This is complaint against whirlpool india after sales service and customer be-foolment.

I would like to complain about the complacent services i am receiving towards service request for repair of whirlpool appliances.

Currently i am facing issue with washing machine, this is forth complain in a row within six months span. Please see attached receipts. The whirlpool authorized service people are coming and charging hefty amounts every-time. Recently jk enterprises person asked ~ 6000 rupees for service and part replacement over and above recurring service charges as attached.

More-over recently i got befooled by platinum service provider who charged 4000 rupees claiming he is whirlpool service provider (Platinum service provider, sec. 44, shop no 14, mob. [protected]). This was automated service booked through whirlpool customer care. Later whirlpool india denied it.

I would like whirlpool area manager team to intervene to avoid customer befooling..

Please resolve the washing machine issue asap.

    Please send replacement washing machine today - customer name sudip bose - service call numberkl[protected] - after buying new washing machine it got delivered in defective condition since then it's more than 2 week passes i'm waiting to get replacement where as service person came for demo had inform that replacement process take 10 days normally.

    Whirlpool provide worst after sell customer ever experienced. Customer support centre having no escalations matrix and process to support customer then can only raise call ticket and update ticket status to customer who all call for help. Totally mis managed help desk customer support centre. Prefect example of very weak management member of the company unable to frame a good support centre and after sale service. Once a customer suffer will never go for such bad company like whirlpool.

    On 27.12.2019 received washing machine in faulty condition and after reporting that same to whirlpool and service engineer came for demo plus installation. Since then till now waiting to get replacement but no help from whirlpool. Every time i call help desk then provide me some another department contact number and when contact that department they said to wait for more day and after waiting when again contact back they provided another number of different department and when contact that department that said it will take more time. Like this i’m roming around different department of whirlpool with no help and solution.

    They provided new machine at last which is working properly. Happy now but every thing happened after lots of escalation only which should have been done by them with out escalation.

      Bought a new washing machine; bearing gone bad in 3 years. Repair man handed over 6k bill to repair it. Whirlpool used to standout in washing machine segment... What kind of quality are you guys producing now?

      It is pathetic that one has to pay for new bearings every 3 years, given that the usage is twice/thrice a week. Older machines used to work for 10 years minimum before getting into bearing troubles. Can your customer care call me and help me resolve this?

      I purchased new machine but it is not working. When start after 50 second prime mover is not moving. And machine time is still the same when I was started.

        From last four months i m complaining to whirlpool that my washing machine not working. But whirlpool is pressurising me to purchase new machine under buy back scheme instead of repairing.           This complaint is regarding Whirlpool washing machine PCB repair cost.

          I called the engineer as my machine was not working, he checked the same and confirmed that there is a problem with PCB mother board and this is not repairable.

          Hello,
          This is abhinav, i purchased whirlpool white magic 6.5 kg top load washing machine on 14.04.2018.
          As the day of purchasing i am having issue with this machine that clothes are not being washed clean and clothes having too much stain on it.
          I notified the service center for this too but they said it is fine. Now i am fed up with this.

            Machine was not working so i called customer care and they have send some person for repair after
            - 1st inspection service guy said the door switch / lock has broken and has he will raise the indent to company and it will take 2 working days to received the spare part and will fix once it is received.
            - 2nd inspection after two days he came and fixed the lock and machine dint run so he said there is problem with board and again he said it will take 2 days as there company must raise indent once we receive we will come and repair.
            - 3rd inspection yesterday he came and fixed the "board" but machine dint work it displayed error message, so he said i have another board i will fix this and check but again it dint work it displayed message "dem", so he called some person and took his help and solved the problem.
            The charges which he charged is :
            Door switch / lock : rs. 4800 (Including tax)
            Sc power pcb main board : rs. 12, 500 (Including tax)
            Washing machine model : whirlpool 7 kg fully automatic front load white (Supreme care 7014)
            - my doubt is what will be the repair cost of pcb main board as new machine only we brought for rs. 26, 000/-
            - what will be the warranty period pcb main board.

              I have purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator 265L intellifresh s month ago. But things inside the refrigerator got spoiled due to i sufficient cooling. One service from Chennai having inadequate knowledge came and he failed to rectify the defect. One Whirlpool service engineer Mr.Selvakumar came and told time being you set the refrigerator is high cool mode. I have registered two complaints vide Complaint No. CN[protected]/dt.12.12.19 and CN[protected]/dt.21.12.19. But issue is yet to be settled. Your people do R&D in my house. I never allow the same. I anyway don't need this failed product and need a compensation of Rs 45, 000/- against cost of refrigerator, spoiled things and spend my valuable time for waiting

                  I had purchased a washing machine on 19.06.2019, the bill is attached. It is fully automatic topload machine (360 bw) and have been facing drainage issues in the machine for past 4-5 days. I have been trying to register my complaint for over 4 days. Since no one responds on the contact no. [protected], ultimately, i got my complaint registered through whirlpool 's twitter handle whirlpool_india. Now, today i. E., on 29.12.2019, the service center in poothkalan, rohini sector-23, sends one mr. Rahul who says that the machine will need to be taken to workshop and it will cost rs. 3, 230/-. He doesnt answer that what is the issue, he doesnt answer that why do we need to pay when the machine is under warranty (3 years comprehensive warranty)?

                  Please resolve the issue as soon as possible without any charges.

                    Water purifier not working. Purchased recently. Opened the complaint wit customer support on friday 20th and they keep saying the engineer will come today. Very annoying. Very pathetic service
                    Engineer called on 21st and he mentioned he will be attending by 1pm.

                    He never turned up.

                    Called the manager and he mentioned it will be taken care,

                    Even today called the whirlpool customer support and they mentioned the case will definitely be attended by today 6 pm. None turned up.

                      Hello whirlpool team,

                      With loads of disappointment, frustration and irritation - finally, i'm writing to you guys...

                      This is in regard to the complaint which i did on 08/11/2019, sr number - bg[protected]. Post which your technician came and checked and said that the tap needs to be repaired. He mentioned that it would take 2 working days and he shall visit us again and repair the same. We waited for approx 4 days for him to revert since we dint hear anything neither from your customer support nor the technician.. So we called back to check wherein the technician mentioned that it would take some more time... Hence we waited with much patience for nearly 2 weeks and then again we follow up and get to know from customer support that the model which we bought (In 2018) doesn't exist anymore hence it's difficult to find the tap but still, they would try to figure out the same. (This even made me wonder that if your model is doesn't exist anymore then what you expect from your customers that they should keep spending 10/15k every year and keep buying the new models...??) its none of our problem whether the model exists or not... It's your job to keep the backups and spare parts available to a certain extent of a time period)

                      Well anyways - post nearly 4 weeks (1 month of time) after few follow-ups from our end we get to know that the tap is available which shall get replaced at the earliest and it will take hardly 10mins to do the same). Your two technician come in the noon and take approx 1 hour to fix one tap but we did observe that the technician was unable to fix the tap in the acquaguard as he had mentioned over the call. He tried really hard and used a knife from our kitchen to fix something in tap.. It did appear to us that somehow he is managing to fix and leave from home and in this process, he did open the acquaguard completely wide open and fixed the tap with few scratch marks in front (Please refer to the pic attached) and post this he left; giving us the bill of rs 610/-.

                      The tap was fixed and was serving the purpose for a while but in the meanwhile, we noticed that the water started leaking from the joint where the technician had opened the acquaguard to fix the tap from inside. We wanted to tell you that till date the water continuously leaks; its more than a month since the water is leaking... (Hereby attaching the video for the same). We called and spoke to a technician and informed him the same where he mentioned that he would drop in check on the same but as expected he dint turn up and neither did he called back..in fact, he stopped responding to our calls!!!

                      Finally, i got the number of mr sundhar phone number[protected] to whom i sent the video of leaking water from acquaguard to which he responded that we stay in which area.. After seeking that information he remained silent for one week. Again it's the customer who has to follow up with the pathetic service of whirlpool team. As a false commitment - we got the same response that it will solve the same day and technician calls saying he shall reach in an hour or so... It's going to be a week now and still, your technician's one/two hours are not over.. And it's again the customer who has to follow up to which the technician stops responding.

                      I'm any of the customers across pan india who is facing this issue and i'm sure that there are many who would be facing the same but not finding time to pen down the experience they are facing with the post-service of the products bought from whirlpool and especially when it is as critical as drinking water.
                      Retail industry - been there and done that so i do know and understand what is meant by customer service
                      Would have really appreciated if you guys would have even focussed on the post-service of your products which needs to be taken care once the customer has bought anything from your brand. Looks like you guys are more into only selling, selling and selling rather than even look into - how to retain your customers!
                      Do train your team/technicians who are just so least bothered and just not doing there work for actually what you have hired them for...

                      While purchasing your product we even got to know that there is free service as well - for which also we raised the query and your technician calls up and once they get to know that its the free service then the technician never turns up - what the hell is this!!! What kind of training you are giving to your technicians - do they see the cost involved and then they go to customers place???
                      Do you guys ever check back from customer support whether the issue has been resolved to customer's satisfaction? Is there any pro-activeness in your team or is it just for the sake of showing off or boosting about your post-service facility while selling your brand - stop cheating your customers please!

                      Hoping that someone from your team would at least bother to look into this and resolve it at the earliest with due respect to your so-called customer service

                        Our sr number with whirlpool service centre: mr [protected]

                        There was this cooling issue from nov.24th, 2019 in our fridge the whirlpoool service team (Coimbatore) is highly indifferent and non-cooperative. We had purchased the fridge in may 2018 and since then some parts of the fridge were changed twice, once this may and second time during this month. This problem is pending for nearly a month now. We are unable to use the fridge and the items are all spoilt.

                        The service team did visit us twice but did not rectify the defect. It is we who keep calling them and we are not updated about the status of our case. Spending an amount of rs. 8000 on a 1.5 year old fridge is exorbitant. Even now whenever i call them i do not get any commitment from them and they never call us. We get the reply that the spare parts are yet to be received. We are experiencing mental torture. We have decided to throw away this fridge and never again go for whirlpool fridge

                          This is a stupid company. Avoid.

                          Shivkumar is an absolute disgrace to the company. Still doesnt pick our calls.

                          I am absolutely astounded to the lack of empathy shown to the customer.

                          I want to throw this piece of garbage away but my complex doenst allow this. I have to somehow replace this crap.

                            I purchased one whirlpool 340 l 3 star frost free doble door refrigerator (If 355 elt, arctic steel) through amazon vide invoice no:smab-114902 dt.28/02/2019. The same has been despatched from clodtail india pvt ltd, snd infra, shed nok3, survey no:402/1f2b. Padur road, kuthambakkam village, poonamali, chennai-602107.
                            After purchased with in a month cooling problem started to very low then i complaint to whirlpool customer care[protected] after that the local service center at karaikud cell-[protected] i as come and inspect and to change the following spares by our 7 complaints till date.
                            1) change of sensore 2) advise to purchase a new whirlpool stabilizer 3) to change the heat eliment 4) advice to amc up to 2022 5) change of board.
                            Till date complaint has not rectifid we sufferd a lot. Today mechanic come and visit and he has no idea for rectification and tell us to replace refrigiratore is the only solution. Furthur i wish to inform i am your one of your longest customer for the past 20 years. For this time only i faced lot of problem with this fridge. This is a day to day problem for my housewife so request you to kindly replace the fridge.

                              Shreeji enterprise are cheats. They have been creating problems on my washing machine and each time they come they create one more problem to extract money. They even do not wait to check the problem. There was a problem of leak from my inlet tap and they made me change the panel costing inr 9000 of my washing machine. The technician did not wait. The problem of leak still persisted. Now the technician is demanding another 500 for service charge and telling to shell out rs.900 for tube and fitment for the water inlet. The consumer complaint cell is poor.

                                  I had called up whirlpool customer service to register a complaint for my washing machine on dec 1 2019. Complaint number bg[protected]. A technician named guru from max serve solutions (Authorized service provider of whirlpool) came in and checked the issue. He was pulling a wire and either by mistake or purposefully broke the wire that connects to the capacitor. Then he started telling that the capacitor has an issue and that needs to be replaced and i have to pay rs. 2200/- i told him that i can't pay for his mistake, but he simply did not agree and left collecting the visiting charges of rs. 470 from me. I told him that i will raise a complaint with whirlpool and he seemed to be least bothered about it. I then raised a complaint with whirlpool on this issue and even followed it up multiple times. I only get to hear that they will send a senior technician and get it fixed and that i do not need to pay anything more. The complaint was never attended to. On dec 5, when i again followed up, they said that the complaint was closed as the customer was not ready to pay for the capacitor. This is now back to square one and just causes a lot of stress to me. Seems whirlpool is not at all interested in their customers and employ service folks with such bad behaviour

                                      Have a whirlpool refrigerators, i have lodged a service request for my refrigerator, as i technician (Mr mujeeb of bangalore) did replace some equipment, i paid 3000 rs to themfor my service through phone pay, i asked him for the bill. He did not provide the ball, said me to send in whatsapp, did not send it, it did not work after one day, i raised complaint again, he is not bothering to come here to provide service even after making many phone call, he is not responding to my call, while i called customer care, they are replying with harsh response, they said to call again to technician again, even though i said technician are not responding to my call, they did not bother to respond properly, really frustrating service centre of whirlpool. I have paid him 3000 rs and then they don't want to provide service
