Complaint unresolved for 2 weeks
Hi,

My MTNL phone no is 24610458. The broadband connections has been down for over 3 weeks. Logged complaint no 41602106 with their Internet helpline no 1504, but to no avail. Have been calling this number for 2 weeks now, but no one has been sent to check the line or modem.

MTNL Broadband — Complaint unresolved for 2 weeks

Hi,

My MTNL phone no is 22046992. The broadband connections has been down for over 3 weeks. Logged complaint no 9989 with their Internet helpline no 1504, but to no avail. Have been calling this number for 2 weeks now, but no one has been sent to check the line or modem.
Dear Sir,
Sir I have taken connection MTNL line, no is 25997414.
I have to configure VPN(Virtual Private Network)Site to site, for that I need
1.Static IP,
2.Subnet Mask,
3.Gate Way
Modem must be configured on Static IP and working on LAN.
I talked several time in 1504 and many other no, but not yielded positive response so far.15 days past, Sirf Ghoos khane ke liye office me sit kerte hai, kya hoga is desh ka, ho sake to kuch kam ker lo
Complaint un resolved since one year.

I have applied for a new connection in March 2008 and was alloted the instrument and phone number as 27740431. but the line is not yet activated. I have raised several complaints but there was no response. I even contacted navi mumbai GM's office and awaiting the reply.

    If a MTNL customer who is already having two connections under any MTNL tarrif scheme before[protected], and one of his connection is for more than 5 (five years).
    Why this Loyal Customer is not allowed to convert his existing second connection to this
    “Additional landline to Loyal Customers of MTNL Mumbai” scheme and benefit with the lower service charges and free calls.
    Can any one take it up with the MTNL authorities and answer this?

      I face the following problems:
      - The technician did not arrive on the date promised.
      - The service was started after around 8-10 days of the decided date.
      - The costumer care service did not provide correct username and password.
      - They promise speed upto 256 kbps but we get no higher than 4-10 kbps save the day of connection.
      - Disconnected from the service very frequently.
      - No proper customer support.
      - Amount of download MB logged is 2 - 3 MB higher than what the real value is.

      I am facing this problem since the internet had been installed.My telephone no.[protected].using a unlimited plan of 599...in which i should get 256kps speed but i am getting 74kbps...It's been several time that i have made i complaint still it is not been resolved ... plz solve my speed problem

      we had tahen internet connection before 1year our bill is also paid.Than also our internet is not working,
      we had complain to (dahisar) office, before 6 month, but till now no one has come to resolve the problem.
      please see to it.199plan tri band.service.
      it had become 1 year still ur service is not working,

        I am broadband user provided by MTNL, but service quality is very poor whether it is customer care or broadband service provided by the company, most of the time we are not able to use this service and if we make complaints then customer care executive disconnects our call without solving our problem not only executives senior officer also showing very irresponsible behavior so I request all other customer its better to use service provided by airtel or some other private firm never go for any government agencies for using broadband or telephone service...

          I have been using this mobile phone service Dolphin for almost 3 years now. its network is extremely poor. Voice clarity is a distant dream and calls drop like anything. They offer cheap call rates, but due to dropped calls, one ends up paying way more than promised.

          whenever we complain to customer care of mtnl, they say that network upgradation work is going on, and it will smooth in a little time. But i have been hearing this for atleast a coupl e of years. i wonder if they have to sent a mission to mars to improve the dolphin network.

          in a nutshell, this is the most evident example of diplomatic lethargy, since mtnl could have easily been the best service, but they chose to be the worst, to the favor of private companies.

          very soon i m going to surrender this connection.
          network is [censored] poor and customer service representative talk like they r our boss...9 out or 10 times they disconnect phone...they all are uneducated people frm d villages...mtnl sucks...im fed up wid this connection...after 12 network becomes like two person talking on coconut shells through threads...pls someone kick d a** of mtnl officials...im gonna throw dis connection in gutter...
          Terrible service - nothing is going on for upgradation, not only do calls drop in many areas there is no coverage in the centre of New Delhi in the so called VVIP areas. Have been with Dolphin for the past 5 years as a loyal Government Servant but its just not improving. Today (18May2009) has been the ultimate there is just no signal anywhere I go in New Delhi.
          Today (18May2009) is an epitome in mtnl's lethargic existence.. the network has been down from yesterday night(around 2 am) and the day is through n mtnl has done nothing about it.
          i think they should forget upgrading the network to 3g n try improvising on the quality of service they can provide their consumers on 2g itself.
          i already used to dolphin service since 3 to 4 year!! there is no network in GTB ENCLAVE .. there's officer also slow and they do not want to work on network ..many time i complaints senior officer but no positive reply and talking like rudely.. so plz govt take suitable action to mtnl(dolphin department )
          i m leaving in ramesh nagar new delhi 110015 there no network of dolphin connection i m suffering so much

            I submit my complaint to you on 1-4-09, I also complaint to MTNL office at Borivali(W) & then phone was in order.Subsequently there was a call from their office on 3-4-09 by a lady who has some hot coversation with somebody & then phone goes again dead till today.From outside I made a complaint on 198 today the docket No is 5030, The phone is still in dead condition, My contention of playing mischief is therefore suportted.Kindly look in to the matter so that I am not get affected with their poor services.

              Hi,
              I paid the security cheque for Installing icontrol- (Sponsored by MTNL and Aksh Optic) on 2nd Februrary 2009.

              Since then i am making a request on the Customer Care No 26990009 for the installation of the facility.

              Now the Customer care executives are not lodging my complaint for the cancellation and refund of the security deposit and also not giving me the request no of the complaint nor they are installing set top box. Since 1st March 2009 Customer Care executive provides me a feedback that technician will visit your place. But till now no intimation is received from the company.

              i have disconnedted iptv service since jan-2009 aksh ppl have aske me to fax regarding this to anaga madam on fax no 82712957 i had send fax on this number 4-5 times i also recieved call from thme regardi ng the disconnection and was told someone will pick up the settopbox and i will get my refund in 6 days
              till day no one has come

              pls someone guide on how and where can i complain abt this matter to higher authorities
              I have disconnected my IPTV-MTNL connection from telephone no.27567292 but I have not received the secutity refund. Their customer care no. is not working.

                MTNL — wrong bill

                i have broadband connection on ph[protected] c.no. [protected] . i hve unlimited plan for internet & my usally bill is Rs 750approx .but i monthof jan they hve charged me Rs 894 without any purpose . i have reciept of payment bill
                have broadband connection on ph[protected] c.no [protected] . my connection was disconnected october 2008 due to non payment. now 22april i paid all pending bills and applied for reconnection my phone line(Rs250 combo plan) but new bill no [protected] has come. and it include the amount of disconnecting period. so i am requesting you to please rectify the error and disconnect my phone and broadband connection forever. i will not responsible for any kind of payment of bill from 21april.please disconnect my connection and send correct bill to me for payment as soon as possible...
                It is informed that Tri-band charge for Rs. 649/ and monthly service charges of Rs. 250/- are being included in the bill of Telephone no 22516414 in respect of Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise, Division-VIII, Core-IV, First Floor, Scope Minar, South Tower, Distt Centre Laxmi Nagar, Delhi for the month of March, 2009 and April, 2009 whereas the Tri-band connection is not connected in the above said telephone no.

                I disconnected my Broadband on 30th April, 2012 for the telephone number[protected] but i just saw my bill for the month of may and i was shocked to see that you people have charged Rs.870 for Broadband which i didn't use. Secondly there used to be 100 free calls per month which you people have reduced to 5. Kindly check the discrepancies in my bill.

                Billing problem

                My Internet is not working last 2 months but nobody come to resolve my problem and my Internet bill is coming per month.so I want to rebate in my bill.Becouse I would not be able to use my Internet.
                I had an Incoming Call Plan with an average billing of Rs.179/- p.m.
                I made a request for Senior Citizen Discount on 22/02/2016 for my Incoming Call Plan Tel No [protected].
                But rather providing me discount, you have started charging me Rs. 266/-.
                Also, you are sending me this billing amount as per Incoming & Outgoing Call Plan and the worst part is that my connection still has no outgoing call facility.
                I hereby request you to kindly make this correction and charge me as per Incoming Call Plan with Senior Citizen Discount.
                Please find attached the copy of the application submitted at your MTNL, Hauz Khas office with Age Proof.

                no network is coming still from previous 12 days.
                My name is Navdeep i brought a Mtnl broadband in November mouth. I am using Mtnl broadband form November, My monthly bill amount excess to actual amount.they are not clearly mentioned about how many calls used for month, how many calls exceed from according to the plan discount, and they are not mentioning rate for each calls, they simply send the total bill amount is Rs.xxx much.that amount should I paid without knowing the reason, my net speed is very poor i can't use inter net & not open any site So kindly help me,

                  Sub: MMS settings for mobile sets: SAMSUNG SGH F480 and for SGH X650 not available from MTNL-TRUMP

                  I have above said 2 mobile phones and MTNL is not providing proper settings to be able able to send MMS. I have sent mails to even the level of edd, mtnl; gmgsmo, mtnl. gme, mtnl and other officials but non of them have cared to take any action or revret back to my mails.

                  It is major deficiency in providing services by MTNL and may customer are not able make full use of this facility.

                  I do hope TRAI or any consumer body will take up the issue to solve it by getting the right settings installed on these mobiles.

                    Hello...

                    I have been using Mtnl for the last 2 and a half years... I'm using the plan night [protected]@599. I used to get good speed of about 200 - 210kbps. But two days before I'm getting very low speed of 20 - 25kbps.
                    I did gave a complain but no response, not even proper guidance. I have been getting a very good speed for a long time now. And now when its almost 10 times lower speed its really very irritating.
                    I have no idea what you people do. But please there are more than 60 complains in this forum. Please take some action. We would be very greatful.

                    combo plan broadband — speed is too low

                    I am availing the facility of broadband, but the speed of the broadband is too low which causes difficulty to download the material.

                    I am very old experienced user of mtnl delhi..i hav 256 kbps combo plan..from the last 10 months i was getting usually 200 kbps average speed, ...but from the last 10 days iam getting not even 10 kbps downld speed...nd I have MT882 modem.the modem takes 15 mins to connect...

                    MTNL — Low Broadband Speed

                    I recently got my broadband plan changed to combo 599/- in which the downloading was promised to remain same as my earlier plan ( Rs 399, 2gb, 256kbps ).
                    Even your weblink : ( http://mtnldelhi.in/broadband/triband_tariff.htm) promises the same.

                    Please be noted that the downloading speed has decreased considerably ( Avg 10kbps ), previously i used to download @ 80-100 kbps. My phone no is[protected], its in the name of Mrs Kusam Gulati, I hereby request you to look in the matter and revert at the earliest.

                      I am not able to send MMS from my mobile no: [protected] mobile model no. SAMSUNG SGH F480 and model no: SGH X650.
                      I have approached to variois officials in MTNL from 'edd', gmgsmo, gme, amkb and many others but to no avail. The settings for different models of different makes are different and MTNL is not in a position to provide the same.
                      I am a senior citizen and advise rest by doctor.
                      I request you to get me the settings so that mobile can be used for MMS or alternatly the public at large may me made aware thro' your program about this deficiency so that it is known to them while taking a connection.

                          There is a huge network problem for the last 30 days for the MTNL prepaid mobile customers in Mumbai. It is a night-mare to connect MTNL phones and to call from MTNL phones. It hardly works. Most of the time it gives "call disconnected". Call dropping is enormous. SMSs take more than days to reach (even from MTNL to MTNL). br...

                          Sir I would like to tell you that despite of several calls and complaint the result which we get from the MTNL office is none.                               Hi,

                              My telephone outgoings were barred even after paying the bills online on 18th March 09 for which I had even received a receipt from mtnl on my e-mail id. On visiting the nearest MTNL office on 21st Mar 09 and showing the receipts, I was assured that my phone connection would be restored the same day. However even today i.e 22nd Mar 09, my tel outgoings remains barred.

                              I have been facing such unprofessional behavior from MTNL for too long. Is there any way to initiate a legal proceeding against MTNL and also how much viable that option would be in this case.

                                  I am a troubled user of the MTNL Garuda Fixed WLL phones. The troubles are multi fold...
                                  - The Charger does not work;
                                  - If the charger works the phone refuses...
                                  - If both work, then the network is a problem... (all this is hardware issue)
                                  - U go to the local MTNL exchange they openly tell you that the replacing is not a sensible choice cause what we have to offer is even worse then existing. So u are forced to make an informed and intelligent decision of not replacing and to continue with the crappy hardware you are stuck with. The phones offered as replacment are the one's returned by other troubled subscribers... hopefully repaired...

                                    9507 31/01/09 02/02/09 Closed without user feedback

                                    Phone was dead from 14/02/09 to 03/03/09, means neither phone nor internet was working.

                                    Response time for resolving a complaint is 24 hrs.

                                    I had called to Narender Kumar-SDO[protected], S.S.Jain - Area Manager([protected]), R.A.Gupta - GM Office[protected], 23328823,[protected], N.K.Mehta - GM Office[protected],[protected], Sanjeev Kumar - DGM Office[protected] on daily basis. My telephone record support the fact.

                                    After making hundred of remainders to officials stated above no action has been taken uptil now. On daily basis official states to me that we going to look into this matter, but i don't understand what action they had taken and why our MTNL paying to them.

                                    After so much calling and remainders, Mr. Pramod ([protected]) on 17/03/09 visited the site and looked into this matter. After analyzing, he suggested that there is some problem in Modem, i remainded to my Narender Kumar (SDO) and S.S.Jain(Area Manager) about this finding but Narender Kumar(SDO) insisted me to visit the MTNL office by taking the Modem for replacement but i requested him to visit the site, replace and test at site only but he in its ignorance, told me that he visit the site tomorrow, which he was doing since 07/03/09 from when i started looking into this matter seriously.

                                    Please let me know after making so many calls, reminder & complain nothing happened. What more a subscribe had to do.

                                    I had not availed any service since 02/02/09 from MTNL and invested more than 150 calls to resolve this matter, still it is pending. Why a subscriber will pay when he had availed the service. So, look into this matter to adjust the payments too.

                                    I request to you, take to appropriate action to resolve this matter and take appropriate action against concern officials and make sure that this will not repeat in future.

                                    Please do not take any broadband from mtnl as they only collecting money in the name of cheap service inoccent people are the victime

                                      I have taken the MTNL BB connection almost 2 months ago and every this was going on perfectly fine, since Friday the 13th of March 09' the speed for dowloading and uploading data drop to 3 to 5 kbps from 227 to 235 kbps, I spoke to every possible people from all BB department. I started making complaint on the 1504, this no is for internet issues i was given the complaint no 2087, nothing happened for 24 hrs, then I again called up and on the same no 1504 and spoke to the customer care executive she told me that out technicain will visit to your place and will check the problem, then after 30 mins or so someone from BB technician dept named Abhay called up and he told me what is the issue, i told him everything about the slow speed issues, he made me do some changes in the network & connection option, the changes was he change the option to obtain IP automatically from the static IP address and ask me to not to change ant thing in the DNS setting, then I asked to restart the machine, no thing happened it was same as before, then he is telling me that there is a problem with the pc it might have got some virus, I told him that i am using the registered version of Symantec Antivirus and its gets updated on daily basis, and he started argueing and was very rude on the call too. then he disconected the call bluntly. Then I called up to the connection dept and talk to Mr. Chawdhary he takes care of the new connection as well as the old modem setting issues, after talking to him he suggested me to format the machine and then check it, if there is any probl;em he will come and check the same. After formating the machine still bo joy it was the same. I called him again and told him everythign he replied as for as you are able to get the internet connection its perfect from our side and i cannot do anythign about it and he told me to get in touch with the speed issues dept and the no to that dept was 23488810 i spoke to the person on this no and he checked online from there end is was perfectly fine and then he ask me to do a complaint on 198 and select option 1&3 and technician will come and check th line as there might be some problem in the line and its been more than 24 hours and nobody has some to check the line, I have been callin since 13th March 09 and no action has been taken as of today, I have 999 unlimited plan and i pay almost more than Rs 1000/-for the internet conection and of which i am having hard time to work with this slow speed connection since almost a week...I know that this is India and it takes time to react but what about the customer sentiments they care the damn of it. If we make the payment 1 day after the due date they straight away take the charges from us but there is issue since a weeks times but not compensation will be provided to me...if this thing continues and nothing is been done by the end of this week i'll discontinue with the service

                                      I totally agree with above person.
                                      I am facing the same problem. Even after paying up Rs 999 for the unlimited plan, whenever i try to download the speed reduces from 80kbps to almost 100bits per sec.. and then the download stop...

                                      why is this happening.
                                      Is mtnl fooling people around. Even i tried calling each and every call center of their and they all say that call this number or that number as this is not their department.

                                      The browzing is good, but not able to download.

                                      I hope the right officials see this complaint and do something about it.
                                      i have mtnl''s 599 unlimited plan and still i m getting 35kbps instead of 512kbps. i want you to kindly check my speed and call my area manager for this issue and resolve this problem as soon as possible...
