We had to undergo the following from airline for travel from delhi to bangalore on 03.09.2018
The flight number was 6e2963.
Complaint 1.
The airline never informed us about the change in terminal and no sms was sent.
The terminal change was shifted from 1d to t2.
The travel time was 30 minutes between terminals and we had to rush with senior passengers and had to pay twice for airport fees or others. The discomfort was caused to the group of 11 people include 3 wheel chair senior passengers above 72 years old and 5 children and 4 adults.
Complaint 2.
When we got to the group check in one of the staff in charge mrs harderp was yelling at us right from the beginning of check in process at the counter, when we requested for free seats instead of paid seats which were only in a blocked status.
Her manager subroto did not have sufficient knowledge of how to override and issue the seats without cost which were available on 14 and 15th rows as confirmed by hardeep. Instead they demanded excess payment as per our blocking and said they could not change the same, thereby causing more harm to us in terms of waiting of senior passengers and children and also disrupting the check in of other passengers in the queue, without regard for anyone. Further when questioned harderp unnecessary came up with the idea of someone in the family standing behind was taking picture of her, causing further embarrassment and confusion on our already delayed trip due to improper information provided in change of terminals at delhi airport.
She threatened us that she would call cisf.
Finally we somewhat to convince her and other passengers convinced her there was nobody taking photos etc and we finally boarded the flight in such a hurry and after exhaustion caused to senior old passengers who were patients.
Complaint 3
On board the aircraft we saw very bad reactions from some unknown passengers and certain security people on board who were speaking inappropriately and in an indirect manner. We could find out that this was all the mischief from the ground staff hardeep and her manager at the airport.
We were not treated well and very bad hospitality from the airline.

We had much respect when we flew earlier.
Hope someone takes responsibility on these and call us and apologises for the trouble caused and compensate for the excess money and time spent.

    Respected sir,

    This is in regards to cancellation of ticket - pnr - uh6vhq, name of augustin sagar from cok-sharjah on 21st august. Fight was cancelled due to flood situation& cial airport closure.

    I made several calls to customer service and was given assurance that no money will be deducted from the original amount which is 171615. Now i learned that only 12315 is credited to the bank. Deduction of 485 is done

    And tried to e-boarding passes but there are free boarding seats are limited when all the seats have to allot what is the meaning of Rs. 200 charges for e boarding Please eliminate the charges, that is illegal charges and against the rules.

      Baggage was complete wet.
      I travelled from Delhi to patna on 3rd September 2018.
      After reaching Patna...while taking my baggage from the baggage counter 1 the bag is complete wet and their is no one to conplaint. Just I asked one of the indigo employee he told sorry and explained the reason behind the baggage wet. But we drop our baggage by keeping trust on the baggage security and trust. But this one is insane and really bad maintenance from the indigo side.

        Indigo has cancelled my flight from kochi to delhi on 16 aug 2018 due to water lodging, flight no 6e 6468 pnr zfkjwj. But till now indigo has not refunded my money, only mailed me that they refunded money on 15 aug 18. But after many conversations they have failed to give transaction id and transaction details about refund. They are arguing that transaction id not generated.
        Indigo is harassing me mentaly and economically. Their customer care exexutive are also behaving rudiously

        And my e-tickets were in my mobile and unfortunately internet lost my phone that time. Your Help Desk demanded Rs. 50 per Ticket to issue physical tickets. This is illegal and against the rules that is highly objectionable and should be abolished in future.

          I booked ticket from banglore to kochi and my flight was at 4pm sep 2. I was at airport by 3.10 it was very busy in the boarding pass printing que. So the satff asked us to take the machine by then we lost 10 mins. It showed flight closed in the the machine. We had to again to the long que. The staff told us you are on time. After reaching the counter they told we cant do anything please leave us. It was so cruel. It was clear that they were no people in flight so he purposefully put us to the next flight. It was exact business. Cruel indigo staffs.

We would like to inform you that check-in counter closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of flight and incase of a rush at counter our team tries to expedite the procedure. However, it is pertinent to note that reporting on-time is the passenger's sole responsibility. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. Since, our check-in counter was closed at the time of your reporting, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight. We look forward towards your understanding in this regard.

            Flight 6e5097 seat 22a pnr: ke56m2 15.15 flight: mumbai to delhi on sunday 2-9-18 passenger: amanda alice garoes-hill

            Dear sir/madam,
            I'm writing to complain about the excess charges i had to pay for luggage on the above flight.
            I am aware that i was allowed 7 kg hand luggage and 15kg in cargo.
            I accept that exceeded those free allowances.
            I weighed my luggage on uk weighing scales before i left (Which are very accurate).
            I've used these when i've travelled internationally, by emirates, ba and jet airways to name just a few and i've never been challenged.
            When i weighed my luggage at the hotel for this flight, it stated that my cargo as just slightly over 15kg and my hand luggage between 9 and 10 kg - nearer 9.
            At the airport, my cargo came to 15.1 and i believe my hand luggage was under 10 kg, so i was 25 kg altogether.
            I was prepared to pay for 3 kg extra.
            However, i was charged for 6 kg as my laptop bag was included in the weigh-in.
            This is not acceptable.
            I tried to challenge this but the staff refuse to hear my concerns, and made it clear i would be denied entry onto my flight if i didn't pay, so i had to pay inr 2, 400 and i attach my receipt.
            I then asked to speak to the manager.
            I had to make this request on numerous occasions, and eventually a female member of staff giving her name as ms pooja sanpat and stating she was the assistant manager on duty arrived.
            In vain, i tried to make my representations that it was unfair that i was being charged for my laptop and that i should be refunded for 3kg (Inr 1, 200).
            She refused.
            I referred her to your website and i attach the screen shot which clearly states that in addition to hand baggage, with no excess charges, one can take a small bag with a laptop which i did.
            So, indigo appears to be advertising one thing, and yet doing something else, which is very unsatisfactory indeed.
            Your staff are clearly not following company policy and appear to willingly financially exploit passengers at check in, when they know passengers have no alternative but to pay these changes or else lose their flight.
            As a uk citizen and oci holder, i find this practice utterly deplorable.
            This simply would not be tolerated in the uk, the us or europe and i find it most disappointing that a company such as yours indulges in such practices.
            It gives india a very bad name and does little to encourage international passengers to use your airline.
            Until yesterday, i'd had very good experiences with indigo and before i publicise my experience on social media and using my contacts both in the press in india and abroad, i feel it is only fair that i make you aware of the situation, so that you can remedy it.
            My remedy is the immediate refund of inr 1, 200.
            I do not feel that is unreasonable, as i simply followed your website guidance.
            I await your response within the next 7 days, failing which you leave me no alternative but to pursue this matter in the manner outlined above, which is not my preferred choice.
            Many thanks for your anticipated co-operation.
            I'm sure that once you have read the facts of the situation, you will be eager to resolve this matter and ensure that all your staff in future are fully knowledgable of the list of free items allowed on board your fights, in addition to hand luggage.

            I acknowledge your response of yesterday from your Twitter team.
            I am most disappointed with it.
            It's very clear that you've not read my initial complaint at all, as you appear to have completely missed the salient points, namely that on your website, it clearly and unequivocally states:

            Indigo will permit a customer to carry the following items, without charging any excess baggage charges.

            Underneath is a specified list of 10 items to be carried free of charge and under sub-heading (j), it states:

            A small bag containing laptop

            You have completely failed to address this point, which I made in my initial complaint of 3-9-18, and I did attach a copy of the screen shot from your website.
            I do so again for your ease of reference.
            I do not accept your explanation and would ask for this matter to be escalated to your supervisor, and for Indigo to provide a full response of why you feel that sub-heading (j) does not apply in my case, as it's my assertion that it does.
            I await your earliest response.

              Hi,
              I have been using indigo air services for almost a decade but what happened today was very disheartening. I booked my ticket from bangalore to raipur for 2 september 2018 and return from raipur to bangalore for 3 september 2018 pnr number - zjkv9k.
              As i stay in erode i took a night bus from erode to bangalore at reached bangalore airport at 6 am. I did checkin, gave my luggage to the counter and also have completed my security checking. Since i came by bus from erode to bangalore, i was feeling little sick i went to use rest room.in the meanwhile i got a call from your executive and he asked me to report within 1 mintue and it was around 7.20 at that time. I reached the counter by 7.21 but your executive didn't allow me enter. I begged like anything that it's very urgent i need to reach raipur as there was medical emergency but they didn't allowed me as i didn't arrive in 1 minute as asked by them.
              I just want to ask 1 simple question that if it was possible on indigo's part to search for my luggage and bring back the luggage which was already loaded in the flight why it was not possible on indigo's part to allow me to board the flight and attend my medical emergency in raipur as that would have taken much lesser time than searching and bringing back the luggage from the flight.
              As a valued customer of indigo from almost a decade, i request to take necessary action and do the needful.
              I will wait for your reply till i take any further action.

However, we hope you would understand we have to close our boarding gate 25 minutes prior to scheduled departure time to maintain on-time performance. We advise our passengers to keep enough time in hand and to report at least 2 hrs prior to avoid any last minute hassle. As you had reported after the boarding gate closure, our staff were unable to allow you onboard. Further, our staff offered you re-accommodation on the next available flight.                 Yesterday we have booked a shipment from patna to bangalore via ranchi u/awb no[protected]pc 10kg on flight 6e-485, but it doesn't reached at bangalore yet and patna staffs are saying it has been uplifted from patna and ranchi..

                Now bangalore staffs are not taking any serious action to search the shipment and the cargo desk no[protected]/03 is also not answering any calls..

                I need customer service help to search the shipment asap..

                The shipment contains stool sample of world health organization (Who)..

                  My parents can't walk, so i had booked the front seats.. Paid 600 rupees extra per seat and also arranged the (Wheel chairs) for them with indigo, after the confirmation of their tickets. Hence one of the so called the indigo air-hostess had taken money from other co passenger's and gave them my parents front seats number 1b & 1c from mumbai to hyderabad dated 27th aug 2018, departure @ 21:20, pnr: nk888u - 6e 234 to upgrade there seats. Indigo can't do such cheap service act... My parents are old and did not want to argue so kept quiet and sat on the uncomfortable seats on 5th row. Attached is my parents tickets, i need an explanation from you guys!

                    Welcome to indigo airlines!
                    Presented here are the details that refer to our offer of employment to
                    You in the role of ground staff. This is to be read in conjunction with
                    Your offer of employment dated september, 28, 2018.
                    Indigo airlines have a broad-banded, role and competency based structure and all roles are
                    Mapped on to 7 job levels.
                    1. Training period:
                    The training program would consist of classroom training and on-the - job training. The duration of the
                    Class room training would be purely based on business requirements. Your confirmation will be based on your positive
                    Contribution to the company’s objectives. Based on business requirement, period of training can be
                    Extended for a further period of six months or part thereof. Your continued employment with the
                    Company is subject to your meeting the qualifying criteria during and at the end of the training.
                    You will be eligible for a training performance - linked incentive (Tpi) which would range from 10% to
                    15% of the fixed gross salary, based on your performance in the training program that you would
                    Undergo. The details of this scheme will be communicated on your joining.
                    2. Probationary period and confirmation as a permanent employee:
                    You will be on probation for a period of 30 days after completion of your regular training and
                    Allocation to the unit. Please note all confirmations in the company can take place only on the 1st
                    Day of the month succeeding completion of probation period. Your confirmation as a permanent
                    Employee is subject to the terms and conditions included in the confirmation policy of the company.

                    3. Earned leave:
                    There would be only one type of leave, which is earned leave. During the 1st and 2

                    Probationary period as well as) of service, you would be eligible for 15 working days of leave per annum. The
                    Leave eligibility shall begin in the respective quarter of your joining the company. For example: if an employee
                    Joins the company in quarter three of the financial year[protected], his / her leave eligibility would start in
                    Quarter three of the financial year[protected]. For the purpose of leave credit quarter three of the financial year
                    [protected] will be considered as the first quarter. Please note that leave shall be credited on a pro-
                    Rated basis in the first quarter of the employee’s employment.

                      I had booked the flight online and had worst experience because of online portal it is completely misguides the user. I made a to and fro booking from hyd to raj and raj to bangalore with in same booking and also paid for 30 kgs excess baggage. I have also called customer care and also enquired if i could add extra allowance as per international rates at airport and answer was yes at that time. To my shocker after getting on to checkin counter i was told i need to pay for excess baggage as the payment was only made for rajamundry to banglore and not both ways. I was happy to pay the excess as per international guidelines for luggage to my shocker they asked me to pay as per domestic. I have requested to swap the payment i have made for return luagge allowance they denied. I spoke with all managers in hyderbad airport and reception and they said as it was online they couldn’t do anything and i have managed to call customer care after 1 hr of wait and discussion nothing happened and i finally ended up paying 6000 rs/- extra for nothing... I have spent almost 3-4hrs going to each of these desks and people.. None from airport base or customer care supported.. This is not the way to deal with international customers.. I am looking for a complete refund of 6000 rs/- that i have paid for the pain i have gone thru and misleading info i was given. I am unable to attach boarding pass and payment receipt but happy to share if airlines comes fwd..

                        I missed my flight bom-gau on 17/08/18 after check-in which is again very normal n regular indigo practice. After that i came to the counters to ask for my refund of 10800/- for excess baggages which they said they will refund on my card within 7 working days. Its been 14 days now and i still havenot got my money and i am calling them everyday and i still havent got the refund. Please help me out with this.

                          The check-in agent (Jerome thomas) mislead me by claiming my luggage was overweight by 10 kgs, i insisted him to check my ticket properly as it was booked by my company as a corporate ticket which gave me an extra 10 kgs, but the check-in agent didn't bother to check my ticket properly and resorted to using foul language which then turned into an heated argument, i got the customer service executive involved to sort this issue out as i was running out of time, the cse (Amerjeet kaur) again, did not perform the proper background checks and immediately claimed the luggage was overweight, i requested for a proper ticket check but to no luck. I was then told to book a new ticket on the next flight which was 3 hours from my current scheduled flight, where i had to shell out 3500 rupees more. Yogesh (Counter supervisor) then informed me saying that the previous check-in agent (Jerome thomas) did not check my ticket properly and there was no reason why i wasn't allowed on the previous flight, i was even denied the in-flight meal. I strongly believe this is an incident which could have been averted if the check-in agent or customer service executive would have done their job properly. This speaks of the incompetent nature of the team members at the delhi airport. I request a strong action to be taken against these agents and a reimbursement of the 3500 rupees. I am inclining towards filing a consumer complaint against indigo airline if this is not sorted.

                            I had booed a ticket in indigo on july 18 from coimbatore to chennai, the amount was 2139 rs while booking i tried to book the ticket in student offer 6e but the website said the offer is applicable only till july 31, but now they had extended the offer till december 31, as i had not informed it was a loss for me, so when i asked them to add the student offer to my ticked now they are not doing it, and they are asking me to cancel the ticket and book a new one with an cancellation fee of 1568rs which is totaly ridiculous, so please help me

                                My mother was travelling alone from New Delhi to bangalore. When she arrived at bangalore she didn't realise until she reached home that her bag had a big cut, looked like a burn mark. This is really badly handled baggage. We choose our flights based on our prior experience and I think I made a mistake because 2 yrs ago the wheels of my bag had been broken after travelling in indigo. After spending so much time and money on the flight. We have to waste our time and money again to get a new bag or even repair it. Very unprofessional behaviour. Now I want to see how you'll resolve my issue

                                We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. Our endeavour has always been to deliver bag at the destination in good condition. We are therefore concerned to note your comments about the baggage services.
                                Further, as per our conditions of carriage, a customer who leaves the baggage delivery area without reporting a bag as damaged to an IndiGo representative will be deemed to have received his/her bag correctly and in good condition.                                   Hi Indigo team,

                                  On 28 august i have received phone call regarding vacancies and job openings in cabin crew department from some aviation job placement situated in delhi, asked to forward the resume, photo, highest qualifications and ID proof, and as requested by them i e-mailed them all the details on aviationjob.[protected]@outlook.com then other day i received the phone call stating i have been shortlisted for next aptitude round and before that they asked to deposit registration charges of rs2000, going by this deposited the amount and i cleared the apti round, then they told me that i need to go through telephonic round where i will be asked some sort of questions and attended that also, however I haven't gave the telephonic interview properly and i was pretty sure that may be i will get rejected but today they called n said that i have cleared this round also now next round is to go to airport for face to face interview however they asked me to do something else for that, they asked me to clear the medicle round i need to deposit 12500rs for ESIC so that me with my family will be secured medically, the girl named Tanya also told me that from this amount 10, 000rs will be refundable in my salary. It was quite suspicious for me, they even e-mailed me the medicle and modification letter to make me more believe on them, but i searched the internet and got to know that this airline services never asks for any money to be paid, i have attached the letter please check and confirm if it is wronge.
                                  It is my humble request to indigo airlines services to keep eye on this fraud and make people aware about it and also try to stop this crime.

All appointments and recruitment related work is handled by genuine and authorized officials of the Human Resources Department of IndiGo at its Gurgaon office or any location officially designated by authorised officials of IndiGo. We do not indulge in the practices of collecting any processing/ enrollment fees from job aspirants/candidates.

                                    Hi.. This is shikha tiwari, i had a flight from goa to bangalore at 8:10 pm and i have reached airport at 7:30 but crew has not allowed me to board saying gates has been closed and insisted me to take another indigo flight at 12:55am. I was a single lady with kid and requested them to allow me to checkin as still on time but crew has not allowed me and forced me to wait 4 hours 9n airport.

                                    I felt this was rude behaviour of indigo crew members of goa airport which is really disrespectful and forcing people to get another ticket so that they can earn more money which is a fradster

                                    We regret the inconvenience caused. As per our policy, check-in counter closes 45 mins prior and boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Also, passengers carrying the printout of boarding passes through web check-in can report directly at the board gates without check-in baggage. Based on our records, you reported at 1949 hrs for the flight scheduled to depart at 2010 hrs. Hence, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight.
                                    Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you. We look forward towards your understanding in this regard.

                                      पुणे से दिल्ली pnr EGCZYT ये तिकीट मेने क्लायंट कि बनवावी.. जिसपे मेने कुछ मार्कअप किया क्योकी में 1एजेंट हू.. कुछ कारण उन्हे ट्रॅव्हल नहीं करणे दिया और तिकीट कॅन्सल करके फुल्ल refund मिले गा ऐसा बताडिया.. लेकिन उन्हे मार्कअप के बारे में नहीं बताना चाहिये था.. पुणे एअरपोर्ट पे 29. 8 18 रात 11 बजे आपके स्टाफ ने मेरे बारे में मार्कअप किया बोल दिया...

                                        Indigo baggage handling is famous, i will share experience of my sister neelam, she traveled along with her husband sunil singh, (27 aug 2018 from varanasi to hyd 6e 6913, pnr - a8jcul). On landing at hyderabad,
                                        While they received baggage from the conveyor belt, they were surprised on seeing the condition of baggage, it was damaged and has patches like someone threw clay on it.
                                        When they rushed to indigo helping hands of vijay kumar sharma and benny they received reply "indigo couldn't do anything even though it was a clear mistake and improper handling of baggage". After having further discussion he said
                                        This cannot be repaired but he can offer 500 rs voucher which can be used on indigo site for any of future bookings. Wow really?
                                        My friends obviously were not interested in travelling to indigo anymore so they asked for cash payment of 500 rs which indigo denied. What kind of solution is offering 500 rs voucher to travel again with indigo?
                                        You are making business out of people's loss. Is this some kind of promotional offer. Are you kidding me? By this logic do tamper all bags intentionally and then offer 500 rs voucher to customers so they have to come back to indigo.
                                        You want to encash on customer’s loss and offering a discount coupon of 500 rs which they can only use on indigo site if they plan to travel in next 6 months. This was the biggest joke i ever heard in customer relationship.
                                        No doubt indigo is sinking and soon customers will treat this as another air india.
                                        I had same issue 2 years back with air india and after 1 hour argument they reimburse me 500 rs as cash, but i must say indigo is worse than even air india.
