I booked Air France ticket for Delhi to Libreville (Gabon) for travel on 13th Feb 2017 through Makemytrip, but I was shocked when I was made to wait for over 2 hrs to check with valid ticket, passport and Visa for Gabon.
Air France staff at check-in counter after making me wait for 2 hour informed that I cannot check-in as I do not have valid visa for France.
Neither Air France nor Makemytrip communicated to me orally or in writing that I need Visa for France also for travelling to Gabon.
Due to deficiency in services of both Air France and MakemyTrip, I went through harassment, mental agony apart from huge financial loss for not being able to visit Gabon for business meetings.
When I contacted Customer Service of MakemyTrip on line at around 10.30 PM on 13th Feb 2017 from Airport, Mr Alam of MakemTrip told me that it is my fault and due to no-show no refund will be give for this Air Ticket.
When I questioned him how he can say that there will be no refund for no fault on my part than he ask me to hold and he will check with Air France. After keeping on hold for more than 15 minutes, Mr Alam informed that I will get refund after deduction of cancellation charges of Rs 9, 197/-. and accordingly I go two email msgs from Makemytrip in one msg they mentioned cancellation charges as Rs 6, 458/- + MakemyTrip Service Fee of Rs 649/- and in second msg they mentioned cancellation charges as 9, 197/- + MakemyTrip Service Fee Rs 0.0.

This purely the case of cheating on part of MakemyTrip and Air France, who made to suffer huge loss and mental agony due to deficiency in their services by not informing me requirement of France Visa also for travel to Gabon (West African Country).

I shall very much appreciate if this matter taken up strongly and both MakemyTrip and Air France are heavyly penalised for harassing their customers.

    I am pissed off explaining my problem so many times. Simply I have tried to book train tickets on Jan 17, 2017. It was unsuccessful but my money has been deducted from bank. I haven't receive my money till now though I have been waiting for more than 14 working days intimated by the customer support. Check the mail copy attached. What the hell are they doing? I want my money back.

      Manipulated Invoice

      If you are a salaried employee and need a right invoice to claim money from your company and if you are taking a decision to book through Make My Trip...you have invited a trouble. This is a manipulative company which does not provide invoice unless asked. Be careful to check the right check-in and checkout dates on the invoice, make sure they mentioned the right Hotel name on the invoice, ensure the tax break up and the amount you have actually...

      I have cancelled my flight booking in the previous month itself. I am not refunded entire amount that I am eligible for and whenever contacted am only assured of refunding the same but have not yet recieved. Absolutely unethical and disorganised way of working. Today I was contacted by the team again and was assured that somebody will contact me back but no call was received, is this a professional way of working? Or another style of business of making money by the company.

        MAKEMYTRIP.COM HAS CHEATED ME... I had booked a Vistara Air Ticket from GUWAHATI To Bagdogra on August 2016 for travel on 1st FEBRUARY 2017 12.45 P.M.

        And when I went for Web-CheckIn on 31st Of January 2017 I came to know that the flight is Non-Operational / Cancelled by Vistara in October 2016.

        And I Had not been updated till my travel date this is very UNFORTUNATE & LACK OF COMMITMENT from what they say a HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL TRAVEL AGENT.

        When I called Vistara Airlines they said They have refunded money to MAKE MY TRIP.COM & intimated them. When I asked why no intimation is given to me they said your Travel agent has not updated contact details with them.

        When I called MAKEMYTRIP.COM they said ITs my FAULT, they have intimated me via EMAIL & SMS (AS SUCH I HAVE NO INTIMATIONS), I asked them any proof for this, they were answerless. Then I asked IF they have intimated me the same why my funds are not credited back to me they said THEY DONT HAVE SUCH POLICY. Customer has to beg for his money in front of them.

        And then they said we can provide any next ticket available which is of no use for me as I had all connecting flights, hotel bookings & taxi bookings.

        Finally the pre-poned the booking 2 hours before for which I objected as I will miss that flight because I had a connecting flight from New Delhi to Guwahati but they forcefully did that booking in compensation from that as they dont have any other option available.

        And I missed that flight & when now I am asking for refund they said they will not refund my money do what-ever i want to do.

        I want my money with compensation for the Mental harassment done to me for such an unethical & Non-Professional behavior.

            Further, in reference to your complaint on forum and as per our discussion, we have validated your case and found that on 28-Dec-16 customer has tried making a Rail booking through our website and the same was failed. But, the amount of Inr 1109/- was charged from customer’s account. Please be advised that the full refund of Inr 1109/- has already been processed from our end on the same day of transaction.               I have booked a hotel on nov 2016 and cancelled it on 2 jan 2017 and now it's more than a month and i haven't received my money back whenever i call to customer care they only make excuses and no one is helping me when i talk to them they said talk to your bank and get it in written from your bank manager that bank has not received money i tell them that manager is not so free that he will give me in written because this is not his problem, i have given my bank statement to them and it is clear from my bank statement that i haven't received my money every time i call them they said we will talk to our accounts department and then we will inform you but now it's been a month and i have not received my money back these guys are giving me some reference no and saying that this no confirms that we have given your refund and now it's your bank problem we can't do anything plz help me what i do

                Dear Sir

                I was thrilled and very happy that I have chosen mmt as travel planner, After watching TV commercial I had got faith in your brand and chosen you as I didn't had fear of loosing money in case of cancellation... but to my surprise it was fake tv commercial and reality is something else

                I am extremely disappointed with pre and post booking behaviour of your executive Vishali thakur and kanav Khurana where successful in mis leading
                I have requested for destination change in travel from Thailand dubai and adjust my booking amount to that... but now they are saying my booking amount will go off will not get single penny back or adjusted..

                Need a justice give justice if you are a ethical company

                  -- Package 3, 12000 for 4 persons (included 2 senior citizen) Departure from Chennai.

                  i m just sharing my holiday experience pros and cons:

                  PROS :# i Would really appreciate Ms.Seema Ganji, Travel expert who was very detailed, travel/visa/payments
                  initially i had plan for travelling only on July2017 but the way her follow ups, i convinced my self and booked jan2017 itself
                  seema was very helpful, on all my doubts, i m travelling abroad for a first time had bunch of questions&doubts, she was patient&kind
                  she was available all the time when i had doubts. Thanks Seema.

                  # Visa Support Swati Chib/Karthick (Chennai office) Dimple. done a good job.

                  # on Arrival KL Airport Pick up was on time. and got the trip details and new sim card as they mentioned in package.

                  # Stayed 3 day in Hotel Swiss Garden, Pukit pintang KL which is located on central city, food and rooms and service was pretty good

                  # Pan Asia tours and travels.. taken care of our sightseeing KL town and Genting highland.

                  # Went from malaysia to singapore by coach reached Singapore. the coach was pretty good and comfortable.

                  # stayed in Hotel Ibis Novena in singapore. had good continental food and comfort rooms.

                  # went singapore city tour and sentosa, Luxury tours and travels taken care of our sightseeings.
                  (sorry not much pros to write and also lot of cons to write the page wont enough)


                  CONS:#Booking with Air Asia ..Had a bad experiences flight was total cramped .. while a booking the package u guys said food included in the air
                  but no food in the flight .. flight departure time was morning 8:30 am I told my parents tht food will be provided the flight.. so they dint have break fast
                  but during journey .. they felt hungry... and tired..( they are above 60+) ( i felt should need even more clarity of explanation about flight bookings)

                  # Pan Asia Tours and Travels .dont have guide i guess .. only drivers played guide roll ..they kept mouth shut dint explain abt city/culture/history even if we asked they refused, ,
                  not up to the mark dint follow @ all the itinerary of MAKEMYTRIP few drivers are rude.. ( as if we are come for a free trip) ( i dint Expect this form MMT)

                  # All sightseeing given time was minimum 10 Maximum 15 minutes. we all almost running ..behind drivers. ( just imagine my parents had terrible knee and back pain)

                  # you wont believe during this 7 days .. we have not had lunch..they dint give time ( very poor organised ) thank god had few packets of biscuits. some how manged)

                  # with in 2 hours they finished city tour came back room @12.30pm MMT guys tell me one thing we have came here explore the country not simply sit back in hotel room.

                  #we are Hindu religions my parents mainly came Malaysia to see the Batu caves murugan temple. but driver gave only 10 minutes take picutes.on the entrance, he have not allowed us to go up to the
                  temple, why the hell we came all the way to malaysia just to see entrance of the temple? Disappointed lot. reason drives says he dint have time he has other group of tourist to pick up.
                  we dont want all the stupid reasons do we are not paying money? are they just white papers?

                  #all the time drivers was shouting and rushing ... rudely they behaved they are kings of malaysia they treated everyone as school students

                  # we all felt this not pleasure holiday trip..this is army camp.. MMT should answer this they are not keep up the word as they promised why did not followed itinerary? whats wrong with u guys?

                  # driver was insisting from day one, about punctuality i[censored] all not on time i ll leave from the spot. but why the hell we all waited almost 3 hours in Genting Highland for a pick up.. reason driver gave
                  he had other pick up its Ridicules!!! pan asia should learn customer service.

                  #itinerary chocolate factory .. sorry its a chocolate shop not a factory they forcefully try to sell there expensive chocolates... not worth for money ( Wasted time)

                    On 3rd February 2017, i booked my flight from srinagar to jammu with ID NF[protected] but unfortunately due to some technical reasons i was informed by MakeMyTrip team that my booking has failed while they assured that they have submitted the refund amount to concerned SBI bank and full amount of Rs10816 will be transferred within 1 working day. but two days have passed and my account is not yet debited. now talking to the customer support they extended the refund date to next friday. Now looking at the complaints of others, i feel like MakeMyTrip is on a fraud spree. i request you kindly go through my complaint genuinely otherwise i will sue this company in consumer court and will take into account media as well.

                      Makemytrip india ecommerce portal is now declining in customer compliance on a sharpest rate and through a nexus with few unreliable hotels, fraudlent in nature it started exploiting its old valued customers in worst possible way.

                      Never go with advanced booking as your chance of refund is virtually zero incase of booking cancellation on or one day prior to your scheduled arrival.

                      I myself has witnessed such a bad practice last month against a Makemytrip ref ID[protected] and apparently lost a considerable amount only because i opted for advance booking despite of clearly mentioning in their portal of free cancellation till the day of check in.

                      There are countless exchanges of mails and communications post this issue raise, but everytime ended with their robotic irritating reply ended with an apologize that we are sorry, refund cant be possible.

                      What I personally experienced, instead of listening and understanding customer grave inconvenience, they keep supporting and cooperating their hotel partners wrongfully and discriminately towards pressurised the client for closure..

                      I was used to be a customer of MMT and i frequently travels, always go with advanced booking option.

                      I have all documented records o[censored]pdates that i used to share with them from time to time and even voice recordings of their customer care executives suggesions.

                      I strongly suggest, avoid this application and still if you most, then you must go with pay at hotel instead advance booking.

                      Hence we regret that no refund can be possible for booking, how ever as a good will gesture we offer you future travel voucher worth of INR 1000/-.

                        Hi, I booked my flight from mumbai-hyd-tirupati and return from vijaywada-hyd-mumbai. They confirmed tickets while taking payment but later kept emailing change in flights and now I only have my outbound flights confirmed.But they haven't provided me with my return tickets yet. I have made more than 40 calls each lasting 1hr plus calling from UK but no response yet since a week. It's pure harassment, I wonder how celebrities are supporting such companies who are not concerned about customer service. The issue is escalated but no resolution yet and none of the supervisors/managers take responsibility to call back.                               We (2)pax had selected Russian group tour from Make MyTrip.Com & sales person Ketan Mandora was handling the case from 09/01/2017.We had tentatively fixed 29/4/2017 as our departure date as we were to go on an extended Europe tour from 06/05/2017.The Land only pricing was agreed and since the GST was to increase on 22/01/2017 we hadagreed to make full payment before that.But on 19/01/2017 the European tour operator had informed us that tour on 06/05/2107 was full and 12/05/2017 was available.On that same day morning I tried in vain to Contact Ketan Mandora but I did contact his team leader Solomon Jani @12.30 through mobile phone & told him orally about the changed departure dates and whether seats are available ? He told me that even if 2 are going the tour is on.He wanted our Passports scan for names & the bank voucher.I went to the bank and sent money by NEFT @ 16.30 & sent bank voucher scan.The money received confirmation was sent only on 22/01/2017 SUNDAY.On 24/01/2017 I saw an E mail from Visa consultant of my departure date as 29/01/2017.I immediately sent an all concerned message of " wrong date of booking".Till date the sales team says I am at fault and I have to pay Rs 7000/= for change of date.If Solomon Jani had not interfered in this booking or conveyed the changed date to Ketan Mandora everything would be fine.Why should I pay for someone's mistake.There should be justice.I have all e mails to back up my case.Now Ketan says I should pay Rs.7000/= within 7 days or my trip will be cancelled.This is akin to rubbing salt in my wounds.Someone in authority should deal this case and decide either before 7 days or use clout and extend the time limit.Thanks.                                 I have booked flight for 6 pax BOM-DEL-BOM on 14th Jan 2017 for 23rd Feb 2017 and return on 26th Feb 2017, I have been wrongly charged for 2 different rates for DEL-MUM flight which is on 26th FEB 2017 that is 2 pax (Rs. 2776/-) and 4 pax (5630/-). I have contacted to Make my trip for resolution but I have not got any solution and make my trip has done goo[censored]p and spoiling the Vistara airline name.                                 Greivance : Overcharge for VISTAARA Tickets booked via Make My Trips:

                                Details of my booking done on 14th Jan 2017 are as under:

                                No of Pax: 6 Route:BOM-DEL-BOM : Mum Dep: 23Feb 2017 & Return 26th Feb 2017

                                Booking done for 6 ticket when screen was showing rates as RS 2776/ Ticket but booking done as follows
                                2 Tickets charged @ Rs 2776 ( as shown on the screen)
                                4 Tickets charged @ Rs 5630 ( Changed at backend without any warning/ POPUP information to me)

                                When contacted Make My Trips, they admit it is technical error but refuse to provide a refund. Since the Revenue is for VISTAARA, request you to liase with Make My trips and arrange for a refund, for the overcharge which is due to no fault of mine.

                                  We are family of 10 members including child of 3 yrs. we had booking with Go Air from port Blair to Mumbai via chennai, we had booked tickets online from Makemytrip portal. Flight date and time is 30 Jan 2017 and 11 AM, which was changed to 9:30 AM without any notification from Makemytrip, Night before travel we called makemytrip and confirmed booking on recorded call and also got etickets in which time is mentioned as 11 AM so we have reached airport at 9:30 AM, once we reached we came to know that Goair have changed flight timings to 9:30 AM. and already informed to makemytrip and it's their fault, we tried to reach makemytrip executive but nobody responded. We did not received any help from Makemytrip. We had to cancel all our plans due to this and this is great loss, we had to book accomodation for ourself and this situation is created by makemytrip only.

                                    This is with regards to booking ID IN1611B8S2465955. I had booked this package from your representative Nemat Hashmi.At the time of booking it was told me that the Hotel is 3 star and it was already communicated to your representative that I don't need such hotel. Your representative had told me that it's a very good hotel. Below are disadvantages of this hotel.

                                    1.Tap is broken
                                    2.Flush is broken
                                    3.No Toilet paper
                                    4.AC not working
                                    5.Lots of dust
                                    6.Dirty water Jar
                                    7.The hotel daily rental is Rs.1600 and I had paid Rs.36000 for overall package.

                                      I have booked My hotel at Palolem Beach Resort, During booking there was free cancellation at first screen without any star*, but inside policies varies room to room.

                                      Which was not clear. Now Make mytrip is saying its non refundable. Please help to get my refund.

                                      I have booked early so that I could have cancel and rebook for earlier date, due to schedule change..
