I hold a videocon d2h account (Customer id[protected] for last 5 years with subscription of a platinum hd combo pack. Being out of my hometown i didn't recharge my account for almost an year. On june 13 after recharging my account for rs. 725, i found some error (E30-4, mentioning validation of smart card) and couldn't see any channel. But the account was updated and balance started getting deducted. After few phone calls and emails, d2h tried to resolve the issue, sending some commands from their end. But those didn't work, rather my stb started hanging. Finally they decided to send a technical staff, who asked me for stb replacement. After the stb replacement the basic service resumed but i found the package was changed without my consent. After enquiry i was informed that due to tri regulations my package was changed to a base package. Then i requested to switch my package to platinum hd again without mentioning any add ons. But even after the request i was unable to see channels like star sports. I again contacted d2h, they again sent some command (In between i had a argument with the 24*7 customer care when they asked me to call on next day as their server was down), finally i was able to enjoy the service (Only after 10 days of recharge). Already balance of 10 days was deducted by that time.
Again on the same day (June 24) my service was disconnected showing low balance (Due the the replacement of stb, balance was deducted). So i recharged my account with rs. 500 but there was no service after that. I called 24*7 customer care, after trying for several times when i managed to talk with the executive, they told they will send some command again. Even after that service failed to resume. On contacting customer care i was informed due to system issues they can't check anything at that point and asked me to call on next day.
Till that point, i communicated everything with d2h via email, including poor customer care issues. But from that point i asked them to justify the poor service and compensation/ refund for not having proper service for more than 10 days (When they deducted the money from my account without delivering the service).
After an email included all previous details, on 25th june my service resumed.
But a lot remain unanswered, including why i had to pay for those days when d2h couldn't provide service to me.
After that i had calls from executives from d2h, unfortunately some of them were unaware about my previous emails. But they don't wnat to admit their failure. While having a discussion about the present package cost i found some add ons were activated against my account which i never requested for. I shared screenshots from my previous email showing that only platinum hd combo was activated against my request. But still they are claiming about false add on activation requests from my side.
Overall in last two weeks i was really harassed by the poor customer service. I paid but couldn't enjoy service in time. Add on etc were included in my package without my permission. Overall behaviour of the d2h representatives were poor quality.

    Dear sir,
    On 18.06.2019 i have logged into my d2h account through my customer id where i found there advertisement "get 1 month free on 3 months long term recharge". My customer id is[protected]. I recharged my d2h with this offer. When i have clicked on the amount the offer was showing me eligible.

    After 2 days of recharge when i checked my account again through there website log-in my validity was not as per the offer. I have put this matter on their customer care mail id. I told them that i did this recharge only after seeing your advertisement if this offer was not valid for me then why it was shown to me? Now if you can not provide me this benefit then refund my recharge amount and disconnect my services as previous stage.

    Now each time some another person is replying on my mail. 1st day i got reply that the offer was there which was not applicable for me.
    2nd time some another person replied that there was no such offer in there website and if there was any such offer i should take screen shot of the same to show them.

    My concern in such situation is -
    1. If said offer was not applicable on me then why it was shown on my log-in in there recharge section.
    2. If it was happen by mistake then what constrains are stopping them to refund my money.
    3. Why customer care persons are talking in such manner that screen shot should be taken n all.
    4. Customer care service mechanism is completely fail to address customers complaints. No escalation matrix is there to put my concern to some higher authority.

    Whatever i have wrote in this complaint is based on my discussion with customer care persons of d2h through my e-mail. I can provide pdf file of conversation if required.

    I request you to kindly look into the matter and provide me solution on the same. I am not demanding any higher amount then my own amount which i have paid to them.

    Dear Sir, Today I have got comment from Videocon D2h on my complaint. Then I logged into my D2h account and checked my validity. Before complaint it was till 23rd September and now it has been 15th October. Before my complaint I got several calls from videocon customer care and they were no more interested with my issue and giving me illogical comments. Thanks a ton to you team for your efforts towards helping so many consumers like me.

      From last 48 hours i have called customer care no of videocon D2H more than 25 time to add and activate 5 channels as i was not able to do the same from Videocon D2H official web sight.
      But whenever i called the customer care no they are telling me they have added my requested channels and to keep my set top box in on condition for 15 mins so that the requested channels could get activated. but the channels are not getting activated. after Several arguments from last 24 hours they have finally raised the complaint at 11am on 26.06, 2019 COMPLAINT NO[protected] stating that my problem will be resolved by 7.33 pm on the same day. But as there was no progress from their side again i called several time to know the status of my complaint. Again they are telling the same story that they will add and activate the requested channels but there is no solution from there side.
      Fed up of their reply i have asked them to transfer the call to their senior but they kept on telling his no is busy and i should wait till they connect the call and made me to wait for 15 to 20 mins on line till they transfer the call. they have not transferred the call saying the seniors line is busy.
      At last after more than 20 calls again i was able to talk to the senior supervisor and asked him regarding my compplaint no[protected] and he was unable to solve the issue and before resolving the old complaint he has raised another complaint bearing no[protected] and now it will be resolved by 30th june 2019 by 4 pm.
      I am really fed up from Worst service of Videocon D2h and request you to intervene form your side to resolve the issue immediately on top priority.

        My pre-selected mera wala plan was rs. 261/-, on 16/06/2019 i recharged my videocon d2h account by 100 rs. But it not work, therefore i recharged my account by rs. 261/- i. E. Total recharge done at rs. 361/-. But still i could not see my pre - selected channels, i called customer care and again recharged star package i. E. Rs. 49/month., customer executive said this package amount will be deducted from my account which was rs. 361/-. Next day no any channels from star package as well as mera wala plan was running on my tv. Again called customer care executive, he said combo pack is activated on your account. Which have total amount of rs. 485/-. I rigorously tried to contact customer care executive but they not replied me properly. I also tried to view mera wala plan details by mobile application i. E. D2h infinity, but there is no any provision to view our plan details. I requesting you to please view in matter and take an appropriate action for that.

          Dear sir,
          My grievance is regarding the abrupt discontinuation of d2h services which is owned by videocon group.my d2h id is[protected].with repeated requests and complaints, the service provider has utterly failed to redress my grievance.this irresponsible, callous and careless behaviour on the part of service provider expresses their poor and incompetent consumer redressal system.i lodged my complaints vide no.[protected] and
          another no.[protected] while the third complaint is[protected].but every time the version of the service provider as the cause of discontinuation was varied and unsatisfactory with the assurances of the restoration of services within prescribed time limit, but all in vain.all messages regarding every transaction are stored in my phone inbox.lastly I decided to take the matter before you so that I can enjoy the d2h services.you are requested to summon the faulty service provider and ask the cause of discontinuation of service and issue the appropriate orders as the authority may deem fit.

            There are very poor signal service in my area so i complained[protected] on 16.0.19. Their technician visit and told "poor signal issue dishantena have to relocate but i have not driil machine now so come next day". On 26.06.19 my d2h account shown insufficient balance. I called their toll free no.[protected]. On 9:32 and informed about problem. They said that my d2h account is debited by rs.200 for technician visit charge. I said that technician was not provided their service and promise to visit again. How can you close my complaint and debit my account without my intimation. I want my 200/-in my account. They assure me and send a message on 09:41am with complaint no.[protected] and my issue will resolve till wednesday june 26, 2019.06:00pm. I called again on 01:23pm and1:29 pm and confirmed about refund. After waiting till 08:00pm when my account was not refunded then i called them agin on 07:51pm and 0759pm but their representative told me to talk with supervisor and disconnect the call. My customer id[protected]. This is very very worst service please help me they always do this. Since i am a diabetic and they give me stress and agony.

                  My connection number is[protected] and it was in deactivation status for a month or so. When i logged in to videocon d2h website on 30 th may 2019 to recharge, i found an offer for 3 months recharge where 30 additional days will be free. Hence i recharged rightaway.

                  Post that i have noticed that additional 30 days is not provided to me. I have spoke with the customer care several times, but no proper response and they are claiming that the offer ends by 15th may itself. If the offer ends as they confirm, it shouldnt have shown to me when i did the recharge. This seems like cheating the customer with false offer displaying in their website.

                  I have also sent a mail to videocon customer care. They are asking me to share the shreenshot of the offer which i saw on 30th may 2019 in their website. This makes no sense. Do you think customer will take screenshot before doing eact recharge. Then i replied to that mail with my views. Post that they did not reply to me at all. Such an irresponsible customer care.

                    Dear Trai,

                    I am a Videocon d2h user with customer id [50536262]. Since the last 8 years and from last 1 month, I am facing a no. Of issues regarding services of Videocon d2h, which includes wrong add-on activation, frequent unfair balance deductions and making a false commitment.

                    First Complaint:-

                    I have lodged a complaint on 6th June 2019 for my dish is broken and at the same time, I made a recharge of Rs 750 on my Id, after lodging complaint I didn’t take the complaint no.

                    Second Complaint:-

                    Again I lodged a complaint on 20th June 2019 for my dish is broken, but they registered differently for Signal Weakness and the complaint No is[protected], they informed there Engineer will be Visiting my house at the earliest, (No Engineer visited )

                    Third Complaint:-

                    Again I have to lodge a complaint on 21th June 2019 for my dish is broken, the complaint No is[protected], they informed there Engineer will Visit my house, (No Engineer visited)

                    Fourth Complaint No:[protected]

                    Today 24th June 2019, when I called them their Representative Miss Savita answered me that Engineer visited my house and I refused to pay him the amount, that’s why, they have closed my complaint, after listening to them, I demand her to provide me with the Name and Mobile No for that Engineer, so that I can ask him when and what time he visited my house, She refused to provide me with the details and their Representative Miss Savita shutdown the line without acknowledging me. (Call Recording is Attached for your reference)

                    But the fact is No Engineer visited my house and they have closed my complaint without informing me, I want to ask them is it correct? The complainer is not aware of his complaint is sorted out or closed; it’s Videocon D2h part of the duty to inform the client or ask the complainer, whether their complaint is solved or not, are they satisfied with them?

                    Fifth Complaint No:[protected]

                    The fresh incident is regarding my recharge of Rs 750 done on 6th June 2019 for which I should get service, but they have deducted the balance from my account, I questioned them for what they have deducted the money If I am utilizing their service then only I have to pay, why they have deducted my money for no reason?

                    After all the above Scenario, I requested them to Shutdown my service permanently, for this also they didn’t agree, I want to save my money which is a balance in my account, the moral bottom line is if I have to pay them for installing and for new dish why I should go with them.

                    There are a lot of options in the market, I hope my complaint will be considered seriously and will be solved at your earliest,
                    My demand is I need the Name & Contact No of the Engineer and the second is whatsoever amount is deducted from my account it must be refunded to my account.
                    I hope my matter will be treated on a top priority basis, Waiting for your earliest response,

                      Almost 100 times called to customer care regarding channel activation on my secondary connection but no one is there to activate this. Even i sent mail to customer care but no response from their end. When i mentioned i don't want this connection please refund my amount they are saying that there is no policy for this. They are not doing activation as well as not going to refund my amount

                          I lodged a complaint against the unavailability of signals for few channels (Star sports 2, star sports 1 hindi, star sports 3, sony ten 1, ten 2, ten 3, sony six, sony espn, sony mix) in my bouquet on 17/06/2019. I watched these channels seamlessly till 16th of june 2019 on the ind vs pak match. But on 17th the channels were not being shown, although other entertainment and movies channles are being shown. I have been caliing to the customer care daily from 17th june till today and i get the same response that the engineer visit will happen soon. But still there is not a single progression or positive sign in this! They automatically closed my complaint without resolving it, which i got to know today. So i complained again today (Complaint no.[protected] and the agent said she has opened another complaint with a new number. This is ridiculous and frustrating! It has been a week and there is not a single response from the engineer who needs to come and look out on my dish antenna which has some problem. There is an uncertainty if anyone would come to repair or not! I request here to please escalate the issue and resolve it within 24 hours, as my money which i have paid to watch the channels is being wasted..

                            I had complain regarding no signal from 12 june 2019 still it was not attended by company. They only give false commitment to customer. Very poor service need to actions on it. On 12 th june first complain they told me it will resolve 96 hours. The complaint not respond by authority. Second complaint register on 16 june. Same things they not responding. Its very pathetic on third complain the discontinued my call wih no resolution.

                              One of the most pathetic service provider in the industry is VIDEOCON D2H. I have been using this id since long, but have never felt good anything about this services provider.
                              Today I have wasted my 2hours calling at customer care number and neither of them are able to provide me solutions, moreover every time they disconnect my calls.
                              I’m mentally harassed and frustrated by the entire Videocon customer care team. I have attached all the calls recording in my mail.

                              Complain :

                              I have recharged my services on 25th March’19 for the three months subscription, in which I get 3 months + 7 days free as an offer.
                              Now as per the period cycle, my next recharge should come around 2nd July’19. But, all of the sudden I started receiving the reminder messages to recharge on 15th June’19.
                              I immediately called upon the customer services number and inquired about it. They said 200rs balance was been deducted for Technical Visit charges. I explained them, your engineer
                              have taken cash from me 200rs. then how could you deduct that amount again, so they logged an complain under complain number –[protected]. And I was assured that will be resolved
                              in 24hrs. But, they simply fooled me with giving 3 days of just grace period and again reminder started for recharge on 18th June’19. Since today morning I’m trying to explain my issue to
                              the customer services representative they are not at all aware about the process, half of the time my calls are been transferred from here to there and then disconnect the line.
                              One call which I was having an conversation lasted for 1 hour. After that call automatically gets disconnected. Then I tried to find out the same guy whom I was talking too, neither of the
                              Executives were able to find that guy. Please listen to this call recordings you will realize how they fool and cheat innocent CUSTOMERS. On one side, technician who visited took money
                              And on other side this people also deducted my balance. Its open SCAM.

                                I have recharged my d2h account for 6 months ( rupees 2289) by logging in to my d2h account. I recharged this amount from my paytm wallet. Paytm confirmed that, the amount is successfully transferred d2h and amount is also deducted from my paytm wallet. But, the amount is not credited to my recharge account. Paytm asked me to share written confirmation form d2h that they have not received the payment so that, they can action from their end. But, d2h customer care is so unresponsive and not showing any resolution. whenver I lodge a complaint I am a getting message within 24 hours that it has been resolved. I have raised complaints 3 times now within a span of 3 days but, no resolution. my amount is neither credited back to my paytm wallet nor credited to my recharge account. I am really vexed up with the kind response that I am getting from customer care. They don't even connect me to their supervisor/s saying that, they are not available. I even wrote a mail to Nodal office Sateesh even he has not responded till today. It's been 3 days I am not aware where my money has gone.

After completion of 4 days my problem didn't solved and nobody did not contact with me in this matter.                                       My registered customer id is 66650143.
                                      I have recently changed my set top box for which I was supposed to be charged Rs. 450/- ( 200 engineer visit & 250 for box) but they have charged me 200 /- extra for no reason . and it has simply got deducted from my next recharge .
                                      After calling up customer care they have assured me to credit it within 24 hours but that did not happen again after calling next day I talked to some senior person over there may be his name was Mr. Rana Pratap who assured me that by sunday 9/6/2019 10.40 am amount will reverted which has not happened .
                                      My original complaint no was[protected] on 6/9/2019 and next complaint no. was[protected] on 7/6/2019 .

                                      I need to know what is the reason why my amount is not getting credited to my account inspite of complaining twice . I dont think videocon has any customer value as they simply charging extra to customer and its such frustrating thing for customer that they have to waste so much time in calling and following up with customer care who simply gives false promises .

                                      I want immediate credit of Rs. 200/- to my account and if that doesnt happen then I will put complaint in consumer forum regarding this.

                                      This was my first email and then there is another one because of their poor reply from person name gaurav kapoor of d2h ..

                                      Second email is as follows :
                                      bcz i have been charged twice for engineer charge.. cant you people read my mail properly and check in your systems that engineer has visited only once to my place and replaced my set top box .. as cash was not available i recharged my ac with 450 rs. which got debited on 15.5.19 but there is another charge as customer care has informed me on 11.5.19 of 200 rs. which is incorrect as no engineer has visited before for my earlier complaint.. so how come this 200 rs. is charged??
                                      you people are simply giving false replies without looking into matter seriously..
                                      dont loot customer s money..

                                      Infact i have contacted again to customer care again during this time ..and at this time some senior person called parvinder talked to me and said again your money will be credited i am forwarding your complaint without giving me any proof of whether or what he has done exactly with this matter..

                                      I am fed up with this poor and irresponsible customer care of d2h as i had to again recharge my account twice because of low balance .

                                      I want strict action against videocon d2h for deducting money wrongly and not taking customers complaint also seriously and i want immediate credit of rs. 200/- in my account .
