On 09jul 19. I got star sport channel. No 407 activated on my set top box, but even after repeated calls to customer care, my channel was not displaying anything and the executive was hell bend on registering a compleint which is chargeable, and i didnt wanted to do that, when i told him to cancel my activation, he cited the lock in period policy and denied that. Videocon d2h is fooling customers this way first they create problem in your channels and then they ask the user to register the complaint which is chargeable. Kindly look into the matter, save customers from such fraudsters.

    I have ordered a new hdrf box from videocon on d2h website on 6th july 2019. On your website claiming that within 6 hours the connection will set but till date[protected] no installation team came. I have contacted your customer care; they have escalated the issue but till now[protected] they didn't resolve the issue. Whenever i ask customer executive to connect the line to their senior, they just put call on hold and after some time they disconnect the line. I am really frustrated with your services, never ever thought that videocon like company having such worst customer care service.

    One of your dealer called and informed me that the product which i purchased is not in their stock, this is not at all my concerns whether delar have goods or not, it is quite surprising to know that such a big and reputed company don't have a proper planing and logistic services.

    Company just making a fake claim on their website that within 6-hour installation will be done. This claim is just to trap a new customer. Feeling cheated.

    By making fake claim, providing worst customer care services, all such things is not sign of a reputed branded company.

      I have selected my own set of channels however few channels are working fine but the channels related to sports are not working and always shows signal not available. This is really frustrating because some channels are working and some are not. Customer care is saying they can not see any problem from their end and asking for engineers to send and i have to pay the money.

      Why should i pay the money if few channels are working and only sports channels are not working. It's responsibility of videocon d2h to resolve the problem.

        Hi,
        I am using videocon d2h from last 7-8 years and it was all good so far. But this time it crossed all the limit.
        I am facing signal problem from last almost 2 months, I raised complaint multiple time but no one is coming to fix it. They are closing my complaint without resolving it. I am getting a call from [protected] each time i raised a complaint saying engineer will in 2-3 hrs but no body is coming and closing the complaint. I explained my issue 100 times till now then also this people are again and again asking "What is the issue?".
        As i done 3 months recharge so i was not SHIFTING to other service provider and giving them chance again and again. BUT now i think it better to shift to other good provider.

        Finally after one and half month this people got some time to visit my home. It took just 10 mins to change the receiver. i was waiting for one and half month for this 10 mins. Excellent service. keep it up Videocon D2H team.

          This is reg my videocon d2h customer id 8649230. Last month i found that there were many add-ons activated automatically on my account (Rs. 2963.40/- (Including 18% gst) per month (30 days) and after so many followups, mails, phone calls complaint was taken on 20th jun 19 (Complaint no.[protected]. Same was resolved on 23rd jun 19. Today this issue happened again. I got a msg saying my subscription is due on 7th jul whereas it suppose to expire on 29th jul 19. My current subscription was bst + start sport 2 (Rs 130.16 + rs 6 + gst) total is rs 136+18%gst = rs 160.48 per month. But i found multiple channels activated on 05th jul 19 automatically which costs rs 1243.5 per month.

          Star sport (Channel number 403) was activated on 26th jun 2019.

          I dont know why this is happening again and again.

          Do i need to check my account balance on daily basis to check whether some services are activated automatically?

          Something wrong with Videocon D2h. Everything was sorted and today Star Sport 2 was unsubscribed automatically. Then I subscribed manually via my account online .

          I can see the request number[protected] is resolved but my balance for 3 days since (26 Jul to 29 Jul) Start Bharat was activated is not yet refunded. I request you to refund that amount and make sure there should not be any automatic subscription (doesn't matter whether its free or not) happen without my intimation.

              Worst service ever I have seen by any DTH service provider. I too agree that Videocon d2h is intentionally not provided their toll free customer care no. And if provided than the call mostly not connected, if connected then they put on hold for long hours and automatically disconnect the call. Overall doesn't care for their customers.
              I have selected for multiroom connection services provided by d2h from more than a month. For connection it require 24 to 48 hour but instead of that from more than a month they are not able to give me the multiroom connection and playing with an existing customer emotion, money and time.
              Everytime I have given request and complain soo many time, more than 50 times but without the customer concern they cancel the request by concerned engineer so many times and complaint without informing the customer. Some of the time customer put the receiver on and not responding to anything and singing song in background.
              I just want to ask for video on d2h customer are we a beggars for them??
              I want from TRAI to take strict action against d2h so that they don't dare to play with customers money and time.

              Are you kidding?? Or trying to act smart??your videocon d2h customer service ask several time for multiroom connection and I said several time yes from may 29 2019 to till today.. They said tmrrw ur request and complaint will be resolve and u have not done yet.. Shamelessly put a blame on me i disconnect the call... From past 4 days... Videocon customer d2h service ask me for connection and I said yes 4 times.. What else u want to need confirmation?? From 2 days they book the connection and said within 24 hours we will give u the service.
              Go thru the attached screenshot and i[censored] want I can share how many times I call your customer care service and get harassed for no reason..

                Videiocon company not giving relay service and saying pay for relay why then why taking subscription. I am the very old customer and paying regularly in advance and nothing is payable but inspite of our no complaint record now the call centre at complaint cell informs to deposit for doing the needful under the circumstances i am liable to claim the benefit for non relaying and mental harassement. if the matter did not resoslve then the matter may be put under arbitration. thanks

                    I have ordered videocond2h on 27/06/2019 and today is 03/07/2019 still my installation has not done as per company T&C installation need to be done within 48 hours. I have called several times to customer care they are simply disconnecting my call after the conversation and fake commitments from customer care representative

                      I have installed independent d2h tv in October 2018.after few Months service thay fully stopped to broadcast all channels since 13 June 2019.i have made complaints many times to independent tv customer care.everytime they they said wait 7-8 days the service shall me restart, there is a technical issue.plz take proper against it.we can't access any news, entertainment etc.its harassing.

                        I selected pay channels as per trai guidelines (Cust id is[protected]. But it is found that ndtv india (Ch. No 305) is in my package list where as it has not been selected by me. D2h is forcing us to view ndtv india and not following trai order.

                        I also contacted videocon d2h customer support to raise complaint, but they are taking complaint against above matter.

                        Further i also like add that the channel is not a part of promotion also since it is not stopping after few minute.

                          11. What if annual subscription charges are paid by a subscriber in advance?
                          In case a subscriber has availed any scheme with advance charges paid for future lock-in period like an annual plan the distributor shall continue to provide services for such committed period without any increase in price / charges and without altering the other terms of subscription. The distributors cannot make any changes that entails any disadvantage to the subscriber in such cases.
                          It is therefore be requested to enhance subscription period from nine months to one year with immediate effect unless i ll be forced to approach trai for its resolution. You already harass and torturer me lot for the last one week when i am going to lodge my complaint on ivr you made me to hold my call for one hour on the pretext to check my complaint and discussing the matter with senior's and thereafter gave a time bound time and date to resolve but no avail. The complaint no's which you have given to me as[protected],[protected],[protected] and through your web site are 4779206 and 4787500 which are not resolved till today

                          This complaint i had made there after i am regularly reminded them for its resolution but they are just ignoring me also not comply with regulation set by trai in this regard.in all such process which lasting for ten days i am being torched and humiliated a lot while kept me for one hour and more to hold call while complaining on their ivr in pretext to consult the matter with their senior's. They also adopt a strategy that not to reply in shape message as a document, they just call back and assured that they taking the matter with the senior's but no avail till today. I humbly requested to take a stringent action and impose a heavy plenty on them for their this kind of act so that in future they must think well before violating and humiliating any customer.

                          Since more than 48hours has been past but they did not respond me as they call me to post latest development in this regard.They just apprise me that they are not abide by the rules framed by TRAI and not going to review or resolve my complaint further .I request them to post all what your decision but from the very first day they avoid to plead in writing always they call me and argue on the issue .Please tell what would be my next action. as they are not willing to reslove the complaint.

                          It seems to be monopoly of d2h that they did not bother any rule regulation as they have no fear of any action. Now they are not responding towards my complaint rather than to resolve they are now sending me their promotional message . What action being taken by TRAI in this regard, please do inform me.

                          I mentioned the TRAI order's in this regard (A cut and paste copy straight from their web site) .How you justify yourself in according to mentioned TRAI order's which clearly state that in advance subscription you can not alter either amount or period. How you migrated my package which is clearly contradict the TRAI order's which clearly clarify that there would no migration in advance subscription. The only difference in your clarification and order's of TRAI IS WORD MIGRATION ANHD CHANGE . As you refer in your comment word migrated which means change. Again to brought in your kind notice the following TRAI order's.

                          It is obvious that you are not going to resume validity of my package for which I had paid in advance as per your convenience as it was your offer to be posted on your web site and it was undoubtedly well calculated moreover you accepted it and committed to fulfill .But later in order to extract more money as per your attitude making absurd comments to prove your maladjustment correct. As I tried my best to convinced you for your irrelevant act of reducing the period of my package . But still you are not ready to resolve it .Don't think I will give up to all your humiliation, giving me mental harassment.                           tHE FOLLOWING GUIDE LINES OF TRAI CLEARLY CLARIFY THAT THERE WIIL BE NO CHANGE IN TARRIF AS WELL AS IN VALIDITY IF CUSTOMER DO NOT WANT CHANGE ITS PREPAID PACKAGE
                          New DTH plans from tomorrow, Trai says pre-paid long-term packs will not be cancelled
                          DTH operators have been asked to honour pre-paid commitment on ongoing long-duration packs
                          All subscribers will have to migrate to the new mechanism from tomorrow. According to Trai guidelines, TV services may be disrupted in case a consumer doesn’t make the shift. However, the rules require the DTH operators to honour pre-paid commitment on ongoing long-duration packs, if customer wishes to continue with them.
                          "Where customers have already exercised their choice and decided to move to the new framework, if they have long or short duration packs, it (the payment made) will get adjusted. In those cases where people have not yet migrated and they have a long or short duration plan already on, the regulation clearly states that customers have the choice to continue with it, till the plan expires, " Trai chairman RS Sharma had told PTI recently. He said the right to choose - whether to continue with ongoing long duration pack till its expiry, or migrate to the new regime and have the balance adjusted - will remain with the customer.

                            My self customer of videocon D2H wants to bring to your notice that this company is not providing me bill for the subscription that i chose. WHY i don't know ?

                            for same yesterday i call there customer care center and asked for the copy of current month bill, but was totally "shock" to know that they don't have such kind of facility to provide bill to customer. As government say you should ask for the bill from small to small trader to stop "TAX CHORI" but these are BIG.

                            I think could be a big scam of "DTH OPERATORS " could be in crores "if they pay GST to government than why are they not giving bill to their customers". it brings some doubt in the mind of customers. I don't asked them for hard copy but at least they can send mail to the customers mail id.

                            They might be having a very large no. of customers and may be showing few to the government for TAX. so not giving or providing bill to the customers
                            and taking amount from customers telling them that they include GST but Actually not paying TAX to government.

                            I have also came to know that many customers complaint them for instrument which they provide but does not give bill. Why ?

                            So, sir i think it is a big issue. and if my doubt is real it will be a big" DTH OPERATORS SCAM"

                            I am not saying or blaming only about 1 there are many DTH Company which may be following same practice with their customers.

                            I hope that if there is any such kind of scam it will be solved and the lose that government is facing will be cure.

                              Hi trai,

                              I am using videocon d2h past 4 years. Yesterday[protected] i recharged rs 400 for july month. After successfully recharged i switch on tv, but got signal is not available issue. So i contacted customer care for reboot the signal. They tried but got same issue. Today[protected] technical support person came to my house to check the signal strength and he said, we need to shift the dish antenna. I replied to him i will discuss and inform you. Two months before also i got same issue, that time technical support person came to fix the issue. That time i paid amount rs 200 for fix the issue. Today also i paid rs 200 for came to check the signal strength but issue is not fixed. If we shift the location of dish antenna for that we need to pay rs750. So what i decided to cancel my recharge and immediately inform to customer care executive. They didn't give proper response. So i asked them to give manger number, they gave, i called but he didn't pick the call. His name is rajasekar[protected]. Technical support contact number - [protected].

                              Now i want cancel my recharge and i need my money back. I want to change other provider.

                              So trai i kindly request you to resolve the issue and i need my money back.

                                      I have recharged my videocon d2h account recently for an amount of rs.253/- and selected alacarte channel and paid the money shown for the selected channels +ncf+tax. But later i received message that i am charged for an amount of rs.482. When i asked customer executive that 2 additional package has been added to my account. When i asked them to remove it, they are telling it is locked and can remove after 28 days.
                                      Kindly stop this videocon from making such fraud work for taking additional money from the customers.
