Yesterday, my mobile unknowingly fell in a bucket of 1/4th water. When I take it back after 4-5 seconds, I was unable to switch it back on. It started to vibrate for 1-2 hours. I went to the near by sony service centre. The lady told that it would be approximately[protected] Rs. This is insane as my mobile is in warranty and also its only been 2 months since I bought this. My friends suggested me to buy other phones but I was attracted with the advertisements of Z2 and Z3 that it is water proof and dust proof. Now I guess I made a mistake selecting SONY Brand. I have Sony TV, Sony AC at my house. I am a student who is doing part time at a far away place from my hometown and this Xperia Z2 was the first ever product I bought in EMI. Still I am paying EMI for the original price. Now, you people charge me Rs[protected] though my mobile is in warranty. This is ridiculous as it is half the amount of original price. I feel sony no longer feels the customer's pain. The service centre says its liquid damage. If my mobile Z2 couldn't withstand 4 seconds in a 1/4th bucket of water, how confidently you would advertise that this mobile is water proof? All the lids were closed. The water should not go inside if Z2 is water proof. Do all Z2 and Z3 mobiles are fake promise or only my mobile was unfortunately defective from start? I was initially so satisfied that I was recommending this mobile to my friends and brother. I requested customer support; they say it’s a company policy. If you have any interest in retaining the SONY lovers like me, you should help me with this. 15000 is half the price of the mobile-RIDICULOUS.. MY JOB SHEET NUMBER IS W[protected].. Its only 54 days since I bought the mobile.. I'm in warranty.. I don’t want to hear the nonsense like Liquid damage does not come under warranty., red litmus and white litmus. I have heard enough. If this mobile was water proof, liquid damage should not have happened in the first place. Please exempt me from paying that huge amount to service centre. I'll never trust SONY again if I am forced to pay this amount now. You will lose an ardent lover of sony from now if I am asked this humongous amount.PLS HELP HELP HELP. I tried to contact many people from your company and everyone is reluctant to help and they are transferring me to others. I should not be charged for this. If this is not resolved up to the satisfaction, I will post this in facebook and twitter so that none of my friends will keep faith in SONY. No one is speaking properly in customer support. No one is ready to help. My first ever investment is such a big flop if this is not rectified up to the expectations of a customer.

    I had purchase a mobile set of Sony and its make is XPERIA Z1 COMPACT on 03.02.15. After using the same for some days I had to visit the Sony Service Station at Office No. 308, 3rd Floor, DDA Building-5, District Centre, Janakpuri, Delhi-110058 since my handset was not charging. They deposited my handset and told to get it rectified within 8 days. On completion of 8 days when I visited the Service centre, I was told that it is not yet ready and it will take 2-3 days. Again after 3 days I visited to the Service center but this time also I was told that it is not ready and it will take another 7-8 days. When I again went for collection of my handset I was told the same thing that it is not yet ready and it will take few more days. Kindly help me to get my mobile back as soon as possible.       3 Months Old Mobile phone replacement Bought a Sony Xperia Z Ultra mobile phone from Flipkart online shop on 8th of Mar'15. The phone's screen was damaged and reached out to the Sony Service center on 8th of Jun 2015. The CSR is just revealing that the phone cannot be repaired but can be replaced for 50% of MRP of the phone which was not disclosed on purchase of the phone or in any terms and conditions with the phone Purchase. Agreed for the replacement and paid 5k advance on the same day for replacement with in 15 days. Its been a month now but the CSR is not responding properly and extending the timeline for replacement for another 15 days the third time now. Sony India pvt Ltd is required to explain the non disclosure of the non-repairable handset and also replace my phone at no cost for all the inconvenience caused. Attaching the following documents: 1) invoice copy of the phone. 2) Job sheet from R-Logic Center (Authorized Sony Service Center), West of Chord Road, Bangalore. 3) Invoice copy for Rs.5000 paid as advance for replacement.

        I had paid Rs.5000 as advance towards New panel for my Sony TV KLV-40V400A to: I Connect (Authorised service centre) M-4, Ground Floor, Old DLF Colony, Sec-14, Gurgaon-122001, Haryana on 1 Oct. 2014, After one month I got call form service centre that panel is not available. I asked for refund of my advance and I was told that it will be sent home through representative. Now after making so many call in past 9 months i did not get my money back. So

          I bought my new M4 aqua on 2nd July 2015, from 4th July I noticed intense heating of phone, shown to shop technical staff, they advised to change cut sim to nano sim.6th July I went there to get my sim changed, they were nt able to remove old sim, said to gt it done by well qualified staff at service center. Went there on 7th July after half an hour of waiting they did multiple attempts bt sim was not getting out. They assured before that they won't damage my mobile. And after half hour they gave me M4 aqua with display damage, scratch etc... Now they are denying to REPLACE it and give me new phone. Talked with shop dealer not getting any damn satisfactory reply from anyone. A gr8 mental torture indeed.

              I got Sony Xperia M4 from Sangeeta mobiles, Pheonix Mall, bangalore on[protected]. From day1 the mobile heats up on charging, and when listened to music or played games for sometime. I am not happy with the response i am getting from the dealer as well as the service center(the call is being disconnected from the other end when called purposefully, contact:[protected]

                  With reference to my mobile phone Sony Experia Z2 given to your sony service center (Shri Sai Electronics). Job no : W[protected] MODEL : D6502 The Sony Experia Z2 mobile was water proof as claimed in the advertisement/ brochures and the same is the reason I have purchased the same. Kindly stop making false claims of being water proof and cheating the customers on behest of the same. The last thing i remember was to pick up a call with wet hands while its was drizzling at around 8 pm on 23/06/2015 and thereafter the phone was blank and vibrating. I gave my mobile to sony service center on 24/06/2015. I do not appreciate the warranty claimed to be void on 14/08/2015 and also repair estimate to be so high that you can purchase a New Sony Experia Z2 mobile (Rs. 33000/-) at the same price from the market. It is after 20 days i have received estimate for my mobile which was supposed to be provided within 2 days if mobile is sent to regional office. I regret to have purchased a sony mobile.

                    1.Mobile some time will hanged and suddenly i restart the mobile after battery full down after charging mobile will be used. 2. mobile inside the screen some lines will appear. 3.dual sim function is very bad in my mobile. finally i go to sony service center. The executive does not respond me. suppose rectify my mobile i pay to Rs 3000. why i pay to the money. why you give a one year warranty. service center atmosphere is very bad. i have a one year warranty. then why i pay Rs 3000

                        My Sony Xperia Z3 is supposed to be a Water Proof phone and I took a few photographs in a Swimming Pool. The phone was perfectly functioning thereafter but after around 30-45 mins the display went blank. Upon contacting the Sony Authorized Service Center at M K Reddy Street, Tambaram, Chennai, their Service Head Mr Karthik refused to accept any responsibility stating that water has gone through the USB slot, cover for which was lose due to frequent opening to charge the Instrument. The phone is8 months old. The attitude and behavior of the staff there was absolutely negative and shameful and a few more customers shared the same opinion. A Rs 48, 000/- phone is nothing but a paperweight now !!! Complaint Lodged with Sony only gave a Reference nos with an assured revert in 48 hours but nothing has happened even after 10 days. Shame on Sony.

                          My PS3 has stopped reading discs, barely 2 yrs old, and have used hardly 5-6 times, I face this problem. Service centre people asked me to get the whole set replaced, and that they would give me 10-15% discount on a new set. It just completely doesn't make sense to repurchase the same thing for double the amount, and even mine is in mint condition. Pointless to do these stuffs Sony, grow up! I was completely in a state of shock after hearing this from my service advisor at Sony. What thugs Man U ppl. Not played more than 6 tyms, and when last played 8 months before, all was well, suddenly what can happen to it?? It was kept safely, in its box. After this much care and affection, if things like this happens, who would trust this kind of a bogus company?? I would suggest my friends and all viewers to please boycott Sony products, and instead go for Nintendo or Xbox. Sadly, my first option was a Nintendo, but after being pursued by a friend, I bought the PS3. I want to kill myself for this idiotic decision of mine. It's my RS.17500 hard earned money, it may not matter to Sony, but it is very much valuable to me, I can't again spend such a fortune on it, and only to find maybe it gets faulty again. Who would want to risk their money by purchasing stuffs from a company who is simply unconcerned about the plight of the customer. Lastly, my humble request to Sony India, if you can, just replace it with a new one, because my heart knows it that I have not used it more than 5-6 tyms, and it's not worth 17500 to play PS3 5-6 tyms. Better I could have gone to some clubs and cafes to play, at a relatively cheaper cost, instead of buying it. Daniyal.

                            Hello sir my name is Alisha rai I m from moradabad, u.p., India I m facing the same problem in my handset Sony xperia c from last 5-6 months . when I make calls suddenly the mobile shows radio off and network fails and the call ends.I HV gone to service centre 3-4 time but the same problem comes again and again.last time your executive told me he changed the mother board but then also I m facing the same problem . My suggestion to you is please just close all your service centres and cancel all the warranties which you use to provide to the customers because if are not able to dissolve the prblms of the customers you have no rights to pervert them . My warranty is going to finish on 01/08/2015 and then after you will say your set is out of warranty. Just tell me what should I have to do now. Should I have to dump my phone in the garbage.                               I bought Sony xperia Z3 phone on 08 JUN 2015 for Rs. 40, 000. It is a water proof phone. I was told to keep side covers closed so that water does not goes inside the phone so i kept covers closed all the time. On 08 JUL 2015(just after one month) touch screen for my phone stopped working. When i took my phone to service center they said water went inside my phone. I kept covers closed all the time still they are saying water went inside and now phone is damaged. They said as it is a liquid damage warranty will n ot be covered.Today in the morning they sent me a message saying it will cost me Rs. 24000 for the repair of phone. Its been 1 month only also i made sure to keep covers closed still they are saying water went inside and it will cost me 24k. I called service center and asked for the details on this, they asked me to call Sony India as they are the ones who are repairing this phone so i called them, i asked them why there can be a liquid damage when covers are kept closed also i dint took my phone through water, they asked me to call again service center people to get details on liquid damage when i asked them to get any senior guy on the call they kept me on hold for around 10- 15 mins and no one replied, i called them multiple times but no senior guy was available in Sony to answer my query. Now i have asked them to return my phone as i cant pay this big amount, My major concern is when i dint let my phone through water also the side covers were closed how can the water go inside even though it says water proof . Also they are not covering warranty. Sony India and Sony service center seems not to be very helpful. They just need money. Atleast they should cover warranty. Sony India people dosent even know how did i got this message saying 24k i need to pay.                                   To Customer care Unit. Attention! This is to bring your notice that my name is Prashant kumar Srivastava and I am very much aggrieved and disappointed customer of yours. Few months back I bought a New SONY EXPERIA Z2 phone (IMEI NO-[protected]) from your sony outlet after shelling off Rs 45k from my pocket. Few days back there was a problem in my phone where during call, the proximity sensor was not working and side covering was missing, therefore I surrendered phone to your customer care unit at connought place. During conversation your executive assured me that the software will be updated and the factory settings will be restored, so i will not face the problem of proximity sensor and they gave a job sheet stating that side cover was missing . After two days I received a call that your phone is ready and please come and collect. I went and collected the same, however, when I inserted the sim and found the same problem, whenever I receive the call display go off or when I will make a call display go off., on the very next day I again visited your customer care centre and pacified the same but surprisingly they said your warranty is void due to damaged condition of set. I said, how come ! set is not damaged, they showed me back corner side which was little bit cracked and asked, we will charge you, I immediately replied boss when the phone was damaged why earlier you have taken it. How come without completing one year warranty could be void and if in any case warranty is void then why you have taken phone for other complaints. I am writing my issues because of wrong information from your executive and my hard earned money which I have incurred thinking your brand in mind but it is my painful duty to inform you I will not buy any product neither I will suggest somebody to believe on your brand. Within one year your company is going to charge me on such a thing which is in complete warranty and therefore decided to confront! Hope you will try to resolve it otherwise I will take a legal action on it. Sending your service job sheet attached with this email.                                     My sony bravia tv was showing double picture and took it to sony service centre, nalanchira, near mg college, trivandrum, kerala, india on mid of june 2015.
                                    The service person said it was a panel complaint and said he will inform about the rates as soon as possible.
                                    After 3 or 4 days he called and said that it will cost around rs.11000. He also said i have to pay atleast rs.5000 in advance. I paid rs.6000 the next day and got the receipt. They said it will take a maximum of 1 week to deliver the tv. After a week when i called, i was told that it will take another 2 weeks to deliver.Again after 2 weeks they called me and said they need the tv invoice to send to the company to get some deduction. I collected the bill and send to them, the same day itself. I confirmed with the service centre that they have received the invoice by mail. Again after a week later they again called me to ask for the bill. I gain sent the bill, then they called me back saying they will refund the advance and now i have to take a dd under name "sony service centre cochin" for around rs.11000 and give it to them. Then also it will take another 20-25 days to deliver the tv.
                                    This is frustating for sony customer service. The service centre people even gave me a receipt without a job number and identified by phone number ([protected]).

                                    I expect a reply as soon as possible.

                                      I bought Sony Television 32R402 on 05.05.2014 from Narang Electricals Kurla West. There was a technical fault a few months back which was rectified by your authorized personnel the very next day.But now again the television set is not working and we are receiving no help from any quarter. The TV switch button is automatically turned green and there is no response to the remote control. On complaint through the dealer, a technician visited today and said though he is from Sony he can repair the set but can not give a receipt of the same. Your early intervention in resolving the normal functioning of the above Television set is eagerly solicited.                                         I Am using Z3+ last one week problem occurring using handset overheating issue no backup camera is not properly work. I am big fan of Sony. All z range I am using z up to Z3 I am not happy with Z3+ last 10 months I am using Z3 no any issue while using thise phone. So plz help me
