I bought Samsung Galaxy 3 on 2nd Dec, 2010. But it started giving problems just after 2 weeks of its purchase. The problem which I faced was that it was unable to produce any sound nor it was taking any input of sound. Its been 40 days since I deposited my handset in service centre and I have still not got any resolution. Following are the dates are communication which I had with Samsung Service Centre regarding my mobile:
15th Dec, 2010: Handset started giving problem of sound. In a way, it became deaf and dumb.
16th Dec, 2010: I submitted the handset (along with battery) in Faridabad Service Centre (Life Line Solutions, SCO – 101, Sector – 16, Faridabad). They asked for 1 week time to repair it.
23rd Dec, 2010: I called the service centre and asked for my mobile, but they said that motherboard of the handset need to be changed and they don’t have it in their stock. Hence they asked me to wait till 25th Dec, 2010.
27th Dec, 2010: I again called service centre and they told that it can not be repaired as the required part is not available yet. They said that I will get a cheque of the amount mentioned in the mobile bill.
28th Dec, 2010: I talked to Mr. Gaurav Kapoor (Haryana Service Head) at his mobile no. [protected]. He talked to the owner of Sector 16, Faridabad Service Centre and assured me that I will get the cheque in 15 days.
29th Dec, 2010: The owner of Service Centre called me and confirmed that I will get the cheque in 15 days from today.
12th Jan, 2011: I called the service centre and asked about the cheque, they told that it hasn’t arrived yet and will take 1 more week time. After my request, he said that he will try to get it till 15th Jan, 2011.
15th Jan, 2011: He said it could not get it today and will get it surely on 18th Jan, 2011.
18th Jan, 2011: I again called the Service Center but got the same reply that it is not ready yet. Same day I called Mr. Gaurav and asked for the solution. He talked to the owner of Service Center and told me that this case will be surely closed before this weekend (i.e. 22nd Jan, 2011).
22nd Jan, 2011: I visited the Service Center but still the same reply that cheque isn’t ready yet. I called Mr. Gaurav multiple times but he didn’t received the call. Later in the evening, he called me and told that on Monday, I will get the cheque or at max on Tuesday.
25th Jan, 2011: I called the Service Center and they told me that no cheque has arrived yet and none will come before 10th Feb, 2011. I called Mr. Gaurav and again he gave me a date. He said I will get it on 27th Jan, 2011.
After seeing the quality of Samsung products and delays in services, I have completely lost mys trust on Samsung Products and Services. I am sure I will not get the cheque even on 27th Jan, 2011. Please help me to get this problem solved. This has been like a mental harassment since more than a month and still I don’t see any resolution.
from the first week itself the mobile is automatically restarting.Then I contacted samsung service centre.They seviced my phone,but the problem still remains.Now my phone has no sound..No speakers are working..I dont know what to do..Shall they replace my pone...Please reply me
