I have been recharging for rs.300 change plan (I. E., telugu bpo plan). And i am trying to recharge for free channels like zee telugu and ntv and other. Nd i came to know that these are free and no need to pay by a customer care representative of sun direct call center guy. And he activated for one month. After the next month free subscription channels had automatically disconnected even after recharging. And tried to reach sun direct customer care but the lines are not getting connected. My question is when u guys are informing it is free y wont you add them automatically when a customer recharge his plan. Please find the number to contact [protected]. Its really frustrating to me and not happy with sun direct service.

    My smart card no is [protected] cssn: [protected]. Registered mobile no [protected]. I installed sun direct dth by paying 2300rs for economy pack with 1 yr validity on 30.09.18 so my dth mail box (See attached picture) shows plan ends on 30.09.2019.

    Today i got message and call stating that my plan expires today. (26.07.19) almost 2 and half month earlier. I called customer care representative said that due to trai regulations my plan changed on feb. So they themselves migrated my connection to some new best plan 196/month. He said it is d minimum pack. So 1 ly ends early. But there r some plans 130/month n 168/month. How could 196/month plan is best when it decreasing my 2 n half month validity. I never received any message about early ending of validity. More over 196 plan english channel s such as hbo movies now etc. But it is not coming in my tv.in fact moves now blocked after february. So please take necessary action to get my promised validity back n other things. Thank you in advance.

    In phonecall they said complaint forwarded. Here it shows taken as feedback. Which 1 is it?

    Installation done by 6pm on 25/07/2019. Activation not yet done even after lapse of 48 hours. Continuously calling customer care and installation staff. No response from your side. Very poor service comparing to other DTH services.
    Kindly cancel our DTH and refund the amount. (Rs.1075).

    Team, We had installed Sun Direct DTH on 25/07/2019 by 6pm for the amount Rs.1075/- (Rupees One thousand seventy five). Your staff intimated us that by 11pm your connection will be activated. We have been waiting for more than 48 hours. Still nothing happened from your side. We keep on calling your staff and customer care, but no response from your side. This is our first experience for Sun Direct and it is worst. Kindly refund our cost and disconnect this DTH. First impression is very bad impression. Do the needful.

      Yesterday I call in sun direct. I tell them to activate star India Hindi value pack but they activate Telugu package then I call in the care I said them about wrong activation .then they said me please call tomorrow today pack can't change then I call today first they said you receive call in 1 hour from company tell them about your problem but I can't received any call, then I call back this time they saying same now company not pick my phone

        I recharged my sundirect on 20th july the amount has been debited from my account but the channels are not activated i have been following up with sun direct for the last 5 days thru phone and email and the people haven't been helpful

        Now i get a call stating the payment hasn't come through and that it will be reversed within 7 working days

        I had to go through so much mental harresment with these people

        The agent are also absolutely unprofessional

        After 5 long days of struggling with your horrible support staff i was told the amount is not received and that the amount will be refunded back, if this was what had to be told they could have done it within 24 hrs they didn't have to pro long it for so many days. I have done be what is necessary and do not wish to talk to incompetent agents from sun direct!

        But still not received please check and confirm

          Hello,

          On 12/11/2018 i had paid rs 3700 toward subscription of one year malayalam hd sports pack with the expiry until 11/11/2019. (Sundirect [protected])

          But, i received a message that my subscription will end on 16th july.
          Without any further communication, my connection was disconnected today.

          This is a clear case of cheating and breach of contract from your side.
          I would demand you to immediately reestablish my services and compensate me for the unjustifiable denial of service.

            I have subscribed to SUN NXT App from my phone and the amount is getting auto debited from my account. I am trying to watch a movie on my device today and it says the receipt has already been used by other user. I tried to restore to my account and the app does not allow this and gives me an error.

            my subscription is available till 4th August and still unable to view anything on the app.

              Hello team,

              My name is nishanth and owning sun direct connection and smart card number is [protected]r. I have been raising complaints on few issues. 1. I have recharged yesterday star pack tamil & telugu premium, turner and bennet coleman & co. Amount debited from my bank account upi ref id[protected] amount 154. Now the amount is not reflecting in the sun direct app. When i raised complaint the call center people called me and disconnected the call, chat has been closed asking me to contact concern team but who is that concern team and wrote email no response. At the end of the month you disconnect connection exact day of activation. I am really now frustrated for opting sun direct. All this occured in the month of july 2019.in the month of june 2019 after activating the star pack i didnt get apart from the vijay channel for 20 days i was keep writing emails without blame excuses. Please note it this issue is not resolved on 11th july 2019. I am filling law suit against you and will also ask for compensation

                    From past 3 months we are been continuously facing this issue and also have raised a complaint regarding the same. However, the executive does not even bother to address this. Your company is very prompt in disconnecting the subscription when the due date is arrived, why the # are you not that prompt in providing your services. Just recharged this morning for a 449 pack and again same only 2 or 3 channels i am able to view.

                    Is there anyone who can address this or do i need to approach another medium.

                              I would like to register a complaint regarding my sun dth connection.
                              Please find the details below.

                              Here is my complaint:

                              I had requested for an upgrade of my sd box to hd. So i made a request on the 2nd of july. I got an sms confirming my request.

                              'dear customer, your complaint sr[protected] for 'upgrade sd - hd+' has been registered with sun direct. For service assistance call [protected]'

                              Then i received an sms letting me know about the engineer..

                              'dear customer, mr. Ranjith s, engineer mob: 7*£, will visit you on 7/2/2019 07:00:00 pmfor sr[protected]'

                              The engineer mr. Ranjith came the next day ie the 3rd of july. He removed the old sd box along with the card and fitted with the new hd box.

                              New hd box cdsn number : [protected]

                              He also charged extra rs.250 for some booster near the antenna. I agreed for that and payed him 1100rs for the upgrade. He said that the connection will be active in 30 mins and asked me not to switch off the tv. The tv displayed an error e017 - sector not found.

                              He took the old sd box along with the card and remote and left.

                              Then i received a series of sms.

                              'topup done for rs.499 (Incl of gst 18 % paid by company) for smc no / cdsn: [protected] / cr-id: cr[protected]. Transaction ref no:[protected]'

                              'topup done for rs.699 (Incl of gst 18 % paid by company) for smc no / cdsn: [protected] / cr-id: cr[protected]. Transaction ref no:[protected]'

                              'dear customer, upgrade hevc for unlimited months has been activated successfully on your account from 3/7/2019. Please ensure your set top box is on. Happy viewing. For assistance contact [protected] / [protected]'

                              I don't know what these sms means. Anyways i waited for the entire day and still the tv was displaying the error e017

                              I called up the engineer next day and asked him the status. He gave me some [censored] that he has mailed the head office and requested them and it would take 30 for minutes. This was on the 4th of july. I again waited for the entire day and still my account was not activated or working. I called up the customer care of sun dth and they said they can't help me since the new hd box is not activated. To my surprise i never expected this kind of a reply from sun customer care. I called up the engineer and asked him. He again said he has sent a mail to the head office. (God know which head office). Today is 6th july and still my box is not activated. The engineer never picks my call and ignores it. I again called the customer care today. The madam behind the call says she can't do anything and asked me to contact the engineer. But the engineer never picks up the call.

                              Now what am i supposed to do. Just ignore and move on with my life and think that sun dth have robbed my money and don't care about it's customer. It might be one of the case and rare. But i don't care. I need my money back and my old sd box to be installed. It is a very disappointing situation. But this is for sure. Once my balance is finished i am moving to a different dth provider or a better dth provider.

                              And know i now that i might get a reply from you saying that we can't do anything and i need to contact the engineer. I know as you are an employee of the company and you are bound to say that how can a company say that they can't do anything even though the customer uses their services. Really disappointing.

                              The sun executive have come and temperorily setup their HD box for now until they fix it with a working hd box later. They told me that when they get the new HD box they will come and replace it tomorrow. I am not marking this issue as resolved yet. I will update it until it is finally resolved.

                              The sun executive have come today ie the 7th of July and fixed their own hd box temperorily. They told me that they will come tomorrow and replace with a new working hd box. Until then the signal is working and i am able to watch the television for now. They should have done this earlier and it could have been handled in a better way. They had replaced a small equipment and connector in the dish antenna and that is why they have charged 250 rs and gave me a satisfactory explanation. I really hope they finally fix the problem tomorrow permanently. Until then this issue is not fixed.

                              This is a very stressful issue and had to do multiple phonecalls.

                              I will update you when this issue is fixed.

                              Today is July 13th and still this issue is not fixed. Disappointed. They had placed a temporary box on the 7th and haven't called us since then. Pretty bad service from sun DTH. You don't have a new box for the consumer? I don't want the temperory box which have a different subscription. I need my own box which I paid for and my subscription.

                              After 15 days of delay, the issue is resolved yesterday after constant follow up. There needs to be some kind of system with sun direct where they communicate with the engineer properly. It is not the job of the customer to be a bridge between sun direct and engineer. This case has proved that. Thanks for the people who have worked to resolve this issue.

                                  Such a worst dth i never seen, i have taken pack for 1 year, in middle they changed to some other plan with out notice and plan decreased to 8 months and asking for recharge again. Sick with this dth. Don't go for such and irresponsible dth. Even i complained to customer care team on this, now it's not to talk about them and those people are sleepy.

                                    I am using sun direct since last two years. Your engineer has installed the system. Now due to signal loss the service engineer asking me to shift the antenna for that i have to pay money for cable and labor charge.

                                    I contacted with the servicing center at trivandrum on mob no [protected] and she too insisting for money. We are paying monthly subscription for an uninterrupted signal which is the duty of the company. If you are asking for money for it i am compelled to disconnect this service.
