Hi ! Last week Croma retail team called my mother on her cell phone while she was taking her lecture in college and asking her about the washing machine. NOW HERE IS THE FULL STORY PLEASE READ !!! I had placed an order for Samsung washing machine somewhere in July somewhere around 26th or 27th. The order number was SLE00178253 and the amount charged on my credit card was $ 403.54 I had placed the order as a gift for my mother who lives in Mumbai. I live in Canada. She didnt know where the machine was coming from. I had called her after few days and the machine was still not delivered as a result I cancelled and bought another machine from SONY MONY Parla west. It was a SIEMENS machine. Before ordering that machine I had asked Croma retail customer service representative to place and order for same machine but there was lot of hassle involved in doing so so i asked them to cancel the order all together ( the Samsung SLE00178253 order ). SONY MONY delivered the machine and thats what I have in my house. The SAMSUNG machine from CROMARETAIL never arrived at my doorstep. I had cancelled the order before it came to my house due to delays. Its been well over a month and a half that I had sent my initial email enquiring about the return credit. To follow this up one of your agents called my mother last week who knows nothing about from where the machine came. I am assuming she has mistakenly told your team member that CROMARETAIL sent the SIEMENS/SAMSUNG Machine, she doesnt even know which company machine is it !!! The current state of the transaction is that I HAD CANCELLED THE ORDER AND THE MACHINE WAS NEVER DELIVERED. I HAVE ALSO NOT GOT THE REFUND OF THE AMOUNT !! I had spoken to one of your customer service agents and they said that they would charge 2% refund fee for which I had agreed. After that I have exchanged few emails with [protected]@cromaretail.com enquiring about my money for which I get the same template every time. Here is the template "Dear Mr ABC( dont want to disclose my Identity kindly use my order number to track my details ), Greetings from Croma, Thank you for writing to us, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Kindly request you to give us some time we are investigating the concern and will be resolved at the earliest . For any further details please call our toll free number[protected]. How much more time do you guys need for this ? " URGENTLY WAITING FOR MY REFUND REGARDS ROHIT.

    I had given my Lenovo G570 laptop for service in Croma Retail Thane branch (Registered contact no. [protected] at the time of purchase). I was informed that there is a problem with the hard disk and the same would take 15 days to repair. I had given the laptop more than 20 days back and I'm still waiting for any reply from your end. When I contacted the customer support, I was assured of a call back within 24 hours. But regret to say that its been more than 72 hours since I received any call from your team. I did not expect such a poor quality of service from TATA brand. Rest assured I will not purchase any product henceforth from Croma and I will not recommend the same to anyone also. Your complaint has been routed to the appropriate teams and shall be addressed at the earliest. I got back my laptop after one month on 7th September 2013. After that the laptop was frequently hanging and extremely slow in response for few days. SInce yesterday Windows 7 is not starting at all. I get to see only a blank screen. There is no croma store near my area and every time I cannot go to the store in Thane. I dont have the time and energy to visit your store. In this regard, I have registered a complaint with ref no. Claim Id:101177 Service Centre: Intarvo Service Center Mr. Ravi Shankar +[protected] Extended warranty will not covered for the below cases: • Physical damage • Water Damage • Ware tare • Software Issue and • Accessories like battery, Charger, adapter and hinges will not be covered in this warranty. For any further details please call our toll free number[protected]. I do not have the time during the week to visit your service centre in bhandup which works only from 10-6. I have reinstalled the windows operating system again. But the response time is very bad and this was not the case before the hard disk crashed. I really doubt whether a new hard disk was even replaced at all. I will visit your croma centre near my house and submit the laptop today. I want the problem to be checked. I have purchased the product from your branded store CROMA. The extended warranty is provided by CROMA so I'm under no obligation to visit any service centre said by you. If I have to visit a service centre to rectify the problem, I could have bought the product from any other shop.

      I've ordered a Samsung Galaxy Star MOBILE PHONE online in www.cromaretail.com ON 18th Sep 2013. Order Number SLE00692466. I received a defective produt on 21st Sep & when I called the customer care, they agreed to replace the product & arranged for pick up on Friday itself (021/09/2013). (To pick up the defective produt) I've been calling them since Monday to know when they can pick up the defective product... It is not done still now (26/09/2013 Evening).         Hi, I have purchased croma tablet CRXT-1134 for Rs 6999 from Belapur croma store on 4th of August 2013 with 12 months warranty, but within 15-20 days i have noticed that there is some fault while charing the tablet and also the tablet gets stuck while using android software. Then on 4th september i submitted my faulty tablet to Croma centre at Belapur, after continuosly following up with croma customer care they replied me that the charing point of the tablet was physically damaged and i need to pay Rs.250 for the repair or you can take your tablet back with no repair. Now a days everybody knows how to charge a phone or a tablet, there is no way that it can be called as physical damaged piece as all the other functions of the tablet is working fine. I would request to please help me out from this issue as I have lot of faith in Indian Consumer Forum.

        This product and the Croma customer service deserves a NEGATIVE rating. Gifted this to my mother and it simply let me down.
        Bought this around Sept. Last year and has been going only for repair ever since. To add to the dissatisfaction the customer service is AWFUL.
        Request to one and all - PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER EVEN IF GIVEN FOR FREE.
        The battery life is disgusting.
        The tablet ONLY keeps rebooting and the service centre ONLY keeps formatting the software.
        I even went to the Croma customer support centre and they simply refused to get me an exchange for this useless product and directed me to the service centre.
        Don't waste your valuable money after this product.

          Hi, I had purchased a LED TV from croma fort store on 15th August and till date I have not been delivered with the TV. I have complaint many times and every time i am given an assurance but they are not met. I have a TV delivered which is faulty post 15 days and the replacement was promised but not delivered. Today when I speak to your representative i have been asked to take my money back. Is this the way customers are treated. I have paid 47000/- for the 98 cm Samsung TV which is not yet delivered.             Had a worst experience buying a laptop from Croma store. Had bought it a year back along with extended warranty for 2 years thinking I will be able to hedge future risk of laptop repair. they are so clever in selling you the warranty but they suck when it comes to honoring the contract. Stupid people have contracted the whole servicing to third party and they take no responsibility on themselves. the third party is least bothered about the defects. Upon this nothing seems to be covered in the warranty. the end result is you have to get it repaired outside paying hefty amounts. My sincere request to the store to stop playing these games. The customer is no longer foolish as you think. You are not the only players in the market. Improve your services for customer satisfaction and stop people from badmouthing about you. The competition is as it is increasing. Learn some manners folks! Really frustrated.

                I purchased the samsung refrigerator Ref FF253L RT26FARZASP, bearing Chroma Invoice No. SLF02A[protected] from Jaya Nagar Chroma Retail.

                The delivery people were rude in their language & the Refrigerator is having 3 dents in it. When i spoke to Manager of Chroma (Woodys Jayanagar), he is giving me vague options of waiting 8 days for an exchange or selecting another model of higher price range.

                This seeks attention for a consumer complaint & if not resolved a legal case.

                  I purchased an Apple i-pad Retina (32GB) from Tata Croma on 1st June 2013. There was a 5% cash back option if purchased using SBI Credit Card within 45 days. 5% of the credit card payment of 35400 is Rs 1770. Till 18th August there was no refund and so a complaint was lodged with Tata Croma's Customer Care on 18th August. The Complaint No was SR[protected]. Inspite of having called them 4 times since then, there has been no remediatory action other than polite excuses. On enquiring with friends it turned out this is a common practice. About time such malpractices are brought out and made public.

                  Haha... the last time I called at 5 pm, the Customer Care Executive tolde me "Our team will get in touch with you within 4 hours." At 9:30 pm he says "Our team will get in touch with you in 24 hours." Wonder what the reply will be tomorrow. :D

                  My complaint has not been resolved. Your Team however has got in touch with me, asking for details. Effectively, I have to now spend my time retrieving Bank statements, etc. I hope these are things you'll intimate customers before buying.

                  Its been almost 3 weeks now. I have provided my details, bank statements and all other sorts of data. Inspite of this I get answers from the Head Cashier at Tata Croma in Phoenix Market City Mall like there is no response from internal teams. How much are customers supposed to co-operate with you. Its shocking that a Tata company can do things like this. It looks like the staff at Tata Croma Phoenix Market City Bangalore are exceptionally incompetent but rest assured that I will do my bit for spreading the word among my cicles. I have been instrumental in persuading 2 of my friends from buying Tata Croma products and I am sure there will be more to add to the list. In the meantime, I will continue updating this post until my money is returned.

                    I had made payment of Rs 1999 against purchase of Targus rolling laptop case 40c on 27th July 2013. Despite of making the payment i have still not received the product still. Even raising concern with customer care (SR[protected]) i have not received any feedback nor received call from store for product delivery. I would request the concern person to look into this issue seriously since last one one month i am awaiting for the product delivery.

                      Hi, I had given my music system Denon AVR 390 receiver for service two months ago and called repeatedly to get some reasons. This was through you croma extended warranty team. Finally today 23/08/2013 they gave me a call saying it is ready. They checked with two speakers in all channels changing wires and in all channels the volume was less. I was convinced as they said it is repaired. I went home and checked the system on all my five speakers. It has very low sound as it sounded there and subwoofer could not be tested as they did not have any equipment to check preout. Now even in volume level 1 the sub woofer blasts in full volume and all remaining channels are very low. The problem is not at all rectified and I need to take the big receiver and run to service centre. I felt the other retailers are far better to change things at home during warranty. At least the big items like TV, music system and fridge. This is very irritating. Please get my receiver working and my warranty is still there till June 2014. Do not call people without repairing and waste out time saying it is checked. Having two months of time nothing is repaired then why did you take my system for repair?? my invoice number SLF02A[protected] dated 26/06/2011.                         Order Cancelled. refund not done

                        Ordered for Micromax Canvas4. Website showed Mobile was in-stock with delivery of 7 days. Later multiple calls were made to confirm on delivery. Croma executives sometime stated Mobile was instock & on other occasions stated out of stock. Got frustrated & cancelled the order. Had to make multiple calls to cancel the order & get confirmations. Was a horrible experience. Order Cancelled 1st time SR[protected] 3th Aug Order...

                        Dear Croma Team, Well I should say CROMA PEOPLE ARE CHEATERS.... BIG PROMISES AND FAKE WORDS-This is what my experience of last three days says...... I am DAM SURE you people will not reply to this mail and the destination of this mail will also be in TRASH. I am sure all my complaints are recorded in your customer care systems but still to knock your short memory I am re-writing it I have baught a TAB from Croma Store Mumbai-Airport Model No. CRXT1131 oe n 19.08.13 , on the same day i found it was defective which your service centre confirmed at Indore. I am resident of Indore, MP. Your people claimed that if peice is defective it will be replaced. On reaching home, I found it defective. I went to service centre in Indore. ti Now my problem is to replace defective TAB but you doesn't have any store at MP Indore , my request you to send correct TAB to my residence address to replace defective.                             I BOUGHT A PORTABLE AC, WITH 1 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY, FROM CROMA, CHENNAI, IN FEBRUARY 2013. AFTER A FEW DAYS O[censored]SING IT, I FOUND THAT IT WAS FAULTY. COMPLAINTS WERE MADE TO THE CROMA CUSTOMER SERVICE AS FOLLOWS :

                            1. CHN210413FS00004 ON 21.04.2013
                            2. CHN030513FS00003 ON 03.05.2013
                            3. CHN190513FS00008 ON 19.05.2013
                            4. CHN220713FS00003 ON 22.06.2013 & 01.08.2013

                            EVERY TIME I COMPLAINED, A NEW PERSON CAME FOR SERVICE AND THE PROBLEM HAD TO BE EXPLAINED EVERY TIME. EACH PERSON GAVE THEIR OWN OPINION, PROMISING TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND CLOSING THE COMPLAINT CASE A FEW DAYS LATER, SAYING THAT THE SERVICE HAS BEEN COMPLETED WITHOUT TAKING ANY ACTION AND SOLVING THE PROBLEM. I HAVE REPEATEDLY REPORTED TO THE LOCAL SERVICE MANAGER, MR. LAKSHMANAN, WHO PROMISED TO SOLVE THE ISSUE OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITHIN 2 DAYS EVERY TIME I TALK TO HIM. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FROM FEBRUARY 2013. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THIS PRODUCT FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE. I GOT THIS PORTABLE PRODUCT FROM MY OLD PARENTS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ASTHMA WHO REQUIRE HUMIDITY CONTROL IN THEIR ROOM. THEY HAVE GOT FRUSTRATED AND INSPITE OF THEIR ILL-HEALTH, THEY HAVE DIRECTLY GONE TO THE LOCAL CROMA SERVICE CENTER & HAVE COMPLAINED. I KINDLY REQUEST THE PROVIDER / MANUFACTURER TO EITHER REPLACE IT WITH ONE WORKING PROPERLY OR TAKE IT BACK & GIVE MY MONEY BACK.

                            I BOUGHT A CROMA PORTABLE AC, WITH EXTRA 2 YEARS EXTENDED WARRANTY, IN FEBRUARY 2013 FOR MY PARENTS. WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE IT SINCE THEN BECAUSE OF A FAULTY PROUCT WITH MANUFACTURING DEFECT. REPEATED COMPLAINTS WERE MADE TO THE CUSTOMER CARE / SERVICE PERSONNEL AND EVEN DIRECTLY TO THE SERVICE MANAGER, BUT IT WAS AND STILL IS ENDLESS. DIFFERENT SERVICE PERSONNEL CAME EACH TIME, TO WHOM THE PROBLEM HAD TO BE EXPLAINED FROM THE BEGINNING, AND SERVICE MANAGER IS STILL MAKING FALSE PROMISES TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

                            LAST WEEK, SERVICE PERSONNEL AND SENIOR TECHNICIAN LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT AND THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT IT IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND THAT IT IS FAULTY. 2 DAYS LATER, MR. VIVEK FROM CROMA CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER CALLED US AND HAD PROMISED TO REPLACE THE EXISTING PRODUCT WITH A NEW ONE. THERE HAS BEEN NO ACTION IN THIS REGARD TILL NOW.

                            TO THE CROMA MANUFACTURER: EITHER REPLACE OUR UNIT WITH A NEW AND THOROUGHLY TESTED WORKING PRODUCT OR RETURN BACK OUR MONEY.

                              I purchased a Samsung LED T V on 3-8-2013 from AUNDH. T V was sincerely delivered on 4-8-2013 . Eventhough it was told at the time of purchase that T V will be installed in 2 days,4 days have passed but the T V was not installed.Contact made to call center resulted in no useful purpose as they only say it will be done tomorrow.I donot when that tomorrow will come.Very sad experience with Croma. Either there is a problem at Croma or at Samsung. My complaint no is BOW040813ID00338.I hope somebody at appropriate level will see this message take corrective action to keep up their name.

                                Hi All,
                                Beware of buying products from Croma.
                                Because after selling products it is totally fail to provide any type of service.
                                Its all type of employees are only hunger to sell the product and their after they behave like a Loafer person.
                                They will try their best to threaten if you go near them.
                                Wheather it is store manager or any very big personality of Croma all will behave like a handicaped person.
                                Some of them will enjoy your problems.
                                And will say "Do what you want.. but our staff will do only what I'll say"

                                So as per my around last 3 years of experience Croma has an intentional pathetic service after selling the product.
                                So that customer will not insist for any service and they will have less no of service request and then finally they will telecast "Hey we(Croma) are no one in getting less no of service request" Obviousley if one will not provide any service then they will not have service request further.

                                You can see the no of complains full related to service and replacements after sell.

                                Stricktly Beware!!!

                                You can see I'm being punished from last two consecutive months and they laughing at me.

                                  Hi Raman and Croma service department,
                                  You have failed all round.
                                  First your engineer visited after many phone call.
                                  Then very long wait for parts.
                                  Failed to arrange the parts.
                                  Now changed your decision to repair the existing part.
                                  I was not agree for this.
                                  But you people kept calling on for taking my TV away.
                                  After an alternative I surrendered you my TV.
                                  And RAMAN had committed that after 4 days I will give my TV back.
                                  If Croma fail to do this then a replacement will definately be arranged.
                                  And now 15 has gone still no response from your side.
                                  Finally I'm going to take a leagal action.
                                  Because I don't think their is any person in Croma department to take any decision. Starting from managers to service providers and senior leaders all are cheater, anti-social and manner-less. Last time I had a talk with Higher CCE named as VINAYAK he also seemed very helpless and asked that he can not do anything.
                                  Once I start leagal procedure you will have to pay all the charges like
                                  Advocate
                                  Office leaves
                                  Other expences during leaga process like travel, documentation etc.

                                  Even more the same I'll mention on all the feedback/review websites.

                                  That only I want to escalate to the public that you have only round table escalation system. But no one is having power to take any decision. You can take action only when your business going down.
                                  And you and your CRoma team is very well aware of it.
                                  Croma has a practice of selling repaired device as new and I have the recordings as I am also the victim of same & during one concall their officer commited the same as common practices in Croma.

                                    I bought a micromax funbook infinity p 275 from Croma Koramangala Bangalore on 17 Feb 2013. Serial number is v[protected] mep no 8503in the month of March
                                    The software of the tablet got corrupted and I had submitted to Croma service desk for repair in the month of March. I was given a receipt for follow up. The tablet was send to Micromax service center. After frequent follow and visits to Croma I was called one day to collect the tablet in the month of May 2013.
                                    To my surprise there were other issue like
                                    1) Camera was not working,
                                    2) Not getting charged,
                                    3) Tablet screen is replaced with some other old damaged second hand screen which happens to have lot of scratches also
                                    4) I could see the tablet screws are protruding outside and also lost safety cap I have asked Croma to Fix all this and given me back my tablet in the same submitted status, which has even the screen guards for protecting screen.
                                    In short It was not the tablet I submitted to Croma. Seems like its exchanged with some one elses
                                    Croma submitted to Micromax on 09/06/2013. Croma took my old receipt and gave me a new one with new date.
                                    This is 6 months now and I have been following up weekly on this. I got a message from Croma Manager Uma (mobile [protected]) to come and collect it from the croma store. The message read "Sir Pls collect ur tablet 4rm the croma store. Which is in koramangala 6th blk. near to Sony world signal." dated 30/07/2013
                                    I went to croma store to collect it today.3/08/2013.
                                    To my surprise they have lost my tablet somewhere. Uma has requested me to again wait till they find it. The Koramangala store manager (mobile [protected]) said he is not responsible he can look into it on Monday.
                                    I asked him for a refund or I was also ready to buy anything of equivalent or more price from croma if I get a refund for this. They have completely denied all my request and asked me to wait until they find it. For this same issue I have visited Croma several times (may be 15 to 20 times) since March Uma (mobile [protected]) used to fool me always saying she will get it done in one week.
                                    I have paid 20 rupees as parking charges every time I have visited croma + petrol (my house is 12 km away from Croma) + time (every time I would have spent 1 to 2 hours waiting for resolution)
                                    I wanted Croma manager to provide a letter in writing that he will surely fix it on coming Monday, he has denied that also. I require a refund for the Tablet now.

                                      I had ordered a 'HUL Pureit" on 16-June-2013 & got delivery on 23rd June 2013. I found product was damaged.

                                      Complaint on Customer Support by phone on delivery date (23rd-June-2013) & sent mail about the same at [protected]@cromtaretail.com, with damaged product snaps.

                                      Still waiting for exchange.

                                      When ever I called to Customer Care, they just regrets for inconvenience and told me that your product will be picked up by tomorrow.

                                      But still I am waiting for exchange OR amount refund.

                                      Please if any one from cromaretail see this complain, try to sort our the problem.
