Hi,

My sony bravia tv was showing double picture and took it to sony service centre, nalanchira, near mg college, trivandrum, kerala, india on mid of june 2015.
The service person said it was a panel complaint and said he will inform about the rates as soon as possible.
After 3 or 4 days he called and said that it will cost around rs.11000. He also said i have to pay atleast rs.5000 in advance. I paid rs.6000 the next day and got the receipt. They said it will take a maximum of 1 week to deliver the tv. After a week when i called, i was told that it will take another 2 weeks to deliver.Again after 2 weeks they called me and said they need the tv invoice to send to the company to get some deduction. I collected the bill and send to them, the same day itself. I confirmed with the service centre that they have received the invoice by mail. Again after a week later they again called me to ask for the bill. I gain sent the bill, then they called me back saying they will refund the advance and now i have to take a dd under name "sony service centre cochin" for around rs.11000 and give it to them. Then also it will take another 20-25 days to deliver the tv.
This is frustating for sony customer service. The service centre people even gave me a receipt without a job number and identified by phone number ([protected]).

I expect a reply as soon as possible.

    I bought Sony Television 32R402 on 05.05.2014 from Narang Electricals Kurla West. There was a technical fault a few months back which was rectified by your authorized personnel the very next day.But now again the television set is not working and we are receiving no help from any quarter. The TV switch button is automatically turned green and there is no response to the remote control. On complaint through the dealer, a technician visited today and said though he is from Sony he can repair the set but can not give a receipt of the same. Your early intervention in resolving the normal functioning of the above Television set is eagerly solicited.         I am a huge fan of Sony but bitterly disappointed about Z1 as there are huge network issues. Also after giving it for service they blame the sim. And everybody has the same complaint. I have used multiple sim cards but same issue. Deeeply disappointed with the brand and poor service.

          Good afternoon! I'm Vijay D from coimbatore. I have purchased Sony aqua m4 2 weeks back in local retail shops. I'm feeling sorry to this what happened to the Sony quality and lifespan of a mobile. My first issue was with the call speaker I dipped my mobile for one second to check the waterproof of this mobile it was nothing with the screen after 4hours I received a call from my friend he reported me that he dint hear me neither as I there was a problem. Then I went to retail were I brought the mobile they checked there and told now it's working sir I tool 7hours to get back to normal they told the chip had to dry then that went okay . After one week suddenly my camera stooped working I was shocked then I restated my mobile it came Sony Xperia and hanged for 4hours. And then camera started working. Today what happen was my speaker in the bottom is not working it breaks up ..not clear. I'm fed up with this mobile sorry to say really I'm tensed what is going to happen next I'm kinda in that situation now how can I purchase Sony products here after its life is like this so kindly take my message to the authority and replace my mobile as it has many issues maybe a defective set so kindly replay with good news.             I bought a Sony Xperia Z Ultra from flipkart on 26th Jan 2015 with emei no.[protected] I accidently broke my screen 4 months later. Theres a service center here in Ghaziabad and the address for that is: 94, GT Road, Choudhary More, Ghaziabad-201001, Uttar Pradesh. Contact no.[protected] I gave my phone for repairs on 5th June 2015 and I applied for a replacement by paying 50 percent of the market price of the phone. The people working there assured me that I will get a new phone in replacement of the damaged one in a weeks time or 12-14 days at the most depending on the availability of the model no. It has been over a month since then and every time I call them they ask me to wait for a week without giving me any reason. They hang up if I ask questions. They're a bunch of manner-less illiterates I believe. They dont know how to talk to a customer. Without being provided a proper reason they always look for ways to get away with receiving my queries. Everytime they answer they affirm that I will get my phone in coming 4 days but everytime the deadline is over they have no answer and the deadline increases even more. I dont know what exactly is going on there and I have suffered a lot because of this in over a months time. I beg you guys to intervene and help me out with these bunch of thugs that are hellbent to put me through torment even further than this! Sony is a world renowned brand and its very well for valuing its customers. Till date I have not had a single phone call from their end telling me about the progress. i am really starting to regret purchasing a phone from Sony now. Please tell me how long I have to wait and what else do I need to do to get my phone back. I have suffered business wise as well as personally in all this chaos. They dont even know what they're talking about when I talk to them over the phone... Please help me out or I'll be left with no option but to lodge a complaint in the consumers court against them. As I have been a very old customer of your brand and never have I faced this kind of ridiculous behavior frokm your end I request you to help me out with those people who dont know how to do their job. Please look into the matter and inform me when am I going to get my phone back! Thanks

              Dear Sir,

              I bought a Sony handset Xperia M dual on 3/11/2013 .this phone was working very well but from last few days it is giving problem in battery charging.I had contacted to your Sony authorised centre at Gumanpura district kota, state rajasthan with original bill, hand set and charger and explained them my problem. your authorised person checked my phone and informed me that its charging cable is damaged and need replacement. As their advised i had purchased one genuine charger but still this problem persist so I again visited the same centre they had again checked the phone and now they had advised to change the battery and accordingly i had purchased one Sony genuine battery and third time i again visited your centre this time they had kept my mobile for few hours and told that its motherboard and needs replacement and forced to pay service charge against their irresponsible service
              .i have much humiliated in this incident i seeking your intervention in this matter if I have not received any help from you i will be forced to lodge complain through RTI for the heavy lose and harassment experienced in this incident.
              My problem is so complex I don't know who is responsible for it but this is 7 time.
              I hope you will look into this matter seriously and will take appropriate action against service centre at kota and will compensate my loss by replacing the motherboard on free of charge.

              I would like to invite your kind attention to the complaint lodged on your various Service Centers during last week regarding unsatisfactory performance your Kota Service Centre. One of the employee Mr. Hitesh Gupta has misbehaved and shouted on me.

              As detailed in my trailing mail, I had approached your service centre at Kota regarding the problem faced by in my Sony handset Xperia M dual.

              I had received a call from your ASM from jaipur, Mr Arvind ([protected]) and asked me to visit your Service Centre at Kota once again. However, I could not visit them last week as I was on a business tour to Kolkota and assured him will visit the centre as soon as I reach Kota.

              I returned from tour today and visited your service centre and met Mr. Pradeep Agarwal. He has opened my mobile in front of me once again and I was shocked to know that this time has once again changed the problem and informed that some liquid has damaged the mobile. Every time they are changing their statement and this is the 4th time they are generating new problems.

              It is a matter of much regret that they are not willing to attend my complaint but just want to avoid me from attending it. This time they just want to close my complaint and have offered me a meagre amount of Rs. 2500/- for the same.

              I have much humiliated in this incident and now seeking your personal intervention in this matter. If I have not received any positive help from you I will be forced to lodge complaint through Consumer Forum for the heavy lose and harassment experienced in this incident.

              it was my last mail on the day before yesterday to sony and they did not give reply till now.


              so I guess you have understand all ..now tell me what I should do.

                Hi i am sneha from delhi, ([protected]@gmail.com), purchased a new sony xperia c4 ...The phone stopped working properly from the very next day of purchase. I went to sony authorised service center at laxmi nagar named immortal services, they took my phone for replacement and said that i will get my replacement phone by 3 days, and know its been 5 days when i call them they regularly say me a different story for my phone. And yest they said they i will get my phone tomorrow and when i called tehm today...They said that yo might get your phone by next week...But i cannot confirm you that also. The response of the service center was not that good. There answers could n't satisfy my question. I want my money back. I feel like i did a crime by buying your company phone...First the fone was defective and now the service of the service center is the worst i found that.

                Hopeless sony... Waste of money..

                  My comlaints are open from past 8 days with no solution. NO written reply from Sony on what they found and suggesting. I got only one call from Sony regional office "we are sorry but we cant do anything". My Fisrt complaint #[protected] Launched on July 2. My Second complaint was :[protected] Launched on July 6. Note :- I dont want to hear sorry over the call . I want a written reply from Sony on my complaints below along with estimates that service center is asking for repair of such issue . Please revert back to me in written that Sony cant do anything in such cases and its only consumer who will have wear the cost. Here are the datils:- I had bought my KDL 40NX 650 40" inch LED TV from "Ajay Retail Indra Nagar, 100 Fit road bangalore" on 8-Sep-2012 and paid 73000 Rs as TV cost . Serial number 3255626, Bill no C12/7266, TIN no is [protected]. Suddently on 27th June 2015 my tv gone black with No vedio. I have raised a complaint with Sony service center (complaint no is[protected] which got assigned to Vigneshwar Services ([protected]). After 2 days engineer visited my house and explained me that display pannel is gone and we you will get estimate for this part in 2 days . Onmy query about reason, he said these products are not made in India and designed current level is not as per indian standard . After 2 days I got a call from service center and I was shocked to hear the estimate which is close to 26000 (including parts and service cost). As this TV is close to 2.5 year old this is out of warrenty and hence entire cost has to wear by consumer. Just after this, I went online and search for the same problem and I surprised thousand of other had the similar issue with same product in India (between 2-3 of lifetime) . Its very much clear that its a manufacturing defect and fauly product is being sold to consumers. I understand warrent is over hence company has no responsibility but my question is, is this kind of quality consumer should expect from Sony after paying double the cost comparison to other product. Just after two year TV needs repair of Rs 26000 which is close to 40% of entire TV cost as repair. NOw the only option is either pay other 26000 or throw your 73000 Rs TV to road. I regret my decision to trust and buy sony, I should have bught some local product which anyways has to be thrown after 3-4 years. I have decided to take this matter to higest level and can produce thousand of complaints as proof against the same model. Please take this maater seriously and provide solution. If sony is already aware about the complaints that they are getting from thousand of cusumers than they should stop thier product until this defect is fixed instead cheating end consumers. On my previous complaints, I just got a call from your regional office and they say "Sorry to hear about your TV but you have pay the cost as warranty is over". I want a written email communication on the same that company has checked my complaint regarding the model I am complaining for and they are sure there is no manufacturing defect on the product sold. I request senior management to check some of the consumer forum site for the issues consumer are facing about your product before replying to my email. Please check the below forum where everyone who are struggling with KDL series and answer how come every consumer is loosing thier TV display with 2-3 years of time after product purchase date??? http://www.complaintboard.in/complaints-reviews/sony-bravia-led-tv-l100408.html If I don't receive a satisfactory support and reply form Sony on this, my next step would be taking this matter to consumer court followed by social media along with news media. No one want to buy a 80000 Rs TV just for 2-3 of life time and again spend 26000 on tv repair.

                    Hi; Its Vikash Kumar from LG Electronics Greater Noida also an ex employee of HP India Sales, Gurgaon (Dec’2010-May’2015) n Samsung Electronics Noida Factory & Gurgaon Corporate Office (July’2005-Nov’2010). I was always a true admire of Sony product, this is the reason why I have products of Sony in my house knowing the fact that I have big & very best facility of 25% employees coupon discount in LG n previously for Samsung Products also. Recently I have purchased one new Sony 40" LED TV from Saudi(Damam with International Warranty) n I requested your customer care team to provide installation n demo facility but they denied coz it’s not purchased from Sony India and it’s not in their rule book. Don’t u think Its illogical and something bulging reason coz we all know it’s a Global Company n having facility all over the world like others. As a valuable customer I will request you to provide free Installation n demo facility, after all positivity n true admire depends on best services provided by the product maker. Hope u will understand my point n help me to provide a free installation n demo ASAP, will be always thankful to Sony for their great Endeavour n world class services. I have dropped mails & request you customer care, 2 days back i got call from Mr.Lokesh (Sony Service Manager) but they are always requesting me to highlight this issue to Top Management to take further approval coz this is no in their hand.                       Good Day, Sub: New Sony Phone part replacement pending for almost one month. Tiket ID: [protected] Job No: W[protected] I would like to bring to your Notice that I purchased a new Sony Xperia E4g in the month of May end. The screen broke on the 8th Of June 2015 and I handed over the phone to your service center at salem Sharon Electronics on the 8th of June 2015. The service center informed me that the phone would be repaired and delivered within 7 days and the cost would be RS 3500/- I agreed and asked them to get it replaced. I called them after 10 days and asked them if it is replaced the answer was no we haven’t received the part. I called them on the 20 th of June 2015 the answer was no news from sony. I called the toll free no and instead that I would like to speak to the senior and the call was connected after 15 minutes and I informed the senior about the issue. The call was put on hold for 10 Min and he informed me that the part has been dispatched from Sweden and I should receive it by Monday the 29 th of June 2015. I called the Sony center Salem there was no response and I went to the service center and asked if the part has been received. The answer was no sir. I called the sony toll free no and informed the answer was I cannot transfer the call to the senior, I insisted and waited for 15 min to speak to the senior and informed about the problem. He put me on hold and the line got disconnected. It is almost one month and your company does not want to return the phone . Why does Sony sell products without spare parts. I would like to take up the matter to the consumers court and claim damages . Kindly provide me another new phone immediately if you cannot supply the phone by Monday 6 th July 2015. I have never experienced such a service from Sony.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, Sony is a very big company and i am a very small customer. I only possess sony products LED TVs(3 nos.), Laptops(02 nos.) and a digital camera(02 no.) at my home. Since i like the product quality and the brand performance. However, the service by some of the service centres are so pathetic that i am shocked. I will narrate an incident which happened to me on 02.07.15 at global services(SONY), Sodala, Jaipur. I had given my laptop for service which was covered under extended warranty. The problem was "vertical lines appearing on screen". I had given the same for repair on 08.06.15. And requested the lady on desk to get it done as soon as possible. I am a scientist working for the ministry of mines, Govt of India. And i had to submit my final report for 2014-15 session by 30.06.2015. For that reason, i had requested an early delivery.[Here i would like to mention that one more laptop belonging to my sister, had the same problem and it was outside warranty, and i got it done by paying cash and the display screen was replaced in 10 mins, the same day in front of me.]. They had told me that they will take around 3-4 days to do the same and even given me a date which was after 4 days. I waited for the day. And a call came to me that my case has been witheld since they didnot get certain approval for replacing of parts. They said another 3-4 days would be required. Again after 5 days they called me that the part is not avaiable. I was pissed off at that time since some 'serious hamper' on bonafide Govt work was happening due to the negligence and callousness of the people sitting in the particular service centre. I didnot called since then till 02.07.2015. They told me that "yes it is ready today. You can come and collect it" It was after around a month... that too after i repeatedly calling their busy line. Anyway, i had somehow managed the report by borrowing a laptop from friend. I want to know actually how long should it take for replacing the display screen. i was angry but kept cool. The main issue comes now. Now, while depositing my laptop the in desk executive didnt bothered to write the serial no. of the battery(which i had seen as customary while depositing laptops in any other service centres.) So, i had taken the pain to jot it down myself back side of my customer's slip. In haste, i forgot to remove the bluetooth dongle of my wireless mouse(cost INR 900/-). They as usual didnt bother to notice anything. Now, while taking delivery of my laptop in 02.07.2015, i was shocked to see the dongle missing from its usual pace. I politely asked the lady on desk (Barkha) to go and ask the service guy to check it whether it was mistakenly removed and kept it right there. Note that to change the display, it is not required to remove any accessories in the USB port(if any!! and I HAVE NO PROOF TO SHOW that it was there other than my own confirmed knowledge.) Now, they plainly refused to return back the dongle. I dont know what happened but they were behaving very hostile manner. I called for the service guy who did the service in my laptop. His name is Shailender. He couldnt talk to me with eye to eye contact. but as usual spoke very rudely. I called for the floor manager. and to my utter dismay another guy in service uniform named Ravi acted as a manager and talked to me. He was looking like a clown while he was acting as if he were the manager. HE didnt possess basic courtesy on how to talk. I should have been able to talk to the manager if i needed to. Thats what managers are for. Anyway, he said they didnt findit . and they dont accept any peripherals in first place. Now, i have a question.. Why on earth they didnt check the laptop for its peripherals, or write down the battery serial number? We give our priced possessions to them with a faith and they aren't bothered about the service quality or customer satisfaction. I felt that they had given me something really big from their own pocket. Now, i am really disappointed with this unprofessional behaviour. What will i do with the mouse without the dongle? The dongle was there which i am sure of. they didnt have any right to remove it from its right place. I have to have my dongle. without that my mouse becomes unusable. Kindly arrange to provide the "lost" mouse dongle or make a replacement of the same. The trust and excellence which makes this company the most leading in its field than its counterparts, will wane if these uncultured, unfaithful to their jobs.. kind of people continue to harass genuine customers like this. I would highlight the names once again Shailender (The Service guy who did the servicing on my laptop, and denied the presence of any dongle.. THE CULPRIT) Ravi the so-called the pseudo manager in a technician's outfit Barkha (front desk executive) who wasnt of much help but, behaved nicely. Address: SONY service station(GLOBAL SERVICES) Near Sodala police station, Sodala-Jaipur I kindly request you to look into the matter urgently please.

                          Dear Sir/Madam I Mr.BSRV Prasad from Hyderabad i have been purchased 3 no of SONY mobiles and in that two mobiles are damaged by my fault. and i have been sent to service center for repair. for first mobile repair cost is 10000/- paid for display broken front and back and in next day started problem (Back side door/ cover not fixed) for second mobile repair cost as claimed in Insurance it was given 25 days back after delivery again problem started (WIFI not coming). still second mobile not handed over to us. I think its very poor services from SONY. in feature we wont go for Sony brand. I request you to instruct Service center for better service. Sony Service Center Khirathabad Hyderabad.

                            Dear Sir, We have deposited this phone under the above Job no. to your Complaint. office twice time. But the phone is not repaired properly. Now its cover is not closed and even the pasting you have done for the sealing of this phone is not proper. you have just white washed the phone and hand over to me. In the last two month the mobile is with your centre. I have purchased this phone for our personal use, not to be detained to your centre. Kindly change the mobile and give me the other pcs as the other renowned company do.otherwise i have to move to the court and news paper to tell them regarding your quality. Please let me know decesion very quickly.

                                Sir, I am T R Raghavan from Chennai ( [protected]) and I bought Sony LED TV from Annamalai Enterprises, thiruvanmiyur in October 2012 at a cost of Rs. 60000/- ( Sony LED Tv Model no. KDL-40EX520IN[protected]I also bought Stabiliser as suggested by the dealer and the TV was installed by Sony TV Personnel only- In Jany 2014 we found the TV started displaying vertical lines and soon it went out of order- we called the Sony TV Personnel only and the estimate was given at 21615/- . We were informed that Panel had gone into repair and the cost of change of Panel is 22000/- I took up the matter many times with sony TV but they were insisting that in electronic item going out of order is 'Natural'. I do not understand whether going out of order in 27 months is natural. And even if it is natural, the repair cost is 22000/- which is close to 40% - Are they not looting the customer by giving sub standard good initially which will last for about one or two years and then when it goes out of order they quote a very high amount as repairing charge and you have no choice as they conveniently take shelter under warranty- I further learnt that this model had many such issues - especially with regard to Panel and the company ought to have repaired/replaced the Panel free of charge as it was defective from the very beginning - Otherwise why should it go out of order in such a short time even after having excellent stabiliser and fixing by company officials only and why should there be so many complaints ? Since that date I have kept in TV in box as I neither have the money nor inclination to give in to the loot demanded by the Sony TV as repair charges. My resolution terms: TV should be repaired immediately at nominal cost - And my idea of nominal cost is around Rs. 5000 to 6000 which is 10% of the TV. TV companies should educate customers that cost of repair would be prohibitive if the TV goes out of order as many of them do not have any idea about the same and it would come as rude shock to them

                                Sir, It is almost 2 months but no forward movement in the complaint - sony TV people called once and asked for details which was sent immediately - thereafter no reply - Pl take up with the Company Officials again - Raghavan
                                Sir, it is almost a month since the complaint has been lodged and yet no forward movement- Sony people called once and asked to send full details which was done immediately - afterwards no action - Their indifferent attitude to customer complainsts through Consumer redressal forum is highly objectionable to say the least -

                                  I have purchased one SONY LED TV (Model - 40R452A) & (Serial Number 4318354) and this was not getting on. Once service engineer visited and infomed that controlled card is faulty and same needs to be repalaced by paying around INR 7000/-. My basic questions are: how can controller card get failed within 2 years? What is the reliability of SONY brand? Why should i be punished for 7k which was not planned when I bought this TV. Surprise to me how this company takes care for quality of products? How Sony brand is still liked by people?

                                    I have a sony xperia z2, which fell in a 4 feet deep swimming pool and was taken out within 5 minutes. Both the covers were closed when the mobile fell into water. The unit is not powering on and the service center in vadapalani chennai (Doshi gardens) is not even interested to take a look at what happend and simply asked me for 12 - 13 k for mother board replacment and another 8k for lcd replacement. Sony advertises that this mobile xperia z2 can withstand in water upto 1 meter deep for 30 minutes, which is absoultely bull . How the hell can water get into the phone and [censored] up the board and lcd ???When it is adverstised as water proof phone. This is absoulte balls and i want sony [censored]s to know that i will never ever buy another product from sony in my life and i will never ever suggest any one to buy a sony product. I own a sony ps 2 as well which i am going to dump in the [censored]hole mother[censored]ers. This phone is costing me a fortune. Stop cheating and lying sony. You did not learn your lesson with " the interview " and if this is the case then you ll be no where. . I am going to post my experience about sony on every possible site and blogs. . Good luck

                                      I gave my Sony z1 mobile to Sony service center Yamuna nagar haryana (vipan electronics) on 18-6-15 for broken screen replacement. They promise me to give my mobile back in 10-12 days . Firstly they charged me a whooping 16000 rs for screen change . Secondly till date I have not received my mobile . Dear Sir, I have purchased a Sony Xperia cell phone from Sundram Sony Exclusive Showroom, 569, Nagar Nigam Road, Beside G.D. Complex, Marhatal, Jabalpur – 482 002, Madhya Pradesh, having invoice no. 42 on dated 15/04/2015 Its model no. is Sony Xperia T2-Ultra D5322 White. From the date of purchase, I have faced many technical problems in the above, which details I have mention following:- 1. Network is disconnecting so many times in a day, when I restart the mobile, it works properly for some time and after that its network again troubling by some technical reasons. It happens many times in a day. 2. Ringtone volume is very slow. 3. Camera does not working properly and it have a poor quality of camera like normal camera’s. 4. Transmitting voice does not reach properly to other person while talking; it works randomly, like low voice and loud voice again & again. It happens always while talking someone. I complained to the shop i.e Sundram Sony Exclusive Showroom, Jabalpur, he said that you should try to check the mobile in Sony Service Center. I went to Indore in Sony Showroom, situated at Yaswant Road, Indore, they checked and format the mobile and uploaded new software, but mobile is still works like previous. I hereby request you to please follow the above complaint at the earliest and replace the mobile form the shop or other place as order by you. You early action will be highly appreciated.
