While booking a flight ticket from trivandrum to delhi (Return ticket also) on july 3, 2018 an amount of rs. 9855 got deducted from my bank account vide particulars medr/makemytrip i/686008/ and no booking was made. On contacting makemytrip, they told me to wait for 12 working days but i got no amount refunded. Then on 25 july they told me that the amount got stuck with the payment gateway and they have escalated the case to accounting team. Now almost 3 weeks have passed since 25 july but every time i contact makemytrip, i get only one reply that they are awaiting response from payment gateway.

Please help me in having my amount back to my account.

I was booking flight from Jammu to Srinagar for 10th of September 2018 some how transaction got failed but amount of RS. 1216 has been deducted from my account and ticket didn't get booked. Could you please refund my money ASAP.

    Horrible beds, the beds were full of dirt, the wash room shower flush was not working, tap water is not working. Overall pathetic, dint expect this from makemytrip. Booked 2 rooms from aug10 to 12th. Arrived on aug 11th at 5.45am. Will never book room on makemytrip

    Get a complete overhaul o[censored]r live defects. Not sure i[censored] want to purposely cause headache to ur customers.

      I had booked a hotel on makemytrip and paid rs11, 094. But for some reason i had to cancel it. The policy says i will receive my amount back by 3 days but it’s been more than that and my account is still not credited. Whenever i call the customer care they tell me wait for 24 hours for the last 5 days. They call me and say that the refund has already been done on 3rd but my bank statement doesn’t reflect it.

        I was an extremely loyal customer and use to make all my travel booking via makemytrip because of which i was given the mmt black status. Because of mmt black makemytrip sent me an offer which entitled me to a free upgrade to vistara gold and that i just had to fill a form to get the status.

        After filling the said form i was told to wait shortly for a reply (I have realized makemytrip shortly can mean a few weeks at times) after waiting for a week i wrote a complain stating that i was not provided with the said benefit. I received no satisfactory reply for weeks, the only reply which i used to get was a copy pasted answer everyday for 2 weeks by mrs tanvi which wrote please wait for another 24hrs.

        After getting fed up of these emails i called the customer care demanding a justifiable answer to which the said that that the mmt black team would call me, i did receive a call the next day and it was mrs tanvi and she told me that i would receive the offer by the first week of august. As i did not receive the offer by the first week of august i again contacted customercare as i was not getting any reply from mrs tanvi (I must have sent her a dozen emails)
        And i told them to connect me to their supervisor. I was connected to mrs swarnalata who told me to please wait for another 24hrs though it had already been 15 days since i had lodged the complain, guess what after 24hrs she call me up and tells me that i had to wait till the evening and before i could argue with her she cut the call. I waited till the evening of the 8th of august i did not receive a call, just an email stating that i had to wait for another 24hrs.

        I really dont get it how can makemytrip treat its loyal customers which such service, i can only say that if takes them more than half a month to solve such a trivial issue and they are still struggling with it they are extremely incompetent and lethargic i suppose.

          I had booked my flight tickets (Chandigarh to leh and back) on 7 july, 2018 booking id nf[protected] for rs 52, 142... However, after the transaction was completed the amount got debited rs 26, 161 from my bank account twice on 2 july... I have been in contact with makemytrip customer care and they have not been able to provide me with any help in this regard. It would be really helpful if you could put an eye on this issue and help me get my refund from the company.

            I write this e-mail with utmost disappointment & pain.

            Make My Trip has let-down the faith & trust I carried for their organization.

            I would like to write a brief summary of my concern which hasn’t been resolved yet;

            o I booked 4 flight tickets on (13th July 2018) for my family from Bangalore to Pune & Pune to Bangalore (Travel date 18th - 20th July 2018 – INR 20, 884/-) for a family emergency.

            o Later at the end moment, we found out that our booking had an error after calling MMT. Unsure if it was a system error or human; which had incorrect flight timings.

            o I did call MMT on 18th July early morning requesting for help. As a last resort, I was told to rebook & cancel the previous booking.

            o Trusting & having immense faith in MMT, I rebooked 4 tickets on MMT again for 18th - 20th July for Bangalore to Pune(Along with return tickets) which costed me more i.e. INR 29, 080/- additional against the first booking i.e. INR 20, 884/-

            o I raised a cancellation request for my first booking, (Travel date 18th - 20th July 2018 – INR 20, 884/-) for which I was promised a refund of INR 12, 532/- & I have not received the same.

            o PFA screenshot regarding refund.

            o For 18th July it was a ‘no show’ for (Bangalore to Pune), however, I had canceled the booking in prior on 18th July for a trip on 20th July (Pune to Bangalore ).

            o MMT is giving me a hard time saying I have selected an ’ incorrect option’ during cancellation process & I am not entitled to refund.

            o I have been waiting too long to hear from the delight team, they did not call me in the first place & when I tried to reach the Delight team on several attempts I was disconnected & I did not get a callback either.

            o I have been ill-treated by MMT customer care & given a run around several times.

            I see that MMT doesn't care a damn about their customers.

            All MMT does is wait for their customer to do the slightest mistake & then wait & loot them over for your profits.

            MMT doesn't even respect the fact that it was a family emergency.

            MMT doesn't see the fact, in spite of a system/human error for the first time during the trip to Pune, I still used your portal again & rebooked the tickets.

            MMT doesn't see the loyalty of their customer & how many times one has used their portal to buy flight tickets/hotels.

            In spite of so many e-mails to the company heads, MMT doesn't have a simple courtesy to call back & resolve this issue amicably, but MMT conveniently decides to close the case on their own will.

              While booking air ticket from Hyderabad to Kolkata on 01.08.2018, due to poor net connectivity after payment the transaction was aborted at the final stage of completion. However my account was debited with Rs 7717.Payment reference no.BIL/ONL/[protected]/MAKEMYTRIP/NF[protected] 579 CO.
              As per normal case the aborted transaction the debit is reversed within 24 hrs or max 72 hrs. Already 7 days have passed but the money has not been refunded. Also the toll free number options are designed in such a way that the scope for lodging complaint for aborted booking can not be given. Also there is no option for speaking to customer care executive. Even in the make my trip site complaint email or process is not easily available and it is not customer friendly.
              Hence it is very difficult for a customer to access the company for any complaint also the toll free no. published in the site [protected] is not accessible and it is announced as invalid no. while dialling the same.

                referral cash not credited

                I referred two of my friends yesterday and ensured that they downloaded the makemytrip application and entered my unique code but i have still not received the 2000 points per application as a referral bonus in my account.

                I am still awaiting my 4000 points because once i get them i was planning to have at least another 10 or 12 of my friends download the application....

                I booked a dummy ticket in june, 2018 from mmt office in patiala. Mr. Harman ahuja who is resident manger booked it. He promised this ticket and charged rs. 2000 from me. Now when i went for get my ticket he said this ticket is gone. It was his duty to inform me that ticket will be expired but he did not. Please find ticket in attachment. My question is if mmt have to loot then why not rob banks with gun like dacoits? Why opened a shop instead? Mr. Harman was very rude and was not even accepting that it was his duty to inform us about ticket expiry. And please make a tab for complain.

                  I was trying to book tickets for my daughter's travel from delhi to amsterdam, and found some good options available on make my trip. Of these options, we decided to pick the vienna route to amsterdam; i. E. By booking austrian airlines. The ticket price was approx. 33, 000 rupees one way, and we booked it. Booking id: nn[protected].
                  After a few minutes, we received a whatsapp e-ticket. Rather surprisingly, on this e-ticket, the name of the airline we originally booked, i. E. Austrian airlines, was nowhere to be seen. Instead, to our utmost disappointment, the booking showed a spice jet booking from delhi to amsterdam (Via vienna). It must be noted here that on the very website of spice jet, it is clearly mentioned that the airline only flies to 7 international destinations; none of which are in europe. It also did not mention that the flight was perhaps operated by a different carrier.
                  Accordingly, it was quite interesting how make my trip was able to book my daughter on a flight which is nonexistent.
                  We also googled the flight numbers (Sg8582; and sg377), which showed domestic flights from kolkata to patna).in order to fool customers, make my trip was using the same flight number as the original austrian airlines flight (Os8582), but with spice jet airline initials.
                  We then called customer support, and after being transferred 5 times and being on hold for at least an hour, we received actual austrian airlines tickets from them team, which was a nice effort.
                  However, we still do not consider this issue resolved. Not only do we demand a properly sound explanation for why this unacceptable instance occurred, and how we make sure it won't happen again, but also expect sound compensation for fraud from this established yet cheating company.
                  I look forward to receiving a response and adequate compensation for this disgusting and unprofessional fraudulent behaviour, before filing this complaint to higher authorities and taking action on social media platforms.

                    We are really disappointed by the unprofessional approach & the bad services provided by make my trip as it causes so much inconvenience to the customers. My brother has booked the ticket from mmt website on 4th of march 2018 : mmt booking id nn[protected] for travel to pat - muc traveling in the month of july. When confirmed on the makemytrip app (Which mmt proudly promotes to the customers to manage, find updates and latest news for their bookings) the departure time was mentioned the same as during the time of booking.

                    His entire journey was a mess. While travelling from munich to patna, mmt gave him a spicejet flight. There is no spicejet counter at munich airport. He waste 1 hour to find out who would be providing the boarding pass. Luckily with the help from local staff members from munich airport, he went to austrian airlines. They told that they can only provide boarding pass this vienna. From vienna, he again was wandering at the airport to collect his boarding pass. When he reached delhi, his flight to patna was also rescheduled. But great god, he was already at the airport and found the updates on the information tv.

                    This crapy experience was still not over for him. When my brother reached the airport it was informed to him, that the flight has already departed as it was rescheduled. There was no prior information of the same before the flight via mail and mmt app showed the same timings. As a service provider it is your duty to provide such updates few days before the flight.

                    Now when asked about this unprofessional approach of not updating my brother nor the mmt app, mmt representatives are saying that mail was sent 5 months back regarding the time slot change.

                    Boss have you really lost it. You want me to believe something which you sent 5 months back and also remember it by heart? For that matter of fact not the mmt app which still shows the same time as shown while booking. This is insane and just a way of fooling and harassing customers. I had an important meeting to attend and because of your mismanagement i had to bear huge business losses. Are you going to pay for the losses or reschedule my big meeting. I am sure you cannot.

                    When the same information was asked to shikha munda, she proudly takes 6 days to validate this information. She informs my brother that the flight schedule change was already informed to him 5 months back. Mmt takes 6 days to find out the information about this entire process but you want my brother to remember 5 months old information. Did you send him a revised ticket? "no". Did you guys update him 1 month/1 week/ on 29th july before the flight? "no". But you proudly say that my brother should remember an email sent out by you 5 month back. Do you know how many crappy offer mails you send him everyday? You would feel so ashamed about it, that i cannot even answer.

                    Any customer who uses your services, expects updates being sent out by you. You are managing their flights, thats why you are running such a huge business.

                    You definetly need to reimburse the amount my brother has lost with result of rebooking of another ticket.

                    Please call him back on +[protected] or me ([protected]) asap and update how are you proceeding with this. Else i am taking this case to the consumer court. I have been patient enough and following up with shikha munda since 30th july 2018 but i can see its been unnecessarily dragged and eating up my precious time.

                    MakeMyTrip.com I are really disappointed by the unprofessional approach & the bad services provided by Make My Trip as it causes so much inconvenience to the me.

                    I recently had a talk with Mr. Sazid, as per his update, I had to confirm on the email that was sent out to me on 18th of March that I accept the changes. I get this information after your extensive research, which took almost 8 days, to tell me that there was an email which I had to confirm to MMT to get an updated e-ticket.

                    This totally sound absurd where MMT send thousands of email, spamming my inbox and expect me to find such a mail and believe on your MMT app which you promote while putting people on hold. Mr. Sazid explains me the weirdest logic that since I didn't reply on this email, an automatic mail was sent out to the airlines (which here is AirIndia) but will not magically send me an updated eticket or update my travel itinerary on your MMT app.

                    This entire journey was a chaos, I have suffered from the start of the journey till the very end. Mr Sazid and Ms Shikha as a human being take 7-8 days to find out an information about MMT email to me and you expect me to remember 5 month old data and not your MMT app??

                    This is totally absurd, you are just trying to make a fool out of me. I have been mentally, physically and financially tortured by your service. You cannot dodge me with an a mail sent out to me 5 month old. If you had this information update the customer when he is travelling or in your app.

                      I booked a flight from delhi to lucknow for 11th august and return on 15th august for me and my wife, a month ago. However as i could not avail any leaves so i rescheduled the booking to 6th of nov and 11th of november. At the time of booking the amount which was shown to be rs.10379/-, while at the point of booking the charges suddenly surged to rs. 19020/- and just after rescheduling the flight, when i checked the prices of a fresh booking for the same sector and same date/ timing, it came out to be rs. 15, 732/-.

                      Further when i called the customer care it was told that there was a surge charge for just the moment when i was rescheduling the booking.

                        mmt gives travel insurance with wrong values in passport number and dob

                        I booked an international flight in makemytrip.com with booking id: nn[protected]. I have selected apollo munich travel insurance during booking. Once the ticket was booked, i received a travel insurance with complete wrong values in my passport number and dob fields. I don't know from where these values have been gathered and incorporated in the insurance.

                          I booked my flight from dubai to visakhapatnam on 09 july 2018 (Date of travel : 14 aug 2018) for 12, 419 inr
                          Vide
                          Mmt booking id no. : nn[protected]
                          And
                          Indigo airline booking ref : bkdq8r

                          I had cancelled the said booking and got only 972 inr as refund from make my trip... Where as indigo refunded 6, 855 inr to make my trip

                          As per norms, make mytrip has to take their processing fees of 600 inr and should refund me 6255 inr, whereas they refunded only 972 inr

                          Kindly requesting to do the needful and get my amount refunded with penalty

                            Flight reference no. Dtxqe8 from jkf to sfo on 20th july bokked by makemy trip for virgin atlantics and operated by delta

                            Sorry to report you that i had horrible experience while checking for my flight no. Dl0273 at jkf airport. Upon receiving a mail on delta on 19th july i web checked in and while reporting at the airport for baggage drop i was told by the executive (Perhaps ms. Diane) that my ticket is not a valid one and the numbers don't match with the records. I told her to look at the mail received from delta and the travel document issued by makemytrip but of no use. Instead she made me run to terminal 4 to talk to virgin atlantic office. Though i requested for wheel chair for both o[censored]s, i had to run around but of no avail. She was not ready to listen and not ready to call her seniors to sort out issues. I took makemytrip officials on phone and they arranged another mail from delta but she was not ready to see this mail also and refused boarding passes. After too much ordeal she suddenly said ok one number is matching and did one check in again we were in a fix. After few minutes she did check in for second passenger saying now she got the correct number. It was already 4.30 or so. We took one available wheel chair and rushed for security and boarding literraly running. Somehow boarded flight. Another shock was waiting for us as we got only one checked in baggage and the other three were delivered to us the next day at 2.30 pm i. E. On 21st july. Please enquire and fix responsibilities for such harassment to senior citizens.

                            Flight no. Vs 301 delhi london on 19th june. 2018

                            After fantastic flight from new delhi we landed at lhr. After long wait the wheelchair came and mid way we were seated to wait for another wheel chair for connecting flight to jfk. I repeatedly told the concerned lady that we are getting out of time she sent one wheel chair and the person took us to the bus for terminal 5. I told him that our flight is from terminal 3 but he was adamant that he has been told terminal 5. To my shock he was telling me to cancel my ticket and book another as we will not be able to reach in time. I was showing him my ticket again and again but he was taking instructions from somewhere else on mobile. Finally i told him to leave us at departures of terminal 3 at our risk. Somehow we reached there in time and got our flight. So much harassment at lhr. Please ensure that such things do not happen again especially to wheel chair borne senior citizens.

                                We booked country inn and suites for 12th n 13th august... With booking id: nh[protected]. We made the full payment for 2 rooms and got a confirmation from make my trip as well. Now yesterday on 31st july... We are getting a call from country inn n suites front office staff neelam and manager - arpit that though they have got the voucher but they cannot give us any rooms on our dates. They said they have given our rooms to someone else.

                                This is absolutely ridiculous... We booked 3 weeks in advance to be sure as we r travelling with kids n did not want any hassles... But this call from country inn n suites has given us double the stress...
                                Please get this resolved for us as we want to stay in the same hotel that we booked or else get us rooms in jaypee and marriott, mussoorie.

                                    I booked two tickets from kochi to chennai and from chennai to kochi on 11th and 12th of september. Because of certain issue i can't able to go with this.
