Kindly note that i have neither availed any service/s of oneassist nor authorised or subscribed to its services ever.
Kindly also note that i have not intimated about the same to you.
Hence you are requested to delete the said amount along with the related gst charges from my credit card statement.
A copy of the letter addressed to oneassist is attached for your perusal.
You are also requested to make arrangements to close my credit card account with you with immediate effect and confirm.

    Hello there

    I received sms from hdfc bank on 8 september 2017 that rs-1299/- deducted from my credit card to one assist membership fee. Hdfc customer rang information. I dont even know the company and this kind o[censored]nsolicited charging of my credit card and use of my card by the company is really a criminal act and the co.
    And who the hell are you to care about me.. I want my money back. Dont dare again to do this.

    Please deactivate and refund my money asap

      श्रीमान जी
      मैंने वन असिस्ट से अपने Xiaomi कम्पनी का के Mi Note 4 ( 64GB ) हेंडसेट के लिए बीमा कराया गया था। जिसकी कस्टमर ID [protected] है । मुझे बीमा कराने के लिए कम्पनी द्वारा फोन किया गया था, फोन पर उपलब्ध कराई गई सूचना के अनुसार फोन में कोई खराबी आने पर क्लेम के दौरान जितने समय तक बीमा धारक का फोन one Assist के पास रहेगा उतने समय के लिए one assist बीमा धारक को उसी मोडल का अतिरिक्त ( courtesy )हेंडसेट उपलव्ध कराएगी, जिस से बीमा धारक को कोई असुविधा न हो ।
      परन्तु जब मेरा फोन खराब हो गया तो one assist ने मुझे अतिरिक्त ( courtesy ) हेंडसेट देने से साफ मना कर दिया । इसके अलाबा मेरा हेंडसेट जिसमे मामूली खराबी ( टच खराब ) थी, को सही कराने के बदले मुझसे प्रोसेसिंग फीस जे नाम पर लगभग 325 रुपये भी ले लिए गए । उसके बाद भी मुझे टूटा हुआ हेंडसेट भेज दिया, शिकायत करने पर कहा गया कि आप का हेंडसेट दुवारा सर्विस सेंटर जाएगा । कम्पनी ने हेंडसेट दुवारा मंगा तो लिया पर एक माह से ज्यादा व्यतीत हो जाने के बाद भी मुझे उपलब्ध नहीं कराया गया ।
      कस्टमर केअर पर कॉल करने पर झूठे वादे किए जाते हैं, पहले मुझे बताया गया था कि आप का फ़ोन हर हालत में आपको दिनाँक - 08/09/2017 तक आपको मिल जाएगा। न प्राप्त होने पर दुवारा कॉल की तो बताया गया कि दिनाँक - 11/09/2017 आपका हेंडसेट हर हाल में आपके घर पहुच जाएगा ।
      कम्पनी द्वारा किये गए वादे के अनुरूप मुझे अतिरिक्त ( courtesy ) हेंडसेट उपलब्ध न कराने तथा तथा समय से मेरा हेंडसेट की मरम्मत करा कर उपलब्ध न करा पाने तथा कस्टमर केअर पर वन असिस्ट के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा झूटी ओर अनुपयुक्त जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने के कारण प्रार्थी को मानसिक रूप बहुत ही ज्यादा आघात पहुँचा है । प्रार्थी के पास हेंडसेट न होने की बजह से आर्थिक हानि भी हुई है ।अतः श्रीमान जी से विनम्र निवेदन है कि आप उक्त कम्पनी के खिलाफ उचित दंडात्मक कार्यवाही करते हुए प्रार्थी को पहुचे मानसिक आघात तथा आर्थिक हानि की छतिपूर्ती हेतु रुपये 200000.00( दो लाख मात्र ) मुआवजा भी दिलवाया जाए।

        One assist co. Made it clear during first year of insurance that they will repair my handset free of cost & now they are denying my claim that it has exceeded device amount which is fall.
        Wrong estimate provided for denial of claim
        Just few days back they have renewed my poilcy also
        Handset screen has broken, how can the estimate will be 8754/-
        I can easily get my handset repaired around rs. 2000
        Reimburse me whatsoever expenses are incurred by me for repair, i can provide you estimate also beforehand from a authorised service centre before repair, if that exceeds device amount deny my claim else reimburse me the expenses

        In view of the documents submitted the claim has been approved & assessed as beyond economic repair (Ber) for net approved amount rs.3, 199/- is arrived at post deductions of deductibles listed in the below calculation table. The settlement of the claim will result into extension of cash benefit along with the stoppage on the insurance cover extended for the policy under consideration.

        ø damaged handset will be retained by one assist.

        Note: the case is considered as ber when the estimate repair charge is equal to more than 80% of sum insured /market value/ invoice value whichever is less.

        For facilitating the speedy settlement of the claim you are being requested to submit the below items and documents in true & hard copies at the address mentioned below via courier or postal order to one assist.         · scan copy of cancelled cheque with your name printed on it (If your name is not mentioned on it please share the 1st & 2nd page of your bank passbook along with the cancel cheque. If you do not have passbook then please submit the bank statement’s first page with information like ifsc code, account number, branch name, bank name & your name). This information is required for facilitating the payment into your bank account. Kindly submit the legible copy of the aforementioned documents.

          I have recently had a very disappointing and upsetting incident with oneassist (Insurance company). They have been highly irresponsible in dealing with my phone (Sent to them for insurance claim), callous in their attitude towards handling the belonging/product of the customer, have damaged my belonging and then have been highly unprofessional in their act of returning a damaged product (With insurance claim closed) without prior information regarding the damage caused by them. This was completely unacceptable and gravely disappointing.

          The incident took place as per the following events (Everything mentioned can be proved via e-mail history and screenshots. I have the images, before and after handing over my device to oneassist, time-coded and geotagged, along with the screenshots of my submitted complaints at their website, with screenshots of my submitted images at their website):

          I purchased a redmi 4 on 23rd may, 2017. Immediately after the purchase i contacted one assist for their mobile assist insurance plan and took a plan which covered all sorts of damages, theft, loss, etc. To complete registration for the insurance plan and for verification, i was supposed to send them pictures of my brand new handset and that of its invoice via e-mail.
          While purchasing the insurance plan, i told the one assist representative that i do not have the hard copy of the invoice as it was damaged in transit (Phone was purchased via amazon).in his eagerness to sell me the plan and earn a commission he told me that it's okay, an amazon order summary will work. I submitted the amazon order summary with the photos (E-mail history preserved) and my plan was activated on 8th june, 2017.

          Then within 5 weeks of the purchase, my phone fell in water on the street while it was raining and the capacitive touch of the screen and fingerprint sensor stopped responding (However, there wasn’t a single scratch or crack on the screen) and there was a minor dent on the back of the phone. I immediately filed a claim (On 23rd july, 2017).

          To file the claim i was again required to upload the images of damaged device and invoice. Again i submitted the images (Screenshots of the uploaded images preserved) and amazon order summary as invoice. I was told that my claim could not move forward because the invoice is not legitimate. I informed them about my conversation with the representative at the time of registration and the fact that my plan was activated on the basis of amazon order summary only. But they said they cannot move it forward without the original invoice (E-mail thread preserved. The conversation occurred over multiple mails - all preserved - where the executives also told me to pay an additional sum from my pocket because i did not have the invoice - none of which was told to me during registration). With much difficulty i arranged for the invoice from the seller and the claim was taken forward (On 16th august, 2017 - almost a month later).

          In the claim conclusion, after approximately a week of having sent my device to them for the procedure, i was told that the device is beyond economic repair, and an amount of 6199 will be sent to me (They calculated the repair cost to be inr 9199 when the handset’s original price was inr 8999 and then called it beyond economic repair, which i completely fail to understand since all it required was a change of the inner display) and they would retain my device. Before sending it to one assist for the claim i had got is checked at mi service centre and the amount i was given by them was way less than the inr 9199 as told to me by one assist, claiming it to be ber.

          As the phone holds sentimental value and the estimate given by oneassist was inconsistent with the ones given by mi, i asked for the unrepaired device to be sent back so i could get it fixed myself as it holds huge sentimental value and i could not allow it to be retained. They agreed to send my phone back in the same condition as i had handed it to them in.

          5 days ago, i received my phone and i was enraged to find out that the phone has severe physical damage done to it. The whole back panel has been forcibly taken out, with the screen coming out from one side, side buttons are missing (Sim tray and volume controller), and the device is in an irreparable condition.

          I am startled at the thought of how this happened and how did oneassist have the audacity to cause such damage to my phone and send it to me as that with no prior intimation of any damage having been caused by them. I want a strict action taken against them as soon as possible.

            I jakeer sharief, am a hdfc credit card holder. I activated one assist during the year mar 2016 relationship no 101282. Payed rs. 1799 through credit card.in the year 2017 again rs. 1799 was automatically deducted without my authorization. When i called to one assist customer care they told it is a auto renewal and they have sent mail to my email id and they convinced that they can only help by downgrading my plan and refund rs 500 only. And rs 500 was refunded. But when i checked my emails, i didn't get any mails from one assist, they were fooling me. Then immediately i called to one assist and asked how can they fool me and i want my rs 1299 refund. They told that their senior person will call. The company which i work, we are not allowed with mobiles. They use to call during working hours and i was unable to pick their calls. Then later in the evening i use to check call list and gave call back to one assist and then they kept on telling again and again that only senior person only can respond. It's already been three months and they have not responded till now and such a negligence.

            I will only like to contact me through my email id: jakeer. [protected]@gmail.com because i will not be able to connect through mobile.

            Please i request you to help to resolve this issue. I will be thankful.

In the year 2017 again Rs. 1799 was automatically deducted without my authorization.               Hi,

              As last year also i requested you to cancel my one assist plan but you have said that the plan will be cancelled for next year since, it has already activated for that current year. But i see the plan is now renewed for[protected] and 1799/- have been auto debited from my credit card.

              I have only the following details with me:
              One assist membership id «field29».

              Kindly cancel my one assist plan and request you to refund the amount of rs:1799. This is unacceptable that you have been repeating the same.

              From the first two photos i see the amount is debited from my credit card.

              I want to deactivate my credit card.
              Though i deactivate, my credit card i see it's mentioned the money will be deducting from my bank account. (From the third photo attached)

              I kindly request you to cancel my one - assist plan and refund my amount.

              Hope this would not repeat it again. I would go further to complaint if this would repeat again.

                  I have called two times to one assist to cancel thia service but no action has been taken. I called them to cancel as the renewal date was on 8th september 2017. The service has been charged and i am extremely unhappy about it. This is very unfair. Please cancel my service and refund my money. One assist is actually a rubbish service. The customer service is awful and disgusting.

                      Baught an insurance from one assist. My relationship id is 2200010. I filed for insurance on 10th aug. But there insurance company approval is still pending. The phone was sent on 21st aig to insurance company. But the approval is still pending. Whenever i call to customer care they always told me to wait. They are keep delaying the process. I also sent an another device for repairing. They sent me the device back. It was not repaired by service centre instead of that they got it repaired from a local shop vendor and there were still issues in the device. When i told this to insurance company. They said that they have arranged for a pick up. It was 5 days ago but still there is no response from their side. On monday their complaint handling department told me to wait for 48 hrs. It's more than 4 days. There customer executives keep telling me that i have to wait for some more time.

                        I informed one assist team today to terminate my membership through phone call and email. I'm advised to call again to terminate the membership prior one month of renewal date (Nov 7th 2017) and they won't take the request prior two months considering terms and conditions. Prior cancellation period is not mentioned anywhere in the terms and conditions of one assist. I'm free to cancel the membership anytime.                                 This is to notify you that I also received a deduction of Rs. 118 on 11-Sept-17, for some Deal an EMI plan(EMI Processing Fee- SmartEMI LN Rs. 100+ IGST 18 Rs.). I inquired with HDFC bank they said that this is also due to oneassist service only. So plz refund my total amount of rs. (1299+118). Kindly do not process any further deduction from my card limit.

Changed in previous case... And finally i send a mail to oneassist and this is my last mail to oneassist... So they not provide me promised service and not provide me cartecy handset as they promised so i requist you please accept my claim and approval because i know i am right and i summited all documents are correct and today i received a mail from one assistant they said "with reference to your service request number 2257758, basis the documents submitted by you, the insurance company has denied the claim. The insurance company is constrained to deny the liability basis the following reason: the subject claim is not admissible under exclusion 10 - loss or damage caused by wilful negligence (No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property)
                                    We regret that we are unable to entertain this claim and therefore, we are closing the claim as repudiated on the grounds clearly mentioned above. We look at this as an opportunity lost to serve you.
                                    " so this is not a perfect reason and i am sure you fraud with me so i requist you please accept my cliam requiest and approval it as soon as possible otherwise i complain a file against company at court... As my advocate say i am right at my place...

With a view to avail Insurance from you, he submitted a claim through Customer Care Service without any delay and acknowledging receipt of his claim, he received a mail from you with Service request NO. HYPERLINK "tel:2156730"2156730 stating that the claim was forwarded to concern authorities. After several calls regarding status of his claim, my client received a mail on HYPERLINK "calendar:T2:[protected]"[protected] to his dismay, you have stated that the claim was rejected due to mismatch of Mobile IME Number.

                                        They rejected my claim because i was anaware when humidity from air turned my handset liquid spill identifier litmus paper turned red.
                                        They categorised it as mysterious and endes the conversation unprofessionally. Mute for a minute and disconnect. And the whole process took 10aug to 7 sep. And they are now sending back my handset in another 7 to 10 working days!
                                        Holy crap!
                                        They are frauds and cheaters in disguise.

These details are needed by the Insurance company to decide whether the incident taken place was an accidental damage or happened because of negligence.

                                        The damage description given by you doesn't have the explanation of how the damage happened hence the claim was rejected by the company.
