Hi, i did my booking with makemytrip for my honeymoon to spain.. When i was about to book, they said they have a visa refund policy and that is applicable only when i book within the same day and my money will get refunded in case of any visa rejection, so i also payed the amount on same day. So they asked us to pay 45, 000 as confirmation and after one month they sharply called for another payment 52, 000.. Meanwhile we attended visa interview where we got rejected in interview saying no proper documents which makemytrip didn’t guide us properly, so they asked to pay extra 5000 each (For me and my fiancé) for getting one more interview.. Inspite of that, our schegen visa got rejected due to some reason,.. Now when i am requesting for a refund they are ignoring and saying that they wont repay money back... That 1 lakh was my savings that i did for 2 years. I lost everything now.. I very much disappointed and broken. These companies are really dot care about common people. Others please be careful with makemytrip, dont pay any money other than your visa fees when u book a trip with them... Or better to go for separate visa agencies.
Note : anjana (Chennai) was the consultant who took my booking and ignored after visa got rejected.
