I have bought 2 term plans of pnb met life from policy bazaar but due to bad service of the company i cancelled the plans and i requested them to refund my amount 1627 and 1628 respectively. But after a month i haven't got my refund till yet. When i call their customers service they have careless behaviour. I don't know why i bought it from them. Pathetic service and planning to go complaint against them further. I think ban these sites. Pathetic.

    Insurance of my bother's scooter (Yamaha raw-z scooter) was expired on 18/09/2017 o[censored]nited india insurance company limited.

    So, i have purchased two wheeler insurance alongwith personal accident insurance from policy bazaar for my bother's scooter (Yamaha raw-z scooter) on 22/09/2017 with total amount of rs. 1558/- out of which rs. 1109/- charged for two wheeler insurance from united india insurance and rs. 449/- charged for personal accident insurance from religare health insurance.

    But i have got only personal accident insurance on 25/09/2017, then talk with the customer support executive of policy bazaar about two wheeler policy, then they said that, they don't have any record regarding payment for two wheeler policy, however i made payment in a single transaction from my bank account, then i told customer support executive of policy bazaar about my payment, then customer support executive accepted that they have received my payment for two wheeler policy and then customer support executive of policy bazaar told me that, to wait for 24 hours and policy will be issued and the same will be sent to my mail id.

    After that, i am waiting for policy about 3 (Three) days and again called to policy bazaar about my query that, policy still not received at my mail id. And also told the customer support executive that my existing policy was expired and it will very risky to drive a motor vehicle without policy.

    Than i decided to purchase policy offline (By visiting insurance company office), and also to cancel the policy which i had purchased from policy bazaar. And i have sent mail for cancellation to policy bazar on 26/09/2017.

    Then policy bazaar ask me to sent alternate policy of the vehicle and sent the offline purchased policy (Alternate policy) to policy bazaar, but policy bazaar taking so much time to cancelled the policy which purchased from them, i have talked with many (About 15-20 different) customer support executives and they always saying that, kindly allow them time period of 7 days for the cancellation.

    After passing few days i have received a mail asking that, to share cancelled checked of insured person i. E. My brother, and send them cancelled cheque of my brother.

    But policy bazaar, haven't refunded my cancelled payment, then i frequently talked with many customer support executives for the issue and always they asking that, kindly allow them few more time.

    As now it was 4 month approx. Passed while i am continuously talking with customer support executive but till now my refund was not initiated.

    As a common citizen i have noting to do if the company i. E. Policy bazaar except calling/mailing them regularly about my issue.

    Now it seem like they intentionally not refunding my money (As per the norms of policy bazaar, they have to refund cancelled amount within 15-20 days), so it is prayed that kindly refund my money take some action against policy bazaar for such ignorance / improper working method.

    I am just hoping that, my this complain will give me justice about my issue.

    Same thing has also happened to me. They said refund has been made on 28 may 2019 and gave rrn number but it has not refunded in bank account till 8th may 2019.

      I have booked a policy on 12th december 2017 by paying premium of rs.3973/-. I have not received the soft copy or hard copy of policy. My earlier policy has already expired on 17th december 2017 and there is no response from the executives. Vehicle running on road without insurance.

They said they do not entertain me because i buy policy via online can you please tell me if you don't entertain online clients why are you providing those type of portal services.         On 4 dec 2017 i called policy bazaar customer care number had words with customer care executive mr mohit emp id cw06451 he said please send a mail to [protected]@policybazaar.com regarding this. But i not even received any reply from any of one once again i called to policy bazaar they said wait we will reply to you... But today its 12 dec 2017.
        Policy bazaar give me wrong commitment please take a strike action against them. I buy a policy for my care for convince not for harassment.

          Hello!

          I booked star health insurance policy r/161130/01/2018/012638 on 11th nov 17 through policy bazar. I paid by creditcard to policy bazar. Next week i got a message from policy bazar that star heath is not issuing insurance to me due to health condition. They said my amount will be refund in same account from which i paid. But after so my call and complaint in policy bazar, my amount not refunded yet.in every call they said it will take 4-5 working days.

          Now after almost a month there is no hope. They are not updating any reason for which amount not receiving.

          So i request you please help me!

            I am rajashekar i purchased a two wheelar insurance for hero glamour bike throw policy bazar for united india insurance on nov 29th 2017 still now policy not issued but how policy will start on dec 2nd it's mentioned on my booking receipt. I have n'the received any soft or hard copy. I called several times and i request compliant many people not responded. Please sanction as soon as possibles other wise i will file a petition in court. If not possible please give refund my money and also please find attachment.

              My husband is traveling we had to renew our car insurance I did not check with my husband and went ahead and bought a car policy from policy bazaar website and have made a payment of 16582. But later got to know from my husband that he had too bought one more policy.

              Post that I called policy bazaar customer care and I was informed that I should write to their id which is [protected]@policybazaar.com and have shared the provided them with the details of the other policy which was purchased by my husband, I have been writing to them but have since 5th of Dec and until now I have not got any confirmation or revert.

                Have gotten a policy from you guys, app id 40285961

                I got a idv of 220, 500.
                My car was stolen at[protected], and i reported the same and submitted all the documents by oct10 (They asked lots of vague documents).

                Not after chasing and calling them for months, they told me i can be paid 165, 000 inr instead of 220, 500 because i have chosen a higher idv.
                I told them idv was provided by policy bazaar and royal sundaram, but they say to increase the premium broker may sell high idv policy but it is not right at all and royal sundaram bears no responsibility for it.

                I further told them only they issued the policy.
                So they are now saying they will offer a replacement vehicle only and not any amount as it is sold by a broker and amount was not authenticate.
                I gave 10056inr of premium instead of some 6000inr only to have a higher idv so as to secure myself incase of mishappening like this.

                I have already filed a case in irda against insurer but they claim it is a mistake on policybazaar side not from their side.

                I have emailed you guys so many times, you guys come with service center list and looking into the matter email, its been 20 days since you have not responded. I have called customer care they ask me to share my concern on some email id. Your id guys reply they are looking into the issue anad will get back to me and asks me to share my concern on toll free number after sharing all the concern on email.

                and yes sometimes there are people too with single digit IQ.
                they call you hundred times to sell but not to provide service.
                never received any call in this last month despite giving them my number on calls and mails.
                and emailing them continuously for days

                  I took a term plan from policy bazaar on 5/11/2017 and immediately after payment i realized that initial of my name was wrong.
                  So i raised a requet for cancellation of policy on same day.
                  Its been almost a month but i did not got my refund.
                  Since then i am following with their customer service but in vain.
                  It is so frustrating

                        1)). I paid rs. 17111.00 on 28.09.2017 to policy bazar for purchasing an insurance for my raulalt duster car, registration no. Ga08m 3605.
                        2). During the finalization of premium neither policy bazar officers nor their website had clarified that the video inspection is the only way of inspection. 3) i downloaded their apps, took video and tried to upload video following their instruction on 17.10.2017, using samsung galaxy a5. But failed. I informed them on 20.10.2017 and they accepted some issue in their software.
                        4) they intimated me on 24.10.2017 that they are organizing for some inspector to inspect the car and i reminded them for the same on 26-27.10.2017.
                        5) received mail saying the amount will be refunded without giving any justification/clarification on 2nd, 10th, 11th, 18th and 22nd november 2017 and every time they have extended the dates.

                          On 17th nov.2017, hr mohini called me for the interview for the designation of mis-executive. It took me 3 hours to reach their office in gurugram sec-44 from my house in delhi.

                          Hr mohini kept me waiting for the whole day just sent me from one building to another, sent me to mr sanjay singh chauhan, there i wait for 45 min for him. Sitting idle and when he came, told me that the vacancy has been filled and didn't take my interview.

                          Hr mohini, then told me sorry harsh we don't have a vacancy. Means after wasting my complete day she realised that she doesn't have the opening.

                          Quite unprofessional hr, policybazaar lacking professional ethics.

                          I was not the only candidate she has fooled; there were so many other candidates whose complete day was ruined just sitting idle and returned worried to their home without giving the interview.

                            Hello sir! I booked kotak health insurance policy on 19th september 17 through policy bazar. I paid by netbanking to policy bazar. Next week i got a message from policy bazar that kotak is not issuing insurance to me due to my health condition. They said my amount will be refund in same account from which i paid. But after so my call and complaint in policy bazar, my amount not refunded yet.in every call they said it will take 4-5 working days.

                            Now after two month there is no hope. They are not updating any reason for which amount not receiving.

                            I contacted with kotak health insurance. they said plz reach to Policy bazar .its their responsibility.
                            I cancelled my Car Insurance policy the next day after getting it
                            The reason is I got a msg saying I might have to pay more as NCB was entered as 20%
                            The same issue happened 2 years back and my policy tenure was reduced by a few days
                            I did not want to go thru the same problem and so cancelled and went ahead with a service provider
                            By then my old policy had not expired
                            I was told by the Policy bazaar Customer support person that I will get full refund
                            ON Sep 7th 2020, I got a SMS saying my refund will be processed in 15 days.
                            Today is NOv 10th. Still I have not got it
                            M y Req no is PB81106846
                            Would like to get my refund of Rs 5265 ASAP

                              Its not just policy bazaar, but more in general in most of the sites, especially the ones related to insurance.
                              The customer should have the right to go an review the policy and decide.
                              If he wants then he should have an option to call the policy teams for a service and clearly not before that. I[censored] open any website, first they will ask you to resgister and ask you to provide details, without which they will not allow you to check and compare the policies before hand. It should be the right of the customer whether he wants help from the people or he wants to compare himself.
                              People will call you and pesture you. If someone says he will check and find out, it means he is not interested and people should not give follow up calls,
                              Really very irritating.
                              Wish we had a government policy stating that no matter what ever the website is there for providing information, it should allow customers to view their desired information and should only respond when customer asks for it. The initial form to fill information of the customer should be deactivated with immideate effect on all websites.

                                Hi,

                                It seems like we have been cheated by policy bazar. We were looking for investment mutual fund plan/ your agent contact to us and offered investment plan and said it is insurance cum investment plan and he also share other details as well. He also committed that policy can be broken at any time without any locking period as it is investment plan. We agreed and taken the two policy.

                                Today i contacted to company and asked to break policy they said its insurance plan and locking period is 5 yrs and if surrender before 5 year no refund will be given.

                                It look like loss of 20k for me. Luckily today i discussed both companies for which your agent has given us the policy and they shared the actual plan otherwise i would have lost more money.

                                It's good as i have all document which is enough to proof that fraud has been done so i can file police complaint and reach out to consumer court.

                                Policy team: pls let out on this to resolve the issue or i need to take necessary steps.

                                  I had purchased car insurance policy from policy bazar policy no: 211200/96437 from 02nd nov 17. Cv video uploaded next day but policy recieved before cv updation, seating capacity also wrongly mentioned in policy. My policy is not vaid asked policy bazar executives by call me back. After that i had put mail to policy bazar services 5 times in last 6-7 days.

                                  I am trying to correct/cancel the policy but no one can support me what can i do.
                                  Policy Bazaar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Please refer the application ID[protected], of policybazaar.com due to lot of documentation I was unable to handle this type of policy so I request to cancel the same on 4th October 2017 but till now no response from policybazaar.com and my money refund is still waited, request you to please arrange the refund of my money.
