I got Useless reply from vodafone. Note: Still now no person come and check network issue. I got a call from technical department person, ([protected]) three days back he said I will come to your location very next day. I called the number on next day, he replied please cancelled the connection and goto other network. Today I got one more call from vodafone [protected] she asked extra 10days to resolve the issue. I am using this mobile number for oncall support in a leading bank. I am staying chennai city (Pallikaranai) That's very funny reply got from vodafone "However, your place of residence falls in an area, which we cannot cover in the immediate future." . Team please take necessary action. If i want to go consumer court also I am ready.. because no one treating/looking this complaint. This is very worst answer from vodafone... In chennai the folks saying no repeates.. they providing advertisement in TV where every you go our network come with us...I am going to publish the same in facebook and tweeter .

    Hello, My Father is using a No [protected]. He had plan ADV RENTAL 1199 Half Rate. We didn’t notice but Vodafone revised call charges 2 years ago without any prior notice. When it came into our notice, we made a complain to Vodafone care. Everytime we were told that a senior person will call you. Whenever someone called he mentioned he don’t have authority to take any decision in this matter and his senior who have authority will call you. This cycle continued for a week and they ask for time of 4 days to resolve and said you’ll get at call till 6ht march. Again the dates for resolving issue revised to 8th and 12 th March. We didn’t received any calls on 2 nos we’ve given and we were told that call went unanswered, I can say for sure we didn’t received any calls in between. Then I called to your Nodal office, your executive told me that please send an email which contains details of previous and new rate charged to you. It wasn’t my job as you have everything but I send an email to nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com on 20th march from [protected]@gmail.com. When I didn’t received any email till yesterday, I made a call to your nodal officer. She said mail has been send to you, when I asked what for specifics she said she can’t reveal. She arranged a call back which I was supposed to receive in 2 hours but I didn’t get till now. When I called today at Nodal office, your executive told me I can check in system that you send a mail to us but we haven’t send any response so far. When I asked for reason she wasn’t able answer. Then I asked to speak to Mr. Jitendra, She said He is in meeting. When I asked for a complain no, so that I can take up the issue, she said it’s not possible. When I insisted on same, she simply disconnected. Can you believe on this? This was way outrageous. I didn’t expect such a same behaviour from your executive. This is how you treat a customer who is using your services from last 7 years, you enjoy insulting them?? From Last few weeks kind of response I got from Vodafone is totally unprofessional and unethical. Thanks!! Regards, Atul Singh

        i have buy new sim of vodafone no. [protected] n it's running 8 days n then aftrer they stopd my sim incoming n outgoing since 6 days with out veryfication n although i submited 2nd time dox before 4 days n they still tell me in process n not started my no... i went 4 time in vodafone store last 4 days but there is no result i want my sim start instantly... i dont want to suffer more... i m very angery for this register my complain n action on instant... my contact no :- [protected]

            Hello am using vodafone sms rate cutter they never mentioned that chargers were sms charges are applicable from mid nite 12 to 2 i.e. 00.00 am to 02.00 am bt all they mention is free sms is for 24 hrs... i spoke to executive they said they cant repay then company should have mentioned it as 22 hrs offers, kindly do the remmeds

              I have purchased Rs 1999/- for 3 month plane with dongle from Vodafone store Kalyan. Now I got bill within 1 month of Rs 647/- and they told me you have used 2G plane. I don't know when this device used 2G connection and when 3G. But point is when you have taken 1st class pass and if the 1st class train is not available or if you go by 2nd class then you will be fine for that. ref vodafone bill no:[protected]. for proof

                I am being harassed by Vodafone for a fictitious charges of Rs. 360/- I had a sim that was used in my Internet dongle and I used it for almost a year. Always paid on time. In November I wrote a mail to disconnect the same after which I was bombarded by calls from their Retention department who kept asking me to continue the card for two months without paying anything, not even taxes. I refused but the lady, Ms. Mabel said that she needs to show on record that they are trying to retain customers, and its ok if I do not continue after the free period. I reluctantly agreed, however, I still disconnected in a weeks time since the service was very bad compared to me new Internet plan. I had paid up everything prior to disconnection. Now they have cooked up theses baseless charges of Rs 360/- as taxes for the 1 week that the sim was not disconnected. This is my first complaint and I have already written to them that they need to stop harassing. If they continue, I shall file a case against them in the consumer courts of Mumbai.

                  i recently shifted from vodafone prepaid to postpaid.I was told that i would get various offers like cheaper 3g and reduced call rates by a vodafone representative.He told me that i would get 1 gb 3g for 2 months for Rs.150 but now when i shifted the vodafone representatives are saying that no such offer was given to you. the number of the person who gave me the offer is [protected] and my number is [protected](airtel number as i had to switch of my vodafone number)

                  yeah that was because you used to call me every day for 5 days saying that we will get back to you about your complain with in 24 hours, i didnt pick your phone once. if possible call me back today any time but only if you have a solution to my problem
                  i didn't receive any call from your side.anyways, I received a bill today with a lot of charges due to 3g usage which by the way i am not paying. and i would be pressing charges. and i guess i forgot to mention that i have the recording of the representative who offered me the deal.

                    My vodafone number:- [protected], i contacted customer care on 21th march 2014 to raise a complaint regarding network issue ( in 3g i get only 1 point tower and net is too slow) and i have got message that they will clear my problem on 29th march 2014 at 5.31pm. but they dint clear the problem. so i contact 198 but its showing " SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR CALL PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" and call gets disconnected. so i called from this number:- [protected] to customer care they asking to wait for more 7 days and they saying its problem in mobil not in network but its problem in network. a person from vodafone came my home and checked network and informed vodafone that there is issue in network but they discconected the called and blocked even that number, sir please contact me in this number:- [protected] and clear my problem and unblocked both numbers.. please clear my problem and i cant even able to use 3g net because its very slow.. thank you

                      Sir, my mobile number is [protected] and [protected].., vodafone doesnt respond properly to customers and dont provide proper service..past a month i had bought a new vodafone sim and im not getting proper network in normal and 3g im getting only 1 point tower in my phone in my area due to this i cant able to receive calls and even internet is working slow in my area so i have contacted customer care before few days and i have asked them to raise a complaint over it and resolve this network problem and they said they wil do it within a week and so on i have been waiting for a week though it dint got solved so i called 198 customer care again after a week but it was not connecting a recorded tone saying that " SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR CALL PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" and call get disconnected. I called from another number and asked why this happen they are saying that they had blocked my number because i spoke something wrong.. and they took complaint regaurding network isuue and ONE PERSON FROM VODAFONE CAME HOME AND CHECKED NETWORK AND SAID HERE NETWORK PROBLEM SO THEY WILL CLEARED BY 29TH MARCH 2014 AT 5.31PM.. BUT STILL THEY DINT CLEARED SO I CALLED CUSTOMER FROM THIS ANOTHER NUMBER THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER.THEY ASKING TO TAKE ANOTHER COMPLAINT AND WAIT FOR 7 DAYS. SIR I CANT WAIT AND I NEED IT TO BE SOLVED NOW. So i kindly request u to take action over them amd unblock my number so i could able to contact them and please help me in resolving network issue.. But vodafone people are blocking unwantedly so take action over them.. Please do contact me in this number [protected] and give me my status..please provide me network and contact me... Thank you

                        Hi, It gives me immense displeasure to be at the receiving end of this incorrect data usage issue from a Service Provider like Vodafone. The following are the series of events that have occured to me during the course of 2 days(07-Feb-2014 and 8-Feb-2014): 1. On 8th Feb 2014, i see that my balance has reduced to a shockingly Rs. 26 something when i had a balance of Rs. 230 something the previous night. Upon calling up the customer care, i am provided the statistics that i have been charged for data usage in slots of 2 sessions; the details of which are provided below: 7-Feb-14 Session Start Session End Data used Charges incurred 11:04:56 AM 9:57:01 PM 63.85MB Rs. 130.76 9:57:53 PM 12:49:17 AM 36.59MB Rs. 74.96 When i asked for balance refund, i was told that i wont be provided that because it is getting reflected on your systems that i have used data. The reason for dispute here is that while i had used internet from Wifi, i had been charged on data(Vodafone GPRS). I was informed that when the Wifi network is low, the Vodafone systems are designed in such a way that the connection is automatically routed through Vodafone GPRS, which is a false practise. If a customer is using internet through wifi, how can a Service Provider charge him for data by automatically routing his connection without his permission. The following are the people that i talked to for this issue on the Vodafone Customer Care: Kalyan Powar Jitendra Phalke(Supervisor) Next, i called again to register for a complain. This time i interacted with Ankit, followed by Javed(Supervisor). The interaction number for the same is[protected]. When i asked to register a complain regarding this issue and provide me a complain number, they didnt do so. Then i talked to the Senior Floor Supervisor(Swapna). The Senior Floor Supervisor was not registering my complaint initially telling me that it will be ultimately closed from the back-end when they will see that the customer is asking for refund and the system is showing that the customer used internet from Vodafone Live connection. On much insistence, the senior floor supervisor registered a complaint. The complain number is [protected]. 2. In the evening, i get a prompt on my phone which says Session date: 08.02.2014 Session cost: 20.66INR Consumed Volume: 10.082MB Current Balance: 4.05INR followed by another prompt Session date: 08.02.2014 Session cost: 4.04INR Consumed Volume: 1.963MB Current Balance: 0.01INR For this instance, i hadnt used internet through any medium whatsoever; neither through Wifi nor through data. For this case, i am informed by the Vodafone authorities that "Keeping up with today’s fast paced world, data is a default service provided to customers just like Voice & SMS and there may be some backend applications on my cell phone which might consume data even though i am not connected to internet anyhow." This is a serious statement by them because: A. If that is the case, there were many instances when i hadnt been using data services from the same handset with the same setting but i wasnt charged anytime like this before. B. How can a customer be charged because of a design flaw decision that is taken by Vodafone. So finally, in a matter of 24 hours, Vodafone has deducted around 230INR. On the first interaction i am told that it can happen that when i use Wifi, there is a chance that if the network is not good, the connection is taken through Vodafone Live and it gets charged as packet data. Is it a mistake on the part of the customer that a customer has to pay for a technical design flaw on the part of Vodafone. The customer uses the Wifi and u charge him for data??? It isnt the first time that i am using Wifi. Infact, for the latter session, i used the data in full connection environment. I was getting a proper network on Wifi with the network radar at its fullest. So how can it happen that i got a low network. In the second case, both my data as well as Wifi was off. On the second interaction, i am told that there may be some third party applications that maybe using the internet even though your data is off. My data packet has been off from Jan 12 2014. Why i havent been charged before for this and how can it happen that i am charged in the name of third party applications only today??? As a loyal customer of Vodafone, this has left me flabbergasted and disappointed that how can a company charge a customer for the data that he hasnt used. I have appealed to both, the Vodafone Nodal Officer and the Appellate Authority but havent been provided any resolution about it. I hope that i will be provided a resolution on this issue as early as possible.

                          This company does not know how to manage the business .

                          Incompetent management

                          1. They can not send monthly bill, I received the monthly bill after 4 months for post paid connection .Customer are coming to our house and took all the details i contacted more than 30 customer service people they can not organise the bill . There is a mobile message system to get the bill . the system and message is not working .
                          There is no control check to check the system

                          2.Wrong Business practice - How many people and how long Vodafone will do wrong business practice

                          One customer representative come and collected Rs 500for post paid for 1299 plan at my residence changing Air tel to Vodafone He told In india 24 hours local and natioanl phone call free, When i get the bill they charge 1299 plus local charges, national calls, roaming charges, message charges monthly i am getting the bill for Rs 3000
                          I asked why they are charging, becuase i travelled from Bangalore to Tamil Nadu, Where is the question of
                          National Call free . They are telling different operator . Vodafone is operating in all states even in Tamil nadu
                          but they charge for roaming charges, national calls from Bangalore and message charges

                          Let us see how many people and how long Vodafone will this wrong business practice . Billing is not transaprent
                          and hidden charges .

                          Now after transfer from Air tel to Vodafone Now i am thinking of going back to Airtel for their inability to solve and fix the problem, poor quality phone and charging for national call and roaming charges which they take for RS 1300 monthly free calls

                            I am using a number vodafone prepaid number ([protected]) of Delhi Circle and i recharged my number with 3G unlimited pack of Rs. 655 for 28 Days from that day i came in Haryana at my home for long time and one of my friend who is having a vodafone prepaid number of haryana he is using 3g internert in haryana on full speed. But when i select WCDMA network on my number, Data connection get disabled and when i select gsm its working at very poor speed. I called to customer care at 198 and they kept me on hold for a long time after thet they disconnected my call. according to vodafone if in Roming we have 3g network of vodafone they will provide us services as they are provinding in local areas. they why the hell they are not provinding good servives to they customers This site of consumer complaints will take any action regarding this ???                                 After I decided to migrate from Postpaid to Prepaid, I visited the Vodafone center at Chromepet on 25th January and paid the outstanding amount of Rs.768/= through my debit card (I have my monthly statement as proof)


                                Later, I got a message on 21st of March saying that I have an overdue amount of Rs.179/= from my postpaid account (which I had already migrated back in January)


                                And today, it was a cataclysm that my outgoing calls have been disconnected all of a sudden


                                Couple of questions,


                                1. Why is the overdue amount alert coming after 2 months of my migration to Prepaid
                                2. That too, when I paid all my outstanding bill amount, where did that extra 179 bucks came from ?
                                3. How can you disconnect my outgoing calls amidst all this upheaval ?


                                It really made me skeptical about pursuing relationship with Vodafone and you have been deceitful to me as far as this incident is concerned


                                It is totally disconcerting and I need proper explanation from the authorities or else I dont mind going to the consumer court to get justice

                                Dear madam, I checked the same on vodafone store, whatever the statement that they have provided to be is not a reasonable one. My billing date was 12th of every month. So here i paid all the amount which they said (Monthly bill+internet charges+{13th-24th usage bil amount too}) Since i migrated completly to prepaid from 25th Jan. Here how comes they can charge me the usage or rental amount between the period of (26th to 12th Feb ie..next period bill cycle) I hope this does'nt sense good. please help me out here

                                  Dear Sir, This is in regards to my Incorrect Nov’13 Vodafone Post-Paid Bill, Mob # [protected] which is around 15000/- .I have been trying to rectify this since three months but haven’t got any relevant solution so far, instead of getting repetitive reminder calls 100 times a day in my office hours. I was using 199 Corporate Plan + 3G Plan(650/-, 3GB), and my average bill is around 1300/-and the handset set which I was using is MT11(Sony Xperia NeoV), if you check my past billing trends wherein my data usage is within 3 GB. But as per the Nov’13 Bill which is showing 9GB Consumption in last 3 days of my billing cycle i.e. 24th, 25th & 26th Nov’13, which is not at all possible. And this is exactly more than 10 times to the Average Bill, I think there is a huge error in calculation of my Data Usage by the end of Vodafone and by no chance I am going to pay this bill which I haven’t used. Moreover logically it’s not possible as the internal memory of my handset is 1 GB and 9GB is a huge data which is actually cannot be consumed even you are using on a laptop that to in 3 days Also being a regular customer of Vodafone, my outgoing got barred without any prior intimation and without providing any feasible solution to it. I think they only believe in giving 100 of reminder calls to their customers from different executives in a rotation(daily basis) but not taking their customer’s problem into consideration. Looks like that they are not interested in retaining their customers for a longer run Would request you to kindly look into my problem on priority basis & Looking forward for a quick solution for my problem.

                                    Roaming charges will applicable If the roaming pack is re-activated during the mid bill cycle, then why it was not informed to me and also why you gave me the confirmation over phone as well as email like "Roaming pack is enabled and you don't get any roaming charges". It seems you are cheating the customers. Please refund the amount which i paid.
