I had asked vodafone to provide me cheapest international roaming plan in the month of may 2019. They provided rs. 149 plan and when i came abroad, they charged me rs. 2500 for 9 mb data usage whereas i had already asked them that my number should only receive sms. This happened 4 months ago and i had emailed them to sort out the bill which they did not do. They kept on charging bill on my mobile number and today after 5 months that i am not using that number, they are calling my friends and family members and threatening them to pay a bill of rs. 5700. I don't understand how they can charge some unacceptable amount on rs. 149 plan. They call from different personal numbers anytime during day or night (My relative received a call at 10 pm indian time from a personal number) even on whatsapp. I have already emailed them again to help to sort out the bill (We informed them to reply on email but they still keep calling) but they keep on calling and messaging my family members every few seconds. I don't know how can they call anyone from my contact list and ask money to them. Infact they have called some people who are not even on my contact list and i myself never called them so i suspect this might be a serious data theft case. I am afraid my personal data is being shared for some hazardous causes and if they are running some scam. Not sure if vodafone has hired some recovery company who blackmail and threaten users, and rob their personal details. Now they are threatening to file a case on me and defame me by calling all contacts from my billing information (I believe this is not allowed to them). All this has disturbed me a lot and i am now going through mental trauma. Please help me as soon as possible to resolve this as this is really affecting me.

None of the customer service have responded. They are just sending pre scripted replies and even after certain attempts to contact via email, they have now sent me a legal notice and asked to pay the bill within 5 working days. I email'd the contacts provided in legal notice, but they did not reply either. This is a clear loot.

    I have earlier also given a complaint about the issue of not able to port my vodafone number. Whenever i try to send a port message to 1900 from my vodafone number, the message fails saying "failed to send this message". The vodafone has blocked from sending any port message. Kindly look into my concern and help to resolve the issue. I have raised this issue on 6th sep 2019 as well. But still i have got no response or solution for this issue. Attached is the screenshot of the error message. Please do the needful.

      I am not able to check out going call details in your portal vodafone my account web page. When i am trying to open this site, page automatically directed to another site like, discover. Vodaphone.in and after logging into my account there nothing as out going call list which i had always checked by your previous portal vodafone my account web page. So please suggest what should i do.

        I lost my Vodafone SIM card [protected] on 04 September 2019 and had it blocked the same day. I then visited the store personally and submitted the required documents to obtain a new SIM. It is now 11 September 2019 and the new SIM is still not active.

        I visited the store again today (11 Sept) and resubmitted the documents. I was told it would start working by 17:00 today and it is now 22:30 and it does not work.

        I had a conversation with Vodafone's customer care service and the agent said I need to visit the store again since there is nothing he can do at his end. I don't understand how they expect me to visit the store for the THIRD time in a week for something that is not my fault. It is clearly their deficiency.

        I would like my SIM to be active and working as soon as possible. Please contact me at [protected].

        After 5 personal visits to the vodafone store and numerous phone calls and emails, my sim was finally activated after 11 days.

          My name is abhijit mondal and i am writing this email regarding my vodafone connection [protected].
          Since last few days, i am receiving a popup message and stating i have used 0.00 mb data and rupees 5.50 is being deducted from my account.
          I had spoked to one of your representatives, but it seems they don't know why the money has been deducted. Please note mobile data pack setting is turned off on my mobile device. Though frequently i am getting this popup and money is getting deducted. More than 200 rupees has been deducted from my account without my knowledge.
          I am requesting to look in this matter and kindly do the needful to get the money back as soon as possible.
          I am a very old customer to vodafone so please don't make me switch connection to some other network.

            I visited vodafone laxmipuri store kolhapur on 17th july 2019. They said i need to send message to 199. After sending the message i will receive a call.

            I have sent 4 times message to 199. Two times they have called me and tried to retain me in postpaid only. They are not interested to convert to prepaid. I have called 198 3-4 times. There also no response.

            I messaged corporatecare. [protected]@ vodafone.in. They also just replied please contact the branch.

            Neither the branch nor online are ready to convert the connections. My mobile number [protected]

            Better to shutdown these kinda companies.

              I am a vodafone postpaid subscriber. Due to poor network reception, mobile data i preferred to change network. Firstly i changed from postpaid to prepaid in june 2nd week. By mistake i went for porting in aug 1st week. It was cancelled saying duration was below 90 days. Now 90 days is complete. But i am unable to port. It says sms failed to send. Pls do needful

                There is major issue with my billing this cycle with vodafone. I was in vietnam with iroam free pack.

                But i have been charged with 2556 rupees for 127 mb data.
                I am putting the screenshot of sms sent to me but i have been charged with 5.5 rupees/per 10 kbps.

                Also, i did use any data nor calls on 26th and 27th aug but i have been charged with rental.

                After asking for proof of data usage and incoming calls. Vodafone is not providing any proofs and just saying below statement.

                "you may have inadvertently switched to mobile data usage even while you were using a wi-fi service without realizing it.in the future, you can avoid this happening by switching off your mobile data service in your handset settings."

                  Today one phone call is received from a number [protected] on which i followed that the number has come from vodafone bill section. One lady has talk to me adversely regarding non - payment of bill against number [protected] which i have purchased as a family pack along with other two post paid numbers. Since 2001 i am a serious customer and having no record for non payment. Due to lacuna from vodafone shop at asansol i have to pay excess money which is not expedient.
                  Now my appeal before you that,
                  The lady should apologist before me for her misbehave with a senior customer, and before payment of the dues the matter regarding wrong connection should be finalised.

                    I had activated international roaming pack rs.149 for the country uk on july 27th. Next day, i traveled to uk and got a lyca mobile sim card. Thereafter, i didn't use my vodafone number for any incoming/ outgoing or internet purpose. As, i had lyca sim, there was no need o[censored]sing my vodafone anymore.
                    I received my bill last month and was really shocked to see my bill amount. It was around rs.3900 for the thing which i didn't use. Below are approaches i tried to get my bill amount clarified but of no use:
                    1. Some 20 days back, i had a chat with vodofone representative from my mobile app and reported this issue. I didnt get any proper response and he told that i have activated i-roam which is rs.2999. Then i told to confirm him that i shouldn't get any amount for roaming, so asked him to deactivate all my plans related to it, including 149 pack. But i have got my bill now and they have put rs.149 for two continuous months.
                    2. I called to customer care number +91-[protected] today and reported this issue. They again told me that i had activated i-roam for rs.2999. I asked them to give me any proof to show that i had accepted or said yes to activate this. All the queries we speak to customer care are getting recorded and you people are not able to show any proof that we have accepted for the option. They told me to wait and kept on hold for more than 20 mins literally.
                    3. I again called customer care today and asked for the same proof, but of no use. He told that i had attend the incoming call from india two times and one call cost is 100+. So it could be 300+ for two calls. Even this amount is fine to accept atleast. But there was no answer provided for iroam charges.

                    I am just writing this e-mail after all such irritations i had to clarify my bill.

                      1.I opted for English landed up to Hindi speaking agent.
                      2.I wanted to switch from post paid to prepaid and needed a request id from the supervisor in order to proceed.I spoke to the first agent for good five minutes who was trying to convince me to stay with Vodafone postpaid service.After declining the offer 5 times, he sent me to his supervisor.
                      3.the supervisor had no knowledge of why the call was transferred to her.by this time I was irritated.Once I told her she again tried to persuade me towards sticking to postpaid.Inspite of requesting multiple times to move me to prepaid.
                      4.i was at work, I informed her that I just want to make a change as the internet service was horrible and their was no coverage in my area.She asked me to hand over the phone toy husband :).My husband is the person whose name the line is on, they took my adhar and picture when they gave me the line.They knew who the user is, but the customer service agent was a sexist.She asked me if I could hand over the phone to my husband since I am allowed to request the connection change.(suflddenly after wasting 10min she realized that).My husband has requested the same for his line and mine .He was asked by the agent that the second line holder needs to request it else it can't happen.Make up your mind people.
                      4.once I handed over the phone to my husband she called him a LIAR.My husband calmly told her that he wants to keep the number but doesn't want to pay for something that doesn't work.She again called him a liar for switching the connections on false pretence.

                      It is our choice to whether I want to keep Vodafone or not.Who are you to call me a liar.Check the history and see how often has your Vodafone worked.it takes 3 times to call a number.

                      My take on the whole thing, don't waste the customers time.I was ftlrustatwd with vodafones signal problem and I was further irritated by the customer service supervisor.

                        My dad has been to dubai for a weeks time. We recharged 3495/- package of Vodafone International Roaming. I even called their customer care after recharge whether we need to do anything more, they said no upon reaching destination Rs 99 will be deducted. But nothing as such is happeing. My cousin using vodafone Postpaid have got network. I have called customer care 10 times. Raised complaints on mail and twitter and they still have a deaf ear to it. For every network option I am getting as Forbidden written in front of it. I need my money back as 30% of their trip is already over. What is the use of such service. Its a scam and open loot of money.

                        What is the use when the trip is finished. Issues pertaining to international roaming needs to be solved within 24 hours and you people too 4 days just to reply back. How do we tackle the problems we face due to no connectivity.

                          यह शिकायत मोबाइल नंबर [protected] से संबंधित है ।
                          मुझे अपना उपरोक्त नंबर पोस्टपेड से प्रीपेड करना था उसी वजह से 29 अगस्त को मैं सेक्टर 18 नोएडा के वोडाफोन स्टोर में गया। एक लंबे समय तक इंतजार करने के बाद वोडाफोन अधिकारी ने वह सब प्रक्रिया कि जो पोस्टपेड से प्रीपेड करने में की जाती हैं साथ ही उन्होंने मुझे एक नया सिम कार्ड भी दिया और यह आश्वस्त करवाया कि 3 दिन में आपका पुराना सिम रद्द हो जाएगा तब आप नया नंबर शुरू कर सकते हैं। बकाया पोस्टपेड का और नए सिंह का अमाउंट भी मुझसे ले लिया गया।
                          3 दिन के बाद मैंने कस्टमर केयर को फोन किया जिसने मुझे यह बताया कि आपकी कोई भी इंफॉर्मेशन हमारे पास नहीं आई है यह स्टोर की लापरवाही थी।
                          आज 9 सितंबर 2019 है इस दौरान मैंने वोडाफोन को मेल, ऑनलाइन चेटिंग वह कस्टमर केयर से बात लगातार कि मगर मेरी समस्या का अभी तक कोई हल नहीं निकल पाया है।
                          इसी दौरान इन्होंने मुझे एक्स्ट्रा अमाउंट का बिल तो दिया ही साथ ही मुझे दोबारा से वोडाफोन स्टोर में सभी डॉक्यूमेंट जमा कराने की हिदायत भी दी।
                          मान्यवर, जब सारी प्रक्रिया ही मैं पूरी कर चुका हूं तो फिर वोडाफोन तकनीकी खामियों और अधिकारियों लापरवाही की वजह से मैं क्यों अपना कीमती वक्त दोबारा स्टोर जाने में लगाऊं?
                          अंत में मैं चाहता हूं वोडाफोन पोस्टपेड कनेक्शन को तुरंत ही प्रीपेड किया जाए, मैं ऑलरेडी अपनी सारी फॉर्मेलिटी पूरी कर चुका हूं और जो भी एक्स्ट्रा चार्ज आप लगा रहे हैं इसको रद्द किया जाए

                            Dear sir,

                            My vodafone number, is overly charged for international calling, though i had activated in the international roaming plan for all african countries, and was confirmed by the member of vodafone on the toll free call. After noticing on return of my travel, i visited the vodafone store in mahavir nagar, and booked a complaint, but from there, they gave me a feedback that i am being rightly charged.

                            I also marked a mailto their appletate, for the same, but the problem was never solved. Now they have stopped my outgoing calls, even though i have always paid my bills on time, since last 10 years,

                            I am using their services, and not a single time, i have delayed my payments to vodafone.

                            I duly request you to kindly take up the matter with them, as their team and agents are continuosly calling and harassing me to make the payment.

                              Hi I have recharged a number [protected] on 5th Sept but wrongly i have made same recharge of 199 on 6th of Sept, I have call to Vodafone Assam customer care regarding this but they said they will nor refund or carry forward the recharge. Two recharge will process at the same time.
                              That means the ultimately I have to bear the lost. Kind of cheat.

                              If the condition is not there how the recharge transaction got successful.

                                I travelled to italy and switzerland with vodafone pack 3999 enabled for 10 days. It worked smoothly in transit at abu dhabi and also during my 4 days stay in italy. Once i entered swtzerland, it was just not connecting to swisscom either in auto or manual mode. I struggled with voda app chatline and every time they said there was no issue with my connection and wanted me to restart the device. Unfortunately when i did that, i was directed to another chat agent who started from scratch. Eventually i could not connect to calls and data while in switzerland. This left me extremely upset and frustrated.

                                I did manage to put in couple of calls by re-booting the device when swisscom would connect for a brief 30 secs or so and then disappear.

                                I would like to have an explanation for such tardy service and also ask vodafone not to charge the pack tariff in my september bills

                                  I got call from consumer complaint from the +[protected] and he said dat money which I paid to naukri.com that money will be refunded by by 4009 rs for a legal agreement and he will send dat agreement, I dint recieve dat agreement nor my money. N now his Num is switched off. I got mail from this mail I’d:[protected]@cyberservices.com. He said the amount NEFT on Saturday n I will receive it during bank working hours but yet I dint receive.

                                    Hi I using vodafone more than 10 years. However past 6 month to 1 year i am facing horrible network and data issue. And past 1 week in my office location home location i unable to make calls or data speed is avilable. I have called more than 50 time last week, but the answer is from customer care is same which they say we are working on the issue.
                                    Hence i decided to port to other network ASAP. I also make sure that my family members and my frieds who are using vodafone will port to other network. I will also put my problem in my company blog so that people who are using vodfone will swith to other network.

                                    Complaint which i had raised last week has been closed stating very thing is fine, I was shock to hear this today. Hundreds of msg's and calls are being received from vodafone as i was searching for some message today i came to know that many deduction is made from the account. Nobody responds to any calls or msg's. When today the query was raised to costumer care they denied to refund.

                                        This might not be the first time that the deduction is made.. But i've observed and raised the issue only this time i don't know how much of money might had been deducted in this way.

                                        Please help me regarding this.. I've a faith with your service all the sims are... Of vodafone in our family... This is the first time i've gone through any issues with you.

                                        Hi, I am unable to send Port message through my Vodafone no, I tried several times but always it failed. I have enough balance in my account but not succeed.
                                        Deactivate my vodafone sim, Reached near by Vodafone shop (Guduvanchery) but he his not doing it.
                                        I have raised this complaint with vodafone custom care on 21-aug-2019.i am not able to use internet data since 17-august.so far no resolution. It's been almost 8 days with no intent to resolve this problem.my complaint number with vodafone is [protected].
