I am Ram Sharma,. Staying in Chennai.
On relocation, I had given a request for Samsung split AC (1.5 Ton) through Customer care. The request was given on 2nd April 2012. A Technician named Suresh had intially confirmed the appointment on Saturday (7th April) however he failed to come and even after repeated calls to him, there was neither any response or call-back. Finally on 9th April, Monday, another Technician had come to install the AC.
He had changed the cooling tube which was charged Rs 850.00.
However he left without giving any receipt for the same. He did not also show me the packaging in which the tube was bought. He all through insisted that it is original samsung product and was brought from their warehouse.
The tube does not bear any logo or stamp of Samsung or any other third party.
There after I had been mailing and calling the customer care for atleast the basic information, like place of manufacture, date of manufacture, price and logo.
However none from Samsung were able to provide me with this information as on date( 19th April 2012)
Further due to an installation error, the gas had leaked out and from the very day, there was no cooling. This was confirmed by one of their executives who had come on 13th April 2012. But he left saying that, "it would be fixed by a different team".
I have been calling the customer care, even I have posted mails on samsung website and to samsung support team. But all was invain.
After each mail, some individual calls and tells he would personally track my issue and see that it is resolved by the end of the day ... and this has been continuing for last 10 days.
This clearly highlights the careless and lack of customer-friendly attitude of samsung and its allied executives.
Kindly do let me know what and how I proceed to see that the issue is resolved

Samsung — Samsung Split AC
We purchased Samsung Split AC (Bio Sleep)about 2 months back and it was working fine until summer began!!!There is NO cooling effect as the Compresser does not turn.!?? The customer care is just not upto the mark and can say it's pathetic. It took 5 working days for the technician to turn up at our house. And he simply checked and suggested that the Voltage is not sufficient for the AC's compressor to switch on.. so we've to upgrade our power supply. If this was case, they should have informed us at the time of initial installation. They did not do so.
But the Technician failed to explain why exactly similar units are properly working in the same locality!! So request you all not to purchase such products without checking the customer care... which is really PATHETIC..
Am still awaiting for resolving the problem with our AC.. Spending 3K on a local Air cooler would have been a better choice I suppose
