I applied fastag using icici bank web portal with required online fees on 12th december 2019. My icici bank fastag account no. Is 22357821. Vehicle registration no. Is dl4cax4480. After around 8 days, i. E. On the 20th december 2019 morning, the envelope/package of tag was received via blue dart courier to my registered address. But as soon as i opened the said envelope, it was strange and shocking to find that fastag was not present in the envelope. Only the following documents were present:
1. Icici bank letter addressed to me with all details of fastag. (But no fastag was pasted/present on it at the given space i. E. Fastag sticker box)
2. One pamphlet showing the “steps to place the fastag on your windscreen” and “dos and donts”.
3. One pamphlet showing “steps to recharge”.
It is very shocking to see that how such a large bank can miss the very fastag which was ordered and send only some papers which are useless without a fastag, which is the main thing.
What would i do with these papers without a fastag? First of all the fastag package was delivered after waiting for 8 days and that too has been received without a fastag in it.
Since then i kept calling icici customer care number (Toll free as well as chargeable) but either it goes on busy and busy for hours or gets cut without ringing at all. I went to nearby branch also, but they also don’t have any idea of what to do and informed me to contact customer care only. Hence, i am unable to reach and raise my query to anyone in the bank for the purpose of resolution of my said problem so as to get my fastag delivered to me. I showed my faith in this bank but i didn’t expect such kind of poor service and harassment/fraud from bank. I am a regular traveller through tolls and require my fastag urgently, hence i applied for it, but icici bank has done such a wrong deed to me and i am feeling helpless of what to do.
