first of all during contact to the team they asked the whole process will take min 20- 25 days to get a repair from insurance. I was just surprised is i am getting insurance or admitting my mobile for diagnostics test or phone is undergoing cancer treatment which takes long time to fix (Min 20- 25) days.
I completely understand about official formality and paper work. But to fix my phone need to send my phone and then it will take approx days that is very annoying and unprofessional.
While fixing that time i am not getting any phone for the time being how will i do my work.
Also while talking to a team member, they just verbally tell me about policy cover.
Which is quite an unprofessional way without sending any documentation of terms and conditions. I bought 2 other insurance from one assist same as like mine they didn't even send me proper documentation. Before my mobile phone problem. I didn't even notice this.
Further, if i send my phone how will i get assured internal components will not be replaced with low quality or removed. As far as i know, the insurance company only recommend the service center for a claim not take the device for repair for 10 days. Which is again annoying.
Moreover, on the website there are no written terms and conditions of policies cover, team member verbally told me what it covers which is an again unprofessional way to give insurance.
As well when i started my whole process one of customer representative told me when phone pickup team will come when u have to sign one form for terms and conditions. Which actually is from national insurance company, when i asked what is this? First, they gave lame excuse which makes me doge about company policies.
At last, i want to say i don't want to give my phone for that long period because i don't have any other phone and have doge talks with one assist confusing me a lot...
