i think your are doing good for youself but you are not doing good with the client and customer. actaully issue is that i lost hdfc credit card few days back and i blocked that through customer care due that i unable to proceed the payment of credit card, i got the call from hdfc, number are [protected], [protected], she was talking like hell, according to me you guys are hiring wrong person for the customer service, she was talking and behaving like literate, i said i lost my card so this the reason i was not able to pay ..but she is not ready to listen..saying agar aukat nahi hain to mat use karo..i said i ll pay soon ..saying you have to pay it by today ..called me through personal number start shouting, i said be relax she is saying that you are paying the bill in EMI and saying to be relaex..i never witnessed such a pathetic service, i giving you assurity to hdfc is that i already closed the credit card and i ll close my hdfc account aswell.

I had a terrible experience with HDFC bank. I was investing in different mutual funds using online payment via my HDFC account linked to my investment portal ID on Groww. I made a couple of MF purchases and for the next 2-3 MF purchases, HDFC bank portal blocked the transaction after entering correct user id and password. The message on screen was, a similar transaction was done a few moments back and we are blocking this transaction suspecting it to be a fraudulent transaction. A) This is a stupid logic. If the bank wants to prevent fraudulent transaction, they should implement additional authentication such as additional OTP or something. SBI does it and it works well. Secondly, the money was still transferred to the exchange but a failure message was sent to Groww. Hence I did not get the M[censored]nits to my credit but the amount is debited from my account. Thus, I also lose the investment opportunity at that time. B) Why the bank deducted the money but sent a failure message to Groww? This is not end of the story. The money does not get credited to my account also even after 2-3 days. So C) Apparently, HDFC is not able to implement a transaction mechanism where either the money is debited and I get my M[censored]nits or the money is not debited at all. D) I have to log a ticket by calling HDFC customer service. Who initially decline to log a ticket and consume 24 minutes of my time. Upon telling them that I will be recording my conversation from my side and escalating to all possible levels, they do me a favor of logging ticket number 21503737. The ticket is called a "Request" not a support ticket. In 2 days I get a call from the bank mentioning that the amount is transferred to the exchange and the exchange will refund it in due course. But they decline to provide any confirmation in mail or as a response to the ticket. In any IT support providing a written response is a mandatory practice. But may be not for HDFC bank because they considers customer complaints as "Requests"? I am not sure. The next day I get an SMS that this ticket is closed. Again, no updates of the investigation done and findings to help me as a customer to follow up with Groww. So, I have to log tickets separately with Groww. When they ask for updates from the bank, all I can provide is a bank statement! Now another experience, on 23rd August, there's a sudden debit in my account mentioning ICCL WR CR REVERSAL. But the orignal entry which credited my account is nowhere seen in my account statement. Then where does this "Reversal" debit come from? I visit HDFC bank branch. They provide an answer "This must be related to some MF transaction reversal". But are not able to find out themselves which Credit transaction has been reversed. So once again I have to run from pillar to post, spend half an hour log with HDFC bank IT support to a "Request" and wait for their benevolence to get some verbal information!
Sorry, HDFC bank. My time is also important. Hence, I am done with you. I changed my netbanking to SBI and will be closing whatever FDs I have with you. Incidentally I also hold a few bank equity shares and see why other banks are performing better and why HDFC stock is not faring so well. This is my first-hand experience. I have much better experience with ICICI netbanking also.

    Kindly explain what is this.

    I have not taken any home loan from any bank.

    I am afraid they woul deduct any money from my account? Please look into this matter urgently. Many thanks.

          I am not at all interested in one assist services. This service was cancelled by me long back. But still, the amount 1399/- is deducted from my credit card.

                Sir,

                I had received phone message from bank that your settled amount is 24000 and you have to pay in 2 shots, but still from last one year i have not received the settlement letter from bank. As a result i have not paid the settled amount rs 24000. Now the bank is putting the interest on the balance amount and asking again for settlement. They are threatening me that i will take legal action against me. I have the proof also that i send mail to the concerned team for settlement, but they have not responded on my mail.

                    My card no last four digit is 6699.
                    From last three month I am trying to get my all purchasing bills or segregates bill from hdfc bank against my card no .They never send me bills .
                    I already visited personally in local branch in patna however I called customer care toll free no but they all are refuse to help me for getting my bills
                    I also pay as posssible money against my card no suddenly hdfc company employee called me on my no [protected] to pay 50000
                    It's not fair so want my all bills from starting to till today without intrest or late fee charges

                      I have hdfc bank account number [protected] and ifsc hdfc0001631 i have a negative balance 8000 due to place shift and surgery health problem i am unable to go to branch and close the account now the negative balance reached 8000 my branch manager refused to waiveoff the negative balance i had a same issue with the icici but they closed my bank account without any issue not taken single penny i am surprised why hdfc is behaving this much rude and cruel on middle class customers i want to close my account immediately or waive off the amount so i can continue the same account hdfc please respond on this and i am aware that rbi issues notice not to charge penality on customers for non maintannce of required minimum balance

                          Cancellation of one assist membership
                          I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank sent me an email of one assist auto renewal plan of rs.1399. Dated 08/02/2019. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership before it gets renewal.                             Hello,
                            I have pathetic experience with hdfc bank solitaire credit card.
                            First they told me that there is no annual fee when i had telephonic conversation with me. Then they debited rs.590 as annual membership fee in july 2018. Next comes the highlight of the episode.
                            During september 2018, they have deducted a sum of rs.1899 with a description 'one assist mfee'. I have no idea how this was happened. Due to some health issues i could not check the statement. During this time, some one called me for credit card bill payment. I was surprised by this call and told them that i didnt even activate my credit card. I asked them for details of transactions i have done. They just wanted me to pay the bill. I told my father to visit the branch for information. They just told that it was some insurance and there is no help from bank end. How can hdfc expect me to pay bill without proper explanation? But they want my father to pay the bill for some unwanted transaction.

                            Just recently i have seen my last 4 months statement. After deducting this amount, they have started debiting rs.540 as late fee. Without using the card, there is an outstanding bill of rs.4818. Who is responsible to pay this bill?

                            I didnt use my credit card till now after card issued. I never wanted one assist mfee service. For this transaction they are charging late fee. I want you to payback all the charges that were effected on my card. Iam not demanding unlawfully. You failed to explain me about the transaction done without my knowledge and keep sending statements with late fee charges.

                              Sub: failure of payment made through your gateway on 02.08.2018 for an amount of rs.4288.00

                              I made a payment on line to tneb (Tamil nadu electricity board) for rs.4288.00 through my standard chartered bank credit card no.[protected] through your payment gateway towards eb bill under consumer no.[protected] in my name.

                              The transaction reference number is 75503728215021840023854. (The amount debited to my card account is rs.4333.03)

                              Unfortunately the payment was not through and the amount has not been received by tneb till date.

                              First i represented to the standard chartered bank and thereafter to tneb. While scb maintains that they have duly paid the amount to tneb, tneb have confirmed that the amount has not been received by them but there appears to be an attempt through hdfc gateway to make the payment which was not successful.

                              Hence now i am now submitting my request to you to kindly go through your records, trace the payment and arrange for refund of the same to me at the earliest.

                              Kindly condone the delay in bringing the matter to your notice.

                                I have seen the following charges in my hdfc salary account.

                                1. Hdfc has started charging once every quarter

                                2. Inst-alert chg inc gst oct-dec2018-mir[protected] charging for an instant alert for the account. When opening the account they mentioned that this service was free and now they are charging

                                They should inform the customer before charging. You cannot hold the customer at ransom.

                                I am not sure how to resolve this please advice...

                                  Last year I received the following email stating that my limit has been revised. I did not receive any SMS for the revision of my limits. I received this email after nearly 10 days after revising my limit.
                                  You can go through my repayment records prior to this period. By the time my limit was reduced I have spent around Rs 22000/-. So I have been charged for excess credit limit.
                                  When the call center people called me asking for repayment, they raised one more issue-- that I am not eligible for credit card. I have been working as a consultant for Rs 30000/- per month. The call center fellow told me that my take home works to Rs 3500/- and asked how I got the card?
                                  1. My question is why HDFC issued card if I am not eligible?
                                  2. HDFC employees give away card to increase their points.
                                  3. When I told these points, he started abusing me and threatened me .
                                  4. I have been in out of employment for the last one year.
                                  5. In spite of that I have managed to repay my credit card dues.
                                  6. Now the last month minimum due was Rs800/- and that has been added to this month statement and the amount due is Rs2846/-.
                                  7. I have been receiving calls from call center to pay Rs 800/-. If I pay the amount Rs 800/- now, the payment window in HDFC site will close and will open only after I receive the next month bill, there again increasing my due s and levying fines for not paying on time. So I told them I will pay by next month beginning once my salary is credited.
                                  8. To this they are not accepting. There again individual point come into play-- if they persuade and threaten any customer to pay and if he pays, it increases the call center fellows credibility.--- This is my view.
                                  9. Once my salary is credited i will pay half my dues and in next month salary I will pay the remaining.
                                  10. I have been paying fines for issues created by HDFC employees.-- hope you can understand this.

                                  After that Kindly cancel my card.

                                    I am central govt employees working as Assistant Section Officer in department bof Commerce with monthly salary of Rs. 65000. I joined office 3 years back and have no credit card till date. I have applied for HDFC regalia first through bankbazaar with all required documents but my application got rejected. The executive gave reply that my pincode 110059 is in HDFC blackclisted area. I don't understand how can an area be Blavklisted. Is this not discrimination based on region. How can the bank justify this policy.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have paid all dues and my Visa HDFC Credit card ending 9598 was already blocked/closed by HDFC then why you peoples are sending me credit card statement. I had paid full payment in the Month of December 2018 after that you had send me due amount that also paid in January 2019 before due date. Now you have again send me statement for due date 06/02/2019. I am unable to contact customer care and transaction through credit card then why you are sending me statement. You people had lot of cheating with me I am very disappointed with HDFC Bank dealing, charged unnecessary extra from. I am your very old customer and behave by HDFC did wrong with me. I have send many mail but no response/action taken by HDFC for unnecessary charges.

                                      Kindly check your record and stop sending statement other I will go to legal.

                                        I have taken credit card from hdfc bank in the year 2018, without my consent one assist membership was deducted from credit card. Now for 2019 i don't want that service anymore. So i request the bank authorities or credit card service concerned to cancel my one assist membership for which i will be thankful to you.
