I have bought 1 tonne Voltas 1 tonne inverter AC in March 2019. Since beginning of May 2019, it stopped working properly. Room does not get cooled even if the temperature is set to 17 and at times it shows error code P4. I have been to dealer from wherer I bought the AC. A complaint was registered ([protected]) on 5/20/2019 after dealer could not get local service attend the complaint. Since then I have been dealer many times to the service center attend to the complaint, called Voltas customer care ([protected]), local volats ASM, service center almost every day till today. Every day I call service center or call ASM or either go to the dealer or call to get compliant attended. I get standard answer that technician will call, come to house that day but no body turns up. I call them in the evening, I am told that technician will definitely attend tomorrow and the cycle starts again.

It is very pathetic and horrible customer service.

Below are the responses i got so far:
(a) From service center : we are not getting paid hence we are not servicing
(b) from ASM(voltas) : your complaint is the priority call and will be definitely attended today
(c) from service center : Technician will attend today definitely after completing the lunch.
(d) from service center: there are complaints more than 60days old. we are handling them one by one. we have been all these complaints to attend to
(e) from service center: we will find out technician why he did not attend
(f) from dealer : talked to RM about the issue and escalated. It will be attended definitely by tomorrow.
(g) from ASM(voltas): there were issues that are sorted out. I will check with service center. call me back after one hour. [I tried to contact but phone was busy]. when I finally got him on phone, he was surprised the issue is not resolved and told me he will find out

Call center gives the service center contact but is of no use.

I am yet to get issue resolved.

Very unprofessional conduct from a tata company. I am totally cursing my self for buying AC from tata.

Also customer service created another complaint ([protected]) on 3/6/2019 assuring that service center will attend to this in 2 days.
Service center told me that this is only few days old and why i am putting pressure.

till day it is 23 days since the first complaint and counting.

    I regret to inform you that my
    Voltas ( AC 1.5 Tons Inverter 3 star Split Model 183VADW) purchased on 09.6.19 has not been installed still,

    Have approached all doors possible for help & even got in touch with local service dealer(Durga Air condition Contact No:- [protected]) & but service dealer behave is very rudely, they talk to me ac install will be after 2, 3 days.

    so i request to you Look forward for immediate installation or please make arrangement for return of the unit.

      I have communicated to voltas regarding my 1 ton window AC compressor is not working only fan is running. I was communicated by voltas service personal stating that if my AC needs to be picked up from my home then I will have to pay for the transport. Now since I have registered my AC for complete comprehensive 5 years warranty, then why do I have to pay for the transport.

      Hi team,

      Today voltas AC personal checked the issue with the AC and said compressor gas is empty or leaked and will have to pick the AC later and re fill the gas. They will come for the pick up hopefully today at around 8pm and once the pick up is done it will take another 2 days for the refill. Now I have few questions

      1) how come only compressor gas re fill takes 2 days?

      2) I bought the AC 1 year back only out of which I used it only during the summers only so how come the gas issue has occurred so soon?

      3) Around one month back only I had my AC serviced and service personal told that the AC is working fine. Now just after a month there is a issue with the compressor gas. Are you guys running some kind of gas leak scam?

      I am not sure if I will recommend voltas AC to any one where just after a year it there are issues.

        Overcharged and bad installation, Remote not working,
        Rough service, bad escalations.
        Before 2months ago i request to installation for Split AC. But its cooling pipe exit via windows for ODU. I escalate this to every one in voltas but nobody response. In a week i received call today engg will come but nobody came.

          Yes, my Voltas AC at my business place was not working so i raised a complaint at help desk. Guy came on 1 or 2nd june... Gas leakage... Filled up pressure and did not turn up for 4 days... Then again i called customer care. N nos of time he came and fixed it and took 2500 rs n again gas git leaked n again called no of times and came today still not able to understand what is the problem... Please refund my money, i ll getbit done from local person n i suppose that will be a much better option...u are anot able to get back to me on this by today... I will move to consumer court by tmrw for sure... And trust me i ll not accept any compensation nor i will take my case back... And i will search for irate customers of voltas and will encourage n help them to sue you ppl

            We bought volts AC in April 2019, but suddenly a problem has risen that the water is leaking from the AC and cooling power is reduced. The customer care is incompetent to resolve the problem. The complaints has been registered on June 7, 2019. But still no reply from their side. I am fed up. I will advise everyone not to buy this company's products. I am done with it and I have no other option left except going to the consumer forum.

              We purchased an Inverter AC of 1.5 ton capacity 15 months back on[protected].But suddenly the AC had been no cooling affect since day before yesterday.Then we lodge a complain having request No.[protected].The technician attended and said that the Compressor has problem.As the compressor is under 5 year warranty the problem is to be resolved soon.As our climate is under severe heat we are facing a lot of problem since our health condition is not good. So we request to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

              On 13th June 2019 another technician visited and told that the PCB has been damaged and same thing is being informed to the nearest service center .Then we made contact with the service center personal who told us that they have made order for the spare and it will take minimum 5 to 6 days to get delivery of the spare.As we are in much pain due to severe heat we request to expedite the process and make us relief from pain.

                I have purchase VOLTAS AC from authorised dealer in BAREILLY. On the day of installation the AC was not working I requested the engineer to take back the AC to your store he denied for that. After repeated calling to the engineer was send after 10 days he took some part from AC and said the he will replace it but didn't came back.It is very tough to bare this hot weather without ac. The response of store owner is very very bad and spoke in very rude way.i want them to replace my AC as soon as possible as it has been one month since the day I purchased it till today.i think I have made I big mistake to buying VOLTAS AC its a pathetic condition and very bad response from store owner and company customer care response.

                I purchased two units of 1.5 TON VOLTAS AC from authorised VOLTAS store in BAREILLY on 24.06.2019.One of the two unit is not working from the time it is installed. The behaviour of store keeper is vv pathetic I called him so many times that my new AC unit is not working since the time of installation.The engineer who came for installation was requested not to change the AC from the that very time that this is not working, he was soo ignorant that he didn't listen and went away after installing it despite it was not switching on.When store owner was called he spoke in very rude way and was giving silly excuses for defective AC unit.When asked for replacement he directly refused it that to in very very rude way.Later after ten days he send an engineer who took out some components from new AC unit and said he will get he changed but even after one week he didn't came back and when came he bought the same defective companent and put in New AC unit.I am in big problem as temperature in my place is touching 50 degree with 5 month kid at home with not working NEW AC.I think I have made biggest mistake by buying VOLTAS AC and that from BAREILLY DEALER.

                  I have purchased a voltas cooler on 27th may 2019. Since then my cooler is giving trouble in operating. It's not work properly, Cooling capacity is very low. Several time I have complaint to voltas service provider.. but they are not giving any response..! One voltas service provider came to change the water pump.. but he used any other local brand pump.. instead of voltas pump.. which was fitted earlier. I want to replace my cooler or to get better service as soon as possible as they are not giving any proper response to my issues.

                  Till now no update! I want to exchange my cooler, volats executives told that they will return the amount of the cooler or either they will exchange.. but when voltas will exchange my cooler, when the summer ends. I am going to file a case against the product in consumer forum.

                  The technician which came to house, was very rude and told, do whatever you want to do, your cooler will not be exchanged and neither you will get the original water pump motor. Nawada service centre is very rude and fraud. They have taken my original pump motor and not providing the voltas pump. The pump they have installed gives very less water, even one side of honeycomb pad is not able to wet.
                  I am unsatisfied with the voltas.

                    HORRIBLE TO SEE NO REPLY FROM ANY OF SENIOR OFFICER WHICH REVEALS THAT FULL FREEDOM IS GIVEN BY VOLTAS TO ITS EMPLOYEES TO CHEAT OR PLAY WITH CUSTOMERS AND LET THEM ENJOY TIE-UP WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS/DEALERS AND SO
                    Dear Sir, , I repeat the steps happened with me ( Some more cases also with me if required). Please go through my lines step by step and reply accordingly;
                    1. DAY One: Online complaint lodged by me. A message was received on my mobile number [protected].
                    2. Day Two;-Tried to contact toll free to know the status of complaint and the date of repair--No Proper Answer.
                    3. Day Three: Tried all land line and Mobile unmbers available on your wensite for Jaipur-All not available/ Not in existence.
                    4. Day Foyr-Dropped email regarding complaint --Received monotonous email but with contact number of RM-Mr. Sanjay.
                    5. Day Five; Called Mr Sanjay-After several request-He agreed to send technician on next Day.
                    6. Day Six;-Two technician reached-Cleaned unit first, then told condenser not working and changed condenser but no avail--Both[ technicians were neither ITI nor diploma or any technical qualification
                    7. Day Six.-One Mr. Khan attended then on same day and found one of compressor is burnt-Repaired the connection and the system started running.
                    8. Day 09 Again informed by me that system is not working properly . Mr. Sanjay was informed by me for same that the Refrigeration GAS might have leaked. He advised to replace the AC Submitting that repairing will be very costly.
                    9. Day 12.; Voltas repairing agent visited and informed that there is a leakage of GAS. Mr. Sanjay was asked by me to submit the repairing cost of GAS replacement with THREE Month warranty such that it is not repeated for next three months. I was informed that there is a need of replacement of several parts to ensure that no leakage are repeated.
                    10. Day 15; After several reminders -Mr. SANAJY Arranged quotation for repairing of the system and told me to replace the pipes, Compressor etc. I asked your service agent and Mr. Sanjay to send me the inspection report / Observation of the repairing agent confirming the need of compressor and Pipes.
                    " By Below email;-I have asked to provide me -WHY SHOULD I CHANGE MY COMPRESSOR AND PIPES" What did you find during your inspection which has forced you to ask the customer for replacement of pipe and Compressor and Pay Rs.8500+Taxes where as this compressor was changed 03 years back by you under warranty. "
                    THE ANSWER IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND TO PENALIZE CUSTOMER.
                    Away from the below listed reason, i can tell you some more reasons for failure of a compressor. I would like to know your observations/Readings which were taken by your technician to ensure that there was a need of replacement of compressor .
                    I hope now you might have understood my point and customer problem. If need more clarification please feel free to write.
                    Please also let me know what are your requirement for selection of your service provider or any body can be appointed either a qualified or street Dog.

                        I trusted the Voltas ac and brought on 2017.since using the same product Voltas 1.5 ac split ac.1½ month before it faced some cooling issue and water leakage problem.. till now 2 to 3 persons camed for service and two times I water washed the machine because of their idea. But till now they didn't clear the problem.. and the response was very late and careless.
                        I'm working women and financial background family too.I have 8 month baby in my home with my mom.she only taking care. In this summer they feel very difficult and tough to live in .
                        I also mentioned that my baby was suffering pls help me ..
                        But none. Daily I called them, they will said that I will send the person, if anybody camed means their reasons may be DUST PROBLEM, SUMMER PROBLEM, HOUSE PROBLEM, HEAT PROBLEM. BUT THEY WONT UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEM. Today morning also I called they said that no person available today I will send tomorrow.

                        Very very poor service and they brainwashed me to take AMC also.. I trusted in this product and I puted as they told. After putting the AMC I'm facing these problems.

                        I don't know who reads this complaint. Pls take some action to survive my baby in this summer .

                        I believed but haved foolish ac experience.

                        There is no person to clear my cooling and water leakage issue .

                          Till date we brought spilt ac model 1=5tpn sac 183 we are facing gas leakage problem, even during warranty period voltas person came, fill gas only not properly find root cause, date of purchase was 26/04/15 now as no today i.e[protected] they saw your compressor coli is of aluminium and not of cooper thats why gas leakage occur every time and its cost around 8500/to rectify it with cooper coil now it's your fault that you all ac with aluminium coil not our we are facing troblem financial as well as the purpose for which we brought ac comfort pls tell why we have to pay 8000 for the thing that company sell there product which is not reliables that is aluminium coil of compressor

                              Sir, there was an issue in my ac...As there was no cooling. I complaint about the same on 1st... They sent there technician and he said there is a gas issue.he charged 1800/ - rs and by the same evening there was again a cooling issue.. since then everyday I m calling Volta's customer care for the checkup...No one is turning up.. today is 10june. I am attaching the screenshot of messages for your reference from Voltas.Everyday some one call me ask me the issue and that's it. Evn though it's a 5 star Volta's split ac..My bill comes around 10 k -11k.. I requested them to get that checked...They are just unhelpful. My mother is sick and she was admitted in aiims.she came home on 5th.since then she is struggling with hotness.. she is not able to recover just because of weather.

                                I had purchased 2 Split-type Air Conditioners (1*1.5 and 1*1 ton respecively)on 8th April 2019.Fitting of pipes and installation etc was done on 03//05/2019 by the company after wooden Panel fittings by the carpenter.The unit of 1 ton unit was not operative since it was left with gas leakage.After a long follow up it was made operational only on 8/6/2019.

                                  Complaint No.[protected], Issue has not be resolved yet. Borrowed on 7th May 2019, just delaying day by day . Even though the replacing part is delivered to the centre on 8th June.Now what's the issue, why the technician is not visiting. Now why the Jalandhar centre is saying that they will get that part on 18th June, when I confirmed from the senior associate they said it's already deliveries. If there is communication problem in staff, it should be seen by them . Customer's time should not be wasted and please not to fool the customer.

                                  No, Sir you are not working on it. You are just fooling us . Your associate said they will visit on 8th June when the defected part reached the center . When part has reached the center, why any technician has not visited yet?Adding to this when I called today to voltas center they said it will now delivered to 18th June. .I don't think in summer any technician will visit, they will visit in winter when there is no use. So better to return it get our money back.Just let me know the procedure if there is any Sir, this will be the great help.

                                    I have purchased voltas ac one year back. after one ear gas had been leaked. I registered complain for that one technician came on 17 May 2019 but after three days later AC was not cooling the room and technician had told me that voltas is giving you one month warranty of filled gas they charged 1800/- ₹ for that. After that I have complained several times but voltas technician not come for filling gas that has been leaked again. It has been 20 days has past but no technician come. Kindly see the matter urgent basis.

                                      In reference to the complaint number [protected] dated 03.06.2019 regarding AC water leakage.

                                      I have raised aforesaid complaint number on dated 03.06.2019. It is for your kind information that the authorised service provider of voltas AC in Rewari, Haryana are not providing proper service and customer facing the same problem of water leakage again and again since two year.

                                      In continuation of the aforesaid complaint technician visited at my address i.e. Rewari, Haryana on 05.06.2019 and checked the AC and told that your water pipe was blocked hence you faced water leakage problem.

                                      After that they clear pipe and took Rs. 500 from me.

                                      But just after one hour my AC water leakage problem occurred again. And for same I have complaint again and after two more days they came and said that cause of heat up the coil the water leakage occurred. I felt doubt on technician ability and when I asked whether they are authorised technician of voltas or not.

                                      In reply they said that we are not a authorised technician from voltas and have not taken any training regarding AC Service and repair from Voltas. They also said that they are working on contract and can repair all type of AC not only Voltas.

                                      But I have not put up more questions to them and second time they did their work on my AC to stop water leakage and went.

                                      But just after two hours water leakage started in my AC again. And till date that problem is the not resolved from the technician.



                                      The same issue, I discussed with the Rewari area manager Mr. Radheshyam but he made pretence every time to bother me. Some times he said that he terminate the technician, sometimes said that due to lack of technician process was delayed.

                                      Regarding this I discussed the issue to Haryana Circle Head Mr. Om Kumar tyagi too.

                                      First day he said that he would take my complaint at urgent basis and put up his best effort to resolve the problem at earliest.

                                      But Now he is also surrendered himself and said Sorry for delay to me.

                                      Therefore, You are my last hope to whom I am sharing my issue. Everyone including Shri BALA JI Refrigirator, Area Manager Mr. Radheshyam, Haryana Circle Head Mr. Om Kumar tyagi was not giving their proper result in customer satisfaction and fade up the image of TATA Voltas AC company.

                                      Kindly take action on them for the better future of Company as well as do something to resolve my problem at earliest.

                                        Hi team this is in regards to my window ac purchased on 5th May 2019. Soon after purchase I am water leakage problem. I call customer care and the technician visited to my place an suggested to buy a tray as this is the problem it persists in Voltas ac.
                                        I purchased tray and then soon after 1 day my ac remote display got blank. I called customer support for the same on 5th June and registered a complaint no [protected]. After calling multiple time to customer service for sending the technician they send it on 8th June as your turn around time is 24-48 but they visited post that and the was very talking very rudely and said your remote cannot be replaced I asked reason and he didn’t said any thing and ask me sign service report which I didn’t and customer care immediately but by that time he left. Customer care assured me that somebody will visit today but till date no one has came. I am still facing water leakage and remote issues. Is this kind of product Voltas make. In just 1 month of time I am facing so many issues. Request you to take back the and refund my money or resolve my problem.. else have to escalate this to higher management or file. Case in consumer court..
