Booked oyo 3541 hotel galaxy annexe through oyo website on a non-refundable basis looking at fancy pictures of the hotel and facilities on the page. The page refuses to mention that there are no lifts in the hotel which is prerequisite for every building and hotel. Had booked the hotel for my parents who are senior citizens and who can't climb floors easily. The staff refused to help us and was extremely rude. The staff didn't even help in connecting us to the oyo captain when he saw we were struggling with the oyo call centre. The receptionist refused to take any responsibility for anything. This is absolute misrepresentation and we seek complete refund.

    This is the email which i sent to makemytrip and oyo just 10-15 mins back.
    My family (Mom and brother) is denied check-in @hotel augusto (Oyo 4009 hotel augusto. They are still standing outside the hotel as i am writing this email.
    This is really utmost ridiculous experience i have ever had.
    Unable to contact any live person on makemytrip numbers - [protected]/+[protected].
    After long time i got into the chat with live agent and then chatted for almost 27 mins then they said will call within 30-45 mins but it's been close to 1.5 hr but still waiting for the call even after i explicitly provided 3 numbers - [protected]/[protected]/[protected].
    Also talked with oyo on this but still no resolution. Hotel management in the conference with oyo clearly said that we are not accepting any prepaid booking because my payment is still pending since last 3+ months.
    So, right now i have started another chat with makemytrip but it's been almost another 45 mins and still waiting for live agent in addition to waiting for the call. So, decided to write this email but still not sure if this will help to resolve this issue. Still my family is waiting outside in varanasi on the road (Current time: 9:40 pm ist). Police also came but still no resolution.

    Hi Makemytrip/OYO,

    So, finally after waiting for 12+ hours I called you guys(Makemytrip) instead of you giving us a call back and only to hear "I am sorry there was some technical issue so we could not look in the issue but we are working on this now." Seriously, what you guys will do now when check-in was denied yesterday and we were stranded. Didn't you have any courtesy to call after 30-45 mins yesterday which you had committed? Forget about commitment for a moment and recall the word "HUMANITY" (which I think is somehow completely wiped out from your mind) and tell me why you guys did not call yesterday when it was made loud and clear from our side that check-in was denied and we are waiting outside the hotel.

    If you have any issue with "OYO 4009 Hotel Augusto" then why don't you delist from your website or make it invisible to your customers until you resolve the issue internally.

    We(customers) should not be facing any issues because of your internal dispute. In the conference, OYO customer representative did not utter a word except "Yes Sir" when hotel manger was bombarding with all the questions like it's been 3 months I did not get paid from you guys so I am denying all prepaid online customers. After hearing this I understood that definitely I am not the first customer who was denied at hotel but it would have happened with several others also.
    I also asked both (Makemytrip and OYO) to connect with senior person but why this will happen? Not sure what privacy is involved that they cannot transfer to senior management. Unnecessary, please stop using any jargons in terms of privacy, internal policy etc. If you cannot connect to the concerned senior person then please resolve the issues at your end.

    And please try to categorize the issues based on nature of the criticality and not only based on first come first service. Like, if anybody's family is standing outside the hotel that automatically should become your utmost priority and should be ranked to the top of the your priority list, even in the case of change in shift as well, in comparison to the ticket(problem) who is merely waiting for refund etc. So, this time in this particular situation I took care of this on behalf of yours. We paid extra money and checked-in into a hotel during midnight which was 5 hours after this situation occurred. I am really sorry to say this but please try to do your job diligently.

    Please take this kind of issue seriously and do not involve customers in this type of altercation.

    I await your immediate response from both Makemytrip and OYO with detailed explanation.

      I have visited the tara ji resort for staying there but reception manager told that they don't have any tie-up with oyo. I also complaint to oyo customer care they are not given any satisfactory answer and hold the call two times. Due to which i was suffered mentally and physically. So i will complaint this to consumer forum.

        I have booked a room at hotel hotel blue mount (I'd vjno6058) in varanasi when i reached there to check in, i was denied check in citing issues of hotel with oyo. Same problems in aallahbad hotel (R inn i'd mlju8036)

        Hotel receptionist said we are not following the amounts which mentioned in oyo site we charge higher amount if you want check in out you can talk to oyo customer care i talk to customers help desk but unfortunately not get proper resolution and i have to check in hotel given price not the amt mentioned by oyo no point to use oyo. I m frequently with oyo customer but now i have to think now before using oyo website..

        Oyo management needed more focus now check with all hotels make strong agreement so that this people cannot refused from oyo side.

          I have booked oyo 19455 summer palace, with bookingid: tnml0514 on 26.06.2019 for 6th to 8th july 2019 at amount of rs 2065.

          I called the hotel on 1st july 2019 to confirm my booking, they told me that they have no any tie ups with oyo. They also suggested me to cancel the booking. Then i have cancelled the booking on the same day.

          There after i called oyo many times, their executives intiated the refund all the time and told me to wait 7 to 14 days. But till date i have not get any refund.

          I called them many times, they need all my details and all concerns every time and i have to wait on hold upto 30 minutes, after that one executive may answer call and also call dropped in between many time.

          Now it's over 40 days, today, 10th august 2019 called them, they told me that refunded amount has been transfered to my phone pe account. But no any reflection on my transaction page. I called phone pe customer support team, they said that no any transaction has been done from oyo regarding my refund. Again i called oyo many times but they are not giving me the good response. They cut the line in between.

          We pay the booking amount at the earliest to do a smmoth booking of hotels and to experience a better to best service from them, but in return they face us lots of terms and conditions... We faced lots of problems during our tour, only because of oyo.

          Please give me a proper solution.

          No response from your side and no response from OYO till now. I called OYO yesterday, they suggested me to check my balance in bank account. But there is no any transaction by them. I asked for detailed proof of the transaction, but they denied to provide me proof. Please solve my problem.

            Want the resolution for the below transactions as soon as possible.

            1st booking : lszu8205 for rs 2572/- paid through credit card, same has been cancelled by oyo team due to your internal miscommunication with your hotel partner and you (Due to low tariff the hotel management denied checkin), the same has been refunded to my source account.

            They (From oyo side) have booked the hotel again for the same date and the same hotel for rs-3600/- he committed me that the difference amount of rs - 1028/- also will get refunded once i checked in.[protected]=1028), since the issue is from oyo side.

            For that am following up for the past 1 week to get the refund, whenever i call they put my call on hold for more than 20-25 mins then the call will get disconnected automatically.

            No resolution has been give still.

              My booking id number is dcaq6724 i am booked at crystal palms highway restaurant it gulbarga when go the lodge large staff says you are not allowed 😡 i am book the last month june xxii present date i have no refund this is ridiculous and i am go to the consumer customer forum when i call a customer care customer executive and customer supervisor told me that you can't call this number you contact our superior officer or i can't help you i am helpless

                I have booked a room at hotel vinayak in udaipur and payment was done at the time of booking only. Now when i reached today to check in, i was denied check in citing issues of hotel with oyo.

                Neither oyo nor hotel informed me earlier about the issue when payment was done. Now because of this i had to check in to another hotel with an higher charge because of instant check in.

                Oyo has to refund me difference amount that i have to pay at the new hotel.
                Kindly treat this as a notice which is to be given to service provider before 7 days before filing any consumer court suit.

                Either oyo has to refund me 1638+ extra amount i paid to new hotel i. E.[protected]= 1722 to my account or else i would be left with no other option but to file a suit against oyo in consumer court

                    I had booked hotel from 10th to 13th august in mathura booking no. Pvui7018.
                    As i want early check in and checked in at 8.30 am on 10th august hotal had taken inr 1400 as early check in charges but informed by oyo it should be 30% of earlier day tariff rate so amount should be approx inr 500 but property manager told inr 1400 and receipt not given to me. I had paid inr 1400 to hotel as i was helpless.

                      oyo rooms booking are fake

                      I have book 15 rooms thru oyo and paid confirmation amount rs 3767 online. Hotel property is not accepted my booking thru oyo online. Hotel replied like they have a payment related issues with oyo. When i contacted oyo customer care number to refund my money because the hotel which you were booked is not accepting as such, oyo employee who attend and listening my issues he was sarcastic about my issues just imitate same like me.                       I have booked a room with oyo with booking id zeck3987. Three rooms were booked for a day in 1929. We reached at 9 pm at hotel. On arrival when we asked for checkin hotel manager has denied to checkin with that amount and asked 1000 per room.
                      We called oyo 4 times everytime they talks and put me on hold for 15 min. Since it was too late in night and i was with family i have to 3000 for three rooms.

                      I want to escalate this issue and would like to fine oyo for this. This was not a expected behaviour from oyo.

                        Due to some issue my hotel didn't get confirmed and but amount got deducted, but after complaining i got email for refund but not yet received.

                        All customer care guys are fooling now and not transferring call to me to manager.

                        Now telling that's they won't do it...

                        I got email stating 7-14days will get refund now not even getting and neither my calls are attended.

                        The issue is not yet resolved and it's been very rude.

                        You all can't even keep your commitments and all.

                        I have not got any response from OTA STILL,
                        They are fooling and not giving my refund even after their commitments, they are really a big scams.

                        I have made a very bad choice by selecting OYO .

                        The customer care and people are very arrogant and no proper response from them.

                          I was unable to check-in the hotel as the same booking was removed by oyo from oyo app. I called the hotel fellow, was also denied to check-in as they don't have the details of booking. It was my worst experience which i ever faced in my life. Oyo facilities were good initially but it getting worst day by day.

                          Please provide the refund amount of inr 1466 which i paid for the stay.

                            I did a booking in oyo for mangalore and i was denied service later called up oyo rooms they told they will connect call to senior to shift my booking i was denied service there too later i contacted again the customer service agent told she will connect the call to senior and she connected my call to one customer like me.
                            I was so frustrated i cancelled the booking then followed up for refund till date i haven't got it and customer service is so poor they dont pick up call noe ping really frustrating and they gave me a wrong reference number that refund is initiated

                              I made a booking with oyo in natraj inn lucknow (Booking id: sdrz5340) for three nights (11th -14th july) and cancelled it on 8th july as it was promised to get full refund untill 10th july.
                              I was told that refund amount of inr 2797 has been initiated and the same will be credited back into the account used at the time of booking within 7-14 working days.
                              It has been more than a month now and still i did not get my refund.
                              I called oyo many times but didn't get any satisfactory answer from them when i insist to know the exact time for my refund to be credited into my account my call has been put on hold and after a long waiting it has been disconnected.
                              Only i can understand and tell that there's no one at oyo who is ready to help.

                              I got a call from oyo customer service representative and also received an email stating the details on refund amount and I was provided a transaction no to check with the bank. I checked with the Bank and came to know that the amount is being credited to my account. Email id: [email protected] Phone no: 0124-3379200

                                Hello. Today i made a family suite reservation from booking.com and got the confirmation number#[protected] and email. 2pm we 4 guest reached hotel and ask for check in and the lady there made us wait for 20 to 30 min at counter and at last we got to know that the family suite we booked is not even available and they gave us 2 stranded queen rooms and told us that in 30 mins they will gave us family suite. After 30 mins when reach reception and ask from that lady that did u guys try to make availability for me. And the answer i got was "we already assign u that 2 room whats wrong now. Family suite is not available at this moment so u have to stay in that 2 stranded queen rooms beside that we cant do anything. After when i ask why cant i cant the room i booked and i payed for. They made a call to there manager as they said mr. Azim. And gave me the phone and ask me talk to him. I hold the phone and say hi and first mr. Azim told me that we dont have family suite its booked already and you can stay in that 2 stranded queen rooms. And they way mr. Azim was talking made me felt like am i the one who did mistake or did wrong booking and they are doing me a favour and all. Being quiet and listening they way mr. Azim was talking to me made me lose my temper for a while and i talk back and answer to mr. Azim" 1 second mr. Azim they way u are talking it sounds like its my fault and u are scolding me. Is it my problem room was not fix or what so ever and mr. Azim reply no sir its not but i[censored] want family suite its without a/c we can give u that and u can stay there. My reply was"will u live in a room without a/c"? And they way mr. Azim u are talking to me so rude being a manager and dealing guest and customer's how a manager can talk like that. If a waiter or helper or agent ya maybe i can understand but how a manager can talk wth a guest like that. At the end my answer was to mr. Azim was " they way u said and tell the things no one can accept and specially your voice tune so rude. I tell to mr. Azim that sometimes you just have to be polite and even if change room or what ask politely and talk sweet. Only after these words mr. Azim realises the way he was talking to me. And i felt so upset and i just gave back the phone to that ladies at reception and started to move towards my room without saying a single word to any of them and just went back room

                                  As already informed by the call immeidately that we have not done any early checknin the oyo room persons fruadently entered as early check for booking id miqv1792, which is their mistake and we have requested the customer care person to cancel and refund but he did not listen to our request. You yourself has entered as early check in and we have not done any check in and not used any service of that hotel.
                                  We have filled a complaint in the consumer forum of the fraud act by oyo.

                                    Hello,

                                    Booking id: htl8uylt99

                                    My booking was prepaid. I paid whole amount 733 (378 deducted from acc rest from wallet) while booking.

                                    At the time if checkin, reception person denied my check in and said he'd only accept bookings with cash payments and also do not accept booking with charges lesser than 800.

                                    Now, its not my problem if oyo application shows lesser rate sometimes.

                                    On that night there was very heavy rain in indore and i had lots of luggage with me.

                                    There was absolutely no support given by hotel nor from oyo.

                                    Then i booked another hotel on spot which was nearest, booking id: lfts9804, and spent my night.

                                    I want my money back and some compensation for my whole struggle and troubles. It's all oyo fault because they don't communicate with hotels and set proper strict policies.

                                      When i try to book a hotel room using a voucher code :yofsa5ygaeynwm. Provided by oyo i got a message that it is not valid. I had reported this issue through oyo facebook page yesterday morning and untill now i didnt get any response. So iam submitting this complaint to provide me a valid coupoun code. Hope that i will get a justice from this consumer complaints forum
