Hi

I have taken a new tata sky cable connection on saturday 21st sep 2019.
The setup box was connected without any issues but as soon as the technician left the house the message appeared that the 'new software is being downloaded. There is no prgress in download and hence i have raised the same with customer care to get it resolved.

The issue is still not resolved and customer care is just rescheduling the technician visit.

I have tried to get in contact with tata sky cable operator of my area but he is also not responding to my calls.

Request you to please help me on this to get this issue resolved.

    This is abhishek. I tried to purchase facttechz ultimate brain booster - binaural beats application today using net banking. But i didn't get my order and amount was deducted from my account... Kindly look into this and refund my amount back to my bank account as soon as possible... This is my first app purchase from play store. I also request play store to fix this problem... And i request inb times of money to resolve this.

    Hi,
    I am unable to change my channel pack after the box change by technician. After contacting support multiple times they asked to check in "some" time but it never fixed. They are not even raising complaint for this and not even telling tentative time.

        Id [protected]. Paid for a annual mega pack for multi tv hd in last week of may 2019. Now suddenly i got a message on my tv that my recharge date is 24 feb 2020. It is shifted 3 months earlier. Why so? Every year some vas are added without my consent. I am a 72 year old man, highly diabetic and hypertensive.
        Kindly rectify your mistake.

          We started our tata sky connection after 2 months today ; but recharges have been done regularly. Now its showing us the message ‘this is the wrong card for this setup box’. We are facing huge problem and this isnt expected from a major dth company like tata sky.

              Sir,
              I purchased a tata sky dth on 19 sep 19 but it is charging more amount on the name of package.
              I requested customer care of tata sky on 22 sep 19 to remove some channels but it expressed its inability and informed me to either contact dealer or download app.
              As i am out of home town so i am not able to contact dealer and from the app i am not getting the required help.
              Due to this i am forced to get unnecessary channels and pay more amount.
              I requeste your kind honour to initiate necessary action to resolve my problems.

                We are facing trouble with tatasky dth since 5-6 months. Even on sunny days, the signals will go off & the display shows no signals due to rain. We have complained many times. Though the technician repairs it, the problem is repeating later on again.

                  I am having a problem in changing my channel selection on one of my secondary set top boxes.

                  I have 3 set top boxes:

                  Primary: with last 4 digits being xxxx
                  Secondary 1: with last 4 digits being yyyy
                  Secondary 2: with last 4 digits being zzzz

                  The problem:

                  The problem is with secondary 2

                  I have tried today (19-sep-2019) to modify the a-la-carte selection that i had made on 18-sep-2019 4 times but with no success. The first 3 tries were made around 0630 hours, 0730 hours and 0930 hours. Post these attempts i had called your help line[protected] who took a complaint (Ref aaaaaa) and committed a call back. I received a call from their rep (Tata sky help +[protected] who advised me to:

                  1. Try again
                  2. In case of another failure to send a screen shot of the failure notice.
                  3. To use the app on my smart phone. I ruled this option out for personal reasons.

                  I followed his instruction. This resulted in another failure

                  Accordingly i enclosed:
                  • a screenshot of the failure message (“internal server error”) – jpg and doc files
                  • a pdf file giving the screen that had appeared prior to the ‘error” screen showing the selection that i had made and the cost prior to my selection the “confirm” button.

                  I get a response to use the mobile app (Which i stated clearly i couldn't) and to send the screen shots of the website failure (Which i had). Thereafter - no action.
                  Cannot understand why tata sky has a web facility to change channel selection if it doesn't work properly and to keep recommending the app. Does tata sky stand to gain from the using the app which for a senior citizen like me is difficult to see.

                      I have taken tata sky connection. The technician who came to install the dish was rude and his behavour was total unacceptable. When asked for his id and name, he blandly refused and started using abusive language. He did not heed to our advice on the location of the hood and started questioning our wisdom. While leaving, he has threatened us with serious consequences if we complain about any fault or his behavior. At one stage, he has threatened to take away all the equipment and stop installation

                        I do a regular annual recharge on my 3 tata sky connection of which one was a primary set top box and 2 were secondary set top boxes this year it was done on 06 jan 2019. So my next renewal was due on 05 jan 2020. However today i got a message saying that my tata account is deactivated and i needed to do a recharge of 2300 rupees. On checking with tata sky i was told that they did a auto migrate on all my boxes to the highest package that was on my primary set top box. So where i was paying 800 on my primary set top box and 250 each on my secondary set top boxes. Now i was paying 800 odd on each set tax box without my consent.
                        My question is when i am paying 250 per multi tv set top box and there is a rule that i have to migrate. Who gave the right to tata sky to auto migrate me to a package that is really high in cost. My secondary set top box is used by my care takers and they don’t even watch the english and hd channels.
                        You’ll clearly don’t have the right to migrate without my consent, you should have deactivated my account that very minute atleast my secondary set top boxes and then migrated with my consent.
                        So you need to continue my package as agreed till jan 2020

                          My tata sky connection is facing problem of not receiving signal since july 2019, we had placed complain then and a technician came and fixed it, later i left for abroad and since mid july again the problem started. My parents are not so comfortable calling call center and so when i returned in september i placed a complain on 16/9/2019 and technician came to visit on 17/9/2019, after an hour of waiting he was not able to solve the problem and as we had to leave so he said please give otp and i will close complain for today and come tomorrow, my wife also stays abroad and was not familiar with the otp system and she believed the technician and gave the same to him. Next day on 18/9/2019, technician did not visit the entire day, so i called the call centre in the evening and i informed them of the same and they took another complaint. Technician comes on 19/9/2019 again after an hour, says he will need another person to sort the problem and so he will get the person in 1 hour, after 1 hour he comes and says that the other person is not free and will come at 6 pm, when they did not turn up at 6pm then i called the call center and they just apologized and they said they will escalate the matter. I called the technician and they said that they will come next day on 20/9/2019. Today when they have come they are saying that your regular lnb needs to be changed to super lnb, when i enquired that i had previously hd connection then how come super lnb was not placed then, to which he replied, that speak to call center. I have observed on the internet that hd connection is given with super lnb but it was obviously not in my case. The technician today charged me rs 800 for super lnb and rs 150 for four way connection (I previously had two connection of tata sky-1 hd and 1 normal satellite receiver, but i have cancelled the hd connection), i do not even know wether it was required. He told me that with the regular lnb i was getting 40% signal strength and with super lnb i am getting 80% signal strength. When i told him to leave the old lnb with us as we are paying for the new one, they refused and said that they need to submit it to the center. I told them that i will complain about it then they left the same with me.
                          Overall i am very unhappy with the whole experience. I have come to know that this loss of signal is also due to change of satellite from insat to gsat and so the dish needs to be realigned, i feel that the realignment service should be on a proactive basis and not only when customer complaint. For example in the automobile industry, if the car has a defect then they recall the vehicle on there own and do not wait for the customer to complaint. When tata sky knew that customers will face this problem of realignment then why were they not proactive about it.
                          I require tata sky to refund me my rs950 charged by the technician and give me 2 months extended subscription for the time lost.

                            This is really frustrating to get new connection activated on tata sky.I am really struggling to get it activated. No support from Tata sky customer care.I called them almost 20-25 times but they really don't care about it. Even spoke to your nodal officer but they also not worried about it.Did not even receive a single call backfrom them.

                            This is really worst service i ever seen in my life. took 3 days so far just to activate the account and still not identified why its not getting activated.

                            (In frustration)When i said i want refund if you are not able to resolve the issue then nodal officer replies " Yes you can cancel your connection we will give you refund in next 3 days". This is how they treat customer.

                            Now i am completely mentally harassed .
                            Please help me to get it resolve soon.

                              On night of 14th Sept I raised a request to set my set-up box right as it did not show up green light, and TV screen showed 'no signal'. I was promised that a technician will come to set right the problem.
                              Since then I followed up at least twenty times with various persons on their helpline #[protected] and to many other persons to whom my request was escalated.
                              They all went on giving false promises.
                              In first two days some calls came to me from their Bangalore and Hyderabad office (as I guess from the STD code) telling that the technician will call me up. But no technician turned up or called me yet. Three days before, someone even gave me the name one technician, but he never contacted me.
                              I am feeling frustrated. I get a feeling that Tatasky does not care for their customers.

                              Please help.

                                I paid 14483 for 1 year on January 1st for yearly plan for 3 TV's
                                Now they have increased the pricing to 27654 i.e 2305 and even taking advance for the year according to 1206 RS per month they started charging me 2305 per month and the plan which should have end in January they ended that on September itself

                                They increased the prices without our consent or without informing us at all about that

                                When called they told us TRAI revised the guidelines but little they know that they have taken advance from us and in the new guidelines given by TRAI, they have to fulfil the period for which they have taken advance

                                Hi, these changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Tariff Order" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV).

                                  I have raised 4 complaints on 4th Sept, 11th sept, 16th Sept and 18th Sept and still not attended.
                                  I have been contacting customer service as one of my TV connections is not workings, during the first complain (4 sept) the technician comes and fixes the TV and the next it stops working.
                                  Then i raise and complain on 11th Sept - No body comes or attends the issue and when i contact customer service they say your complaint has been cancelled as the you have not agreed to pay charges.
                                  then i tell them no this has not happened, please send the technician. still nobody attends the issue.
                                  I raise a complain again on 16th Sept, they say same "your complaint has been cancelled as the you have not agreed to pay charges".
                                  Now again i have raised a complaint on 18 Sept lets see what happens.

                                    Tata sky has deducted the balance of 150 rs without my knowledge or permission & not wish to refund now. It is done with help of third party called 'binge'. They installed binge kit forcefully saying it as it is free for 30 days... Will be continued if i am interested further.
                                    But though i informed i dont want this even for free of cost, then did not take back the binge unit & started charging without informing me.

                                    Cheating the customer very openly, without any fear... And not refunding also.

                                    I have received the credits... but definitely not happy.
                                    The reason is : I have called more than 10 times & 4 times sent e-mail to the customer care team.. but i got the reply "Sorry" but we cannot refund!!!

                                    Thank god, after the filed the complained here, the team has credited the amount. What is the logic???? Cheating the people no respect to the valued customer.

                                        I didn't asked for bing still the technician guy came into the house without permission and compelling to take Tata sky bing and daily receiving call asking for OTP to cancel bing but we didn't have bing how can we say OTP regarding this posted in twitter also but still Tata sky people won't be shamed very pathetic service ever.
