On 6.1.2021 I received a mail of Ms Anshika vide Ticket Number : [protected] informing me that as per records of Bigbasket, they noticed that I have been placing the orders for commercial purposes. Hence, the account has been deactivated. She further informed that they are unable to activate your account once it is deactivated and unable to refund the amount to your source account.
In other words the amount paid by me for over Rs 13, 000.00 is withheld by BigBasket.
Ms Anshika did not inform me how such a decision could be taken by BigBasket. The articles I ordered for were meant for a Mandir in Kolkata for Puja purposes. How can Ms Anshika / Bigbasket could take such a decision without asking for a clarification from me?
In any case Ms Anshika / Bigbasket does not have any authority to hold my money in their account. Everytime I am telephoning, I get a sweet worded reply. Some of the mails give a new Ticket number. I received mail from Mr. M Naresh Babu (Ticket No:[protected]), Ms Ritu Kumari, Ms D Amreen (Ticket No:[protected]). But till date my money is blocked.
