Hi,

I have purchased Samsung Galaxy 3 i5801 on 14-11-10 from malad Vijay Sales. Its been more then 15 days that i have been trying to reach different service centres. i had been at sanatcruz service centre (West) also they informed it requires upgradation of software and hence they took it from me and asked me to wait for 15 min. After that they assured that the handset would be absolutely fine, but that didnt happen and ended up with the same old story where i cannot speak for more then 10-15 min, because the moment that happens there is no network signal. and it just goes on and i have to try hard and its just not possible to outcall or receive calls. also the battery life is not great.
Request urgent intervention.

Samsung Galaxy 3 i5801 — Software Updates

Samsung Galaxy 3 Coming From Android 2.1,But samsung Promise to Upgrade Version 2.2 ,but its not available ,Other Brands Android Phones are available android 2.2 update ,samsung is fool the customers .and not support to customers
totally agree with that.. I too have many problems with my GTI5801 including problem with battery life as well as GPS but they have very poor customer service...
Bro i was also facing the same problem in my samsung galaxy 3...
BUT I TRIED few steps and everything went ok
go to Setting option and then to Network option. There u will see few options such as wcdma only, wcdma and gsm, etc. What u hav to do is just select the option GSM only and exit from there. Soon u will realise that ur problem is solved. I did same and and everything became fine.

Same case, i miss lot of features in 2.2 which are wi-fi router and so-on.
Also, the look is totally different from the one that is displayed in the site http://www.in.samsungmobile.com/index.jsp
yes. i too have the same handset and miss a lot of features in 2.2.
instead of providing support to existing customers, they concentrate only on delivering new handsets.
hi malik..thnx for ur suggestion..my phone suddenly started behaving a bit weird by not accepting and making calls though the signal icon was showing full...i tried putting the sim into my old phone, and it worked..since its a new phone i just purchased a week ago, i panicked for almost four to five hours, and didn't know wat to do...i thought let me browse through the net, and i found ur suggestion..and to my surprise the phone looks to be fine now..thnx for ur suggestion...i hope it doesn't gimme a problem again...thnx again...

    i Purchase a proudct Juicer Mixer Grinder from a person, he says that he is a truck driver of samsung. For their expenses they sell some products like that. he showed me samsung juicer mixer grinder cost around Rs.4200.

    the total package is samsung box. and samsung warranty card, samsung mixy , no one can't believe it is a fraud product, he said that we are giving at half of the price, finally he said that i will give u at a cost of Rs. 1500 .

    i bought that as a middle class person, it comes as cheap by price. after he left, i come to know there is no cleaning brush in the box as it is mentioned in booklet.

    when i gone to purchase that one, i come to know there is no such mixer grinders from Samsung.
    then i come to know, i got cheated.
    BE AWARE MY FRIENDS ,dont believe anyone , LIKE THIS FRAUDS ARE HAPPENING

    I've got the message that I won 900.000 pounds O.o for 71 anniversary (I've got the same problem as others - I think this is a scam). So can you tell me the real truth did I really won or they are lying to me?

    Samsung — fraud message

    Today i got a message by saying that i won £800,000 pounds from nokia promo. I checked on net about this. Luckily came to know that it was a scam. Somebody should action angainst this.
    we also had the same experience today. But we didnt buy the juicer as the logo of the Samsung is not correct. and the mixer jar is very flimsy, whereas Samsung products will be sturdy. Thank God we escaped from cheaters like this.
    just now these guys came home in Tirupati. he explained about the product and told the same story that they are truck drivers and wanted to sell in half price for their expenses on the way. i could make out the plastic of the mixer it was so cheap quality and surely not a product from a big brand like SAMSUNG. some how my intuition was right, it was cheating. good that we didnt buy the product
    thank you so much friends, today the same persons came to my house to sell the same product and i searched in the internet and i saw your message and i got aware that these fellows are cheaters .

    I want to send him so I asked the product for rs 500 and he took the product and went away .

    I had incident on today, he is sold the same product in my home, I did a mistake, later on i searched the product in net, i got a message on this, He said " he will come again with another kind product like DVD.TV. Laptop..." Can you suggest me if he come again

    today i found him in moggapair east near ambedkar ground chennai with the same truck driver selling samsung mixer he was trying to sell in a half price
    I also experienced same incident... Be aware of them...

    We also had the same experience today[protected] by 1.00pm, 2 persons came near my house and dey told we came from punjab, we are a truck drivers, we bought this samsung mixer grinder from der and we have 1 piece left with us so we are givng it for half price, my husband told me dat dis is not a samsung product after seeing samsung logo in that catalouge and i thought to check once in net abt the product and price but i dint get any such products and i got this blog...Thank u for ur comments regarding dis fraud, ur comments help me from geting cheated ...

    Today morning I was in a hurry to go office, mean time, 2 truck drivers came and asking for do you know hindi, then started showing their last piece of mixi grinder and in my home seeing that product attracted and tempted to buy. We too got cheated for Rs.1500/-. After searching in net I m depressed.
    Oh. I have been cheated... I have purchased for INR. 1000 Samsung JMG. I though i saved[protected]= 3200.
    Juicer, Mixer, Grinder, ... When we try to use mixer, it started burning.. some smoke is coming out of it.
    Please don't try to purchase such fraud products.

    This post saved me too. This happened today 23rd June 2014 in the afternoon. They met my father outside our house and told him that they are dealers of Samsung and they had received an extra load of samsung Juicer mixer grinder and were selling the extras off at a huge discount at RS 1500 Instead of the actual Rs 4290 so my father asked him to come home and show the product. The moment I laid eyes on the pink samsung logo I knew something was wrong. It didnt have any model number and the product catalogue looked so cheap and the quality of the outer body of the grinder looked so cheap. So i decided to check online and came across this site. Thanx for the post.

    not working properly

    i have samsung washing machine model no. 80E5L. when i was used it was started and before complete cycle water drain and stop.
    i too was cheated yesterday. paid him INR 1000 n thought ill be saving 3200.same story!!!my daughter kept on telling me not go for such things and dont motivate them.
    Anyone can tell me weather to use it or not?

    I also experienced this yesterday I bought same samsung mixer grinder and surya Crystal 3 burner stove...they were fraud later we checked their quality was so bad and in gas stove they paste the glass that was also not real...so plz don't buy such product...next time I will not leave them

    Samsung donot make Mixer or Juicer. So product is fake . Same story happened with me in Indore MP . Truck drivers 4200 rs product in 1000 rs they told. But I check on Samsung website and told them that I will call Police if they come again.

      I had bought a samsung grill model microwave around 3 months back. The machine suddenly started to malfunction. When i contacted the samsung call center , the service person came and told that the microwave board has gone wrong and that it needs to be replaced. The time he told was 1 week just to get the replacement board. It is very annoying that a new microwave has malfunctioned and it takes samsung a weeks time to get the board replaced.

        I has submitted my Samsung CDMA M569 Mobile to SAMSUNG Service Center - Agarim Technologies (A-29, Opp Ram Krishna Math, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow) on 22nd December and they had given me a budget of rs. 750/- for reparing and committed to give it back by next day, and till date I havent received the set, and I have paid the bill of rs. 750/- also by cash, and now they are not picking phone and no information i am getting. And neither they gave me a standby mobile, so that my day to day and official should not get affected, but I am facing a lot of issues, but cannt do anything. Who is responsible for this..............????????????????

        Such a pathetic after sales service, and I would like to put a complaint against them.

          Hi, I purchased Samsung Mobile few Months back.. Its a touch Screen and I have problem with it. It took one day to find out Samsung service center. And In service center there is no proper response from any of their staff. They are asking for Bill to repair my mobile where as I have warranty card which is not being accepted by them.. Why was warranty card provided when it is not accepted by Samsung ???

            I gave my mobile at samsung mobile service centre in basheer bagh with a complaint that not getting voice incoming and out going and set is getting heated...they took my mobile phone for repair , i got my mobile after four days on 27/dec/2010 without any result and i again have to give them for checking the same problem...is this the good service i mean

              sir,
              I bought a samsung cdma set[protected] samsung muzik SCH-S379 compatible to tata indicom on 28.11.2009,it was a good hand set but suddenly on 22.11.2010 my set became dead.I just ran to our nearest servicing center,in hurry i forgot to take my mobile bill, They told me that it will take 500Rs(approx).on the next day i went there with my bill.
              which shows that it was within warrenty period, but they refused to accept that I requested them many times. but their behaviour became very rough. i came back home after they told me that as i have signed the bill which shows it will take approximately 500 Rs. Afterwards one month crossed and there was no response from them when i called them they told me it will take 2000 Rs and also stated that i must have forgotton as they have informemed me via telephone. i was merely surprised to see that they havent wrote my phone number on the bill. When i crosschecked my no to them they were silent.
              I was shocked at their behaviour, and how fluent they lied to me. I just want to know why they are charging me so much money while my product was within warrenty period.

                SAMSUNG: Kerala: Trivandrum:- Very Poor Service!

                I bought a brand new 541L Samsung frost free refrigerator: RT72KBTS1/XTL on 15 August 2010, under invoice number 8-600880 priced at Rs.46000/-. This product entails a water dispenser; without having filled water in the dispenser, from the time of installation, I have been finding continuous water droplets getting formed in the water collection tray of this water dispenser.

                Whenever calls have been made to your Call Centre in Chennai, it has been virtually impossible to connect through to any of the Call Centre Customer Services staff as the lines are continuously engaged.

                After the installation of this refrigerator in my house premises, about three times a technician has come in to attend to my complaint, but it has been to no avail as none of them knew how this issue could be sorted out, at which times each of them pointed out on the subject of the fridge temperature setting, but we have set that at the minimum of -14C. If this was an issue with this product, that there would always be leaking at the water dispenser, then why was it not informed by the Samsung dealer in Trivandrum (Q.R.S: Pattom).

                I am totally disappointed with the product brand and the miserable kind of service given as Samsung has a popular name in the market.

                Please sort out this issue with immediate effect, If this issue is not settled quickly, I will never buy or recommend SAMSUNG product.

                Samsung — Samsung - Leaking Complaints in market

                I had called Samsung customer care on 6th July and lodged a complaint vide complaint number [protected], for a fridge, i was told that someone will call us and visit, however we do get a visit( no calls), this guy tells us he has been sent by samsung, The fridge needs urgent replacement of spare parts, he charged us Rs.3500 gives us a receipt for the same in name (S.R.Electronics). And the firidge stopped functioning within 24 Hrs of the replacement of parts. Ever since we have been trying to call the numbers on the receipt to no use.

                On checking with Samsung customer care we were told that there so no dealer for them under the name of S.R.Electronics.

                Now, the point is when we had only called samsung customer care and not any dealer how did my complaint with the phone numbers/ address/ nature of complaintnt gets out in market.

                Does Samsung Electronics Care to check or answer ?????

                samsung/frost free refrigerator — service delay

                samsung does'nt have online complaint facility,since 3 days i called them no one has attended,only last month they had repaired my fridge & charged me 2000/- again it has stopped working

                  Halo My samsung microwave oven developed a problem recently. I called up their customercare and promptly a service engineer turned up. After checking the unit he said that the necessary spare pcb is not available now and hence the unit cannot be repaired. As per him IT IS A COMPANY POLICY TO SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCT FOR ONLY 5 YEARS !!!!!! In our country where there is a good demand for even second hand items and many purchases are done mostly once in a lifetime the above policy of Samsung is ridiculous. They have to support their products at least for 20 years by keeping important spares or see that when models are chaned, compatabiliy of vital parts are ensured physically and functionally.

                  There is absolutely no service from IFB people, they dont care at all after repeated calls made in the last one month and above - they have still not taken care fo my problem

                  I have a refrigerator by samsung which has not been working for a 20 days a spare part needs to be changed but there is no response inspire of calling again and again. They are not giving the no. For any responsible person to talk either.

                    I had purchased Samsung CDMA Mobile phone on 8.11.2010 and on 11.11.2010 submitted back to dealer with a defect noted in Bluetooth Data transfer. on 30.11.2010 finally the customer service of samsung assured me of the defect & their acceptability for the same and said that they will refund me the amount by 10.12.2010. But till date no call from their side and on my calling they are not replying to my query. Request you to please suggest me the best possible method to remove this difficulty.

                    Samsung Mobile — defective phone and poor service

                    i bought a samsung CDMA SCH-F309 from A.K communications, shop no 2 & 3 , Pocket A-2 , Plot No. 35, Sector -3 , Rohini, new delhi-85 on 6/09/09 against Bill no : AK-HTS2354 dt 6/09/09. Using the phone for a week was alright but after that the phone has shown all sorts of problem e.g if we switch it off, it never switches on again, hanging. After visiting to the dealer, the matters even became worse, he started abusing us and refused to attend us or help us in any sort. We will shortly be visiting the SERVICE CENTRE but my main complaint is against the dealer, who behaved in a very rude and abusive manner rather than attending the complaint.

                    We sincierly request you and the company to take serious action against the dealer.
                    defective phone and poor service
                    I bought a samsung GT-3500MSAINS YEAR OF MFG JUNE 2009 from Shreeji Fones 4, Ram niwas M.G road near reliance web world Naupada Thane(W) 400602 on 27/08/09 Tax Invoice no : 26074 Using the phone for 40 Days, it never switches on again, hanging. After visiting to the Sansung Authorised Service center they ask me to come after 10 to 12 days as the cell phone is dead and they do not have spare parts and it will take 10 to 12 days for that after visiting the service center on 20th of october a surprise was awaiting for me it was that your handset canot be repaired nor we can give you the replacement what to be done is that we will give you REFUND that will also take 20 to 25 days the date which My Refund case no is BDC 121009 . There afer when i visited service center to know the status of the payment i was again surprise to know that it was still waiting for the approval THE THANE SAMSUND SERVICE CENTER which is managed by Micro services is the worst mangement and very well UNORGANISED center ever seen till today. I Request you to take this matter very strickliy I fell sorry for my self that why i have gone for SANGUNG handset . hoping that you will solve this matter at the earliest thats the reason iam sending you this mail

                    Samsung — defective mobile phone

                    i bought a samsung galaxy duos on 12/08/2013 for rs 9700 and the phone turned out to be defected. there is a major fault in the phone. it does not have a voice clarity at all. there is a major problem in the hearing . i think the company should either replace my phone or give my money back.

                      I buy samsung mobile gt-s3500i but it is not connecting with my laptop windows 7 home premium. When I vivited your service centre they said there is no update. Today i call to service centre they said that i can download the update software onlinr. I was trying but when i am searching my product it is not showing my gt-s3500i mobile. What can I do now, can u please send me the update on email. Presently I am at africa and using this mobile here. Please do the needful and if possible send me the update.                         My son has purchased Samsung Ultra Slim TV Model No. CS29A330XL from Sony Mony Electronics, Opera House, Mumbai on 24/05/09. The day it was delivered it was sent back for replacement since the outer cabinet was defective and after lot of persuasion the set was replaced. Recently the set stopped functioning. Service complaint was made and the service engineer who visited declared that the picture tube of the set is defective and since it is beyond warranty approx. Rs. 9000 shall be the charges for repair. It is rather surprising that a Samsung TV picture tube works for only a year and half whereas the other TVs we have are giving service since last 16/17 years. How can the commitment of the company be over just in 1 year. Poor state of affair. Does it mean that an Internationally reputed company products are of such worst quality that they function limited to the warranty period. Through this I would like to call upon Samsung after sales senior Service personnel to respond on this issue and ensure free repair of the TV else matter shall be referred further. The other pity situation is that it is no contact information of the company is available so that one can take up the issue with them.

                          I purchased a samsung mobile phone on 14th novembor 2010.After using 6 days I faced a problem.I cannot read my sms and I also can not write sms.It just show sms loading and instaling.Then visited my nearest service center at Barrackpur.After checking my phone they update my phone software.Then after 2 days I faced same problem.Then I again visited the same service center then they said that they will send it to the head office.After 23days they call me and I recive my phone on 17th decembor 2010.After 6 days I still face the same problem.I am Sumit Kumar Nag.I never expect like this from Samsung company.And also want to inform that the employee who are working Barrackpur service center they are so rude and they use slang in beyond of the coustumer.I hear it clearly because on that time I just enter in to the room.Please take some serious action against them.And please inform me what I will do know.If any Samsung employee want to call me then please call me on [protected] this no.or my e-mail [protected]@gmail.com/sumit.[protected]@yahoo.com.Please take some action.

                              Hi ,
                              I have register my LCD TV complaint on 2nd December’ 10 with Sony Electronics (Plot# 35, Dwarakamai Nilayam, New Maruthi Nagar. Caitanyapuri HYD-60)
                              Complaint is regarding Samsung LCD TV with picture/ screen issue. Their technician visited my place and after 2 Hrs of inspection he told me that there is some issue in motherboard and will rectify it as our service center and estimation cost will be around Rs.2000/. He also assured me that he will repair it and do installation with 2 days.
                              Even after 4 days no one turn up, in last I have called them on their customer support number and next day they came up and forward me the bill of Rs 3500 (Bill# 6857) and assured me that it will under warranty for 6 months.
                              But after 2 Hrs same problem prompts up so I have called up to their service number on same day and register my complaint. After 10-15 calls, in last their technician come to see and again after 2-3 Hrs of inspection he told me that there is some issue in panel and I need to take it to my service center for repair and committed me that he will rectify the issue within 2 days.
                              After 20-25 calls and 10 days, they asking me Rs 14000 for repair, so I have asked them to refund my money back and return spare which they have taken for repair.

                              Their technician kept my LCD TV open in living room as he committed me that he will rectify and assemble it by next day.
                              Still now no one has turn up and I am still waiting for some response, whenever I am calling they were saying that technical person will surly come today.

                                I had Submitted my Samsung E2120i Mobile which was 3 month old having Start up Problem.
                                Sabsonic Submitted the Mobile and gave me a job Sheet saying It will took 1 month but now it is 3 month and phone is not repaired.
                                They are not taking any calls either there number says busy or only rings....
                                When I personally went there then they are Saying We have given your Mobile for Replacement It will take Some more time.
                                I don't Know what type of service center is this.

                                    I have had one month of struggle with the Samsung Service Centre at Coimbatore, R S puram, Azad Road. There have been 3 answers yet...
                                    1. Laptop keyboard panel will be replaced.
                                    2. Keyboard Panel is out of stock, so laptop itself will be replaced.
                                    3. Laptop replacement is not possible, so refund will be done.

                                    Beyond that they have the nerves to cut the call sometimes when I contact them.
                                    If the attitude continues then I will be forced to head to the Consumer Court against them for harassing the customer.

                                    Please take necessary action soon.

                                      I was purchased a mobile phone "Samsung galaxy3 (GT i5801)" on[protected], from the Mobile Store, Kandivaki west . After some day I found that Its GPS is not working properly, abnormal call disconnect problem, and very poor battery life. Then I send the phone to samsung service center situated at andheri west in the name of mobile cool service. After keeping my phone for 7 days they return me the phone with the same problems and with an added problem of poor wifi connectivity. Again i have submited the phone in their service center and they kept my phone for 13 more days. After this i Found that my problems were not resolved. After a lot of talk with so many persons of samsung, finally they were agree with two condition either replacement or refund. But the replacement will take minimum 75 days and refund will take minimum 90 days. Finally I agree with them on refund condition Because I don't have any other way. But 90 days time period is too much how could I manage it.

                                      samsung I5801 — Poor response

                                      i am purchased one of samsung mobile i.e. galaxy i5801- vendor name mobile store, 18-9-10, i am facing problem with pattern lock, i am handed over to hitech mobile service centre of samsung authorised mobile service centre, - mobile given on 9/10/10- stille there is no improvement on my request, very poor respoonse of service centre no body will give the correct picutre, and i asked the consumer care centre one person will give the one no souther region mr.sivakumar, [protected]- that idot will not pickup the call till i tried 1000 times.-
                                      Hi use right to information act and ask for the time limit of replacement or refund. I think it would work and also claim for compensation if you want.

                                      Samsung Galaxy 3 — galaxy 3 defect

                                      I purchased the galaxy 3 in the month of dec-10 and now i found out one problem with the divice.
                                      whenever i m listning to the songs and incoming text message comes then the song gets automatically stopped and it doesn't start again and i need to restart the cell for listning to the songs again. I came across this problem many a times.........and also the cell takes too long for opening any apps or just opening the contacts list or messages.....
                                      yes I am karthik from chennai i am also having the same problem. i have brught my mobile just 2 months back but its battery performance is very poor and net connection also not satisfactory.

                                        I own a refrigerator SR37BG2XTL This refreigerator stopped cooling on 14/12/2010 for which I complained to company's authorized service center "Computer Sales & Service" M. G. Road, Indore. Their technician came on 20/12/2010 and replaced the compressor stating that it is faulty. He charges us Rs. 5050/- for the same. The refrigerator did not start cooling even after replacement of the compressor for which we again complained to the service center on 21st & 22nd December, 2010. I was told that the technician would visit us on the very same day on both the days but no one turned up. I again complained on 23/12/10 on service center at indore and Samsung Call Center where I was told that I would be charged again for the service engineer visit as it is a new complaint now. The complaint no. alloted to me is [protected] Dt. 23/12/10.
                                        I request consumer forum to intervene in the matter and get me refrigerator working.
