    Dear sir/madam,
    Tikona is expecting me to pay a bill for services i never used. Their services were never available since july 2015. Now they ask me to pay rs 4000 or they will take legal action. They keep calling and sending emails. This is getting very annoying. When asked to repair the modem no one even bothered to come to my home. I mailed and called them to take the cables and modem still no one came.
    The photos below were the perpetual state of the connection.
    This is very unfair to a customer. Why do such companies always get away with such harassment? Can't a customer be protected against such behavior?

    Tikona id was [protected]. I am being harassed to pay a bill.
    I have always paid my tikona monthly bills without fail every month.
    We are not people who will use a service and not pay bills for it.
    This particular bill has been raised for a period in which I have not used the service.
    There were two engineers who were sent after so many calls to tikona, who could not even identify the problem. He said there was a problem in the server at Beck bagan. Hence the connection remained unused. If the login page loaded, I clicked on login and then the error called server not found would appear. This was persistent for over two months. Such and such that I took a new connection in the meantime.
    I called tikona toll free number so many times telling them about needing disconnection. Then finally after so many months he said you have been taken off rental and your service is disconnected, someone will come to collect the modem.
    No one came after that. Now I get an email saying that the connection has been terminated for non payment of bill, and another stating that legal action will be taken.
    How can a connection be terminated for non payment of bill when I disconnected it in February?
    As it is tikonas reputation is in the drain and then you guys do things like this which makes it even worse.
    Do you understand that good service and word of mouth advertising is the best way to advertise a company? If you overlook these matters you are going to people telling others not to even for trial take your connection.
    Your entire company has misunderstandings and miscommunications between yourselves and you put customers in jeopardy. I wouldn't waste my time with these issues but this is ridiculous. You provide no connection and Harass me to pay a bill for something I did not use at all.
    Please start getting your facts right before sending threat emails.

    You still have not resolved the problem. I got a mail that my services have been terminated due to non-payment of bill when your official confirmed it was terminated in December itself.
    Please do not play with customers and mentally harass us.
    I have called your customer care to ask them about this but no one picks u my call, if they do they cut it.

    My full and final calculation fee is nothing because of no connection at all for two months July till september 2015. I have sent you numerous mails regarding this.

    You send me legal letters when it is absolutely your fault. Why should I pay when I never used a service?
    I am already taking action against this, unacceptable behaviour and mental harassment caused to me by your company.

      Every time I call the toll free number it says it's busy.i request for payment pickup and comes after my due date and bills me an extra 100 rupees for paying late. And the company promised me that they will set up my router for free, but didn't do that fit six months. After 6 months, their technician brings a person to set up the router and charged me six hundred rupees.i want full cashback of 7 hundred rupees or else I am gonna file a case against the company

        Dear Team,

        I have taken the internet connection from Tikona on 20th May and my account ID is [protected]. Since the day of the connection i have been facing issues with connectivity and speed. I get disconnected every hour or saw and at times every 10 mins. The customer support/tech support team is also not helpful. as it is it takes 30 mins on an average to get to an agent and it is not helpful as the problem persists.
        On asking for a supervisor, they never have one and if you insist they drop the call. i am fed-up with this internet connection since you can not fix the issue since 15 days now.
        I paid in advance for 3 months and they are not willing to refund my money as well.

          I had raised complaint against this issue previously also but i got call after few days when i was outstation. Your officer informed that toll free number [protected] is active and asked me to try again.
          I tried today after coming home and found its still not working.
          I have airtel prepaid. I can dial all other toll free number of other services. I checked with my airtel customer care and they mentioned that may be tikona's contract with airtel might have ended.
          I tried same number from other mobiles and found it works. But i have only airtel so i wont be able to use other people devices when i need to register complaint.

          Please fix this asap as i am facing lot of issues in my area in past 2 months that i had to take another internet connection as a back up and it adds up to the cost when i have to try tolled number to register complaint every time.

          I have been facing speed drops every 30 40 minutes. Speed can drop upto 200 300 kbps also which makes me unable to work from home as video call drops all of sudden for good 5 10 minutes.
          Speed automatically comes back to normal after 5 10 minutes.
          I have been trying all suggested solution since last 2 months.
          Connecting to LAN, rebooting adapter etc but every time I made complaint, it was found that its not related to my rofftop device or router but its a backend problem.
          This backend problem is still not solved properly and I see many users are complaining in forums about this. Please take action ASAP.

            I personally request to take this complaint on high priority.

            i frequent disconnection issues and reported many times but am am not satisfied with the support/service.

            i am fed-up with this internet connection since you can not fix the issue from 6 days

            I don understand what you think about the customer you ppls only need money nothing else.

              I have taken tikona internet connection... As the internet speed was worse... I paid all the bills and asked to stop the service.. Even after calling many times... They did not disconnect it...

                I have seen more then 1000 complaints at your site from various cities of India regarding bad service, rude behavior, extra charges, threats from advocates. Sir, I wants to know you cant take any action against Tikona ? or advice peoples what to do ? where we have to make complaints ? which govt. department or minister is issuing license to internet service provider. Some how or some where we have to stop this. Where we can make complaint at state level or center govt. We all complainer will be very grateful to you.

                  I have to say Tikona is the worst ever provider.

                  I got the connection 2 months ago and within 2 months I have raised 6-7 complaints about the net connectivity. The latest issue was reported on 30th May and 1st June and the internet has been down ever since.

                  Multiple technicians have come and gone and tried to blame my laptop, router etc . I have tried 3 routers and 3 laptops. If the router was the issue atleast the laptops would have connected directly right? no they did not. First they wanted to know how old my laptop is.. maybe my old laptop is the issue. So I had a work laptop and recently purchased a new one and the internet did not work in any of these .

                  Calling customer service is irritating as they keep asking to do the same steps over and over and refuse to see the history(if they have it) and infact at times flatly refuse to acknowledge that there is a history and say the internet was working (so I should be lying and the technicians who came to fix are a figment of my imagination).

                  I had airtel BB for 5 years and had problems only 3 times in the entire duration and both times the fix was within 4 hours. Sadly I had to move and airtel has a low coverage else there would have been no reason to disconnect.

                  I am writing emails to Tikona as well and there is no reply. I need my money refunded or the connection fixed without errors. If the fix cannot be done I need the refund so I can go ahead and simply purchase a 4 g or some other connection. It's better than banging my head against a wall.

                    Customer id - [protected]. Payment for this connection was made on 3rd june 2016 by us. Your technicians botched up the installation procedure, consequently till today being 5th june 2016, i. E. 3 days since i made the full payment the wifi connection has yet not started. From 3 days continuosly i m being provided no assistance either from your technicians nor customer care attendants. I m deeply disappointed by such lack of professional conduct and non provision of service from tikona. Either start my wifi connection within 24 hrs or refund my money so that i can avail such service from a better professional wifi service provider.

                      Myself Gautam, using the service the Tikona since Jan/Feb 2015. Since last 4-5 months, I have been experiencing major issues related to connectivity with login and speed.

                      I have made several complains to customer care but there are no assurances which can be trusted upon. Due to this problem, i am now frustrated and does not wish to pay bill on time. If i will not pay bill on time, these tikona cheaters will call on daily basis and request me to pay, but what motivated me to pay, if there is no service.

                      Nair ji.. i want to ask one simple question, if a sugar bag cost Rs 40 per kg and vendors give you 500gms in Rs.40/-, whether u will accept it, given u have paid amount in advance.

                      similar case is with Tikona, these cheaters will take all money in advance and will give connectivity on their wish.

                      During April 2016, I face lot of issues with speed and connectivity therefore i have closed your connection w.e.f April 2016

                      But surprisingly, Tikona Management never feel sorry for their service and has sent me a bill for full and final settlement. Today i have received a call from a person in Noida asking for payment. But, when i called customer care, they are unable to respond.

                      Why i should pay this bill.?
                      What happen to my all complaints ?
                      why people are so irresponsible?
                      How long will this fight continue??
                      why customers are not paid according to usage mbps instead of plan?
                      how many times customer has to chase??
                      why technical support was not educated enough to correctly diagnose the issue?

                      Hope my words will make you to take faster action.

                        Hi. First and for most, my cust id is [protected]under the name of nivriti mukherjee. I had used tikona for some time but after november 2015 i got shifted and there was no conectivity at my new address so i had to get it disconnected. The executive who came for the disconnection took the device and wire which was about 15 meter or more long which was paid and not free from tikona. He said that he would update all the details for disconnection with tikona and we would receive a call. We kept waiting but that call never came. But thought that it was through. Now suddenlly i recieve a call from some advocate that they are sending me a notice for non payment of my bill. Now i asked them they said that they can't do anything the payment needs to be made or else i will be sent a notice which as a decent person i don't want so i made the payment. And updated them with the details. Now as a cust care you tell me who is at fault, me who trusted tikona or that executive who took advantage of the situation. I am paying extra for no reasons.. If i try to contact cust care then that no. Is also not responding. Who should we ask? The name of the executive's name was umesh.
                        His contact no. Is [protected].
                        And when i called to ask what happend he talked to me very rudely and said he doesn't work for tikona any more and disconnected my call.

                          I have used tikona service last year. The service was very poor. After that i ask them to disconnect the service & i have paid bill till date which i have used. Then they ask me to pay for whole month that also i have paid. Now they are asking me to pay rs. 400 as late payment fees. Their advocate called me from delhi & said we will file a case against you in kakkardooma court delhi & harresh you a lot. Company is registered in mumbai & i am also staying in mumbai but purposely they are doing so in delhi. When i write to tikona to give email id of ceo mr. Prakash bajpai or waiver of late payment fees they are not replying. They are doing such things with many customers.

                            I had taken a tikona connection on dec 7th 2015. After multiple attempts, i was unable to connect to internet at promised speeds and was also facing frequent disconnection. I check with the tikona team and they said it is a technical issue with the rooftop device and a service engineer will be assigned to resolve it.

                            Complaint no - 1-[protected]

                            I also raised a request for disconnection of the service on 9th after no one turned up to resolve the problem. After multiple calls and requests, the problem was no addresses even after 12 days. I wrote a mail to the appellate authority regarding the problems faced with tikona team -

                            I have been a tikona user since the 7th of december 2015, with account no[protected] under the name of amrutha b b.

                            I have been experiencing pathetic service with tikona, be it transfer speed and connection issues or with customer care!

                            First, let me tell you about the connectivity issues i faced with your brilliant internet connection -

                            1. The connection gets disconnected every 30-40 mins and does not work for 10-15 mins until the connection is regained. I use a wifi router, i have tried connecting the ethernet jack directly to my laptop, which magically still did not work.

                            2. I have never recorded more than 1.81mbps on your own speed test. This was the peak speed i experienced though i have paid for a 4mbps connection.Interestingly, many speed test failed because of "time out" during download and upload! And sometimes during latency test itself!! The connectivity was so slow and absolutely crap!

                            I also contacted the person who had come for installation, explained him the issues and requested him to come check the connection, he just kept saying either "i will come in sometime" or "i will send someone" every time i called him, which didn't happen over 2 days.

                            Hence i decided to move out of tikona, and i called your customer care to request for the same -

                            The day i called and placed a request for disconnection. Your rep, asked me for an opportunity to resolve the issue, but i said i dont want to continue with tikona and requested your rep to take a disconnection request.

                            I got a call from your mumbai office, asking for a chance to resolve the issue, if not resolved, the connection will be terminated as per my request. I agreed to it and your rep said a "senior technician" will come and check the connection within 48 hrs. But no one turned up to do anything with the connection for more than 48 hrs! False promise

                            Called tikona care again to check what happened to the promise of sending a senior technician, the interesting response i got was - "sorry for the inconvenience sir, i will raise another request and someone will visit your place within the 48hrs"..!!!

                            I asked what happened to the previous request, but she didnt have an answer and repeated the same thing about another request. I replied, i am not interested in any more resolutions from your team, i want to go for disconnection. Also i asked the status of the disconnection request, your rep said it was "in progress" and again she requested for another chance to resolve the issue. I politely rejected and requested her to put the disconnection request on high priority, for which she said she would update.
                            False promise

                            Called tikona again, asking for the status of my disconnection request, i got the very same reply - "in progress". Again requested the request to be placed on high priority and the disconnection to be done asap.
                            False promise

                            17/12/2015

                            Inspite of repeated requests for faster resolution and termination of my account, the status was still "in progress". For my shock, she said the process with take about 30days. Be practical, even a government agency will resolve the solution much much faster...!!

                            Again being asked for another opportunity for resolution, i told the rep to transfer me to her senior, while she said she was a senior executive, i asked her to transfer the call to her superiors. I get the most unethical reply i have ever heard when speaking to customer care, "all the seniors are busy right now sir, i cant transfer your call to anyone"..!! Seriously..?? I was promised i would get a call back from someone within the next 2 hrs, which never happened for over 24hrs!

                            The best example of how you train your executives to handle an angry-questioning customer..!! 3 called were disconnected, 2 while the your rep was trying to convince me about something, which neither of them completed, and another when i was placed on hold for over 5 mins to check my details and the call was disconnected..!!
                            Pathetic customer service and problem resolution

                            The 4th call i started with "i dont want to be disconnected this time" and asked the rep to transfer the call to a senior.Interestingly, i got the same reply "all the seniors are busy right now sir, i cant transfer your call to anyone"..!! Is every senior executive so busy or are there no seniors/team leaders/managers hired at tikona??

                            After arguing for sometime and being placed on hold for a very long time, i finally got a call back from tikona from your mumbai office. I was happy that atleast there was some progress this time.

                            The executive asked me the same thing again, another chance for resolving the problem, which i promptly denied and requested for termination of my account as soon as possible. She said she has updated the request and i will get a confirmation mail with in the next 48hrs and the needful will be done. Its been 3 days already and no mails or messages from tikona as promised..!!!
                            False promise by a senior executive

                            To summarize, there is no difference between a junior executive to a call back person in tikona, all they have to give the customers is full of false promises.

                            After all these dreadful experience from your team and executives and technicians, and facing so much problem for being a tikona customer, i am writing to you hoping for some serious and responsible resolution of my problem. Kindly terminate my account and settle the remaining money. You are my last hope at tikona mr. Jaykrishnan. If you are going to reply the same thing as your customer care people did, i will definitely take this issue to consumer forum.

                            A very frustrated tikona user.

                            I got a call from the team within 24hrs and was promised that the account will be terminated and the difference amount will be refunded. Also received the following confirmation mails -

                            1. Dated - wed, jan 6, 2016 at 1:43 pm

                            Sir/ madam,

                            The appellate authority has conducted an inquiry based on your appeal docket number 1-[protected], with the service provider, in line with the telecom consumers complaint redressal regulations, 2012 issued by trai dated 5th january, 2012.

                            In this connection the appellate authority would like to state that the service provider has addressed the service disconnection request and on basis of your request they have stopped charging you rentals for the service. You will be charged upto your disconnection request date or upto your billing cycle date or upto your last usage date whichever is later. If you wish to use the service anytime, you can do so. You would be charged 5paise/mb (Excluding tax)@ a speed of 4mbps only when you actually use the service.

                            The service provider is continuously working on the technical / commercial issue faced by you for providing better quality services.

                            The service provider has acted in accordance with the trai regulations by responding to issues encountered by the complainant and has closed the complaint.

                            With the aforesaid decision this appeal stands closed.

                            2. Modem return request on tue, feb 16, 2016 at 7:58 am

                            Dear amrutha bb,

                            Service disconnections has been initiated for your tikona user id [protected] as per your request.

                            You will not be able to use the services now.

                            You will not be charged any recurring/rental charges after the final bill period in which usage is seen or request for service disconnection was registered (Whichever is later). A full month (As per bill period) shall be counted in case the usage/ request is for part of the bill period. Your bill period is indicated on your tikona service bills.

                            We shall compute and intimate you, within 15 days, your final payable amount against above service account. You may receive an interim bill in this period if your bill cycle is already due. Any recurring /rental charges after your final bill period, if applied in the interim bill, shall be waived-off.

                            Please note that a penalty of rs.1500/- will be applicable towards breach of terms of service in case you fail to return cpe /modem and all accessories in working condition. You can contact our authorized representative mr. Roopa / karthik at [protected] to return the cpe/modem & other accessories.

                            For subscription under the advance rental scheme, where service disconnection is initiated before the completion of the term, waivers and rebates provided under the scheme shall be reversed.

                            Service disconnections shall be completed and your account shall be closed on receipt of cpe/modem and all accessories by the company and payment of all outstanding balance.

                            We thank you for giving us the privilege to serve you and we look forward to your association with tikona in future.

                            In this connection the appellate authority would like to state that the service provider has confirmed that termination of your account has been initiated.

                            The service provider shall communicate the policy on full & final settlement and recovery of cpe/modem & other accessories.

                            The service provider has acted in accordance with the trai regulations by responding to issues encountered by the complainant and has closed the complaint.

                            With the aforesaid decision this appeal stands closed.

                            When ever i call customer care and enquire about the refund status, i get a reply that as per company policy, the refund cannot be processed as my connection is in the feasible region.

                            But sir, kindly tell me, when my connection was in the feasible region, why didnt any of your executives come to resolve the problem for 17 days? How sensible is it when none of your executives turn up to resolve an issue and then give the reason that as per company policy, the connection is in feasible region for refund cant be processed?

                            Interestingly, i havent received a copy of the bill until date..!

                            Also attached are the images of a few speed checks for your reference about speed and connectivity issues i faced and cpe removal form.

                            Please look into this matter and kindly resolve the issue and the refund the difference amount along with a statement of the charges.

Interestingly, I was informed that i have been charged Rs.500 as installation charges during my refund calculation. As per your executive/broucher/plan, I shouldnt be charged any installation charges. So kindly recalculate the refund amount.

                            But i get this mail, dated Fri, Jun 17, 2016 at 3:49 PM -

                              I got tikona installed on 31st may night and did not get an opportunity to use it as it was late night. My user id is [protected] next day i went to office and came back at 8. When i switched on my system i was unable to connect to internet. After calling customer care, they said there is a back end problem which will get resolve in 4 hours which meant not before 12 in night. A working person who has to go office will not get up so late to use the internet. Same thing happened on 2nd night. I was too tired to complain against them as to get your call connected you have to wait for nearly 20 minutes which is more frustating than not getting an internet connection. Today after returning from office at 7 pm, i called tikona and asked for return. They transferred my call to senior department which did not take my call. On getting annoyed my brother tried the number from his phone (Which is not a registered number) and his call got connected. After talking to mr. Vineet (Extension number 4512) for 30 minutes, he agreed to initiate the refund but at end expressed that he cannot do so since request is not done from registered number and disconnected my call. I again called from my registered number, waited in queue for again 3 minute and the representative abused me and did not agree that it is his mistake and forced me to use the connection. I have given advance for 3 months and i dont see anything positive happening.

                              Please solve my issue.

                                I have taken tikona broad band connection on 27/may/2016.Internet connection worked only on the 27 properly, after that it was not working it is disconnecting regularly.
                                I have called to customer care number[protected] but most of the time it will say number is wrong. And if the number connected after along wait some one will pick up and in middle of the call they will disconnect without giving proper support.
                                I want my money back since i lost my online training sessions due to this stupit tikona bb.

                                  I am not using any of the service provided by tikona care info. However, i receive almost a call per day for matter not concerned to me. Earlier through their customer care, i had requested them not to call me or if my number is inadvertently placed in their data to their any of customer then please remove it.

                                  But, now it is out of my temper as they are continually harassing me by calling again & again which often distract me from my work and ultimately i have to suffer.

                                    Its been one month i am struggling with my connection.

                                    Everytime i need to use wifi, i have to call tikona cc for connection for good 20 min.

                                    The story goes on connect with this, do this, do that, but why should i do that everytime.

                                    I want to get rid of my connection, please get my refund initiated of 3 months advance payment along with installation charges.

                                      I am frequently having service disruption in internet service. Whenever I raise a complaint, a 24 hours deadline is provided to resolve the issue. But my connectivity will l be lost again after a couple of days. Every time they will say some technical issue and service will be disrupted for hours. Not a reliable connection and cannot use internet for office use.

                                        Respected Sir/ Madam,

                                        As per the above subject, the TIKONA Internet service is continuesly disturbing me and my family for the unwanted and unused bill payment. This is a mistake of my life i had connection with this bad internet service provider, their side and I have already complained 7-10 times from the past 1month i was going to close and complete my tenure and they were getting my email but doesnot respond me that time,

                                        and after a month they generated again bill for the monthly bill cycle(They already cutted internet connection one month ago). around 1000 rupees and now once a week they are disturbing us to calling by court and company for claim to pay amount that are not genuine.

                                        at the time of connection Each time they say they would correct it within 24 hrs and they have not shown any progress in this matter. When I ask them to connect me to their seniors also they put me on hold for more than 10min but still they have not taken the responsibility to correct their mistake. I am facing this phone calls since 1st of Fabruary 2016 and since then I have complained 7-10 times. Even today, ie 02nd June 2016 I complained twice for TIKONA internet agents but no positive response.

                                        Hence I request you to help me out in this matter as soon as possible.
