The trailing mail is self explanatory, but on the contrary I have not received any refund as mentioned in the below mail.

I would request to clarify on the same with immediate effect as I have to do booking from Lagos to Bangalore or Lagos to Mumbai for 5th June 2017.

    I am receiving irrelevant emails regarding changes of my departure and arrival. Only there are only 9 days left to my flight departure and i am receiving emails regarding changes in my e-ticket. Kindly look into this matter very seriously cause any changes without our concern make my trip would be fully responsible for it and would have to compensate for my flight as well as the entire trip.       The flight was cancelled in feburary and we requested a cancellation by then but still haven't received the refund. All we hear is that the the airlines have not refunded the amount but we booked through makemytrip and except that they gaurantee the refund appropriately.

      Every time I call customer care, the agents give some random one month period for refund. And I have been constantly asking them to give me an estimated date that they can process the refund.

      There is no followup unless i call and wait in the customer care number for an hour to get connected to an agent before atleast I could talk.

      I expect makemytrip to handle the issue with the airlines at the earliest and process the refund as soon as possible. Without knowing any information, or eta, I cannot keep waiting infinitely to get my money back. This is really frustating.

        I had requested for cancellation of my flight (Nf[protected]), at the time of cancellation refund amount was showing 1780/- and have selected the reason "flight postpone/pre poned", they have sent confirmation mail on 27th @ 12.47 pm about my cancellation with link to check the status and refund amount.

        Have checked the same and refund amount was showing 1780/- only, on 28th got a call from customer care representative (Mr. Amit) and he was explaining about refund amount and he was clamming refund amount would 480/- instead of 1780/-, when i have asked the same question how come 480, mr. Amit disconnected my call without giving any proper reason.

        Now, they have initiated the refund amount 180/- instead 1780. No, where in the mail mentioned or confirmation over on my cancellation, when the system committed 1780/-, mr. Amit committed 480/- and system initiated 180/-.. How???

        They least bothered about customers and simply disconnecting the calls without giving proper resolution.

        I would request someone to take this initiate and take the action accordingly.

          My name is Arun Ramanathan. I tried booking my ticket today for the sector Mumbai to Coimbatore for Indigo airlines flight (12:00 HRS departure) for 30/05/2017. I used Canara Bank Net Banking and amount of Rs. 9, 948/- has been debited from my account but until now i have not received my ticket confirmation nor refund.

            This is the worst experience i have ever faced. Since morning i was trying to book flight for my wife (Monica sharma) for for jet airways early morning 5:55 am flight through make my trip app. I made payment and this time after the successful payment, it holds the screen for long time by showing message that processing you request and after hold for almost 2 mins i got a screen of confirmation of booking for different timing as evening flight. I do not know what wrong is with the app and how this happened. When i called customer care they say you have selected evening flight i am saying i have selected early morning flight but they are not agreed. When i called to customer service they said they can not do anything. Please help me in this case sir. I am attaching all document with proof of screenshot.

              I am a frequent traveller and out of 365 days in year travel almost 350 days. The biggest blunder of my life I did is to book a hotel thru make my trip. My booking I'd was NH[protected]. I have stayed in hotel from 21st to 24th may. On my repeated requests, and complaints at customer care, make my trip not sending copy of invoice on my registered I'd. I have called over 17times on customer care, even the supervisor told me day before that it will be sent in 3_4 hours and he will also arrange a confirmation call. Nothing as of now.
              Should I approach consumer court for the same or you will send the invoice copy on my ID??? And if yes, in how much time.
              I WILL NEVER OPT FOR MAKE MY TRIP SERVICES AND WILL TELL FELLIW COLLEUGES ALSO TO BAN /NOT TO USE ANY SERVICE OF YOUR COMPANY.

                I have booked a return flight to Kuala Lampur for 18th Aug and return on 26th Aug. Ticket No: NN[protected]. This was booked under the offer: SUMMER and with the condition that I will get a cash back of Rs. 9000 per ticket. I had booked it specifically for the offer. When i put in the code it told me that it is available only for Citicard and I paid it with Citicard and it accepted the booking. However, after booking it came up that it is not applicable to KL. When it can pop up for the right card, why is there no pop up telling me the destination is not applicable? I would like a refund for the same. I am a MMT app loyalist and getting treated badly. Your 1800 no is not working and I have registered complaints on your FB page and Twitter.

                  I booked a ticket on 23 may of rs 15, 426 using makemytrip. The amount was deducted from my bank account but i was unable to book the ticket. They (Makemytrip) sent the entire amount to my wallet and are not processing the amount to my bank account. Although they are saying that the amount will be reflected in your bank account within 1 day. Now they are saying that it was automatic generated mail. I don't have enough money in my account to book another ticket. I am waiting for the amount they should send me.

                    I tried to book two way tickets from chennai to Singapore, after payment is made, i got a message that the booking is failed and i will get full refund for the amount i paid. But after a day, when i checked my booking reference, it showed that one way ticket is confirmed and the other way ticket is failed. But that is not my problem and the initial message didn't conveyed the same. So refund was given for the journey where the booking failed, but for the other one, they didn't refunded me till now. I called them next day itself and explained how i will go with just one way, and within next 24 hrs, the prices had gone up and hence i asked them to refund me fully as it was a failed transaction. They cancelled that ticket also, but nothing progressed further. I tried to call them several times, everytime, i am getting standard message that they will escalate to the concerned department and i will get the refund. Till today i didn't get my refund or even what is happening there, nobody called me so far and no proper response from them. My booking reference is "NN[protected]" and ticket booked on 8th of May, and the cancellation for one way is initiated in the system on 10th of May, today it is 27th may and no progress on that refund.

                      This is to inform you that while booking a ticket (2 passenger, booking id nu[protected]) today there was an error "system error and booking not done and amount refund initiated"... I recd a similar mail and a text msg from mmt confirming the same...
                      Then i have booked the same ticket in a different bus (2 passenger, booking id: nu[protected]) which was successfully booked with confirmation of tickets from mmt... This bus was boarded at 26th may, 9:40pm...
                      Now i recd a call from a different bus asking where are we as we have booked a ticket with them as well...

                      Now i am confused that whether the ticket was cancelled or what is the refund status...
                      Kindly confirm the same asap and resolve the issue!!

                          This is to inform you that my i have done the booking with make my trip for the first time and i had a very terrifying experience. I had booked a ticket for my mother mr meera boruah from my id for 8th of june for guwahati - kolkata but the booking came on my name pranamika minhas. Then i immediately called up and spoke to sakshi customer care. She told me that yes she could see that the booking was made in meera boruah 's name but due to some reason the ticket was issued on my name. She said she will get back to me but no one called back. Today that is 26th of may when i called up to check my complaint i was told that nothing can be done but i still insisted that they should trace the call and find out but again no respond. I called in the evening again and they said it would take 24 hours more. I got this to ticket thinking it's going to cost me less but if i have to cancel again then it's going to cost me double. I would also like to put in note that i m flying guwahati delhi the same day 8 th. So it's not possible i take two flights at the same day. Please find the attached copy of the tickets. I had got my moms ticket for 6 th but postponed it for 8th sending a attached copy of the same. Please help me to resolve this it is to much of money for a small time person like us to spend so much with minimum earning. The airlines is saying name change is not allowed. And i need to cancel and re book my ticket.

                            I booked an international hotel through MMT in for which amount was approx INR 16000 for 2 nights for 3 people with breakfast.

                            When I booked the hotel, amount was immediately deducted from my account. After a while when I did not receive the confirmation, I realized that the hotel was not booked yet the amount was deducted.

                            I thought that I would book the same hotel again but I found that the amount of this hotel was raised from INR 8000 per night to around 12000 per night.
                            So, I could not book this hotel.
                            I had to book hotel for 'next day' so even booking was urgent.

                            When I contacted customer support from Germany (I live in Germany), I was told that I should book another hotel. Previous amount was deducted and I was asked to book again and wait for refund of previous amount.

                            Even now I agreed to it and thought of booking another hotel of same category that I was booking earlier.
                            Now I realized after the search that the minimum amount of hotel for this category was approx 11000 per night without breakfast and with breakfast it would be additional INR 3300 which means around INR 24300 for 2 nights with breakfast for same stay which was earlier in INR 16000 for 2 nights and with breakfast.

                            Which means I should pay an extra of approx INR 8000 just because of technical error of make my trip.
                            I again talked to customer executive and he told me on the record that he will get some compensation for this.
                            He shared his mail id, and since then I have been following up on this issue.

                            It has been a waste of my time, money and more importantly a mental harassment as the gentleman after doing big promises just do not respond to the mails anymore. Last response I received officially from MMT was this

                            'The case has been escalated to our corporate head office team our highest level escalation team'.

                            It has been a month and I have no update from MMT. I am really saddened by the behavior and would like to file a complaint against them asking for compensation for the time, money and harassment they have caused.

                            I had done several bookings on it earlier and even my friends in Germany book through this site on recommendation but I think its high time MMT changes its complacent behavior with its customers.

                            The booking that was cancelled automatically was : NH[protected] at Hotel Drei König
                            The next booking that I did was : NH7P[protected]

                            For the cancelled booking, my own mail id was used. For the other booking, my husband's mail id was used.
                            However, the phone number mentioned in both the bookings is same.

                            Also, please let me know if I also need to send the series of mail communication that I had with MMT support team . Given below is the first written communication following a long conversation with the team.

                            Dear Guest,

                            Greetings from Makemytrip.com..

                            This is in regards of the booking ID: NH[protected]

                            For the above booking, the payment was successful from your end, however due to technical glitch on the website the booking got failed, now as discussed you need to make a new booking & for the same there are huge difference in prices that are reflecting, hence would request you to go ahead with booking a property which is having the least price difference from the amount paid in for the failed booking.

                            Acknowledging the above issue that the glitch was from MMT’s end, we are looking in for compensation for the same, for which we will be updating you in the next 24 hours.

                            P.S: Though these 24 hours ended almost over a month back, I have no clue of any progress or decision made on this.

                            I have booked train ticket dated on 13/5/17 journey date 21/05/2017 kpd to Raipur booking I'd NR[protected] deduct my money in account but not generate ticket pls refund my money 8442.83 rs.

                              Hi,

                              Booking Id: NF[protected]

                              The amount of 2682 was displayed on my screen while making the payment and I applied my make my trip wallet as a payment tmode and 217 was the share which was deducted friom my wallet. How ever I got charged for 2682, instead of 2465 which was after all the deductions and was the gross amount.

                              Please help me through and maintain some integrity and terms for payment on the website and respect the laws of business.
                              This is very dissappointing that, something else is displayed on the screen and something else gets deducted from the account and finally when i finally got the receipt that was of totally different amount

                                  Hello, make my trip
                                  on 19th of may 2017 i made a booking for a flight from chennai to dimapur
                                  which was cancelled and requested for a refund, i was given an automated message and checked the site for refund status, it was shown that the refund was successful but the numbers are not reflecting on my account.
                                  My refund is supposed to be rs.13830, but it is still not reflecting in my account, its been 3 days now please look into the matter.

                                    On one international flight booking, I received 2500 my wallet balance with the expiry date of 3 months from the date of booking. When I login, I can see the mywallet balance of 2500.
                                    Eventually I happened to make some other international flight booking. On the payment page, it showed me the message that ' I have 2500 my wallet balance, please login to use'. To my surprise, when I logged in it said I didnt have any money.
                                    I tried to log-off/login, but of no help. I tried to book after some time but that too without any help.
                                    Called customer care 4-5 times. Every time they kept on transferring my call to multiple dept, but none seems to care / or provide any resolution. Each time they disconnected it after multiple routing.

                                    Is the mywallet some kind of fraud ? Has anyone faced the same issue?
                                    For sure, will not use makemytrip again.

                                      I wanted ticket numbers of individual passengers for flight from Chennai to Delhi on 05.6.2017 and Return journey ticket nos. of above on09.6.2017 with individual fare to enable us to lodge claim in our office.

                                      Inspite of repeated telephone calls your office is showing scant regards to the customers who are made to waste their time in listening to bloody music.
                                      If I do not get the above information by 8.00 pm tomorrrow, I will take legal course of action.

                                        Iam very saddened and bitter to inform that inspite of beign a dedicated and continued customer of make my trip the kolkata office has done the most pathetic outrageous atrocity. In our 9 days tour from 10th to 18 may, 2017 last 2 days were scheduled at Kasauli in chandermukhi resort. But to our utter dismay we found that the resort was located 25 km away from the main Kasauli town in a derelict place called Jabla beside the highway. The reason when asked given was that since it falls in kasauli tehsil, so technically nothing wrong!! Just imagine if i ask for a hotel booking in kolkata and i am given a booking in Baruipur since it also falls in kolkata pincode!! Did we book to stay in aksauli tehsil or akasuli town? Just to cut money and profit, MMT ruined our entire stay in akasuli as we were so far away from town right in the bottom of hill whereas the cool town was up in the hills 25 km away!! So much for beign a valued dedicated customer...
