Worst service... got a voltas new A/c... from ur mylapore showroom.. after many fake commitments... today 2 guys came without any ID and job sheet...and claimed Rs.4050 without proper invoice... filed a complaint in consumer forum n RTI... DO REPLY

    Deduction of Rs8/- per week without my consent
    Dear Sir,
    Is the Govt. orphan before the bastered owner like Handygo who are looting the people.

    I want to submit that Boss Ka Toss from[protected] has deducted Rs.8/- per week many times without my prior consent or any subscription from my side. How BSNL allows these deductions which is totally illegal. I request you to please stop sending these types of SMS to my Mobile No: [protected] and refund all the earlier deductions made from my account. Moreover, i intend to know who is the bastered owner of this particular site and as to why they are approaching me without my consent. If such type of owners are unable to feed their families they should change their profession and can opt to live like a coolie or a hard working labourer like me who is depended upon its hardworking without blaming another.

      If you believed that Viveks was a "good" place to buy kitchen equipment more so because your parents and grandparents bought from there, think again ! In the last one month, 8 Oct - 8 Nov, I bought three different gadgets at Viveks, Adyar and the service is pathetic. First, Preethi Induction stove, I specifically wanted a 5 Amps model and they told me Preethi is the best. I was advised to buy it with promises of extended warranty and good after sales service. Since Day 1, the stove kept getting switched off exactly after two minutes of working. When I took it to Viveks, they said they don't do service and I had to go to Thoraipakkam. After showing the warranty card at the service centre, they told me that the serial number pertains to an old batch. I had to prove with the bill that I had bought it recently. It turns out that Viveks had dumped an old product that was somewhere in their warehouse on me. I requested the service centre to look into the matter and they said the circuit board had to be changed. After changing the circuit board, the service centre staff was zapped because the problem persisted. They then changed the display unit's I/C. Now, it turns out that Viveks not only dumped old stock but also a defective piece on my head. Other than the cardboard packaging, everything had to be changed in the stove.

      Now as for the other two products - a geyser and a fridge, Viveks didn't deliver it even after two days of purchase inspite of repeated follow ups. And for the installation of the geyser, nobody attended to my request for 10 days after which I got an electrician to install it. Do not ever attempt to buy anything from this lousy shop.

        I have purchased Siemens Dishwasher in viveks & co Adyar , chennai , last week.
        I paid full cash on same day. Dishwasher was delivered next day with some damage .
        I requested them to replace this machine with new one for past one week...
        they are not responding properly...

        i want may money back, how to get it pls help me...

          Recently Bought Belkin Basic Router (N150) from Viveks (Vadapalani) for 2400 rs, after purchasing I noticed their price is outdated and 800rs higher than the actual price, The same product in other electronic shop Chroma is 1600rs which is location just few kms away from Viveks. Few difference in price is acceptable but 50% hike is way too much, I felt very cheated, and the Vadapalani manager Mr Loganathan was not helpful too, he says there is nothing wrong in selling with 800 hike, very annoying experience.

          Check the price in Chroma, it is just 1600rs, but here in viveks is 2400rs

            I bought a dish TV connection on 09/06-12. Till date 23/06/12, it is not installed. Generally all set top boxes will be installed in a day or two. Once you buy anything in VIVEKS whatever is wrong you have to live with it. The supervisors are well trained in lying, giving rude answers with smile. Once you buy anything there no supervisor will take responsibility if you ask for replacement or service they will surely say i won't do it. my job is over. Either viveks trains such people or unaware of these people's behaviors. Either way its the customer who is fooled.

              Bought a Air conditioner in viveks showroom in April 2011. In may 2012 we got cooling problem and raised a complaint in viveks. They charged 1000 rupees for 1 year free service and repaired the AC , but the very next day again the AC did not work. We raised the complaint again they came and repaired the AC and again the next it didnt work.

              This happened for three times. I don't know how to get the AC repaired from them. AC is not working for 1 month. They are not able to find the exact problem and fix.

              The worst service center in chennai is viveks. Never buy a AC In viveks.......................

              Viveks — No service

              Customer ID - 28491 Had purchased from Viveks in August 2010 a Haier AC, a LG washing machine around Dewali in Novmber last year and a Whirlpool fridge around new year January 2011.

              As regards the washing machine the person from Viveks who came to install the washing machine fleeced money under the garb of selling a wire mesh fitted wheel stand.

              And for the AC although the same was installed in August last year and despite the promise of 3-4 free services in a year till date only 1 service was done in December last. Thereafter no service was done. I had complained about this on many occasions through July to September 2011 and the fake response I get from Viveks customer help line is that the AC was serviced on 12th August 2011. This is absolutely false and as a matter of fact nobody had turned up to service the AC at the installed address i.e. Bharat flats, f block, R.V. nagar, kilpauk garden exten., chennai.

              I trust the biggest mistake done was patronising the business of Viveks. Henceforth shall never do any purchase nor ever recommend your business concern to anybody for your service is most shoddy, deficient and unprofessional. Just a little bit of advice please shut down this disgusting Viveks Service centre for its business perceivably is nothing but a fraud on the public, to cheat gullible customers and it stinks.

              Appreciate the prompt response to the email sent. Must thank you for sending across your service personnel Kumaravel and Rajamani. They were courteous and did a neat dry service although I expected a full service like the one performed in December last. Anyways am that there was a response and that the service was done.
              Please suggest a way to get the work done from viveks

                I bought an APC 850VA sine wave inverter worth Rs.17500/- from Viveks Ltd., vadapalani, chennai on 12th of March, 2012
                bill no. [protected]. Till date, the inverter is not installed in my home and nobody called me for the installation.
                Initially, Viveks employee(Kumar - [protected]) told me that inverter will be installed within two days
                so I'm happy about the service they provided when I'm purchasing. But after three days when i called the
                concern person(Murugan) he asked me to install inverter on my own. I surprised because that was not the response
                when i was there while purchasing. So i called Viveks customer care[protected] and complaint about the same.
                They told me that I'll be getting a call within 48 hours, but nobody called me. So even after three days i again called
                customer care but this time they told me that they have taken the issue to delhi branch(APC).
                I haven't seen such a worst customer service where they are taking customers for granted and giving false commitments.
                Even i went to the branch on 21.03.2012 and met the floor manager, he told me to contact Mr.Antony([protected]),
                when i called Mr.Antony([protected])who is in-charge in Viveks for APC Inverters. He told me he'll be sending a person
                for installation. But no body came and when i called Antony([protected]) on 22.03.2012 he asked me to call
                Mr.Srikanth([protected]) but he is not at all picking the call. The story may be little bit complicated but see how a
                customer is treated in Viveks. Till date my inverter is not installed in my home. Please somebody help me in this issue.

                I want to return the inverter and I need my money back Rs.17500/-

                Hi Vivek's Team:

                My name is Vinod Devendran [Mobile: (0) [protected] - reside in Bangalore], I purchased an AC 1.5 TON Whirlpool [Cost Rs.33500/-] for my parents who resides in Saligramam, Chennai in Vivek's Vadapalani showroom on Sunday May 29th, 2016.

                Vivek's team informed me that installation will be free if the purchase is done within May 31st, 2016. AC was delivered on Monday May 30th, 2016. Multiple calls were made for Installation and finally a crew came done on May 31th, 2016 for installation.

                The installation person requested my parents to pay Rs. 950/- [Rs.600/- + Rs.350/- for the stand and fitting cha - rges]

                What is meant by Installation free in Vivek's terms?????
                Why this was not communicated at the time of purchase?????
                When Vivek's team informed us that we need to purchase single booster for the AC and it will cost somewhere around Rs.1400/- and we agreed to it and paid the same.
                How many A/C's were sold in Vivek's till date? and they don't face any issues with other customers like this before???? why this was not communicated to us at the time of purchase?????
                Whirlpool service people called me around 07:45 May 31th, 2016 and checked with me whether AC has been installated? When I informed them why the additional amount was not communicated us at the time of purchase??? they informed me to check with Viveks and it is not their problem. A female from whirlpool installation office spoke to me and informed SORRY when i questioned her about why this was not communicated at the time of purchase???
                She told me that take this phone call as communication and informed that if you pay the amount specified above then the installation will happen otherwise her installation person will move without installing the AC.
                Until and unless customer pay the money the installation is not going to happen itseems??? again and again customer like me are fooled by the Showroom/Dealers and the product service team.

                Who's fault is this in not communicating to the customers on time?? Viveks???? Whirlpool??? NO finally it is CUSTOMER and it's ME. AM I RIGHT????

                My concern is why this was not communicated at the time of purchase????
                When Vivek's or Whirlpool turnover business for crores and crores in a month and not ready to bare the cost of Rs. 950/- for their miscommunication/ their fault then why should customer take this pain when not communicated properly/on time.

                  i have booked a whirphool washing machine on 1st January with Viveks Vadapalani Branch with a promise to deliver in a weeks time. on repeated reminders and calls, they deliver a other color product. When we call the customer csre, they assured to replace this in a day or two and asked us to return this product when they deliver. We are struck with that and till date we are not able to our product and could not get a confirmed date as on date. we are calling them regularly and even after 30 days, no action is taken.

                    Hi,

                    We booked an Air Conditioner with Vivek's, Omalur Main Road, Salem Showroom. We paid an advance of 500 Rs for the same to Vivek's. After 2-3 days we could not arrange for the money and also found out the price in the salem showroom was expensive than the same in Chennai. So we cancelled the order and asked for the refund of the same amount. But the showroom folks, knowing that my mother who is the purchaser is a single woman have arrogantly responded saying that they will not refund and are forcing her to buy any product . This is a complete violation of the Consumer rights, wherein the consumer has the choice to make his purchase on his convenience and affordability. This way Vivek's is making sure that they will not refund the 500 Rs advance paid by my mother and mentally harassing her to take another product which she is not willing to take. Grabbing 500 bucks from an old pensioner in this way is consumer rights violation.

                      Wow, I think these guys prey on foreigners; perhaps their service is worthless across the board. Seems like it from reading the posts on this board!

                      Still waiting for a call from the local service folks based on this email to Mr. Anand at Viveks, [protected]@viveks.com:

                      Disaster is the only way to describe my most recent encounter with the Viveks service department.

                      We purchased two Samsumg ACs in April or May, had them installed a month later. One did not work on install, the compressor was replaced with what we were told was a new unit. That AC worked for 2 weeks and failed. It was repaired, it worked for a month or so and failed.

                      A senior tech came and inspected the unit and said it needed to be replaced as it would never work properly. He would return on Thursday. He did not call, he finally did show up on a Tuesday with a more expensive unit. My very kind wife informed him that the unit he was about to install as much more expensive than the unit we purchased. He called his dispatcher and was told by the dispatcher to "tell her you installed the unit, but just leave and do nothing."

                      So, a service tech comes to my house, is prevented from making a costly error, then lies to my wife, and finally leaves with a job un-done. When I returned home, I found the service tech left the remote for the AC on the floor, used my desk in place of a ladder, and left black hand prints all over my office wall.

                      When service techs arrive at my home, I invite them to wash their hands, offer the soap, a towel and cool drink of water as I know it is hot on a two-wheeler. As opposed to respecting my property, they lean on the wall, dirty my office, damaged my AC remote, and scratched the top of my desk.

                      The last time the tech was here, the dispatcher asked me to document all the damages on the service ticket and she'd call me back the next day. That was about a month ago; I've called in at least twice and have received no reply.

                      I don't know if this AC is working, or not. A senior tech says it is garbage, a junior tech says it is OK but then treats my house like garbage. Oh, I guess since we don't get the respect of a call-back, we're being treated like garbage as well.

                      What is up with these guys and how come I cannot a straight answer or the damage to my property repaired? Next call.....? We'll see.

                      Still no reply, we've been jerked around by these jerks for over 5 months. Samsung, pull their dealership, customer be very aware, viveks the unlimited shop is very limited when it comes to service. They say: Vivek Limited is a professionally managed public Limited company carrying two retail brands -> I'd suggest they start with professionally managed customer service and then worry about telling us how good they are!

                      Once our concerns are addressed, I'll update this post to let everyone know. For now, shop elsewhere!

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        We've purchased a new refrigerator on 8th October 2011 in Viveks, Purasaiwalkkam. They delivered the product on 10th October and on 13th October a person visited our home for demo. He noticed that the product has been damaged and raised a complaint on the same day. I've contacted Viveks customer care as well as Godrej customer services. They gently replied "shortly i will receive a new fridge". Till date nothing has done, So i request your necessary action on this matter.

                        Response from Viveks, Purasaiwalkkam branch is also too bad, when i reach that place and contacted few persons regarding the above issue. They were not even trying to solve their mistake. So please take some action on the respective branch/company and do the needful to me.

                          I bought Kodal C195 Camera at Viveks, West Tambaram, Chennai , Tamil Nadu. After coming home i found a dot in the LCD Screen. I took the camera for replacement , but instead of giving a fresh peice the Viveks guys gave me the Disaplay piece as replacement. When asked for the fresh piece they said we have to give this to service center and get it repaired( when i asked that is the case with items which were used, but i have not yet used this one, but all went in vain). Moreover they behaved very roughly as if they are giving freely. Another thing is I didnt received a pouch and scratch guard. This is the worst experience i had in purchasing a gadget. We had an idea to buy many cameras ,but not only we change shop , we also want to change brand. Though you may not take any action i wanted to share my very humiliating , irritating , stomach burning experience.

                            Hi,

                            I have a feeling that no body in India is willing to give any good quality thing - be it service or product. Actually this is my first encounter after leaving India some 13 years ago. Although I am not expecting them to be on par with any of the foreign Appliances company, I think they should at least maintain a good SLA as they are one of the leading Appliances company in the city of Chennai. Let me go with the complaint. I bought 2 Hitachi 1.5 ton airconditioners, a refrigirator and a washing machine from this comapny on 4th May 2011. Even before the goods are actually delivered, I got calls from the refrigirator and the washing machine companies asking me to give a window for the demo. What a speed!!!!! Anyway, I don't have any issues with them. However, I have nightmarish experience for the a/c installation. A guy came and inspect the house and came to the conclusion in just a minute - saying that the a/c can't be fit in this house. See, it all happened during the soaring mercury in Chennai. Somehow after a long discussion with the Mylapore branch manager and the Vivek's service manager, I got this person agreed for the installation. He came out with a message for me at 7 PM saying that he can't do a particular job that require some plumber (I wonder why a plumber needed for a/c installation). I got annoyed due to the time he came to inform about his inability. Since he is the person doing the job, he ought to know what's needed and not. Then I asked him to get out of the job. I spoke to the manager in person and another team came to do the installation. Everything was done - although I shed a huge amount of Rs.18,000/- for the additional copper tube that's needed. After a week's time, one of the a/c is not throwing cold air. It was as if not running. After the complaint and a normal SLA of about 3 weeks to attend, a service person came and informed me that it's due to the low voltage and that it needs a double booster.

                            Here comes the sales person's poor selling techniques. Had I been informed that I need one such double booster I would have bought on the same day itself. Now what am I supposed to do with the regular single booster / stabiliser? There is no proper coordination between the sales and the service departments. Sales guys give falls promises to the customers on the delivery and fitting. They don't have much knowledge on the spectrum of products they are selling. Now I have to go on another war front once again to get this done. Had this been in someother country, things would have been completely different. For all these, I strongly believe the head is not vigilant. Had the Director or the CEO be strictly implementing a customer focus, knowledgeble sales team, good minded service team, I think, Vivek could have been doing much better than what they are at this juncture.

                              FOR THE PURCHASING OF ONE MICRO OVEN OF RS.8700/- FROM T NAGAR VIVEKS BRANCH, (OPP JOY ALYKKAS- NOTH USMAN ROAD)I HAD GIVEN MY SBI DEBIT CARD , BUT THE COMPANY HAD DONE A SWIPE OF 25000 BILL WHICH BELONGS TO THE OTHER CUSTOMER. THEN TELLING THAT THE AMOUNT CANNOT BE GIVEN BACK BY CASH, THEY HAD MADE A VOID SALE FOR THE SAME AMOUNT. THEN AGAIN I PAID THE COST OF MY PRODUCT. IT HAD HAPPENED ON 6/7/2011 AT 7:50 PM. WHILE DOING THE PAYMENT THEY TOLD THAT IT WILL BE CREDITED IMMEDIATELY. BUT TILL TODAY IT HAD NOT HAPPENED, AND FOR THE OTHER COMMITMENTS, I HAD LOST MY REPUTATIONS BECAUSE OF THE NONAVAILABILITY OF THE BANK BALANCE.

                                Sir am selvi, wish to purchase a SAMSUNG 22" LCD TV costs rs. 14900/- after disc from viveks, located near shanthi sagar, indiranagar, the sales person mr. karthik, MOB : [protected],[protected] guided me reg EMI schemes and asked me to submit the relevant documents, i submitted copies of my voter id, pan card, salary certificate given by the company, company id card, 3 months bank statement and a cancelled cheque on 3rd may 2011. But tll today, the sales person is saying 1000s of reasons and they are dragging, after several calls, they keep on asking so many documents even though i furnished all the documents pakka, but still i didnt get any positive reply whther i can get the TV on EMI OR NOT.

                                EVEN TODAY I called them to get my documents back, still they are saying that it would be sanctioned in another 3-4days, and asking me to wait..

                                It gives really mental torture to me from the past 10 days, i told the sales person if not possible please let me know to go with some other show room, but they are very careful in calling and asking about the details and carelessnes in getting the approval to deliver the TV.

                                PLEASE CHECK THIS TO AVOID THIS KIND OF CHEATERS...

                                  This is madhusudanan S. I have purchased Airconditioner from Viveks Ltd, Nanganallur branch in chennai on august 2010. During installation the dealer told me that they will providing service once in 4 months. But till april month i didnt get any kind of service or any response from viveks service centre regarding the service when i called them. After several call, finally job card created and service done on 29th april 2011. But after that service i found that manual switches in my A/c was not working. So again i called up Viveks services and raised the issue. After a week of followup they created a complaint on may first week Job No:372746. Till today no body has come forward to do service. I have called up the service center so manytimes. But no proper response, very lathargic, irresponsible behaviour from those peoples. I am verymuch dejected with those responses. Please help me in getting this issue done with.

                                    I paid amount for buying an IFB washing machine from Viveks & Co, T.Nagar on 21/05/2011. I myself called twice or thrice to them to deliver my washing machine... Then till today I myself alone call them everytime... But there is no proper response from them.

                                    They told they have raised a complaint... When I asked for the complaint no they told it has not been raised yet... I need a proper reply from them and want them to come home and make the machine ready to use ASAP...

                                    Will any shop/dealer accepts when we ask them to deliver the product and get payment after a week. Then why the hell we customers alone wait for them... Is this called customer service????

                                      I have paid for split ac samsung model at Viveks, porur on 15th May 2011 and they have delivered on 16th May 2011 evening. on 17th morning they have called on my mobile once when I was busy and I called them back to know ehen they are arranging to install the ac. But no reply from the number I found a miss call in my mobile. Later I phoned customer care to know installation of ac. They have said that they have called but I didnot reply so they did nothing further. I have said that they have called only once and when I called the same number they did not answer dont they follow up when it is not answered, no reply for that. Then they gave me time after two days i.e. 20.5.2011 9:00 am. But no body came for installation. I have to telephone couple of time and their reply was somebody will come to day at 6:00 pm.
                                      Such a poor service are not called customere care but customer scare, so that customere will run away.
                                      Any solution to such kind of menace, wasting customers time and put them in anxciety.

                                      SAMSUNG / VIVEKS — Servoce deficiency

                                      This is to bring to your attention that warranty of my AC - SAMSUNG Serial No. A166PZBQ40046H, purchased through Viveks Ltd, Adyar expires on Nov'09. I have called the service people many no. of times to come attend the complaint ( water flow from AC and no chillness ). But the complaint is not sorted out inspite of the repeated visits by service men for last 6 months. I request your intervention to send skilled service professional who can sort out the issue immediately and replace the AC.
                                      Viveks customer care arranged an a/c technician to attend installation on 20.5.11, but the technician contacted me whether he can attend next day i.e. 21.5.11morning 9:00 am sharp positively and I agreed. Finally he landed here at 11:15 am for installation of Samsung a/c. prior to that I received a call from viveks customer care promised me that they will follow up. At last the a/c was fixed and running.

                                      Thanks to "Consumercomplaints.in" for helping me in this situation, also I received helping message from Samsung.

                                      I hope in future vendors should realy take care of the customers and not to scare them away by ignoring their request.
                                      VIVEKS PORUR-WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                      This is Mona.I have bought Samsung split AC in viveks and it was installed on May23rd 2012. From that time it's producing worst noice like a switdhed on motor while running. I have complained many times. They promised to send the technicians. But nearly 10days gonna be over. Still nobody turned up. Daily I am calling and asking. Such a poor customer service viveks is having. Totally fed up

                                        I Booked Voltas Elegant Split AC on 7th May 2011 after getting the promise words from Viveks about the availability of Stocks . But still the product is NOT getting delivered. Really disappointed with the Service . If they don't have the stock they are suppose to inform right a way so that i can order some other products or else i go for some other Shop. Suppose to get it installed on Monday but it is not yet Delivered . Is this the right way? Not Sure .. they are not keeping their words ! And after we call to shop and ask they are not responding properly .. and they treated us worst .

                                        Viveks — water heater not fixed

                                        i purchased a racold 15 lt water heater on 27/12/2011 at Viveks at purasaiwakkam branch at chennai. i was told that technician will attend with in 48 hours. I called up your call centre as many as 10 time to send the technician but they not in the intention of fix the water heater. I do not like this kind of attitude of viveks sales executive to sell the product in haste and grab the money out of customer pocket and forget the customer soon after. I would like to return your product and get back my money.
