Dear sir,
This is with regard to complaint number : [protected] for our television which was not working. Our television video is not working but audio is coming normally. When raised a complaint, samsung engineer (His name may be deepak) came to our residence and checked the television and told that panels boards have gone off and cost of replacement is around rs. 18, 000 (Including gst). We have given our consent for the replacement and replacement orders have been placed with samsung. Later in the evening suddenly our televsion started working when we checked again. When we checked with samsung executive on this he told that it is coming due to some reverse voltage and bonding comes and goes and once again repeatedly scolding us not to switch on else mother board will go off. With this unprofessional attitude of service engineer, we decided to cancel off the order and planned for second opinion from our friend's third party service engineer.
Later, our friend suggested that to go for second opinion as these days we can't trust company executives are cheating and misleading people to get incentives and business. When we checked with third party repair service, the executive clearly told that for our television, only backlights have gone, rest all are fine. To our utter surprise after changing backlights (Total expenses for changing backlights and service is rs. 5, 000), televsion started working normally. Would like to bring this to your notice that how this samsung executive, instead of honestly doing the service, they are just cheating people to get business.
Deeply, disturbed that such a big brand like samsung (I have 2 samsung mobiles, refrigerator, television, laptop) giving cheating customer service to people to get business and rethinking that, "is it really worth to call samsung customer care executives in future" (Totally lost faith and definitely hesitate in calling samsung customer service in future). Thought of sharing this feedback as i felt it is my responsibility to bring this to your notice irrespective whether you take note of it or not.
