I have booked a ticket with make my trip. My booking ID is NN[protected] and complaint Reference ID:[[protected]]. Make my trip booked wrong dates for my travel. Now, I am being charged extra on a refundable ticket to change my travel dates/ cancel my ticket. I am being continuously misled by the customer care and their supervisors. Each time I call, the representatives tell me a different amount that I need to pay to change the travel dates. Moreover, they fail to give me the break up of the amount they are charging.

I have talked to the customer care at least ten times. Mr Manorajan, Ms Swagata and their Supervisor Mr Nikhil Agarwal fail to give me sufficient information and are asking me to pay extra amount on a refundable ticket to cancel or change the travel dates.

Hence airline penalty remains the same, but fare difference keeps on changing which cannot guaranteed anytime not even with airline.

    It's almost being close to 1 year and i still haven't got my refund from air pegasus or make my trip. Both of the companies do not give out the expected date of refund.
    The airlines do not have a customer care service at all. They don't pick up their calls or do not respond to my mails. Mmt says that air pegasus has to give them the refund first and then they will refund the amount to the passengers.
    Even though the flight is cancelled by the airline no refund is credited to my account till date and make my trip website is showing my booking in the cancelled section with the refund status shown initiated for the past 8 months.
    I request air pegasus / make my trip to credit my full amount along with all charges.

      Sir I booked my train ticket on 21 April 2017 which was unconfirmed it was almost 10 days done till now I have not received my refund I called many times on customer care but my problem not solved I also Cross checked with bank also but not received my amount iam very much disappointed with make my trip I suffered a lot for this no right answer given to solve issue. kindly help to solve problem soon So that I can do another booking which iam pending for this issue of refund...

        I had booked two rooms at makemytrip (Mmt) for my trip to hongkong for 22nd and 23rd april. The booking id for the two rooms are nh[protected] and nh[protected]. The name of teh hotel is cosmo hotel. I had made the booking well in advance and paid the amount in full with confirmation recieved from makemytrip.

        Makemytrip proudly boasts in it's booking confirmation that once the booking has been made and payment recieved the customer need not confirm the booking again either by calling the hotel or makemytrip. However when i reached the hotel in hongkong the hotel staff told me that they can't allow me to check-in because makemytrip hasn't made the payment to the hotel.
        This is the case when i had made the booking well in time about 2-3 weeks ago. I made my first call to mmt around 6:15 am ist, but what happened after that is absolutely pathetic. The customer care asked me to be on hold and didn't turn up for about half an hour and this was the case everytime i called them.

        The worst part is that i made them my first call at around 6:15 am ist but they resolved the matter around 1:15 pm ist. From 6:15 to 1:15 i kept on calling them again and again but the customer service couldn't provide a solution. I even wrote them a mail but they couldn't resolve my problem either. The complaint id mmt gave me was[protected].

        Then after waiting at the hotel reception in hongkong for about two hours the hotel asked me to pay 400 usd as a security deposit because mmt did not make them the payment and this is the case when the hotel again and again reminded mmt to make the payment.

        My trip is a business trip and i had prebooked my entire trip well in time. As a result of this i wasn't carrying much cash but when the hotel asked me to pay the security deposit in cash i had to literally arrange for the cash from my sources there which landed me in a embarassing situation. Also i had to attend hktdc business fair starting at 9:30 am hongkong time. Because of this entire incident i had to miss out on my precious meeting in hongkong fair.
        Also i spent a lot on making special number calls to mmt customer service care where they asked me to be on hold for as long as 25-30 mins.

        I have missed out a key aspect of my business trip due to this entire incident. Also mmt is making false claims to customers that they need not confirm their booking once they've made the boking and paid the due amount.

        I demand compesation and i'll repeat again that i demand compensation. I had to face a lot embarassment in front of my other business colleagues due to this entire incident. The loss of my precious time and also the meeting missed has costed a lot in monetary terms. The calls i made to the customer care would have only costed me enough because all the calls were paid on special numbers. I demand full compensation of inr 1.25 lacs from mmt.

          I used to be a regular customer of Make My Trip for the past 4 years. But recently I had booked a ticket for my Hubby's travel to Dubai.Three days before the schedule, I got a call from MMT number and told me that there was some banking problem and my money could not be transferred to airline. He said booking has to be done with in 2hrs .I asked him to send a mail from Make My Trip office soon got a request from Make My Trip id. I transfered Rs 50000 /-and then shared the UTR number in the mail id from MMT. I got back a mail saying that it was a fake call, but by that time, money was sent from bank . I did nt know what to do, called the officials of MMT, but theyadvised me to "solve it from my end." I sent mail and it is one and a half months, I have never received any reply from Make my Trip till date. But I managed to solve the problem on my own, with the help of good officers in Federal Bank, Kundara and Punjab National Bank. I feel that it is some staff in MMT, who did this fraudulent act, anyways, an utterly irresponsible company. Don't rely on them!

            Hi

            I have trying to cancel my flight tickets from make my trip but not able to do that as their system asking me to do lot of form filling. After filling all the forms they are not reverting.
            I have tried their customer care number since last 2 days but no body is picking up phone & only getting recorded message.
            Wrote 5 complaints as well but no response .
            After lot of trying got a call from some lady .She said she will revert in 5mts but again no response...
            Very unprofessional behaviour by MMT ..
            Now I am clueless where to contact ..my ticket still not been cancelled and I am nearing to flight timing..

              Zero cancellation product - makemytrip is selling fake product

                I had booked an International flight on 30th March 2017 from Mumbai - Washington IAD via Make my Trip. The fare of Rs. 72194 was debited from my accout immiediately and received payment status as succesful and ticket confirmed. However did not receive flight Iternary, therefore called the customer care in order to rest assure about ticket confirmation - to my surprise they say the booking ID is lost and will recieve a refund in 3 WORKING days (TAT) i.e by 3rd Or 4th April 2017 Max. Therefore asked the executive and the Supervisor to either refund the amount asap or else book the same flight as the money were still with them. None from MIT even called to inform about ticket cancellation.
                Inspite of rigorous follow up on daily basis, the refund wasn't initiated till the 6th April 2017. 4-5 supervisors only sympathised and made lame promises that amount will reflect in your account the next day. Till date 9th April 2017 - no credit in my account. I have asked the supervisors to compensate for the delay, time, money and for energy waste. Pathetic service from MIT. Will never recommend or use their services. Complete mental torture.

                In my case (NN2HQKFQBB34CQLP2361), I have still not received the refund even after 5 months where flight cancellation was done by Singapore Airlines for a flight booked through Make my trip platform. These guys keep on giving lame promises and extend expected refund date every 15 days, then blame airlines for not approving refund. Why seek approval from airlines when the website clearly shows that flight was cancelled by airlines and I also shared an email from the airlines to that effect!
                Absolute cheaters and frauds!! I have also stopped using MMT for flight bookings.

                  I have made a flight booking for 4 March 2017 from Banglore to Jaipur in air Costa via makemytrip
                  However the air Costa airline became non operational and the flight got cancelled

                  I have had my words with air Costa customer engineer who stated that my refund amount of Rs 4519 have been processed to makemytrip and asked me to contact them to get the amount transferred to my account.

                  When connected to mmkt customer people for the first time they stated I will get money within 3-4, working days.I waited for like two weeks I didn't received any money .
                  When I contacted mmkt people again they said that they have not received money from air Costa ...

                  Then the mmkt customer service person named Jasmin John said that she will follow up with me and keep me updated with the status it's been over a month now I haven't heard from her ... Not have I received my refund... Very upsetting to see how makemytrip people are fooling the customers around and proving them that the trust is not worth ...

                    Dear Sir,

                    With great distress I am writing to you about my experience regarding the flight I took from Sharjah to Kochi on April 4th 1:20 am (PNR:HSLNTH). When I booked the ticket, MakemyTrip officially mentioned that I could take a total of 7+30=37kgs with me. I have the e- ticket with me stating the same.

                    However as I was checking in at the counter, Jet airways staff reported that I could only take 10+15=25kg and had to pay 80 dirhams per additional kilogram. I had to finally throw away my stuff at the airport waste box as I couldn't afford such a huge amount at that time. It is really unfair to write 37kgs on ticket and say 25kgs when boarding.

                    I cannot explain the stress I went through at the airport. I felt being thrown in to a scam by both Makemytrip and Jet airways. When I contacted the makemytrip customer care, they apologized to me but said that they have no responsibility on this issue and it could be a technical error of their machines. They concluded with an attitude of, "better luck next time!"

                    Reference ID of my complaint with MakemyTrip:[protected], PNR :HSLNTH

                    Possible solution: I expect Makemytrip to refund me the additional baggage cost I would have to pay had I opted to pay the same which is 15kgs*1440=Rs. 21600+ an indemnity of Rs.75000/- for the false information and all the stress I had to go through.

                    If makemytrip is not willing to compensate me, the only option for me is to file a case in the consumer courts for a hefy amount for cheating crimes. I hope makemytrip will consider my issue seriously. This should not happen to any other customers of Makemytrip in the future. Neither to me as well.

                      Hi i m pawan dingra ..i booked 2 tickets of international flight to Singapore on 16th feb booking idNN[protected]..it was promotional offer that i[censored] use hdfc credit card on Thursday i ll be eligible for cashback of5000..so i booked tickets on Thursday 16th feb using a deal code HDFCINT ..After 21 days MAKEMYTRIP customer executive are like i didnt applied d deal code while booking d tickets so i am not eligible for cashback n they are asking me to submit a proof of dealcode being applied in form of screenshot whereas it wasn't mentioned in their t&c that its necessary to submit a proof..This is just a case of cheating n unprofessional behaviour from MAKEMYTRIP where they promise u of cashback but they don't fullfill their promises n cheat the consumer ..didnt expect such behaviour from a well known company like MAKEMYTRIP..i don't think i ll use MAKEMYTRIP for my future bookings n will ask all other consumers not to trust any cashback offers from MAKEMYTRIP..

                        I booked a package for andaman & nicobar from mmt. At the time of quotation they provided me the itinerary and confirmed over the email that the all rooms in the itinerary are ac rooms.

                        But when i did the full payment i received the hotel voucher with non ac rooms for one of the hotel (Symphony palm beach resort) in the itinerary.

                        Now when i raised the complaint, they are asking me for extra rs 15000, for the ac room which they have already confirmed and committed.

                        Kindly requesting you to help me to get the ac rooms in same hotel without any additional cost at the earliest.

                          Respected sir,
                          Myself dr. Sushil kumar mewara... Had booked ultimate kashmir trip - nl[protected].
                          My travel expert was probir bhunia.
                          I mailed probir the comparative mails of other service provider, package much less than mmt, the way he convinced me to go for mmt was not fair at all...in the name of kashmir circumstances - terrorism n other natural calamities... I. E... Indirect threatening... He did not mentioned any other superiority of mmt as a service provider... He mentioned mmt as the only saviour in kashmir...
                          Yes there was other issue of dinner & houseboat stay also, i asked his senior official mail id, in response i was provided with mr. Kuntal parikh, he said that i had gone with mmt due to security issue indicate by my mail to probir, my answer is that kuntal sir, my mail was a reponse to the theaten given by probir to me.
                          Did mmt people provide such training of indirect threat the customer so they come to mmt... Its a malpractice...
                          Your local official are not properly following this serious matter
                          Its a seroius matter... With a brand like mmt.
                          Please provide me the mail of your higher authorities and genuine complaint section.

                            I have booked air tickets for my Grandparents from Coimbatore to Chandigarh on the 3rd of February 2017. My booking id in Make My Trip website was NF[protected].
                            The Flight details have been attached.
                            On the 25th of March 2017 when my grandparents reached the Coimbatore Airport, the boarding pass showed timings of the Indigo Flight from Hyderabad to Delhi as 3:30 pm instead of 1:15pm. (the Boarding Pass picture has also been attached). The Indigo Flight was now landing in Delhi at 5:30pm instead of the scheduled 3:25pm. The connecting flight (Spicejet) from Delhi to Chandigarh was scheduled to take off at 5: 55pm.
                            My grandfather approached many counters at both the Coimbatore and Hyderabad Airports but to no avail. The personals at the airports failed to help my grandparents because the connecting flights were of different company. Eventually my grandfather called me and told me the situation.
                            When I called the Make My Trip Toll Free number for help, they plainly replied that the changes in timings are made by airlines, and that they cannot help us. When I requested them to connect me to the Indigo airlines, the Make My Trip representative put up a conference call with Indigo Customer Care Representative. The Indigo airline representative replied saying that they changed the timings of the Hyderabad Delhi flight on 16th of February. When I asked them why they did not inform us the representative said that due to some technical problem they failed to inform us. When asked for help the representative said they cannot help us because we had called them on the flying day and it was too late to help us.
                            But now my grandparents (both above the age of 75) were stranded in Delhi airport with no way to reach Chandigarh. I arranged for taxi from Delhi Airport to Chandigarh. This cost us an additional 12, 000 rupees. The taxi ride really affected my Grandparents both physically and mentally. My Grandparents finally reached Chandigarh at 3.00am midnight (26th April) instead of 7.00 pm (25th April). A delay of 8 hours and a really unbearable physical and mental pain.
                            When I called the Make My Trip Toll Free number on 26th April as asked by the representative on the 25th April itself regarding the cancellation of Spicejet Flight from Delhi to Chandigarh they confirmed the cancellation and promised a refund of 1870 rupees. Now again when I asked the Make My Trip representative of why they did not inform the change in timings, the representative replied saying that they only help us in booking tickets and will not inform change of timings in a bad way. When I told them that I will approach the consumer court they said that it was our mistake in booking a number of connecting flights.
                            We have only got a refund of 1270 rupees instead of 1870. Now I request Consumer Complaints Forum to intervene and provide my Grandparents with compensation for the harassment and the physical and mental stress undergone.
                            I hope this complaint acts as a deterrent and the problem is not repeated again to any other OLD person in our country.
                            Looking forward for a reply from Consumer forum.

                            Please understand that for any last moment changes done by airline, travel agency does not have any control on that moreover airline always inform to customers first in spite of travel agencies.

                              Dear All,

                              This is to notify the entire make my trip operations team and respective management team, that the entire operation team is not managing the requests efficiently and leading to complete dissatisfaction in terms of its service and value.

                              I'm doing business with MMT since more than 8 years and my concern is in reference to charges i have made which was eligible for cask back and its already passed 30 days and have called more than 7-8 times following up for the same reason but every time i'm been left disappointed.

                              1. Transaction made on 9th Jan'17:
                              The transaction made for amount of INR 5, 676/- at Make my trip using offer code CITIMMT and as per offer was suppose to receive 3000/- cash back within 21 days however the same is not been credited yet and more over I have made several such charges in the past and all my credit has been credited much before the time.

                              However its very disappointing that a Co like MMT whose being recignised for its service are manupalative, and more over your offers are distracting people and later forcing them to fight. Simularly as my case where when I applied the code CITIMMT to get the 3000 cash back it successfully applied stating you'll receive your cashback with 30 days and now when i'm eligible for the same they say its not applicable as per T&C, it shows that tour systems are manupalative.

                              However if the issue is not resolved will mark a mail to all your management heads including board of directors Including Deepak Kalra, Rajneet Oak and Ritwik khare and will make sure its published on Facebook and Twitter as well

                              More over every time I call have to keep discussing the same issues again and again and there is no resolution offered and lastly now they ask me to provide transaction details which the banks should have it rather asking the customers

                              I accept the quick resolution or would need to take appropriate action.

                                The boarding time is 9 pm, and im waiting at the pickup point since 8.30, when i called on a given number by make my trip it was wrong it has 11 numbers..this type of disgusting service i never had in my life.. And when i again called on a given helplines it was also not responding. I dont know why such things happend with me such a disgusting service i get.. And after an hour i got the call from driver that location was different we were standing near some place then i reached that place and catch the bus and the bus driver was giving silly reason and all. And i waited the bus since an hour ..disgusting service😡

                                  I was trying to book a ticket (Round trip) from dubai - trivandrum on 9th march 2017 through makemy trip with ticket cost aed1, 195.00 equivalent to rs 22, 000.00 unfortunately the booking failed. When i contacted makemy trip customer care i was informed that the booking amount is in makemy trip vallet and will be refunded with in 3 days. Now its more that 19days and i dont have any proper response from makemy trip. Each time i call from dubai for a follow up for my refund make mytrip, there is long delay in getting connected to responsible personnel and more than 40 min's hold to speak to any concerned person to get an update.

                                  Since i have a very huge call bills for the refund follow up, i want to add my phones bills as a compensation along with my refund amount. Kindly requesting you to help me to get the refund amount along with the compensation at the earliest.

                                    We booked two packages ID-NL[protected] AND ID-NL[protected] online on 05thJan2017 at Makemytrip to Andaman. Prior to confirming the booking’s we called the customer service to confirm about the included activities and got different replies regarding the activities mentioned online. Eventually one of the customer service representative confirmed that the Ferry bookings were included in the package. While confirming the booking, the ferry booking was appearing as an additional activity and we got confused whether the Ferry bookings were included. Subsequently we received the hotel and cab info but the ferry bookings were missing.

                                    From 05 to 07Jan we were on the phone with the customer service of Makemytrip and every time the conversation was for about 30-40 minutes and different replies were being given to us. During all the calls, We informed the agents beforehand that if the call got disconnected, they should follow up and arrange a call back from their seniors which was never done. On 07th evening, one Madam Anju informed that the Cab person would hand over the Ferry vouchers to us and she gave the number of one Bobby Lal. Immediately we called Bobby Lal and informed him that we wanted to travel from Port Blair to Havelock in the morning time and return in the evening time. He noted the preference and we told him to inform us as soon as he receives the bookings.

                                    We reached Port Blair on 10th morning and kept calling Bobby Lal to inform us about the itinerary to be followed and the ferry vouchers. He did not pick up the phone and we wasted 3-4 hours trying to confirm from him about the visit to Ross island which was included in first day activity but there was no reply from him. We called MMT and told them that we were cancelling the package and going back to Mumbai, else we would follow our own itinerary and later sue MMT. They informed us to buy Ross island tickets and said these would be reimbursed (Expenses incurred Rs.1100/-). The point about reimbursement was later validated by Mr. Pandi from Bobby Lal’s office. Also Mr. Pandi informed that the ferry booking from Port Blair to Havelock was for the afternoon on 11thJan. We ourselves ran from pillar to post and tried to get it for 11th Morning but could not get the booking.

                                    Upon reaching Havelock we were informed that Snorkeling was not included whereas the activity details was showing the inclusion of the same. Later upon lot of communication, we were informed that snorkeling would be included.

                                    To summarize, lot of time wasting in communication and uncertainty about the bookings and the activities inclusion, whereas in the original plan on the MMT site, the view activity tab showed all the inclusions. MMT agent Bobby Lal is good for nothing and if at all it was his off on the day we reached, he should have informed us prior and assigned someone else to take care of the itinerary instead o[censored]s calling him and getting no response for several hours. The vacation and few days prior was totally spoilt and kept us busy on the phone (This can be verified from your records)
                                    I urge MMT to immediately compensate Rs. 1100/- for the amount spent for Ross island trip and penalty of Rs.10, 000/- per person

                                    Moreover as a compensation we would like to offer you the future travel vouchers worth of INR 2500/- per booking.
                                    This vouchers will be valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and you may use those vouchers against domestic flight & hotel booking with us.

                                    Kindly give us go ahead for the same.

                                      Make my trip had an offer that on Wednesday if tickets are booked by AXIS CARD on applying coupon code MMTWED, Rd. 1200 Cashback will be given in the card. I applied the same coupon. Even it showed that the coupon was applied successfully but did not receive the Cashback. False offer mentioned which caused losses and I ended up paying too much fare.
