I am a consumer of vodafone postpaid service. Based on one of their plans they have given me insurance policy to cover any damage to my phone. A month ago the screen of my phone got damaged. So i raised a claim for the same. The reference number for the same is claim reference no. [protected].

These people have collected all the sensitive information documents like my aadhar card, pan card, my marriage certificate, images of my broken phone, aadhar & pan card of my husband etc.
Its been 1 month & there is no resolution at their end. All they do is send an email of incomplete documents ask new set of documents. By doing so they have delayed the process by 1 month.

What should i as a consumer do now?

To verify the documents they have taken 1 month this shows the inefficiency of the team. Extremely bad service, duping customers by providing fake promises of insurance.

I will have to move to consumer court if appropriate action is not taken.

They are just doing fake advertisements and duping customers. Strict action should be taken against them vodafone india and vodafone shield

    13th april, 19 - i visited vodafone store at mohali, 3-b2 (Punjab) for changing my postpaid plan of phone number 99*227. Before that i was about to port away to airtel but vodafone people called me up and offered me discounted plan of 299/mnth as 272/ mnth. I was attended by mr. Vivek (Store customer care executive) who raised my request for plan change (Req id[protected]. He also called up vodafone back office executive (Sandeep kaur) for the purpose. She also talked to me and confirmed me that my desired plan will be activated within 48 hrs.

    13th may, 19 - on receipt of the bill i was surprised to see that my bill is 656/-. When i checked details i found that apx 500 rs. Is the charges for internet usage which indicated that my plan was not changed. When i called up customer care, they informed me that there is no plan change request from my side in any store. She told me that she can raise request rite now but i refused because i was already wrongly charged for the month. But despite of that she raised the request and my plan was changed from that day onward.

    18th may, 19 - i reached to same vodafone store which i visited a month ago and contacted same customer executive (Mr. Vivek) and told him the whole story. He pulled out my details and confirmed me that i am rite and plan should have changed and bill amount is wrongly raised. He spoke to sandeep kaur and told her the issue. Sandeep kaur also spoke to me and to my surprise she said "sir apko 48 hrs baad confirm karna chaiye tha customer care phone karke k mera plan change hogya ya nai." (Sir you should have called up to check whether your plan has changed or not?).
    I strongly rejected her response as vodafone want me to call customer care to know that i need to visit vodafone store to change my plan then wait for 48 hrs and then again call to check whether it has got changed or not!!
    Then she handed over the phone to her senior official mr. Gaurav who spoke to me and offered me waiver of 150 rs which i rejected again as extra amount was 350 rs. He told me that he has this much limit of waiver amount only. He requested me to write this issue to your level which i am doing rite now.

    At the end, i am highly frustrated with the treatment given to me over this. Surprisingly it take few hours to get a new connection but takes 48 hrs and has to visit store for plan change and then endless follow ups. Company can spends crores of rs on advertisement but ignore existing customers.
    My complaint was closed without any resolution and no one in the company is ethical enough to provide solution.

      It is always the same thing with vodafone. They get worse day by day and their network quality falls way faster than that. I always have bad call quality and mobile data reception. Even with a good high end smartphone, vodafone does best not to let users enjoy lag free surfing and interrupted call quality.
      Even with advanced 4g network, there is absolute no betterment of call quality.

        Actually my call history are deleted. There was a ph no which is very important to me. The no started with 9564 may be, and call coming between 10a. M-11am, dated 31.5.19. I need this ph no. How can i get back this ph no, beacuase the no is very important for mei requested you help me to get back my no.. I would be very thankful i[censored] could. So kindly solve my problem.

          replacement sim not activated

          I lost my vodafone sim on 30th may 2019 and i urgently went to the vodafone store for a dim replacement. I got a new sim and the executive said that it will get activated in 4 hrs. But it didn't activated. I visited the store next day and talked to the executive, she said it is on hold from the back end. She mailed someone and said it will be activated in 1 hr. Now this is the next day and still the sim has not got activated. Please look...

          I have 4 vodafone number and 4 different mobile devices all 4g compatible
          But still there are severe network issues on the below two locations -
          Location 1: kamgar nagar chs, 4 bunglows andheri west, gharkul society, ratan nagar, four bungalows, andheri west, mumbai, maharashtra 400053

          I've sent multiple complaints to vodafone but this problem is getting worse day by day

            Hello this is nitin from lucknow.. I had the offer of 398 on my vodafone number which had checked carefully before the recharge... And the offer had 84 days validity with 117 gb data and unlimited calling... But after recharge.. The vodafone company hasn't provided me the validity of 84 days... And they have provided just 70 days of validity... After so many calls and complaint they are not helping me... And saying that they can't provide the validity on my number... It is a complete worst experience till now from vodafone... I need help regarding this... And want to complaint for this

              Dear vodafone,

              Sub : pathetic service from vodafone _ red together is a complete flop show. Why is this nonsense show from voda fone? Against purchase of new connection : [protected]. Looking for ending association with voda fone. Thanks a lot for all your hopeless & worst support as always.

              I have been using voda fone no - [protected] from past few years. However have purchased new connection : [protected] @-vodafone stores - near to devegowda petrol bunk, banashankari 2nd stage, bangalore as on few day's back.

              Jus now received a pathetic & nonsense message from your team saying that "hello, we are sorry to hear about your decision to leave vodafone. After deactivation, the secondary members of your red together account will continue on their individual postpaid plans. We will contact you within 7 days for your request."

              Many times called customer care to speak to supporting staff’s on behalf of solving issues pertaining to red together? Why it's a complete flop show???, having positive hope that customer care @ vodafone is of world class. Contrary to these ideology nobody bothers to attend to customer,, never bothers to meet customer, no religious intention to handover proper solution to customer & they made me to run around like a mad dog, eventhough concern was requested, pleaded... Finally begged, they never bothers to extend any support.

              Only one word comes from everybody @ vodafone that they will not be able to solve my genuine problem, come what may happen?. As per them we still living in the era where no customer support shall be extended, they donot have any botheration?,,,,, hence requesting you all, pl cancel my connection from immediate effect so that i will run away from your teams,,,, it's so horrible!!!

              It was one of the worst moment in my life since i have begged @ call centres to just solve one of the genuine service issues,,,,, inspite of repeated calls to your customer care representative's, they are not all interested on any body’s call. At some point of time eventhough i have beel looking for necessary sla to address my issues.,,,,,.???//

              Every time i have to beg at one or the other person at your call centre to just listen to my compliant. Your service centre nor call centre which is of no help to me. Horribly complete vodafone customer care team butchered my valuable time, energy. 'am completely got frustrated due to such acts of impropriety by your team mate's mindset & callous approach.

              Fortunately, 'am moving to your competitor to look for better service as we are into completely in the state of shock due to rubbish experience from vodafone.

              Following are few unanswered queries :

              Why this type of careless attitude from vodafone staff’s? I'm surprised why there is no quality checks???.

              It was found that your front desk employee's - mr. Ganesh @ vodafone stores - near to devegowda petrol bunk, banashankari 2nd stage, bangalore never interested in productive customer interaction. They doesn't bothered to revert back to customer for timely commitments. Unfortunately there is no good qualitative checks done against any commitment’s, why it so?

              Why none of the relationship manager’s set right system on behalf of my bad experience with vodafone?

              I can’t tolerate these types wrong doing from you?... This shows that vodafone never interested in productive customer interaction’s & transaction’s.. Infact such unhealthy development’s are bringing such embarrassing events to occur repeatedly?

              Please cancel all transaction from particularly with vodafone & also with your customer care from immediate effect & cancel my connection with you guys on top priority?.

              Same communication forwarded to customer care & also to parent vodafone centre @ cporporate office.

              Appreciate positive quick reply & hope you will help me on addressing on such genuine cases, where intervention/ ownership is required.

                I want to deactivate my vodafone postpaid connection with number [protected]. As my sim card is lost and i have switched cities so cannot travel to any stores. It tried calling customer care but was not helpful. My phone has been switched off for more than 2 months.

                As i am been charged for the sim card without usage request you to look into the matter and get the my complaint resolved

                  My outgoing calls are discounted while i call to postpaid department they are not picking my call, so i call to prepaid n ask to transfer the call to postpaid or supervisor he is running to finish the call they are there for resolving the problem of customers or what.

                    On 18th may i requested to convert my sim from postpaid to prepaid in raebareli vodafone store near degree college chauraha. I gave them money for last generated bill and for first recharge (Inr 249). They told me that within 2-3 working days my sim will convert to prepaid but it's about to 2 weeks and they did nothing.
                    I'm helpless vodafone store is not helping me.

                      I am using below 2 numbers in Vodafone:

                      I raised a complaint against my wife's number [protected] for network related issue since 4 months back, it has not been resolved till now after raising multiple complaints about it.

                      So I decided to port this number in Airtel, after which I got a call from Nanak Chand ([protected]) and he promised that my issue will resolved and I will get a reversal of 300 Rs on the bill, which has not been done till now.

                      His phone is mostly switched off, and whenever he picks the phone, he refuses for the money reversal as promised. I have raised this issue multiple times with Vodafone, but I am not getting any kind of help from them.

                      Please check the screenshot of the message I got from him.

                      Request you take an immediate action against him, so that they cannot make fool of other customers.

                        Vodafone india has blocked my incoming services for the second time for not recharging my phone. This is straight up bullying and abuse of power they hold. This is my second complaint on this forum regarding the issue.

                        As a reply, they ask you to call the customer care number which itself is very stressful and take up hours of my time and yet they won't start your services.

                        They want me to recharge for for unlimited combo which costs minimum 200. Which i dont want too.

                        The option to recharge my phone or not is my decision and they cant just block my incoming calls. I dont recharge my phone because i dont call anyone, that doesnt gives them right to block my number.

                        I request you to take strict action against them and help me restart my number.

                        To vodafone: i will take the matter to consumer court if you fail to start my number by tomorrow. I have proof and im well within my rights and will seek fair compensation.

                          My prepaid sim deactivated by vodafone saying that i didn't recharged it for 90 days. That is my personal number and am the customer of vodafone for more than 10 years. Now they are saying there is no option to activate my number as it is the rule of trai. When i was taken the connection the offer given by the company was unlimited. Now they cheating the customers. I am ready to recharge but now they are saying that i cant recharge also. Due to this i lost many valuable messages related to my profession and other personal contacts. Even my banking is now stuck without communication. I want my number back immediately. Vodafone is responsible for this. Please solve this issue within 24 hours. Otherwise i will move to court against vodafone kerala.

                          your company's network is very dirty in our area. Leave the talk of 4G 2 G is giving speed. With a lot of difficulty, we have complained several times on 198, but it is the same as the situation.

                            Today morning at 8:54am i received a sms stating that-
                            "hello! Entertainment pack is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of rs 35 has been deducted."
                            It's very dissapoibtibg as i have not requsted for any vas packs. I want my rs.35 back immediately for my prepaid number [protected].
                            Deactivated the entertaiment pack by sending sms but did not received the money back.. I want the money back soon.

                              Vodafone network company my areas all sim sales points shop front 4g network name board advertisements seen,

                              This vodafone advertisement i hope recharged rs.509 4g unlimited voice call & 1.5 gp 4g data plan.

                              After vodafone company not provided 4g and 3g data and voice call services also. This area 2g network available.

                              I am fooling for this vodafone advertisement hope and my money totally wasted.

                              Vodafone network per day every voice call automatically disconnecte to week signal& heavy hanging network problem in tamilnadu, overall tamilnadu fully maximum 2g network signal also not connected.

                              This vodafone network is not comfortable 3g&4g smartphone network. Vodafone all network advertisement is fake, fooling around all people money.

                              Another vodafone no so fast but this no is not.
                              I ported my number from Jio to Vodafone. From day 1 data not connecting. If I switch on data network will gone. I spoke to the customer care many times. Finally they ask me replace a Sim. Even after replace same issue. Contact :[protected]

                                    My tel no [protected] was disconnected by me personally going to the vodafone pm road gallery on 22nd feb, 2019 vide docket number [protected].
                                    Was given to understand that the number would be disconnected in 7 days by then..
                                    Am shocked to say that have been getting 50 plus calls a day fro vodafone representatives and messages threatening to disconnect my other mobile numbers for non payment of dues until april 2019..
                                    How can i pay dues for march and april when my phone is disconnected from feb 22nd..
                                    Need closure to this very quickly

                                      Vodafone india has charged me for activation o[censored]nnecessary weekly packs without my consent. Many such packs were activated. The most recent one is as follows:

                                      25/4/19- dindo_games_50 rs. 50/-

                                      I tried to get i resolved by coordinating with vodafone customer care but its of no use. They are continuously telling me that i must have downloaded this by clicking on some pop up which is absolutely absurd.

                                      I haven't downloaded or installed any such stupid games of yours.
                                      I want a refund for this!!!
