my client instructed that, in the month of april-2016, you have launched a scheme under the name and style of airtel secure in association with one assist, to provide insurance service to smart phones of your subscribers by collecting monthly premiums at deferent rates. Since my client is using expensive smart phone, he subscribed to your airtel secure scheme in the month of april itself and he is paying monthly premium regularly and you are receiving through the monthly bill along with user charges.

            My client instructed that, he is subscriber to your Airtel Post Paid Service vide Mobile Service No.[protected], Relationship No.HYPERLINK "tel:[protected]"[protected].  My client is using SAMSUNG Galaxy

            My client instructed that, In the month of April-2016, you have launched a scheme under the name and style of Airtel Secure in association with one Assist, to provide Insurance service to Smart phones of your Subscribers by collecting monthly premiums at deferent rates. Since my client is using expensive Smart Phone, he subscribed to your Airtel Secure scheme in the month of April itself and he is paying monthly premium regularly and you are receiving through the monthly bill along with user charges.

            That, on HYPERLINK "calendar:T2:18/06/2017"18/06/2017 (SUNDAY) at about HYPERLINK "calendar:T1:1 PM"1 PM when my client was having lunch with his friends, suddenly he got slipped due to water on the floor and consequently his phone was slipped from his shirt pocket and the display screen was damaged. With a view to avail Insurance from you, he submitted a claim through Customer Care Service without any delay and acknowledging receipt of his claim, he received a mail from you with Service request NO. HYPERLINK "tel:2156730"2156730 stating that the claim was forwarded to concern authorities. After several calls regarding status of his claim, my client received a mail on HYPERLINK "calendar:T2:[protected]"[protected] to his dismay, you have stated that the claim was rejected due to mismatch of Mobile IME Number.

    They rejected my claim because i was anaware when humidity from air turned my handset liquid spill identifier litmus paper turned red.
    They categorised it as mysterious and endes the conversation unprofessionally. Mute for a minute and disconnect. And the whole process took 10aug to 7 sep. And they are now sending back my handset in another 7 to 10 working days!
    Holy crap!
    They are frauds and cheaters in disguise.

    As per the terms and conditions mentioned in the policy, the customer has to give an exact description of damage and the reason for damage. These details are needed by the Insurance company to decide whether the incident taken place was an accidental damage or happened because of negligence.

    The damage description given by you doesn't have the explanation of how the damage happened hence the claim was rejected by the company.

      Hi,

      This is waseem, my moble samsung s6 edge plus accidentally got damaged in the month of june'17. I have claimed airtel secure to repair my mobile as it got damaged. Raised a complaint on 7th july 2017, they came to pick my mobile on 30th aug'17 and today (7th september) i received my unrepaired mobile as is. There is no update on the status why it was unrepaired and also when i spoke to the oneassist customer care they told me that to check with airtel.
      Airtel asked me to check with oneassist.

      I have been paying the airtel secure subscription from may onwards thinking that if something happens to my mobile i can get it repaired through airtel secure.

      Finally it turned out to be a prank played by airtel secure and oneassist.

      I need an explanation why my mobile was delivered unrepaired. Why the insurance company rejected my claim.

      Hi Consumer Team,

      There are some fraudulent happening by misusing this website. Right after I submitted my phone number for OneAssist I received an call from [protected], saying that they are calling from consumerComplaints and asking us to pay RS 10 to proceed. 10 RS is not big money but they want us to go to https://www.kwikpaymentsolution.com for payment where you can see RBI page (which is Fake) . Be Aware (do not make the payment ) its Fraud. They ask u to enter your Netbanking Pwd or debit card details so dont do it.

      Do you really think that I will drop 50, 000 Mobile just like that to claim the Airtel Secure ?

      I did not register for this ever, but an amount got dedcuted and i let it be as they told me it is only for a year. now it is being deducted every ****ing year. I did not ask for a renewal, but it is happening! some auto-renewal crap. If this doesn't stop, I will be taking legal action.

        Yes i agree that the oneassit company if fraud not helping to the costumer and providing wrong information to costumer and one dialogue is there of oneassist company executive wait for 48 hours and our concernn team will inform you later. no action is taken by the company doing worst job and worst working. not helping to the costumer. and now they have said they will inform of 13 but they have not informed yet date are over

          Its very shocking that without my knowledge, the amount debited from my credit card and u itself subscribed for some plan. How can you take amount from my card without my authorisation.             Hello all,

            My self krishna peravali, recently i bought a mi product redmi note-4. A suggested by the mi/oneassist team after discussing with them i bought mi protect which will give full cover to your product. (Ad/ld - accidental damage/liquid damage)

            Now unfortunately, my mobile get in contact with rain water whichi have informed to oneassist with service request # 2254529.

            Now they rejected the claim with reason saying "willful negligence".
            So here my questions to mi/oneassist are as follows:

            1. First of all with out discussing on the incident with the customer how can you decide that its willfull, dam accident is an accident how can you say its a willfull.
            2. We as a customer will trust you mi/oneassit more but you failed in here with this, because as per the invoice my mobiles total cost is rs.9999/- only but the claim estimate is raised for rs.11237 /- so whom you want to make fools.
            3. So what else you do expect for liquid damage other than travelling persons genuine reason.

            Still i hope you being a professional company will revisit this case and try to do the needful to pass the claim as i hold all required reasons with proofs for the claim raised.

              As per my plan benefits it is mentioned that 12 days service guarantee and you 'll get a courtesy handset in the mean time of handset repaired. But these things are just to make customers fool. They just escalate the case from one place to another and nothing will happen. Customer have to survive. I advice to all don't get trapped in this company's fake policies. They just put those plan benefits to attract customers. If you give them your handset to get repaired then their minimum time to give your handset is 45 days. And one more thing whenever you call them for complain they always give you same reply as " we regret for the inconvenience. And we escalated the case and wait for 3-4 days and after 4 days you'll again get the same reply. And this will continue till their minimum days of repairing i. E. 45 days. You can imagine that one and a half month they take for a handset repair and no courtesy handset will be provided to you. There are more better options in the market than this fake policy maker company. I complained more than 20 times and till now nothing happened.

                  I have recieved my new hdfc credit card with unauthorized deducted money of
                  Rs.1299.
                  Niether i have applied for any oneassist membership. Money deducted automatically.
                  So i contacted oneassist customer care for refund. They told me we
                  Accepted your request. One confirmation call will received by you.
                  Every day they called me approaching for continue member ship forcefully.
                  They called me 3 to 4 times daily. Every time when i refused they simply told me confirmation call will receive by you.
                  So i decided i will not use hdfc card until my one assist money will refund to my credit card.
                  I am already hdfc customer for long time. This act is deeply sadden and irritating.
                  Kindly resolve my matter as they are simply trying to enlarge my request for day by day.

                    I am a hdfc credit card holder, the bank has auto debited rs.1299 from my credit card number ending with xxxxxxxx9225 with out my authorisation on date 24/08/17 and i dont want this membership so cancel the membership and refund the same;

                    Relation ship number for one assist is 495217

                    I urge oneassist to cancel this membership at once and debit the amount back into my credit card at the earliest as this was done without my authorization or consent! If not, i’d be forced to take up the issue to the consumer court as this is clearly in violation of consumer rights and cyber laws!

                      This is ramya. I'm using hdfc credit card. Without any intimation you have deducted the amount of rs. 1899 from my credit card.

                      As last year also i requested you to cancel but you have said that the plan will be cancelled in one year but now it was again repeated and saying that auto renewed without my approval or even not intimated.

                      Kindly cancel this plan and request you to refund the amount of rs. 1899. This is unacceptable that you have been repeating the same.

                        I have being regularly calling on your customer care no from last 8-9 days. You said, you provide hassle free services to your customers but its being hasrshing now for me atleast my previous claim is not closed yet my claim id was 2072995 i've received a mail from your side that the claim has being completed. But in your system it is still showing pending and all.. So i have a request to you guys to look our my concern as this is quite frustrating and becoming irritating too..
                        And without closing they have given me new claim id-2315280.in this id i am unable to claim and upload my documents..

                          One assist insurance company has rejected my claim due to incomplete incident report even though when contact with their executive at the time they ask me to mention the date and time or location... And not even replying to my messages

                          Few weeks before i was going from college parking and taking turn to exit towards right, suddenly another guy hit me, i fell down, so. Does my phone also fell, even i have scratches on my arm as floor was of concrete, as my phone fell it's screen got broken and i had no internet access i called one assist team to file for claim i got a call back from your team and that guy told me to briefly explain the issue, after my phone fell i had no internet access and i had to do this job with in 48 hours so i asked my friend to do this job, and eventually he brifely wrote only short part that phone slipped from hand, and i am writing this as i just now got a call that my claim rejected coz of not describing the issue properly,
                          I have many handsets and taken insurance of many phones and recommended one assist to many friends as well i take full cares of my phone's and axpect that my incident report will be updated as soon as possible, i am still without my phone and asking to send email from my friends so i hope you will do this update asap

                            I have declined to renew membership of oneassist service but they renewed my membership and charged 1899/- inr on my hdfc bank credit card without my permission.
                            Kindly take action on this complaint to reverse membership charges.
                            Is this company involved in doing fraud name of services provider.
                            Govt should take action on it and make strict rule for like these company.

                                I recently received a sms that a renewal of policy will be charged for my icici account.
                                I don't remember asking for any policy renewal.

                                    Every time i call them about my phone and ask its whereabouts they tell me to wait 48 hours.. And on sep 1st i received a mail telling me my phone has been delivered. But where actually is my phone.. I don't know what to do anymore.. These people are fraud. I asked the shipping company where my phone was... According to the courier id oneassist provided.. But they said that we do not have any item on this number. Its been like this for more that 1and half month i have been calling them. But they don't seem to even care. Please do something about this company. So that other people don't get entangled in this situation... Like i am right now
